It's funny how a lot children's TV shows based on Alice in Wonderland try to add some sort of moral, since Lewis Carroll wrote the Alice books as an antithesis to the sort of moralizing literature of the Victorian Era. I feel like if you wanted to make a TV show that captures the spirit of the Alice books, you'd basically have to make what amounts to "G-rated Smiling Friends."

Now, this is NOT to say that I don’t love my nieces and nephew…

But I suffer from Anxiety and sever Sound Overload (when you can’t handle too much noise at once.) Not to mention that my hearing is slowly getting bad; so when the kids are screaming and sorta getting out of control, I’m forced to stay in my room. (NOT BECAUSE I WANT TO, BUT BECAUSE I CAN’T HANDLE ALL THE DAMN SCREAMING AND CRYING.)

So it was nice to have SILENCE while it lasted…
