The Burnt Warehouse is Gone for Good
Just a bit more footage from the conclusion of our #industrial warehouse demolition yesterday. Taken at the end of the day, you can see here how spacious the lot is now with all of the rubble successfully cleared away. This was a very large project, with a number of tools and demolition vehicles employed in its execution. Now that the demo has wrapped up the empty lot is clean and available for new tenants.

The House Demolition Comes to a Close
We've just completed work on the complete #house demolition in East LA. We used a large front loader to knock down most of the house and then went in by hand to get all the details right. The property was entirely removed, including the foundation, and was leveled down to a clean plot of dirt, free of junk and debris. The demolition was done with strict accordance to the city codes, meaning that the space is now completely ready for any future construction.

Wrapping Up Work On the Burnt Warehouse Demolition
Today our crew is in South Central LA finishing up the #industrial warehouse demolition started last week. Just a few days ago this spot was a complete mess. After being badly damaged by a fire there was charred rubble and loose wooden beams everywhere. After several hours of hard work we were able to clear out all of the rubble and begin demolishing the framework itself. The last few pieces are coming down now, but as you can see here, there's hardly anything resembling a warehouse left. It won't be long now till this lot is pristine and empty.

Finishing Up the Pool Demolition
You may remmeber the #pool demolition project that we started last week... Well today it finally came to a close. With all of the concrete successfully removed, our job today was to fill up the hole with dirt and level everything off. We used the yellow compactor machine seen here to stomp all of the dirt into place leaving a solid foundation indistinguishable from the rest of the yard.

Bringing Down the House
Yesterday our crew began work on a complete #house demolition in East Los Angeles. The project will continue through today and finish with the total removal of the residential structure. Using powerful Caterpillar front loaders we dove right in and knocked down the majority of the property. Once the main work of tearing the house down was completed we were able to clean up the massive pile of wood and shingles and get started on the remaining pieces. The foundation will be taken out and the whole property will be cleared of any excess debris leaving a perfectly clean and empty lot.

Removing All of the Wooden Debris
Work is progressing nicely back at the #commercial warehouse demolition in Crenshaw. The majority of the interior has already been stripped away with just a few partitions and supports left standing. This interior demolition project created a huge supply of wooden debris all of which has to be properly hauled off site. Throughout the course of the demolition our crew has been regularly taking out loads of debris to keep the area clear while we work. All of the broken pieces will be sorted out and we will recycle absolutely everything that we can. With big loads of debris frequently coming from jobs such as this, its our duty to ensure that as little as possible ends up in a cluttered landfill.

Clearing Away the Remains of a Burnt Warehouse
This #commercial warehouse in South Central LA recently burned down leaving a big mess to be cleaned up. Master Demolition Inc. was called in to take care of the problem. Right now we are clearing out all of the scattered items and burnt debris. Using bobcat machines to make quick work of it we're dumping everything into large blue bins on site which will later be hauled away and responsibly disposed of. The remaining wood and metal structures will be taken down later today once there is a clear space to work. By this time tomorrow the tattered warehouse will be nothing more than an empty lot.

Working on a Partial Pool Demolition
Today in Walnut, CA the Master Demo team broke ground on a partial #pool demolition. "Partial" demolition is where we break down the walls of the pool, but leave some of the concrete at the bottom. The remaining concrete will be covered up with dirt and compacted to look like the pool never even existed. Partial pool demolition is both cheaper and quicker than complete demolition, which makes it a common preference among our clients. After the work is finished they will be left with leveled out dirt that will blend into the surrounding area and add significantly more square footage to their yard.

Completely Demolishing the Interior of a Warehouse
The Master Demolition Inc. team is currently demolishing the interior of an #industrial warehouse in Crenshaw Los Angeles. We took the remains of what was once a thriving business and converted it to the pile of wooden beams and drywall you see here. Our duties were to gut the interior of the building so that it may be repurposed for other commercial services. The space had been sectioned off with a number of wooden partitions all of which had to come down. The final results will look much different than it does at the moment, with everything cleared away except for the four exterior walls.

Exterior Commercial Demo in Brentwood
This week our crew is in the heart of Los Angeles demolishing a concrete deck on a #commercial property in Brentwood. We employed a number of tools in this project. First we used electric powered concrete saws to cut up the deck into manageable pieces. Then we went through with crowbars and sledgehammers and pried up the loosed concrete. Finally we hauled away all of the debris. All in all the project was completed on time and on budget. The space where the deck used to be is now entirely cleared away and cleaned up, ready for future building plans.

Interior Demolition at the Staples Center
This week our team is in Downtown LA performing #interior demolition services at the Staples Center. We're completely stripping out one of the interior units to repurpose it for an upcoming event. Our work there includes the removal of the walls and ceiling, as well as the demolition of a large concrete ramp. Soon the space will be empty and spotless ready for exciting new events to take place within.

Clearing Away a Burned Shed
When a backyard shed burned down recently Master Demolition Inc. was called in right away to take care of the problem. The #residential structure needed to be knocked down and cleared out. This ended up being a rather quick job, considering the size of the shed. It only required a couple guys to pull it off with the help of a bobcat machine. We broke everything apart and then hauled away the charred wood.

Renovating an Old, Empty Warehouse
In Downtown Los Angeles sits an empty #industrial warehouse. An incredible space that was simply going to waste. The owners decided that it would be a perfect place to have their wedding reception, after a bit of renovation of course! Master Demolition Inc. came through and tore out some of the old industrial features that would no longer be needed. The work included taking down the large fluorescent lights on the ceiling, and demolition of a few smaller walls. The owners are now in the process of converting this warehouse into a proper looking party location.

Selective Bathroom Demolition Services
Part of the Pasadena house project we posted about on Friday included a selective demolition of the #bathroom. Usually associated with renovations, a "selective demolition" just means that not everything was taken out. In this case we took apart the bathroom cabinets, vanity, shower, and tub but left the main structure intact. Working in this fashion is ideal for when a homeowner wants to make layout or design changes to a space. Demolishing only what's necessary will keep the project running faster, and in most cases will end up being a little cheaper!
