As someone who used to be a HUGE fan of Marilyn Manson for basically all of my teenage years… looking at his fandom now, it’s kind of shocking how much they treat this creepy middle-aged man who doesn’t give a fuck about them like an actual cult leader. Like, MAGA levels of “he never did that, and if he did he didn’t mean it like that, and if he did then it’s ok, and if it’s not then he never did that.” Honestly, every once in a while, I feel tempted to listen to his music again, but then I just think about how deeply evil he is in a way that bleeds into every aspect of his image and makes it utterly impossible to “separate art from the artist” (whatever that fucking means).

First of all, don't ever compare the Manson fandom to MAGA ever again.

Second of all, we believe Manson is innocent because of the evidence that has been made available by multiple parties on his side proofing his accusers wrong (unlike said accusers who have not provided anything in almost 6 years)

Third of all, we don't blindly believe Manson is an "uwu baby angel whose never done anything wrong in his life" because that is not true. He's done bad things in his life, and stuff i don't agree with (for example, I believe he should not have dated erw because of the age gap). However, the good that Manson has done has outweighed the bad.

All in all, its clear you didn't do any actual research into the case and only listened to one side because it suited you.

Also, its funny how the 2 comments on this post were blocked or removed, clearly you don't like it when someone challenges your flawed views.
