         she almost flinches at his words. they cause phin to FALTER just a bit. HOMESICK… how she missed HOME : her FAMILY – HER BROTHER. things changed after miles moved from brooklyn. she didn’t even realize she had MISSED miles as much as she did until the dinner… this REALLY sucked. what a way to REUNITE, right ? she turns her head away, not wanting him to see any tears that may be forming. ❝  i’m sorry that we reunited only to be put against each other… but i CAN’T BACK DOWN. not anymore.  ❞ quickly, she wipes her eyes with the back of her hand, exhaling a bit. how she WISHED she didn’t learn his identity. a hand in placed on his shoulder, a tight SQUEEZE as she continues.

         ❝  PLEASE don’t interfere. i need SOME place to call home when i’m done.  ❞ she gives him a shaky smile before dropping her arm. her hand falls on her side as she turns to walk away.
