maybe in the Robby is bad storyline,

Trinity gets into a verbal argument with him work. It gets so bad that she storms off to the bathroom or outside to calm down and feels herself slipping. Baran follows her out and calms her down, maybe she gets her down in a room for a nap and goes to yell at Robby.

Muahahaha. It’s not exactly what you asked for, but…

Robby was wrong again. Another case, with another little girl. And kf just made her so mad. She had to go away, across the street to the park, her legs tucked under her sitting on the bench. The drop was fast and mean. She cried into her legs. A woman comes up and sits next to her.

“Are you okay, honey?” The woman asked. Her blonde hair and soft face was nice.

“No! Robby’s mean!” Trinity whined out. She didn’t care that this stranger could tell she’s small. She didn’t care that Robby wasn’t her caregiver anymore. He was mean to that girl and mean to her.

“Is robby your daddy? I’m sure he’s just worried for you.” The woman said. Trinity crinkled her nose at that.

“No Robby said I couldn’t call him daddy. I don’t drop with him anymore.” Trinity began to trace patterns on the knee of her scrubs. “I drop with Baran sometimes. She’s really nice.” And suddenly Trinity wants nothing more than Baran to cuddle her. “I want to go with her but don’t wanna be too much”

“Where is she, I’m sure we can go together. I’ll double check and make sure you’re safe, okay?” Trinity knew she wasn’t supposed to go with strangers but the hospital was right across the street so it would probably be fine. She walked with the lady, who asked about her favorite color, toys, ice cream flavor. When they entered through the ER Dana was the first to lay eyes.

“Dr Santos. Who’s this?” Dana asked.

“Dana ‘m little.” She whined. “Wheres ma- Baran.” She caught herself. Good.

“She was just looking for ya Trinity. I think she was- never mind there she is.” Dana said as Trinity walked towards where she saw Baran.

“‘M small Baran. That lady helped me when I ran to the park ‘cause I was mad.” Trinity led Baran to the woman, whose name she still doesn’t know. “Thank you. This is Baran.”

“Thank you for helping her, when I didn’t know where she was I panicked.” Baran shook her hand.

“No worries, Olivia. My girl is a runner to, so when I saw her I just wanted to help.” Olivia gave Trinity a gentle pat on the back, as she yawned. “Looks like someone’s tuckered from the adventure.”

“Yes, it’s been a long day already I think it’s time for a nap.” Baran began to guide, “thanks again! If you ever need anything healthcare wise, come here, I’ll help you all, especially if your girl needs help.”

Baran leads Trinity to the on-call room. “I know you don’t have doggy but will you try to close your eyes and sleep.”

“Baran.. check on the girl in 15.” Trinity’s voice is small and little and so so tired. “Robby said I was wrong but she’s got bruises where they shouldn’t be. And everything else is normal.” Trinity’s eyes drift shut, as quiet snores fill the room.

Baran had someone to check on, and probably a conversation to have with Robby.

Trinity was curled up in her apartment, it was a hard day. She just was so tired, all the kids, the man who yelled at her, and the parents she had to break the news to. She let a small whine escape her lips.

She heard the door open, her thumb tucked between her lips and her legs drawn up to her chest, while she sat on the couch.

“Hey, baby girl.” Parker sat in front of Trinity, eyes meeting hers. Trinity can let nothing out but a whimper. “Do you think you can use your words?”

Trinity shook her head, her throat felt like it was filled with jagged glass.

“Okay, let’s use shakes and nods. Do you feel small?” Parker asked, no cruelty behind her words. Trinity nodded. “Have you eaten?” A shake. “Do you want me to make something?” A tentative nod, mommy knew what she needed, mommy knew what she liked she could maybe eat some.

“Okay kiddo, okay,” Parker said. “I’m going to go cook.” Trinity nodded again. Parker made a quick dinner of microwaved fried rice, leftovers, which she knew Trinity loved.

“Okay sweet girl, do you want me to feed you?” Trinity nodded. She ate in silence. The quiet hum of the AC the only noise. “How about a movie?” Trinity nodded, and Parker put on Trinity’s favorite. The girl snuggled into Parker and quickly fell asleep.

Parker opened a notes app on her phone, and added to her list titled “baby girl,” ‘will go non verbal sometimes, shakes and nods only.’ She then relaxed with Trinity tucked into her side, both of them falling asleep on the couch.

Can you do one of little trin when they are working on shift and maybe they were short staffed so she had to work a double and it became to much and she involuntary regressed and it upset her so she rly wanted baran but she was busy so we see someone new take care of her like maybe Abbot or Robby

Hi, unfortunately my brain is so mixed with aus that I won’t have Robby take care of Trinity unless it’s for angst related reasons, so enjoy uncle Rabbit with Trinity :)

Trinity sat in the dark room teary eyed. She had made it 22.5 hours before another little was wheeled into the ER, throwing a fit, causing her to drop.

“Mr Dr Abbott, can I have a ‘nack?” She asked looking at him with big eyes.

“Sure kid. What do kids like, fruit snacks? Fruit snacks. I’ll be back.” Jack said to himself. He ran to the break room, and searches for the fruit snacks, finding a pack and grabbing a juice box.

When he returns to the room, Trinity is coloring quietly. Jack thinks it’s the cutest thing in the world.

“Alright kid, here’s fruit snacks, and some juice” he sets them both down, poking the straw in the box for her.

“Thanks Mr Dr Rabbi-Abbott.” Trinity mumbled. The two talked quietly, Jack asking Trinity about her favorite things, trinity asking Jack if it’s heavy to have a fake leg. The things without filter.

The two have quiet conversations until Trinity begins to doze off, where Abbott closed the door and turns off the lights, and waits for Baran to come and pick Trinity up.

He wishes he could take her back home, but Robby can’t focus on more than one little. They’d learned that when they first tried to take care of Trinity and Dennis after Heather left.

Jack would work most of it, but would see the cracks when he was there. So he sat, and tried to repay what he ignored by being there for Trinity, and who he ignored for so long.

This one is kinda based on one you just posted but she’s out to like a fancy dinner with all the residents like an annual dinner or something with all the attendings and she drops and she is a super picky eater like refusing to eat anything that they offer I think it would be a good way to see her interact with all the people in the Pitt because they are all at the same table

Trinity really didn’t mean to drop, but a shift and then having to go straight to this dinner was not good for her.

“Mama wanna sit with you.” Trinity whined as they pulled up to the venue.

“I know, azizam, but you have to sit with Parky, Cassie, Mel, Samira and Denny.” Trinity whined more. “I’ll be at a table close to you and we don’t have to stay long, just eat, I’ll talk and we’ll leave, okay?”

Trinity huffed but nodded. Sat between Cassie and Dennis she pushed around the fancy food on her plate. She didn’t want this, she wanted nuggets or pizza not, ‘roasted chicken and roasted vegetables.’

“Come on Trinity.” Dennis tried to convince her. “I promise you’ll like it. It’s good.” He shows her by eating a piece. Trinity huffs.

“Come on kiddo,” Cassie tried. “I’ll even feed it to you.” She loaded a bite on the fork, and Trinity ate it, while scrunching her nose.

“Want mama,” she mumbled.

“I know honey.” Samira interjected. “She’s about to speak and just think about how happy your mama will be if you eat.”

“But it’s yucky!” She whines.

The various residents try to feed the girl to no avail, small bites maybe but not enough for a full meal.

When Baran comes back after speaking, she comes and grabs Trinity. “Azizam you didn’t eat.”

“Was yucky.” She huffed.

“Do you want nuggets on the way home?” Baran asked.

“Yes mama.” Trinity nodded and leaned into her side.

“Thank you all for keeping an eye on her.” Baran thanked the residents, they all told her it was no trouble.

Baran swung through the drive thru, looking at the girl in her back seat and smiling.

First time Little!Trinity called Baran Mama!

Oops dropped off the face of the planet lol. Back with 2 in one day? Wild. Set in my Robby is bad to Trinity universe! Baran also takes care of Samira and Mel when they are small.

“Girls it’s time to get ready for bed.” Baran announces, Samira and Mel run up to the bathroom, Trinity not far behind. Mel and Samira would share the big bed, upstairs, Trinity had the offer to join them, or stay on the couch, or with Baran. She always chose the couch.

“Don’t want to mess up the routine.” She said, resolute. So Baran would dutifully put the sheets and a soft pillow on the couch. Leaving the soft blanket with princesses out for Trinity. Baran followed the girls up and helped make sure they all brushed everywhere. She went about the routine, a story in the guest bedroom with Mel and Samira. Tucking the two in while Trinity stands to the side. After she’s done and made sure Samira and Mel have everything put together, she leads Trinity down to the couch.

“Are you sure you don’t want to sleep with me or in the big bedroom with Mira and Mel, Baby?” Baran runs her fingers through her hair.

“ no thank you miss Baran.” Trinity says. Snuggling into the couch. Baran tucks Trinity in and kisses her forehead, same as the other 2. She turns on the small night light and goes to her room.

Trinity uses this tjme to sneak her doggy from her bag. And cuddle back under the sheet.

When she wakes up from a nightmare, Trinity’s eyes are wide and confused. She wants mama. She sniffles and heads towards Barans room, and knocks quietly on the door.

“Come in” a muffled voice relays from behind the door. Trinity opens the door, clutching doggy close to her. “Trinity what’s wrong honey?” Baran asks, looking at the girl.

“I- ummm- had a nightmare,” she sniffles, “can I ummm, sleep with you?” Trinity is dragging her feet, kicking back and forth.

“Of course, sweetie,” and Baran opens her arms to her. Trinity clambers up the bed, settling between Mama’s open arms.

As Trinity blinks slowly, she begins to fall asleep.

A quiet whisper escapes, “thank you mama.” Trinity waits for a reaction, Baran just holds her closer.

“Anytime, my baby,” and she kisses her forehead once more, as sleep over takes the little.”

Little!trinity at the pitt with an infection, an illness of some sort and shes just being a bit mischievous, playing pranks ect!

I’m listening to Connie Francis and it made me become obsessed with the idea that lil trin is obsessed with her. Also inspired by the Brittany broski interview, So let’s see!

“Wanna listen to Connie-“ a sneeze interrupted her, she had dropped, while at work. While both Baran and Yolanda were off. While hiding being sick from both of them as well.

It may have not been her smartest idea. She sneezed a few more times before stopping.

“Connie, whose connie?” Dennis is confused. Victoria shrugs. Trinity’s eyes tear up. She just wanted her favorite singer.

“I’m going to go call Dr. Al.” Victoria nodded, and left. Trinity huffed, coughing.

“Do you want to do something fun, Trinitt?” Dennis asked her, and the girl nodded.

“Let’s make everyone out of gloves like you normally do for kiddos huh?” Trinity nodded at that, and was humming a song that Dennis didn’t recognize.

Baran and Yolanda had never driven faster in their lives. When they arrive and hear the noise of Trinity singing “my first real love” they immediately relaxed. Getting anxious when they heard the chorus interrupted by a series of sneezes.

“Mama! Mamí!” Trinity yelled from the bed where her arm was hooked up to an IV. She was also surrounded by various gloves with drawn on faces. “Denny doesn’t know who Connie is!!!!” She gripes.

“Trinity you have to include her last name, Connie Francis, Dennis. The singer?” Yolanda explained. “I didn’t know her well either, but Trinity has been on a kick.”

“Home, mama?” Trinity sniffled into her mama’s arm.

“As soon as your infusions done baby,” baran kissed her forehead.

“Alright since you two are here I’m going to head back to the chaos.” Dennis said, but as soon as he turned he heard Trinity giggling. “What’s that for?”

“Nothing!” Trinity continued to giggle. Dennis walked out with the ‘call me huckleberry’ note on his back.

“Alright my love, enough with the jokes, let’s close our eyes,” Baran played quiet Connie Francis. Trinity laid against Baran who had crawled in the bed.

“Mmkay.” Trinity closed her eyes, exactly where she wanted to be.

I don’t remember if you continued the one where Heather visits, but she comes back and wants to confront Baran about the Robby thing and then sees how caring Baran is and is like ‘oh i made a mistake putting her w Robby’

Starting with this one from yours!!!! Also I know I asked for asks and didn’t post anything i’m living in chaos.

Heather was ready to fight her. This stranger who has taken her baby. Maybe she could get Trinity to transfer, her hospital had some residency spots. It would be perfect and she wouldn’t have to leave her with Robby. They were having a little party at Dana’s, it was just a little barbecue. Emma, Vic, Mel, and Trinity were all little.

It was warm outside, and Heather arrived with her bottle of wine. All the littles were playing in Dana’s backyard. Rolling down the hill, chasing each other and they all just seemed happy. Heather noticed Trinity following closely behind Heather. Heather entered the kitchen and saw that a conversation was already happening between Dana and Baran. Cassie and Ellis were sitting next to each other in a separate conversation.

She was about to begin her fight with Baran, when a cry was heard from the backyard and Mel ran up, “Ummm Miss Baran Trinity fell and hurt her arm.”

Heather saw as Baran ran to the backyard. Baran got to Trinity and was saying something Heather couldn’t quite hear from the deck. Trinity seemed to sniffle and settle, as Baran held her close.

“Gosh she’s just so good with her.” Cassie said to Ellis, just loud enough so she knows that Heather would hear.

“Oh yeah. And Trin is so much better than she was with Robby.” Ellis caught on to what the woman was doing.

“Definitely, and we get to see her now. Robby barely let her come to things like these.” Heather knew what they were doing. She couldn’t believe it, but seeing Baran brush Trinity’s hair out of her face, and delicately examen her arm? It helped her figure out her girl would be okay.

I totally respect hcs about agere when the characters retain their defining characteristics but I'm also really enjoying the idea of Pitt regressors being able to react in ways that their adult selves can't.

Like Mel is always so very held together: she puts up with things that are uncomfortable and/or unpleasant without complaining, she puts other peoples wants above her own needs, she prioritizes Becca in all ways and is always patient and controlled.

So imagine Mel who, when she's feeling smaller, tantrums a Lot. Not in a bratty way- it's just that she can't handle the orange that smells so strongly she can smell it all the way across the room, she can't handle the pasta that's overcooked to mush, she can't handle the noise of the vacume, she can't handle the bright light in the store, she can't handle any of it the way she usually can and she's so tired of having to put up with these things in her day to day, so now she's stamping her feet and crying and pushing because she knows that finally, finally she's safe to act how she feels.

Imagine Emma who has always, always brushed off the roughhousing of her older brothers with a smile, no matter how much it hurts: she never gives in to pain, she can handle it, she's had worse, it's fine. So now when she's feeling small, she's in tears over everything, every scrape, every papercut, every bruise has her sniffling and whining because she knows that finally, she can do so without fear of being scolded or made fun of: Dana will just scoop her into her lap and cuddle her and never, ever tell her she's making a fuss.

And imagine Trinity who is so used to pushing people away and protecting herself that when she finally feels safe with someone, she's able to actually seek out the closeness and comfort that she never usually gets: she's climbing onto Baran's lap, she's holding her hand, clinging to her sleeve, just generally soaking up every bit of love and care without fear or guardedness.

I think I’ve upped Trinity santos’ charting hell bc I’m currently in new hire education hell.

I’ve been slammed my 3 days of orientation, and have gotten an email about finishing learning modules. I wish I would have had time to do them. I’m not skipping them on purpose I promise boss 😭

Combining these two! This is in my bad Robby au. Don’t like me making him bad? Don’t read!

Baran had done EVERYTHING and she means everything, but Trinity was still small and fussy. Baran could not figure out what to do to get her to calm down. She was taking a moment to herself in the living room, while Trinity was in the kitchen. She was picking at the snack Baran had said out. She had hoped that was the issue. If it wasn’t Baran didn’t know what she was going to do.

The quiet she had gotten didn’t last long, as a sob broke from the other room. Baran took a deep breath and re entered. Trinity was trying to rub hot tears away while running into the bathroom, but Baran noticed the drops following her. Baran quietly went to the bedroom, and picked up a new set of clothes and dug for a pull up. They didn’t use them but she knew how small Trinity dropped, she wanted to be prepared. She walked to the bathroom door and knocked.

“Trin, baby, it’s mama.”

“Go ‘way!” Trinity cried.

“I brought you some new clothes, I’m not mad I promise.” Baran signed, “Can I come in, please? I just want to help you.”

“No! You’re gonna yell like Robby did.” The girl cried. Baran remembered being told this, anything “smaller” than Trinity being 8 or older, Robby would be mad. Claiming she needed to be old enough to help with Dennis.

“Azizam, Robby’s not here and I’m not mad I promise.” The door cracked open and Baran’s heart hurt.

“P’omise?” Trinity looked like she wanted to believe her so bad, but was so scared.

“I promise Trinity.” Baran crossed her heart. “can I help you clean up, we can do a shower or a bath?”

“Shower.” Trinity insisted. Baran nodded and turned the water to warm, not too hot she didn’t want to scald her baby.

“Trinity, I wanted to ask. I brought you a pull up,” Trinity looked at her feet embarrassed. “I know it’s scary, but I think we should try this tonight.”

Trinity bit her lip hard, but nodded. She trusted mama. “Mmkay.” The shower was quick. Trinity got dressed into her pajamas. She felt so safe with the pull up on. It stopped the fussing almost completely.

“Better baby?” Baran asked.

“Mhmmm. T’ank you mama.” Trinity replied.

Emma was trying to be a good babysitter. She swears! Trinity had shifted into an older baby, not quite a toddler, and was TEETHING HARD. It was awful. She had one sharp tooth and the other canine was breaking through.

“Come on Trinity, let’s try this one.” Emma held up another tether, this one frozen. She was attempting to replace her arm, which Trinity had decided was her favorite teether.

Trinity took the toy in her hand, and put it in her mouth. She gnawed at it for 10 minutes, before returning to Emma’s arm after a brief whine.

“Now that thats over.” Baran sighed, having gotten changed into a hoodie at the end of her shift. Emma thankfully was happy to hold Trinity for a little while, during handoff and a last minute trauma.

“Ma! Ma!” Trinity squealed. Reaching for Baran who took her in her arms. Trinity immediately took Barans hoodie strings and began to chew on one of them. Content.

“She was good, I think she might be teething or something in this form?” Emma said, rubbing where Trinity had gummed/used her one tooth to chew on her.

“I hope she didn’t hurt you or cause too much trouble.” Baran sighed, “it’s always hit or miss with this age.”

“I’m okay!” Emma said, patting Trinity’s back once.

“Ma! Home!” Trinity said. Tucking her head into Barans chest.

“Yes, azizam, we’re going home.” Baran said, “Thanks again Emma.”

“No worries.” Emma replied and turned to get ready to leave for the day as well.

Dada!Emery finding little princess toys (like Polly Pocket size) and small dinosaurs in her pockets because of Little!Trinity 🥺

I’ve never really written for Walsh so forgive me if I don’t get her vibe exactly right.

Emery was in a rush, she threw on her jacket, kissed a regressed Trin’s forehead, thanked Yolanda, and drove (probably faster than she needed to) to PTMC. They had called her in for a surgery. It was a past patient of hers who had a re-injury. She hoped to make it quick and easy.

“Alrighty, we’ll get you up to an OR asap, Mrs.Sparks.” She nodded to Mrs. Sparks and her wife.

“So sorry to call you in on your day off!” The woman said, while grimacing. Emery turned to leave. She was already thinking about what way she would enter and what she would need to-

“Dr Walsh,” the Mrs. Sparks not in the gurney said, “you seemed to have dropped someone.” Someone? Emery thought. She looked down and noticed the small princess on the ground, Ariel, one of Trinity’s favorites, which she must have kept in her pocket from when they went to see Christmas lights.

“Oh, I’m so sorry it must be my nieces, we took her to see fireworks last weekend.” Emery coolly replied.

“Well then you definitely can’t lose her!” Both women smiled.

“Oh she’d pitch a fit,” Emery said remembering last time Trinity lost something, as her phone rang. “Duty calls, I’ll see you in the OR.” Emery answered the call.

“Emery she is crying. Something about Ariel?” Yolanda said.

“Put her on.” Emery said, immediately hearing crying through the phone. “What’s wrong baby?”

“Dadaaaa can’t find Ariel.” Trinity sniffled. “‘Nd I don’ know when I had her last.” The girl hiccuped.

“I have Ariel baby, you left her in my pocket.” Emery soothed her, patting her pockets and also finding 2 small plastic dinosaurs. “I also have 2 of your dinos. I think they just want to help someone feel better, then they’ll be right back okay?” She heard a sniffle through the phone, but Trinity’s breathing had evened out.

“Okay dada.” She sniffled again. “Come home soon. Pleassseee dada. Miss you.”

“I’ll be there as soon as I can with your Ariel and Dino’s okay, be good for Landa.”

“Okay dada, love you.”

“Love you too, Princess.” Trinity giggled, and pressed the hang up button. Emery was smiling the whole way up to the OR, her “helpers” in her pocket, the whole time.

Little!trinity at a PTMC event where shes being so so clingy to any caregiver or any adult who knows she regresses

“Torrriiiiii,” she whisper whined in the girls ear. “I wanna go homeeeeeee”

“I know Trin, but we have to wait until your mama is done.” Victoria rubbed the girls arm. Cassie was busy getting Trinity a plate of things she’d hope she’d eat.

“I don’ wanna wait.” Trinity huffed. “And my dress is itchy.” Trinity bit her lip. The gala had been going on since 7, and it was getting close to 9 now. Cassie came back to the table that all the ED residents and med students were sitting at. They had been talking all night with donors, but noticed Trinity dropped and figured it was a good time to get a snack.

“Alright Trin,” Cassie set the plate in front of her, “I’ve got some fancy pizza bites, some pepperoni and cheese, and some bread, how do we feel?”

“Don’ wan’ it.” Trinity mumbled, “want adobo.”

“I know Trin, but it’s really yummy! Watch!” And Victoria took a bite of one of the bruschetta, which is what Cassie called pizza bites (she knew it was a stretch). “Mmmmmm, it’s sooo good .” Trinity still turned her nose up at it.

“Wan’ mama,” she mumbled and tears started tk well in her eyes.

“I know kiddo, do you wanna go into the other room where it’s quiet and wait for her to be done, she looks like she’s just going to be a few more minutes.” Cassie pat her back.

“Only if Tori comes.” Trinity said, pushing the tears out from her eyes.

“Of course Trin,” Victoria moved to get up and hold Trinity by her arm. They sit on the benches outside the main ballroom, Trinity resting her head on Victoria’s shoulder, taking small bites from Cassie feeding her. Baran crept around the corner, having finally finished. When Trinity noticed, her face lit up.

“MAMA! Home, now, please?” Trinity asked, immediately gluing herself to her mama’s side.

“Yes we can go home.” Baran said. “Thank you both, did she eat?”

“A few bites, but she was requesting adobo.” Cassie said, chuckling.

“Understood, did you say thanks Trinity?”

“Thanks Tori, Thanks Cass.” Trinity said.

“No problem, Trin.” Victoria said and Cassie nodded in agreement.

Trinity smiled as Baran led her to the car.

Idk if it's ever confirmed anywhere, but I think Santos is on the latter half of a double on the 4th.

I know in the earlier episodes someone says they've been there since 5, and she says that it makes two of them, and I initially assumed she just came in early to get caught up on charts.

But shes already fairly involved with a patient when Robby comes in rather than walking up with a night shift for handoff. It also explains why she keeps dozing off later. Normal shift:

Came in at 5 + shift + stayed to chart

2 + 12 + 3 = 17hrs

Night shift + day shift + stayed to chart

12 + 12 + 3 = 27hrs
