So it ain't stupid that I ain't allowed to see the closest person I ever had to havin' a mother no more, just cause I gotta get permission from her son who ain't been seen for years? 'Cause that sounds kinda stupid to me

That’s ridiculously stupid of them. If no-one’s seen him, why would they bother putting him as the point of reference?

Gotta go by next of kin, since she's too sick to make decisions for herself, kinda. Besides I ain't technically related or nothin' so I can't do much 'less I get in contact with him.

Kinda is. I gotta track this guy down. Last I heard her son was in Europe and that was a few year ago, ain't no one seen him in a long time.

I dunno, I can't go see her no more until her proper son says I can go see her.

She was one of the people that looked after me when I was growing up. Was gonna adopt me proper too, but then she got sick

Oh, that’s tricky. Does this person want to see you? Maybe’s there’s a retraining order or something involved.

Well they always wanted to see me before, but now they can't make the choice themselves. Her for real son's gotta make that decision, but ain't no one seen him for years
