Deana rolled her eyes with a wide smile on her face when she heard him say he had plans. “I’m glad I called too. I’ll see you in a bit.” She hung up the phone, setting it down on the coffee table before she hurriedly began to clean up the mess of DVD’s and her dinner bowl. Despite the amount of times Mason had come over when her house was a mess, she still felt the need to make it a lot neater than he knew she was. She quickly washed her dishes and practically tripped going to her room to brush out her hair from the pony tail it’s been in all day. She was sporting black pajama shorts with a little heart on the corner and a burgundy pull over hoodie. 

Turning off the lights behind her, she went back to her living room and sat back on the floor in front of the movies with her hands in her sleeves. Her eyes darted through each shelf and she still couldn’t narrow down her choices. She began to tap her fingers on the floor, anxious about Mason coming over. 

Driving out of his garage, Mason smiled to himself. Even though he never understood what was going on between him and Deana he enjoyed her company, even if it was for a little while. He had hoped while he was there they would have nothing but a good time and catch up with each other.

Mason parked and front of the girl's house and walked up to the door. He sighed quietly and knocked on his door, impatiently he hummed to himself and waited for to open the door. Then a smile appeared on his face as she appeared in front of him "Well Deana Clarke we finally meet again." He laughed lightly and hugged her.

Movies is good enough. But do you got to parties? If that happens you should get your mom help, or get her a dog.

Happy New Years / Mason and Deana

Deana sighed as she set aside a stack of DVD’s and laid down on her living room floor. It was the night before New Years Eve and she was bored out of her mind. There was no way she was going to do any of her neglected homework yet, especially at this hour. She got up and walked down the hall to see if her parents were still awake, but luckily they had a decent sleeping schedule. Silently closing their bedroom door, she pulled out her phone and scrolled through her contacts until she found Mason’s number.

She was so comfortable around him; and in her mind, there was no one else who knew her best. The relationship they had was always a see-saw between being a couple and not. Something always brought her back, but something always took her away. Tapping call, she waited for him to pick up. “Hey, Mason. I know it’s a little late, but do you want to come over and watch a movie?” She asked nervously, pulling at the ends of her pajama shorts.

Yawning to himself quietly, Mason began to walk around his house trying to find something to do--play video games, listen to music or watch a movie. Everything wasn't working or seemed to boring. It was one of those nights he just wanted a little company but no one in his family was home and all of his friend wasn't picking up. He walked upstairs to his room and fell unto his bed, just as he was about to close his eyes his phone began to ring. Deana? It was late and he never expected her to call, especially at this time of night .

"Uhh, I don't know. It depends on what movie--I had some plans." He said jokingly as he got up from his bed, walking down the steps to grab his jacket and keys. "But I'm glad you called. You actually have perfect timing, I was looking for something to do, so I'll be there soon." He smiled as he walked out the door.
