Why do you ignore everyone who tries to talk to you That isn't an exo fc?
( I usually ignore obnoxious messages like these, but I’m far too irritated by this point, so I’ll address this anon and any other that might send me the same question in the future.
First of all, if you have a problem, say it to my face. Second of all, believe what you will, but 90% of the interactions I have with Woobin are totally private. You don’t know nearly half of the interactions he has with “non-Exo” faceclaims in my inbox and on AIM. Third, don’t speak on behalf of “everyone” that isn’t an Exo faceclaim, just because I might not have gotten to you.
Fourth, the “Exo” roleplayers I interact with are lovely people with interesting muses, who don’t deserve to be categorized under your generalizations of them. So, I find their muses incredibly interesting. I find them to be wonderful writers. They talk to me. I, as a mun, have a habit of disappearing frequently without notice, and instead of sending me these shallow anonymous messages, they continue talking to me. If I don’t respond to their message, they send another. And another. And another. Each one of them that Woobin interacts with have been ignored plenty more times than you or anybody else that never even tried more than twice. You have no idea. I’m a shitty roleplayer and I’ve left them hanging and/or never responded, but guess what? They still talk to me, they message me everyday, they understand how I am. These roleplayers just happen to have Exo faceclaims, damn it.
Fifth, I’m overwhelmed. I can barely manage my time on this muse and, I’m sorry, but I can’t respond to 30+ messages a day and keep up with every bloody interaction I have going on. Roleplaying’s become so stressful for me for many reasons, one of them being messages like this. I’m always bashed for being an elitist, careless, and even sexist because the friends Woobin interacts with on the dashboard just happen to be male. It’s exhausting. Whatever I do on this account, I’m questioned, accused, and pushed to be the asshole.
It shouldn’t be that way. I shouldn’t even be apologizing, because, in the end, this roleplay blog is mine and I’m not entitled to roleplay with anyone I don’t want to. Hell, if I just wanted to roleplay with Exo faceclaims, why would I bother responding to everyone else? Why would I follow them? If I did, who cares? I don’t owe “everyone” anything. If I log on after an exhausting, terrible day and see messages from muses I’m inspired to respond to—whether or not they be a specific faceclaim—it’s my choice to do so.
Trust me, the hate and stress I get from this muse’s account should have made me quit roleplaying a long time ago, but the people who stay for me, who understand me, and still want to be friends with me regardless of my flaws are who I ultimately care for and talk to. So, please, shut up, because I couldn’t even give two shits about what you think about me anymore, but don’t you dare generalize my friends into a condescending category you label as “Exo faceclaimers”. )
