Rey grinned at the praise. “I practiced before and after dinner, and Papa helped me.” She told the Master. She smiled when he suggested that she show him and offered her hand. “Okay, I’ll show you!” She told him, wanting to go somewhere that wasn’t a corridor.
[☾] Obi-Wan gladly took her small hand in his, and led them to an unoccupied training room. “Now let’s see what you’ve accomplished, young one.” The Jedi offered a warm smile towards Rey, eager to see how she’s progressed.
“Be careful.” he called out softly, his saber in hand, watching as his elder moved and followed close, but far enough to still watch and remain out of harms way. The animal was ugly, but mighty and Ben had to respect the beast, they both did, if they would want to succeed. “What can I do?” he asks very quietly.
[☾] The hum of his lightsaber mimicked the thrum of his heartbeat in his ears. Steady, present, and strong. Wampas are foul creatures that attacked on sight and are incredibly brutal. Only extreme caution should be taken around these abominations. Obi-Wan found cover behind a crumbling pillar and signaled over to Ben to quietly head in the opposite direction.
“On three, let’s flank the creature.” Obi-Wan whispered. He held his saber tightly and waited until Ben was in position.
Obi-Wan Kenobi… Damn, dude was hot. But that wasn’t what he was here for. He tried to focus instead on understanding what the Force was all about. The question was one he wasn’t quite sure how to answer. What did he mean exactly? “I’m not sure,” he said, clearly confused. “I don’t feel… dark, if that’s what you’re asking.” Poe was a generally happy guy, one who was affectionate and confident, and who was committed to helping the good guys as a pilot.
[☾] A small smile tugged on the corner of his mouth. If Obi-Wan was going to be training him, learning if he was more attracted to the light side or dark side would be a crucial bit of information.
“Excellent,” the Jedi remarked. “The most important thing you need to remember is to contain your emotions. The slightest bit of rage or jealousy can change your entire outlook on the Force. Neutrality is key in maintaining proper balance with the Force.”
“One thing’s for sure, I’m really not a threat to anyone– well…might be a threat to myself, EMOTIONALLY, but that’s not important right now. As for your other questions— my name’s Jan, and that’s not really exactly the easiest thing to explain—”
[☾] “Interesting. I am Obi-Wan Kenobi, since introductions are being made. If you don’t mind me saying, you are quite peculiar. I do mean that in a positive manner. What system are you from, Jan?”

Poe smiled a little, relieved to hear that someone would help him. “Not very long,” he said. “The visions started months ago but I told myself they didn’t mean anything.” But now it was all so overwhelming, he couldn’t pretend anymore that it was normal. He knew he needed help to better understand what was going on with him and how to control it. “What do I call you?” He’d already introduced himself as Poe Dameron, pilot and apparently Force-Sensitive. He had no idea why this was happening to him of all people. He hadn’t expected it nor asked for it. He was perfectly happy just being a pilot.
[☾] Obi-Wan listened attentively as the man, who identified himself as Poe Dameron, explained his situation. “I am Obi-Wan Kenobi,” the Jedi introduced. “The Force is all around us, you see? It manifests itself in many different aspects, but the two ways the Force shows itself most commonly is through the Light and Dark sides. Now, do you feel yourself experiencing a certain emotion more than others?”
“I’m going there to end this war. Wait for me until I return. Thing’s will be different, I promise.”

It started with some weird dreams… visions of some sort. And then an object moving a little without him physically touching it. It was confusing and overwhelming. “Can you help me? Can you teach me?”
[☾] These were all of the telltale signs of someone who was Force-sensitive. Some felt it more than others and depending on the person, it came more naturally. “Of course, I’ll gladly assist you. How long have you been aware of this?”
