A Day At The Mall
❥ ‘Idol’ is the label that awards her every glance – here, at least she could rest at times from being a concept rather than Rise despite she’s still a cute girl. Another pretty face in the crowd, nothing extraordinary and she can live without a problem. Romantic pursues aside, she can gladly brush off any guy (or girl!) if necessary just to keep herself together. Persistence aside, there’s so much she can do before letting a good scream out – fortunately nobody had to see the SCARIEST side because of a gallant prince coming to the rescue.
“Huh?” Amidst the confusion, she can’t demand an explanation and getting called ‘darling’ simply sends a chill down her spine! It’s eerie to an extent, mostly de anyone wanted a piece of her “Wait..Y-you’re being too rough…” It leaves lips in a whisper, audible for him alone.
Sighing to retain composure, Rise felt her heart wringing and quietly sinking into her stomach. She’d let the guy know after this, how dare he! Her heart already belongs to Yu-senpai! A sheepish laugh, the apologetic yet playful smile – perfect facade to fool whoever saw them! He should be glad, even thank her how she let him be with such an adorable girl! “Ahaha, sorry! You know I’m super forgetful but that’s how you like me, don’t you?” Acting comes out naturally, she had to fake her feelings and while lying to herself isn’t appropriate she would gladly do so for now.
I wasn’t hard for Masaki to tell that the girl was obviously bothered by his sudden display. Though she of course begrudgingly played along with him. “Hah, it is a part of what makes you cute after all,” he replied to her loud enough for others to see. Seeing this scene, the spectators of the crowd were obviously dejected and disappointed. As they helplessly started to scatter, Masaki took the girl along in hand and quickly turned around the next corner he saw.
“Well that’s taken care of,” Masaki lightly sighed as he broke his act and released her hand. Looking at her closely, the was certainly beautiful and could see why she would draw attention. “Sorry about that, I thought it was necessary if we were going to get away from them. It didn’t step over any lines did I?” he had hoped he didn’t offend her in any way. Worst of all would be if she did have a real boyfriend.
“Masaki Ichijou. You’re pretty good at putting on an act,” he complimented,

“ Aww, come on…. “ A man in black jumped effortlessly up to a tree branch he couldn’t reach.
Why, you ask? Because his kite got stuck there. Why was a grown up man playing around with a kite in the first place? Because it was the first time he got to try it out.
Regardless, now was an unfortunate situation for an unfortunate man. He wasn’t gonna get it back alone like this, if he had a ladder he could but he’s in the middle of the city, in a park.
He’d have to ask someone for help. As much as he dislike having to rely on others.
“ Hey you, red mister, could ya help me out? “ Swallow pointed up to the kite in the three entwined in branches. “ I have an easy idea but I need another person to make it work. “
Masaki sat at a table, not leisurely taking a nap or eating a snack. No, instead he was tampering around with his Red Gun CAD in front of him. The scientist here seemed to have somehow restricted his spells of use through his tool. Although he was not an engineer even close on the level of his partner or that guy, Shiba Tatsuya, Masaki hoped to fix his problem with the bit of information he had in this skill area.
It was only a moment after that that he was called out to by a man in black armor. Although this person talked rather young, he was obviously years ahead the student.
From the looks of it, the stranger needed help getting a kite out of the tree. “Sure, it’s better than what I’m doing right now,” Not suspecting that a grown man would be still playing around with kites, Masaki thought; ‘’Getting a kid’s kite stuck out of the tree for them huh? It’s cliche but I guess it’s a noble act. Looks like I should be giving my ‘Prince’ title to this guy,”
He lightly joked with himself as he walked up beside the black knight. “Let me guess, you want one of us to push the other towards the higher part of the tree, right?”
at this point, Suzaku was sure he would have accepted any explanation to this. upon further study, it was clear they were not close enough in appearance to be identical twins, per se, but passersby probably would have deemed them to be siblings.
still, it was odd. in a city where phenomena happened that was sometimes never explained, he didn’t have high hopes on getting an answer. after all…didn’t people sometimes say that everyone had someone in the world that shared like features?
“Well… I don’t think it’s anything we have to worry about too much. The worst I can think of is someone mistaking one of us for the other, which would just be humorous.”
he paused, scratched the back of his head, and offered up a friendly smile.
“I’m Suzaku Kururugi. It’s nice to meet you.”
“Likewise, I’m Masaki Ichijou. I’d be worried if we shared a similar name too,”
The student introduced himself with a handshake towards Suzaku. Despite the awkward situation, this fellow seemed to quite well-mannered. Not that Masaki had suspected the other of being cautious or anything of them sort. Though they may have been worried over this sort of thing.
Masaki himself was decent when it came recovering the atmosphere as he was used sometimes heated high-class society gatherings. “Well it’s like I’ve managed to gain many acquaintances throughout this place, so there’s no need to worry about that. Though I don’t think I can say the same for you though. Have you gotten to know a certain degree of people?”

{ ♚ } A low hum came out of the lioness, white feline ears gave a small twitch, and a lion tail to follow with such movements as it swayed back and forth. “ This is quite interesting… “
She would say softly to herself as she looked at a couple of items within her hands. It was just a simple run into the city to buy some food, yet she would find herself getting distracted by other materials. Such as books, some other studying materials, and also other things. Of course she was mainly focused on the books as Leo did indeed love to learn about new things and study about them.
Crouching down to a bottom shelf, she would grab out one of the books. As she opened the book and started to flip through it’s contents a little quickly, a sudden feeling sprang up from her tail to her. It was a feeling that had occurred a couple of times, needless to say, it was a rather large jolt of pain. With the sudden shot of pain the lioness would let out a yelp as she shot up quickly and grabbed her poor tail that was hurt.
“ Please! Watch where you are walking, it does not go well if you don’t watch your steps! “
“Ah forgive me!,”
Masaki apologies for his lack of carefulness. Honestly it wasn’t as if it was usual for him to watch out for tails belonging to humans, but that was of course no reason for his mistake. The boy had simply been preoccupied walking along the side walk gazing at the young woman’s feline ears.
He’d seen many things in this city, though a lot of it seemed out of date from his world, there were still a lot of things that suprised him. For instance was thing girl that seemed to come straight out of a fantasy book. Then again, Masaki was a Magician, his own existence could be said out of a fantasy book.
Though, as it would be rude to speak of her features, the student thought it would be best not to comment on it.
“My apologies, I was distracted and wasn’t watching my step. Well that’s no excuse for my mistake, here let me grab that for you,”
Feeling guilty, Masaki took it about himself to pick up the book she had dropped and handed it to her. “I didn’t do any extreme damage did I?”

perhaps it was just him, but for a split second, he could have sworn he saw himself. upon a lengthier glance, however, he saw that this person was a stranger– albeit one with a shockingly similar countenance to his own.
staring with his mouth gaped open like a fish was rude, admittedly, so he made haste in apologizing.
“Oh, um… Pardon me.”
“........Ah...no, my apologies,”
Masaki replied, to the stranger before him. At least he thought this gentleman was a stranger anyways. The Magician couldn’t help stare at the short-haired boy and like-wise seemed to be the case for the other.
“Trust me, I understand your circumstance. I’m surprised myself at how similar our facial structures, I was pretty drawn in.”
He added, feeling eerie on the situation. He knew well there was no secret brother that was hidden from him by the Ichijou Clan, his parents were not the type. There was the chance of this being a clone, but well he doesn’t remember giving up any DNA, that meant...
“Well, with so many multi-verses coming together, I suppose it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that there are people that look incredibly similar. Still....it’s a bit baffling..,”

Exiting a store and stretching his arms, Masaki took notice of something. Or rather it was that his eyes couldn’t help but have it’s attention taken away. A young man with blond hair and a flashy outfit one would think is pretty high priced, passed by Masaki on the side walk.
Taking a sudden interest, the Magician opened his mouth and spoke to the stranger without a moments hesitation. “With flashy attire like that, I have to wonder if these scientists kidnap celebrities too,” he joked, or atleast he thought he was. There may have been a possibility thiis person actually was one. Not that it excited Masaki or anything, he had been accustomed to meeting high-class people in his world.
“If you don’t mind me asking, that kind of style can draw a lot of attention can’t it? Don’t you find it a little bothersome?” he wasn’t afraid to ask the question on his mind.

”Masaki made his usual rounds to get a further feel for this foreign city. From the looks of it, he wouldn’t be going anywhere anytime soon. So the ‘prince’ thought it would be wise to make due and try a different approach.
Considering that beings from different types of universes gathered here, it would be pretty difficult to find someone similar to yourself from your own dimension. But looking at it a different way, someone that stood out would be easier to notice./small>
The teen had hoped to find anyone else that had come from his own dimension, and the way to do that was to tirelessly ask around. Yes, it wasn’t exactly the quickest and most efficient method, but with such little resources, he had little choice.
Masaki came across a seated man with blond hair and blue attire. Although they didn’t seem very full of life, Masaki decided to give it a shot either way,
“Pardon me, if I could borrow your time, would you happen to have come across any individuals that use techniques such a magic, refer to themselves as Magicians, or Magic Technician,” he had hoped to get some lead,

A Day At The Mall

When you’re walking through a mall there are bound to be many citizens around. Still, it shouldn’t be hard to get on with your business and move along with everyone else. That was what Masaki thought as he walked around the foreign mall he had only just entered. Yet, he wouldn’t be allowed to get a moments peace as he had hoped.
“Are you a model?” “I love your hair,” “Do you have a girlfriend?”
Those were the type of questions he was bombarded with after being caught inside a small group of girls and some males that surrounded him. It wasn’t hard to tell that he got noticed for his good looks and as such got approached by this group of mostly women.
“Sorry, I’ve only just became a citizen here recently I-”
“I’ll be glad to show you around!” “No, I’ll show you places you can never imagine!”
Masaki was quite use to being approached for this sort of thing at school. It was almost an everyday occasion back at school, still, that didn’t mean it was always easy.
Glancing over, the boy caught sight of a young girl surrounded by a group of guys. A very similar situation to himself. They didn’t seem to mean any harm, but Masaki was well aware what kind of hassle that sort of thing can be. Thinking on his feet, the Magician smiled and called out,
“Oh, there you are, darling!”
The sudden call caused all the parties to give attention to him Struggling a bit through the small crowd, Masaki walked over and took the girl’s hand without a hint of hesitation or nervousness. “I was look all over for you. You can’t keep your boyfriend lonely for too long. Come on,”
That was of course, all a lie. This girl, was afterall a complete stranger and he didn’t even know her name. Yet after seeing her in that kind of problem similar to his own. Masaki thought it would be a good plan to hit two birds with one stone. So, the prince-like highschool boy came up with the simple lie of them being a couple in order to get rid of the crowds’ interest in them, Hopefully this girl would play along with him.
By appearance the other showed nothing of particular interest; A standard appearance, no large weapons ( or their watered down equivalents ) that some others he’d seen sporting, even his form of speech was standard. So naturally, Hibari expected little to nothing out of him. In all honesty, Hibari had assumed to land one hit on him before he’d make a run for it– This is his mistake, being a fool and allowing his anger to run rampant with assumptions. Not thinking any of what things he’d seen in his short traverses through the city thus far, howhe’d gotten here himself and how others from many strange other places were brought here just the same.
It’d be unfair for those scientists to bring many more people of normal attributes to their well constructed dollhouse. And boring too, completely dismiss the whole point of the social experiment!
So surprise surprise surprise when the well-versed Magician managed to pull something out of his hat for Hibari. A large portion of comprehension for Masaki’s words were lost in the charge of anger the Cloud had taken, but what little had been taken hit hard when retaliation of defense had been taken on the other’s part. A hard stance was met with Hibari’s slide, un-moving, and producing a gun as protection. There’s only a split second to react, body seemingly frozen in time as he thought. Move. Immediately away, but the aim had been to get away from the gun– not the previously unseen kick. Switching the original intention of changing to the opposite arm for landing a hit on Masaki, to protection. Taking the blunt of the kick as an alarm, and giving Hibari sign and time to return a few steps back.
It only took a few more seconds for everything to register in Hibari’s mind,”Maybe you’re not just some small herbivore…” an instant flick of his interest and expression. Guns are boring, but with how this man holds himself, he gave off a aura of something else. Something beneath that could prove to be lots and lots of fun ~♪
Disappointing that Hibari has been so stripped of his abilities, if this guy does truly hold something within, but anger is still anger. And this guy having something waiting could hopefully soothe it as much as possible,”This could be fun then,” no more acknowledgement to be expended, Hibari once again came forward with speed not thinking about how much weaker his weapons have become. Wanting to land some hit to Masaki’s right side for disrupture, but completely ready to switch and go for a blow to his left instead of showing another defensive stance,”Try to last a while,”
Upon Masaki making his counter, Hibari had made a desperate strike in retaliation. The Magician hadn’t expected the sudden attack and could only slight move back, but it wasn’t enough, as the enemy’s wooden tonfa smacked against the tip of the boy’s chin. “Agh!” he grunted as he back pettled away. Despite his opponent being pushed backwards and not being able to land the full front of his blow, Masaki felt he had taken more damage than he should have from such a light hit.
“You’re not too bad yourself,”
The student countered back while rubbing his chin. Thankfuly nothing was dislocated, or else he would have found himself in deep trouble. Though he didn’t have much time to think, as his foe was already going in for the next move. “I think it’ll be fun alright, but don’t go crying when it’s too much to handle!”, the young genius charged forward as well to be meet his foe halfway. Seeing the first strike coming, Masaki, lowered his upperbody and evaded the attack.
The Magic Tactician made his move, swinging the hard metal side for Hibari’s head. At the same time his opponent made another strike. Masaki raised his right arm in an attempt to block the incoming swing, but something happened.
“ACK!?” A sudden jolt of pain entered his side once Hibari’s strike made contact with his arm. The hit, so strong, stopped Masaki’s attempt to attack and knocked him to the side. Seeing an unfavorable situation, the boy rolled a few feet away. “What the- he’s strong!! Is this some sort of enhanced strength!?” he thought to himself, while holding his pained shoulder. “From what I heard, once you enter this city, you have your abilities limited...which means this isn’t even your true strength is it? heh,” the teen commented as he stood to his feet.
“If that’s the case then I can’t take you lightly anymore,” while saying that, the tension grew, and Masaki raised his red gun CAD towards Hibari. Once he pullled the trigger, what came out was not a bullet, but rather several activation sequences of magic gathered instantaneously. What appeared was something like a magic circle in front of his gun, which released a compressed blast of air.
The aim was not at Hibari himself, but rather his feet. As even if he did dodge his Air Bullet , the blast radius of the impact should be enough to catch him, right?
shisubekishishi:
Any one of the few herbivores that had chosen to mistakenly crowd around what was now, insultingly, his home were not precisely targeted. Despite the larger amount of anger that loudly commanded to destroy the things of these credible scientists, the first swing had still served as a more than forgiving warning. Plenty of room and chance for , as far as Hibari thinks, any lower grade person to manage to dodge still without a scratch or bump.
All of them seemed to have had, actually. Without a single body met to stop the swing he’d mindlessly taken in his frustration, but not all had run under his angry pleas. One person declared a reason to give pity, to have mercy.
Unacceptable.
Hibari’s curved body reformed back to a much more sharp position, once again ready to pounce.. but this time, with a target in sights,”I don’t care,” Hibari could only assume himself just as new, if not newer, than this boy,”…”what’s worse, this little herbivore thought he could actually draw blood from his body.
“I’ll make sure that I cause enough damage that the scientists will take you into proper care,” an assurances of recovery ( since these scientists are such miracle workers ) for the person he expected to see in a useless pile soon.
Without anymore useless growls of threats, the disgruntled Cloud slid forward again. Intending to force his wooden replacement straight to the side of Masaki’s head.
He’s a stubborn one isn’t he? Masaki almost said that out loud, which would have probably only enticed this guy further. Well not like it mattered either way, as this fellow only seemed more inclined to beat the Magician senseless. Maybe Masaki should have chose his words more carefully, but even he wasn’t sure himself if that was his real intention in the first place.
“I’m not sure if the one with the bad luck here is me or you, but it looks like this can’t be helped,” he far too easily gave up on his intention as peacekeeper. If this guy was being so headstrong, there was no helping what’s the come right? Was what he thought to himself, but at the same time, the was a clear confident smile on his face.
‘From the looks of it, he’s focused on close-quarters combat and is skilled with those Tonfas. I might specialize in long-range myself but i’m certainly no sloucher when it comes to martial arts!’
“Don’t blame me for what’s to come then!”
Masaki stood his ground as the black-haired assailant slid forth with a swing to his temple. At the same time, Masaki reached and pulled out his CAD that was of course shaped as a slick red pistol. With that movement, he knocked away the incoming arm with his elbow and pointed the CAD literally a few inches away from Hibari’s face.
But Masaki’s smile brazened. He did not pull the trigger, instead he spun a kick towards his enemy’s midsection. Any normal person would have atleast halted a second or two if a gun had suddenly been pointed in their face. That was what Masaki hoped on in order to gain the opening for his kick.
Crowding——- How absolutely agitating; Getting thrown into a highly regulated cage after being stripped of not only pesky Vongola adornment’s powers but his very own strength and well seasoned tonfas… These ‘Scientists’ are far from being his favorite group of persons, the solo homing system not being enough to make up for their crimes. ( As if they had done that personally for him. ) It’s only left him in a spoiled mood, and all these passerbyers of what he thought would be his own closed off privacy weren’t helping to soothe the ruins of his attitude.
It gave him more than half the mind to start swinging— and he did. Lashing out, a single strike to the newest stranger, with wooden replacements of his once highly reinforced tonfas. Any of the short lived patience he would have normally for grouping herbivores is gone right now, and he wants all of them cleared out this instance.
“Leave now,” it’s not a dismission, or a denial of someone’s presence, it’s a demand. One that Hibari expects to be followed through on without any lip,”Or I’ll bite you to death,”
“Hm,” This was quite a bit of trouble, Masaki thought to himself as he walked down the sidewalk. Already he was strolling casually amongst these strangers despite only literally just having arrived. Well this was the smartest move, was what he thought, afterall, the boy didn’t have anyway of knowing what his capters were capable of. If they had enough power to restrict them of his magic, then he best lay low for awhile.
That was what he thought anyways, but Masaki of course found it difficult to keep himself under control. He burned with the desire to violently force his way back home with some hard persuasion to those scientists. Of course that wasn’t the brightest move to make, he didn’t even need George to tell him that.
However, there were others that thought differently.
From his right, what looked to be a wooden tonfa came hurling for his head. He didn’t have time to think, upon reaction, Masaki instinctively pivoted backwards in the knick of time to just narrowly dodge the swing.
“I don’t mind leaving, but that’s a little uncalled for don’t you think?! I only just entered this city. I’d rather not have to hurt an innocent person already!”
