Ah, great—maybe he really should have just kept his big mouth shut, huh? A sigh leaves the younger; fingernails scratching the back of his his head as he takes a swig from his Wu Lou, watching Necalli from the corner of his eye—you now, just in case.

“Like I said, I don’t taste good. Is cannibalism a Ben good for your body?” Jamie wiggles the Wu Lou in his hand. “You like fermentation? Booze? Any of that stuff? You don’t seem like the type!” There’s a shrug of his shoulders before he clips the bottle back onto his hips, shoulders rolling before he gets his hands up—head cocked to the side. Would he turn down a fight? Of course he wouldn’t.

“Mr.Top Player has arrived! Come at me!”

His stomach lurched with the pungent scent of that drink within the fighter’s wu lou that he could pick up, perhaps due to the fact that he was practically starved- or maybe the drink just smelled foul to the hungry beast. Either way, if he was going to get a meal, then he would do whatever it took. Especially if it involved one of his favorite things.

“Cannibal...ism...? That would require me to be human-an-an...” He seemed to humor the comment, something he rarely ever did.

“Your fee... feeble attempts to unnerve will only result in your demise-ise-ise.” He rose from his hunched, all-fours position and stood upon the balls of his feet, staring intently at the young fighter.

“GRRRAAH!!”

With a swift motion, his arms were as swiftly impacting the ground as they were raised to the sky, the shockwave being sent in Jamie’s direction to launch him upward.

The beast looked at the young, spry fighter with a hunger- practically almost salivating at the raw qi that lay within him. A warrior so... immature surely could not have such a succulent soul. And yet, that is exactly what stood before him. Be on your guard- his ridiculous attempt at conversing could be a ploy to catch you unawares. "...Who are you to decide who, or wha... what I make my meal...?"

Kage lets out a snort as he thinks, ‘regrets’ what a stupid concept. kage had none, or at the very most, hardly any. but the question did get his attention for a little bit, and it’s quickly returned to necalli “do you have any regrets?”

It appeared they both had interest in the other, curiosity piqued between the inhuman duo as the stare-down of the century came to a close. 

“I have many, though yours must be immense.” His frame shifted, tilting his head. “Due to your former traces of humanity-ty-ty...”
