A letter to my Stranger

I know it was short but it was deep, You should not contact me and then become a short story l write. You should not play on my feelings that it was in chaos and then you came and get easily to catch. I didnt hate you l am just feeling like l am wasting my time. Why l am wasting my time to think of you and always stalk on your FB. But then l know we do not have any future at all.

Listen to me, Stranger l always on denial it is about you.

I may tell that l dont like you or love you but my feelings, my mind always on you. I tried once to disapear on everything to forget you and also l have got my man beside me but still in the middle our kissing your face is show up and ruin everything, i become not in the mood again, I hate it.

Tell me how do l forget you, Even l have someone beside me but it is not enough to relieve all everything of you.

First Day we met, “ Oh it was so nice you hugged me and you told me. “ Okay Tomorrow l will take you everywhere around this country. “

Like seriously it is like you meant it. Then the second day you told me “ Okay just let it be casual and no expetation.

In my heart saying “ What?”

is this guy really bipolar or something why not completely 24 hours he changed his mind. Look, for me l am not really like get into much in relationship like there is expectation. But l just want to have someone who like having same boat with me and totally we have freedom and we could do what we want no matter what people say. Well Fck.. people who will judge that someday l will have travelling around and enjoy doing what l want. Of course l will think about the future and my prince but who knows. we do not know what will happen in the future.

So l do not expect that much l just well sometimes have fun. Why l am little bit having shadow of you. maybe because you are too benching me. You hang me and in the end well never ever will happen. I do not care what you are doing l just feeling like something unfinished between us. Thats why l feel like l still think of you.

your behaviour that showing like you are so quiet well l could say it was like you are hiding something, and yes you are. Look l do not have any problem of that.

and well yes l dont really care. I am just feeling like l do not know.

Maybe this letter will come to you and you realized never ever benching someone when they are weak and easy to catch.

Okay after all bye and have a good day, Stranger l wish we will meet again soon and nothing much talking and get to know more about you, Hello this time as a friend no more.

Mungkin kita memang di takdirkan sebatas itu sebatas kisah yang hanya singkat dan tidak berarti apa apa kamu tidak pernah menjadi miliki, namun mengapa kehilanganmu sungguh aku tak pernah mau aku rasa kamu dan aku sama sama tahu bahwa kita tidak akan pernah bersatu

aku ingin lupa aku ingin lupa perihal cinta yang kau ucap yang hanya kata yang tak bermakna yang membekas jauh di dalam dada aku ingin lupa sungguh aku ingin lupa dua insan yang seperti di mabuk cinta tapi lupa keduanya punya cinta cinta di tubuh orang lain dalam balutan kepalsuan yang tiada tara dalam sentuhan cinta yang hanya sementara dalam tangisan yang memanggil kamu Gila

Aku mengalah bukan karna lemah, aku sadar jika aku bertindak, rasa dan ragamu tak kuat untuk mengkontrolku. Maafkan biarlah hati dan perasaan ini sakit. Demi kau.

Kadang ada dimana rasa tak berasa, dimana rindu tak tertahan dan dimana rasa cinta tak tergantikan. Hanya kamu yang selalu ada dimana rasa ini selalu ada.

OZZIE

Hi, just call me Mastin. So this story started when we met in 2010. well, l remember it was in International school competition in Jakarta. l met a guy his name is..... well just call him Ozzie. So, now between Ozzie and l, it has been almost 10 years we knew each other. Every good and bad thing about us. we knew each other. Now it is 2019 and we almost like still together. l remember we get used to talking a lot even for 5 hours by video call until we fall asleep. it was really like hello computer :D.

we met when we were in the final year of high school and he was really so smart guy l  have ever met. He taught me English, Computer Science and etc. And the important thing is he always gives me good advise for my life. l do remember when l was so childish and he directly calls me and scolds. What did you do that? why you put a status to Scold your friend, This is so cruel, and l was saying. l was so angry with her. Then he advised me by putting a status, then your problem is finish then l said quietly “NO”. 

“Then put it off”. he said.

He offered me if l need kind of help to solve our problem, then l said 

“yes but do not say anything about that.”

The next day he had called me that he texted my friend but she did not reply. and l was like.

“hmmm it is okay, just let it be. “

My phone rang and l got an email about my friend wedding in Bali. 

Well, it is a good plan to make up my stress.

I called him that l will come to Bali next week.

2 Days later

He has called me and told me :

“Hey”

“Hey” 

“Guess what”.

“what?” it was not really usual, he tries to play secret game. 

“ Okay, Check your Whatsapp l sent you a picture”.  he asked

“ Okay”

Then l opened my WhatsApp and l was shocked.

it was like l want to scream loudly.

OMG, OMG, OMG

He sent me his flight ticket to Bali after like almost 10 years then we will meet again. 

Then l called him and confirm it. 

Ozzie is really coming to Bali and spend 5 days there. 

So, it is good news and also it is good for me that when l come to my friend’s wedding at least l have someone around and they will stop to ask me. 

Mastin where is your boyfriend,? where is it? Blah,,,, Bla,, Blahhhh

Ozzie will come after me 4 Hours after l arrived at the airport.

He told me not to book anything yet to stay. Then l said “ OK”

So, I decided to come to my friend’s house in Bali and at night l will pick him up at the airport. 

At the airport, l was so shocked He is so different now with wavy hair, glasses always wear on, tight t-shirt and sneakers

l run on him and it was awkward for the first time, but then l hug him and cry like a baby. 

l mean l was crying because he really comes here.

So, l asked him to come and wait at my friend’s house but he said 

“ No need because l have prepared something for you. “

Then he gave me an envelope. I opened it and it was a villa voucher with a romantic dinner in it. 

l hugged him and said, “ Thank you.”

We really have a good time in Bali.

If you dont love me just go away from my mind, l do not want to wait for your fake promises that might be it will not happen.

STTORYBOOTH MUN GUY

Hey, my name is Mastin. All right here  is my story about my MUN experience in Bangkok, Thailand.

This is my first time joined MUN( Model United Nation). All right two months before the conference l met a cutie girl Priyanka on Fb Group and l started to chat her because l do not have any friends from my country who respond me on my post. So, l texted her and we talked a lot then finally after conference we were thinking to explore around Bangkok and Pattaya. So she said what about we made a group on Whatsapp. All right then that was great idea. And day by day we talked and planed it about the trip. Then they were so many people are join.But l didn’t realize that l will meet a guy who really stole my heart. I can not say his real name but lets just call him Joe. So, Before we were really close, l also didn’t realize that he was in our MUN group but he was removed because he did not join in Pattaya trip. So, before that happened we both did not realize it.  He is so kind but during the conference too, and we were in same room and l just did not realize it is him that now become someone for everything. He can be my friend, my travel partner, my teacher, and all. So, Joe and l were really close because we have similar things. He likes travelling, writing, and independent. We both realized that we lost our father. Really match!

But long distance makes us really hard to meet again. Because he should go for his master around Europe ( l can not say again the country name). l just regret why we did not make it in Pattaya if we knew earlier then might be now we can have a ton of our pictures together. But it was late. So, three days after conference and trip to pattaya l decided to texted him then said. YESSS YOU ARE MINE.

I know and l realize we have so many differences such as language, culture and all. I am lndonesian and He is indian. So, l was thinking these kind of things just let it be and just keep what it should be.

So, Joe lets plan our next travel around countries. Last time he told me after 6 months of his semesters he will come to Bali and travel together. Our Dreams just simple can go and travel together around Countries. We wish it will happen soon.

And last but not least because this MUN in Bangkok l met with so many good people such as Pragati, Kawish, Aditya, Saqlain, tayuib, Pratiska, Rakshith, Zakir, Shreed, Kenyum, James and all. We all travelled in Pattaya it was like really first time we traveller as strangers but yes we made it and rock it. That was precious experience.

How to Study Smarter

We’ve all heard the term, “study smarter, not harder.” Especially if you’re an inexperienced studier, you might think that you might have to study all the material at once before an exam. Not only are you wasting your time, you’re harming your chances of actually doing well on an exam. So, how does one study smarter?

1. Don’t miss your classes- Everyone has fallen into the pitfalls of “attendance optional.” Lecture sucks sometimes, especially if it’s lecture slide heavy, but class is the time to ask questions about the material that you don’t understand or need clarification for. 

2. Set aside time every day to review all your notes- This comes down to scheduling and time management. If you’re like me, you have your classes back to back, which makes it more difficult to review directly after class. I like to schedule a time each night to sit down with my materials from the day and review them and make notations of any questions. After a while, you’ll actually know what you’re learning and retain it much better.

3. Revise, revise, revise- It helps to re-write the key points of a class or subject as a diagram. I like using a mind-map or flow chart, or color coding key elements of the topic. Then you can give it a quick glance before you go into an exam. You can check out my revisions post here.

4. Make a study group- I have a whole post on how to master study groups. You can peruse that here.

Tips:

-Use a planner to better manage your time.

- @emmastudies has a whole lot of printable essentials that I like to use to help organize revisions and effectively plan for exams. I use them all the time and put them in the front of my binder and tape them to my wall so I won’t forget what topics need to be reviewed. Check out her page for printables!

-The syllabus is there for a reason, use it to review materials and take notes from the textbook before the topic is taught in lecture. Here is my post on how to take notes from the textbook.
