I already blew off steam and ranted plenty after watching it, and to summarise..
This is Derision levels of hypocrisy - being an abuse victim is no excuse for bullying, but stalking and obsessiveness are excused by trauma; refusing to let go and move one from your old enemies is petty and a sign of a weak, angry person, but the shows creator can dedicate at least one episode per shows season, to shit on his least favourite character and target a fanbase surrounding her FOR YEARS after her character assassination in canon
I liked Sabrina confronting her abuser and moving on, but it had to be ruined by Marinettes edgy aah laughter and corny zingers in response - you’re NOT taugh, lil bro😭✌️
You could physically see the writing quality taking a deep for this particular episode, which happens every time Thomas pushes his own agenda no matter what
This is JUST a season 5 Chloe ark rehash - this episode serves NO PURPOSE outside those few Lila and Noe involving scenes

I really hate how the fandom defend the existence of Queen of the Dreadzone by saying this episode matters because it shows Sabrina and Marinette moving on from Chloe for good even though they already did that though? like Sabrina threw everything Chloe related into the trash in Daddycop and Marinette didn't gave a fuck about Chloe's bullshit since Origin part 2 so there's no point in making an entire episode about this
It really annoys me how the fandom defend Chloé's writing in seasons 4+, you don't need to like her to admit she was clearly flanderized out of spite
I’m not one to usually salt on the show, but man are the weakest episodes in the latter seasons always the Chloe ones. They always feel like a jab at fans rather than their own actually useful thing that moves the plot and characters along, and I’m soooo sick of it like Astruc give it a REST already!!! You already sent her away! Genuinely so what if a bunch of people still wanted her to have a redemption arc- u are a grown ass man who needs to accept that fandoms will do their own thing like who cares 😭☠️
Initially (despite being a HUGE fan of the core five) I didn’t care much about Chloe’s redemption being abandoned/reversed/never a thing (apparently), at least not as much as other people. It felt more like the writers thought to themselves maybe we shouldn’t excuse bullying and even though I thought it was a little dumb, I was chill with letting them do their thing (esp since Chloe had some racist moments in earlier seasons so tbh I really can’t care as much as some of yall sorryyyy lmfao). But ironically now I DO care for the sole reason it has gotten soooo annoying to watch these patronizing episodes over and over again. Outside of Chloe herself, I feel like these are the episodes that are the most childish and where characters are the most ooc (don’t even get me STARTED on Collusion/ Revolution and the fact all of Paris just let a teenager take over ). And yesss yes I know miraculous is a baby show but I still feel like there’s such a level of unseriousness in the Chloe episodes that is exhausting to sit through.
Idk, I guess I was just super duper excited for this episode since it was hyped up, only for it to rehash things we’ve gone through a million and one times because Astruc is getting bullied by teenagers on Twitter. Shits exhausting man and I hope it’s REALLY done for good now 😞
My thoughts exactly. I honestly didn't like Chloé at first, I only switched up because Astruc's spite is genuinely so annoying & childish. I hate a character because I want to NOT because the writer tells me to over & over again

I thought this episode just pissed me off because I really like Chloé but based on what others said about it, I'm not just biased & it's god awful. Everyone is a mouthpiece & it's exhausting. I was JUST starting to like S6 too

It can't be that everyone in the fandom hates "Act Your Age". On IMDB it's listed as the highest-rated episode. There can be differences between general audience opinion and the fandom's, but it's not normal for it to be so different. To me, several people pretend not to like it just to participate in the fandom, solely because very popular people in the fandom badmouth it.
