I found out he was 18 and was the victim of a hit and run while walking down the 101. He was from Australia. I'm doing better. Still messed up and finding it hard to focus on work. People ask me how I'm doing and I, of course, tell them that I'm fine. They ask me how my weekend was and I can't tell them what I saw Halloween morning. I know this feeling will pass, so I patiently wait, pretending to be normal in the meantime.
