Coffee Date || Deana & Chase
Chase looked through his clothes for a few minutes before finding a sweater that he thought would be okay to wear. He grabbed his phone from his nightstand and started down the stairs to look for his car keys, which he found a few minutes later on the kitchen counter. He grabbed his coat and shouted out to his mom that he was leaving before walking out the door and getting into his car and driving off.
It didn’t take long for him to get to Deana’s house now that he had been there once before to pick her up so after a few minutes he had parked in her driveway and had walked out of the car towards her front door. He reached out and knocked on the door, patiently waiting for his date to come out.
Deana pulled a beanie on over her head and took one last glance at her outfit, nodding in approval. She was flattered that Chase wants to take her on another date, but she couldn't shake that feeling whenever someone showed flattery towards her. She grabbed her phone, house keys, and a couple dollars just in case off her desk. Walking over to her dresser, she applied on some spearmint chapstick before slipping it into her jacket pocket.
From the last time Chase came over, it wouldn't have taken him long to get to her house; so it wasn't surprising when she saw that he was already there. "Hey." Deana smiled, her warm breath showing as it escaped her lips. She wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace. "Do you want to walk to Sally's? It's not that far of a walk from my house."
