Sun and Moon come together to form a new moon especially in Cancer that throws a light on our emotional life as we begin again in light of information we have received that we did not see before in the past few days of Mercury Rerograde in Cancer as well. Looking back portion of retrograde is over & planning ahead, what replaces that emotional space begins. This is not the first time this topic went through review before you can finally let go of an emotional issue or personal problem thats lingered almost all of 2025 starting with Mars retrograde in first three months of 2025 possibly causing off & on conflicts. Feminine and Masculine parts of our psyche merge in a way whereby light is thrown on how our personal & emotional life is serving or not serving our external life. Everything under the attic has been coming to surface over two weeks as Mercury went retrograde on 29 June leading us to review how we have handled communication in personal matters or just how we have handled listening to our own inner needs during the course of rushing forward trying to bandage various situations. Some of us do not like to sit with our emotions but due to delays or just physical strength lacking we might have been forced to. This is the most personal of the new moons as our most delicate parts of life are changed - relationships, family ties, place of living, our relationship with children, inner peace, our relationship with the country we were born in. Reminds you without inner satisfaction, external gratification is well external - it lives outside of yourself for others not you.

Who or what fills our cup when no one’s watching…

Mercury is retrograde during this new moon - this weekend it will meet Sun in inferior conjunction. You cannot fully evolve an idea till Mercury goes direct on 23 July as information in bits and pieces that you didn’t know before will keep coming to surface out of your own subconscious. Facts and emotions so ignored while trying to rush forward will keep presenting to yourself in dreams, in writing, in discussions to you. This is truly mind is a trickster realisation time when you realise the fake things you have told yourself about you. This is natural cycle of life, whereby after a period of hyper activity we truly see things coming to awareness stage as action slows. This weekend as Mercury comes to meet Sun - it’s a key checkpoint - like someone reporting to authorities what they missed to see earlier when they reported an event due to rush of adrenal of the moment. Saturn is in Aries and it will continue to make square to Cancer planets all the way to 2028 so emotional distress unfortunately or if I am pushed to say something good - emotional maturity & resilience has to be shown during Cancer season - more than ever. So you are required to own part you played in the making of an emotional mess if thats what you are reporting. This weekend with the inferior conjunction - you allow the acceptance of what new facts have shown you. Slowly reconnect your will and your emotions together so you can move forward from a past. Progress is in reflection. But you can’t birth without a seed & seed is what we initiate here. Reviewing part is done & re-orientation begins - you know denial, anger, acceptance … we are reaching acceptance or will reach acceptance this week. We become comfortable that no one knows everything, dreading a future that has not passed is unfruitful but may be if we accept where we are we could pave the way forward from there. From here we usually start initiating in terms of research, finding new paths, new solutions to old issues while still past stuff keeps coming up subconsciously. But it’s usually best to wait till Mercury is direct on 23 July onwards to take conclusive action or commit to new initiatives, new homes, family changes etc. But exciting looking forward part of home, family, real state, comfort is about to begin !

After about two years of Mercury retrograde in fire signs this year we have Mercury retrogrades in water signs just like 2019 & specifically like Jun-Jul 2020 in Cancer though not same degrees. Water Mercury retrograde forces us to re-examine our emotional responses to stressful situations & in a way makes it very important for us to look at communication in our personal relationships - how well we are communicating to others what we need in relationships. The link between our psychological needs and physical events in our life becomes very tightly linked. These are periods of intense emotional, spiritual & personal evolutions in our lives. We clearly see the patterns we have outgrown. Lessons from last retrograde six years ago still come into play & add to our current experience. Our emotional balance is challenged in a way - we seem to not be able to run from facing & taking responsibility of how we feel as they manifest as physical complications. Like being locked in a room with your spouse during the pandemic without the distraction of outer world or a physical health manifestation of emotional stress or separation due to lack of communication in a relationship. Old associations, emotional ties & patterns they are reviewed to see if they would work for your next six years.

What we ignore is bound to reoccur - it’s a six year cycle & it can keep showing us same outcomes every cycle if we choose to ignore the emotional growth it offers. Sometimes you find yourself baking the same sourdough you baked during the lockdown cause you just liked the safety of just being home with that for a while. You revisit old comfort zones - not to return but just to steal a moment of peace you once felt in them to have strength to do tougher things. I say it often but you need to be kind to yourself during these times as we are simply over sensitive to environments & triggers. Overreaction to words, reactions & anxiety is normal as you discover new coping mechanisms to thrive emotionally in the new environment you are about to enter. Psychological traits that we have inherited from our family, our country of origin or just from our childhood - we tend to be faced with it to be sure if they are serving us in the adult life. Not facing our role in miscommunication of emotions in relationships is on top of chart on it. Fight or flight responses when faced with tough personal circumstance is another. We repeat the heart break from back 6-7 years sometimes over something which highlights how we handle our personal life or emotional expression.

Mercury is a teacher here due to Saturn influence & we seem more open to learning in this vulnerability. Window is brief though as soon we would be racing ahead again leaving many corners untended to which would hurt like a small pebble in shoe slowing us down & hurting if we speed. So don’t ignore your needs & what you are being told you need. The new moon is at the degree of expectancy - we might have to shed some layers of protection we put on may be during the last cycle six years back which has outlived its purpose today. Like we were kids again on a quest to an unknown excitement - this very volatile meeting shakes us up to our naive self.

Yes this aspect is very definition of mind blowing while symbol of our mind is retrograde - we seem to be in a slumber looking for old comfort all gone. It seems during all that water - we are meant to rediscover the fun of discovery. Of why we got on the quest to start with.

We have had Uranus shaking up our intimate partnerships for past seven years - probably brought some out of norm & non conventional people into our life both testing our existing guard rails as well as testing if we want more in a partnership. Do we want more out of our commitments ? Stability in partnerships is baseline for Scorpios, it’s not the gravy on top, it’s the whole damn dish. So when planet of sudden changes arrived in our partnership houses in 2018, all our professional and personal commitments were tested for truth. Cause sometimes we can be committed to the wrong job or person for far too long even if it’s not our truth.

So when you give yourself permission to vibrate at your natural frequency - do we still honor the code or codes are broken. What comes from it is a string of I do not know if I want to be here but I also do not know where I want to be ? Seven years of seemingly wondering in the wilderness of trying who or what is for you / who or what you want to commit to. It’s not just about intimate relationships - it’s about every single commitment in life. It makes one lonely when you only want to live by the code of truth and truth only in partnerships cause let’s accept it amongst us weirdos that most causal relationships are fake. So a lot got shaken off mostly by your own violation whether you believe it or not. It’s not the others that changed. You just didn’t want to live “that” anymore - whatever your past “that” was.

So now after this highly charged seven years when Uranus moves into the house you do not even want to externally acknowledge belongs to you - what will you do ? It’s the highest form of self abandonment I have seen in a zodiac. What to do if one is put in the position where you have to show your powerful side that you try to hide in a way to make everyone digest you. This is the house of kundalini release - whats released through events of these seven years are passions, emotions, even toxic traits as well as powerful traits we wish to hide from the light so we can make nice. Uranus frees one from inhibitions in a way nothing else can.

Our house of transformation is ruled by zodiac sign of words, of communication - it’s where we would like to express topics that are difficult both psychologically and intellectually through our words - spoken or written. Skill to simplify tough topics in finance, astrology, life after death, technology can put you in transformative positions, you would normally not be comfortable with due to the spotlight it attracts. These are intense mentally stimulating subjects which only you can master and tackle yet you have never had the guts to speak up and own them. Uranus frees the inhibition to put yourself out there - not in a pompous fashion but in powerful fashion. It seems your prosperity and health depends on speaking your words & owning your skills. It can also release us from toxic commitments & substances we have not been able to break ties with but it has been unhealthy both physically & psychologically for us - surgical cut.

Sometimes the seventh house transit of Uranus which we just had for past seven years makes this the next logical step as a flow of life. Once you realise one kind of partnership is stable but stale for you - you look for excitement & after potentially kissing frogs - you discover what level of depth you need in intimacy & you seek that. Once you realise one kind of job is not suitable for future to come & you are wilfully or not so wilfully removed from it - you realise you always wanted to do something more fulfilling & possibly more profitable even if monetary benefits aren’t consistent. Once you realise you would like to change who or what you commit to - how you show up in mutual partnerships in future - that totally shifts the power dynamics in partnerships where you start saying what you truly want vs accepting status quo. One thing is for sure, it’s very tough to put the jeanie back in the bottle even if at this stage of perceived calm you might make yourself believe that the storm has passed. The itch will keep itching cause it’s a symptom not the root. You cannot become tolerant of what you realise was not even worth tolerating.

Sudden inheritances, marriage shifts, intimacy changes, sexual experimentation, unique business partnerships, physical surgery to look different are just surface level cookie cutter explanations you will hear. But it’s nothing external - you are disassociating from your past thinking that you cannot transform like that in a minute & just be all you wanted to be. Very out of element from a fixed sign & why we will feel so out of our skin doing it while being compelled to do so.

Each time you try a new gadget, a new tech, a new skill, a modification on what you thought is your next best idea - each of those times will change you, your mind, your voice, your brain, your will power. Till you reach a stage where you do not know why you know what you know.

Let yourself take in the information, you will be surprised how much Uranus will shift how you think and how much intuition you let in over next seven years, how much you start trusting your own gut / instinct over things, how it becomes second nature to you. Thinking is non linear, it’s meant to be. Allow movement of the body, expression in any form even if right now it doesn’t make sense right now - it will, learn new languages, take the unexpected new trips they will lead to places / people you never imagined. You will learn by being around the right progressive people, you would need to come out of whatever shelter you are hiding in due to pressure of Saturn right now to access them & more importantly to let others see you.

You are brilliant, your mind is unexplored, untraditional forms of learning explored on foot, by hands, by doing, by engaging with people helps more than traditional methods. More self education though versus structured education. This is the house of the smarts but yes we can get scattered making too many notes we can never read, using too many words like I just did. Everyone is impatient as are you but you have the curse or gift of Saturn - you know how to tie it all up in tangible forms and you will. Saturn transit to our sign is death of ego in a way as we are being recreated - better kill it yourself vs anything else - you are a student again & it’s ok to start from the start. No ones going to know what you know by the time you are done cause thats how it goes. You are not creating tomorrow, you are creating your next 30 years so be patient with yourself & your process.
