Yes! Ellis is her main CG in this fic! And was stuck on a night shift when Trinity accidentally dropped right before leaving work.
Trinity sat at Dana’s kitchen table, scribbling on a coloring book. It was princess themed, and she was currently scribbling on Moana’s face.
“Miss Dana ‘ook!” Trinity held up her picture excitedly. Dana dried her hands on the towel over her shoulder and pulled down her readers to look at the paper.
“Nice job kiddo,” Dana patted her shoulder gently. “Do you want us to put it on our fridge, or wait until your mommy gets here and gives it to her?”
Trinity thought, even putting her finger to tap on her chin to think. “Show it to Cass first?” She asked Dana.
“Sure kiddo, she should be making up the guest bed for you.” Dana pointed down a hall that Trinity knew very well. Her mommy tried to always be off when she was regressed but it didn’t always work. So she wandered to the room that had been speckled with her toys, and called out to McKay. “Cass! ‘Ook! I colored a pi’ture!!”
Cassie inspected the picture. “Good job kiddo, it’s so pretty. Are you saving it for your mommy in the morning?” Trinity thought then nodded.
“Help mommy after her long shift at the hospital.” Trinity grinned.
“Good idea kiddo, I think miss Dana was going to make you a treat, so why don’t we go check it out?”
Trinity nodded. Cassie grabbed Trinity’s hand and they both moved to sit on the barstools set up at Dana’s island. Dana was dishing up some grilled peaches with some vanilla ice cream.
“My dad did this all the time when I was growing up, so let me know whatcha think kiddo okay?” Trinity nodded, and dove in. It was so yummy.
“Yummy miss Dana!” Trinitt announced.
“I’m glad Trinity!” Dana smiled. Trinity may not be there baby but they loved helping when they could.

I think unfortunately Heather would try to think that she was right, and think Baran and Yolanda are spoiling Trinity, especially at first.
Heather was coming back to ptmc for a couple weeks, she wasn’t planning on stopping by, really, but she was in the area for a conference and wouldn’t mind seeing her old stomping grounds.
And her best girl, of course. Robby had told her Trinity had wanted to stop calling because they both felt it was “impeding their bond.” It hurt Heather, but she was busy with foster licensing and starting her new job in Portland. So she wasn’t that concerned.
When she stopped by PTMC, Dana was the first to greet her.
“How ya been, we miss ya, but I’m sure Portland is treatin’ ya better than here.” Dana smiled. “You just missed Trinity, she dropped and went home with Al-Hashimi.”
“Al-Hashimi? Who’s that?” Heather was confused why her girl wasn’t going with Robby when she was dropped.
“New attending, Trinity started dropping with her.” Dana paused. “Couple of months ago? Been good for the kid.”
“What happened with Robby?”
“I don’t know all the details, Trinity just was a lot older and a lot more closed off when Robby was watching her. Heard Dennis is a bit of a handful so Robby put it on the kid. Al-Hashimi found her on the fourth and took her home. Garcia’s been over there too quite a bit.” Heather was baffled by what Dana said. She must be wrong. It was at that moment Trinity ran back in.
“Uhhh Miss Dana, Mama said she forgot her bag with her medi-“ Trinity stopped when her eyes fell in Heather. Trinity immediately got much more attention quiet. “Hi Miss Heather. Miss Dana do you know where mama left her bag? Mama said if I found it she’d let me open the new critters she got me.”
“Check by your Tita Perlah, I saw her there earlier.” Dana said to the girl.
“Mmmkay! Thanks!” Trinity trotted off and began chatting to Perlah in Tagalog before picking up a bag and heading out towards the ambulance bay, “Bye miss Dana! Ummmm can emma maybe come over soon?”
“ ‘Course kiddo, I’ll talk to your mama.” Heather was in awe watching this all play out. Trinity left with a small wave.
“They spoil that girl rotten, but she deserves it. Hardly would ask for anything when she was with Robby.” Dana sighed
“Well maybe Robby was giving her what she needed.” Heather retorted, she had to have made the right choice.”
“Heather, you weren’t here for months. You can’t say anything you don’t know what happened.” Dana warned.
“Trinity was my little first, I wouldn’t have put her with Robby if I didn’t think it was a good idea.” Heather said. “Baran has helped that girl feel safe and wanted, she’s practically glued to her when she’s small.”
“I’m just saying-“
“Heather drop it, Trinity’s happy. That’s what matters.”
Heather wasnt sure. She’d have to ask Robby what happened, maybe see if she could get to see Trinity when she was little with “Al-Hashimi.” Garcia does not seem like that caregiver type either. She’ll get to the bottom of this.

She steps back moving the ball around in her glove. Fuck you Santos. She launches forward with every muscle in her body. She can tell the ball is going just how she wants it. She watches with a shit eating grin as it goes up and in, beaming Santos right in the helmet. It's so hard it nearly knocks the thing right off her head. The rookie barely has time to turn her face away.
The entire stadium gasps. It's obvious. That was on purpose. Garcia knows she's about to get ejected so she lets herself have a bit of fun. She spreads her arms out wide. “Welcome to the Pros rookie.” She says loud enough for maybe the teams to hear but definitely loud enough for Santos, Walsh, and the umpire behind the plate to. Coach is going to kill me.
It takes a few seconds for Santos to get her bearings before her head whips to face Garcia. There's a dead silent pause where you could probably hear a pin drop… Before Santos rips off her helmet, spiking it on the ground, and charges the pitcher's mound. Garcia had already taken a few steps out of the circle and Santos had been up in the box. So that leaves less than thirty feet between them.
“WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” Santos manages to yell out before arms come around her waist dragging her off. It's Walsh and she looks ready to deck Santos when Lisa is out, grabbing Walsh and pulling her away. Santos' head coach is dragging Santos away but she's trying to break loose. “FUCK YOU GARCIA!”
Within seconds Santos is tackling Garcia to the ground with the force of a linebacker. The pitcher's skull manages to not hit the ground. She goes to block her face but Santos is straddling her hips and ripping her up off the ground by the front of her jersey so they're face to face inches apart. Her seafoam eyes burn with rage.

I’d say most people noticed Trinity change a bit, but think it’s just due to the new adjustment period. Here’s a few quick examples!
Dana notices that Trinity is slowly getting better at saying no. She used to go along with everything anyone said, but once when Trinity and Emma were playing Trinity wanted to stop Emma offered another game and Trinity said, “no thanks, gonna go get a snack from mama.” Dana realized this is the first time she’d heard Trinity say no in months. At least since she was with Trinity and Heather… aka the whole time she had been with Robby… weird, she thought
Cassie realized when she was watching Trinity for Baran, and Trinity asked for something for dinner. Whenever she watched Trinity for Robby, Trinity always said “whatever,” and when she was with Dennis it was “whatever Denny wants.”
Samira figured it out before Trinity ever left Robby. The way Trinity would never ask for things, the way that she wouldn’t be at many of the big cg/little events. And if she was she was, so much older than she ever was with Heather? It was weird.

Yup yup yup! This is def from my Garsanshimi with not great Robby au. Trinity is a grade 1 clinger because Baran is the first person since Heather to treat her fully good. Ft trinitys new stuffy Baran and Yolanda got her!
Mel was arranging her stuffies and Parker was finishing getting the guest room set up. Yolanda and Baran had to go on a short trip to present a case study in the morning. They had planned for Trinity to spend the night with them. Mel had the schedule written out on the whiteboard in the living room:

“Melbear, Trinity’s going to be here in about 10 minutes.” Parker called.
“Ok, Parky.” Mel responded. She finished arranging her stuffies and went to get her dolls ready. There was a knock on the door and Parker came out of the guest room to let Baran and Trinity in.
“Hi Parker, sorry she’s really upset.” Baran said. Mel looked to see Trinity with red rimmed eyes and a frown set into her face.
“What’s wrong kiddo? I thought you were excited for our sleepover.” Parker asked, genuine worry in her tone.
“Don’ wan’ mama to leave.” Trinity mumbled, grilling on tighter to Baran’s shoulder. Baran rubbed Trinity’s back.
“I know azizam, but it’s only for one night and Miss Parker is going to be so good and take such good care of you. You’ll get to play with Mel too.” Trinity still whined. “Let’s double check do you have everything? Doggy?” Trinity nodded, “blankie” another nod, “Dan?” Trinity nodded and clutched Dan, a blue cat that was much less tattered than her doggy was. “You’re ready to do it I promise. I love you baby.” Baran kissed Trinity’s forehead.
“Love you mama.” Trinity murmured.
“Why don’t you go see what Mel is doing while I talk to your mama?” Trinity nodded at Parker and gave her mama one quick hug before going to find Mel, who was laying out dolls for her and Trinity to play with.
“Sorry, she just is worried about being with another caregiver after… everything.” Baran rubbed her forehead. “Here’s her bag,” she handed the blue backpack over to Ellis. “It has clothes, a couple of pacis, snacks I know she’ll eat, extra toys and a couple of books she likes.”
“I get it boss,” Parker said. “I’ve got your numbers, we’ve got a schedule, she’ll be okay. I’m not like Robby.”
“I know, it’s just-“
“She’ll be okay, the Chinese food will be here in like a half an hour then we’re going to watch a movie and go to bed. I’ll call you if I need anything now go, you have a late night drive ahead.” Parker shooed the woman out.
Mel saw Trinity coming and laid out her dolls. She had set aside the two she wanted to play with herself. “You can pick any of these dolls to play with and we can play together, or you can play and I’ll play next to you!” Trinity picked out the rapunzel doll, and just messed with its hair. Braiding it, brushing it out. Mel had hers cooking, like her and Parky did all the time.
“Mel, what’re your dolls doin’?” Trinity asked.
“Making Pizza like me and Parky do.” Mel said. Telling Trinity how they would roll out the dough, put toppings on, and bake it. Trinity watched, she thought Mel was sooo cool.
“Hey Kiddos, dinners here.” Parker called. Trinity got some noodles and orange chicken. Mel got dumplings and chicken fried rice. Parker got rice and general Tso’s. They eat dinner in relative silence. Parker asks how playing dolls was, and Mel responded it was fun and Trinity nodded in affirmation.
“Alright kiddos, one brownie a piece.” Parker said while plating them. Trinity poked at hers, only having eaten about half her dinner. She wasn’t really hungry.
“Thank you miss Parker.” Trinity sat her half eaten brownie in front of her, after Mel was done.
Mel led Trinity to the living room again to cuddle on the couch. “We can watch Ratatouille, Up, or Finding Dory. You can chose if you want.” Trinity looked at Mel with big eyes.
“Gonna get mad if I chose what you don’t wan’?” Trinity asked, looking at both Mel and Parker, biting her lip.
“No, I like them all. That’s why I gave you options?” Mel was very confused. Who gets mad when other people pick movies.
“Rat? Pease?” Trinity asked once again looking between Mel and Parker.
“Sounds good Kiddo, why don’t you use the bathroom before we start.” Trinity nodded at Parker’s words and went to use the bathroom. “You’re doing such a good job Mel. I’m proud of you.” Mel smiles.
Trinity toddles back out a few minutes later, and sits on the couch across from the pair and cuddles her cat, as the movie played.
Trinity was already starting to drift when the movie ended. “Alright kiddos, teeth, PJs and book then bed okay?” Trinity and Mel both nodded.
They both got ready for bed. Parker and Mel both sat on the end of the bed, and read a book from Trinity’s bag.
“Ummmmm Ms Parker. Can you leave the light on? I kinda get scared sometimes.” Trinity mumbled.
“Course kiddo, I’ll leave the hallway light on too.” Parker soothed. “Now get some rest kiddo.”
Mel and Parker went to their room where they cuddled. “Good job Kiddo, I’m proud of you.”
“I had fun Parky.” Mel said. The two also cuddled and fell asleep. It had been a long long night.
Little!Trinity maybe a pool day at Cassie’s place and she gets tired and takes a nap under a chair or something and Baran and Yolanda are tearing the place apart looking for her

Trinity was sun-kissed but so so tired. Every time she went and asked Baran how much longer they were staying, she would say just a bit longer. But Mama kept asking and talking to Dana and Cassie and Trinity wanted to sleep. Yolanda was talking with Emery and Mira so she knew she’d just be more bored there. Trinity looked around and saw Cassie’s pool chairs, where Mama and Da had put all of their stuff.
She got her blankie and doggy from her bag, and then used her towel to to lay it across the bottom. It was kinda dark, but there was peaks of light from the slats. Trinity cuddled her toys and slowly drift off.

Baran had noticed the sun start to set, and realized they had to get Trinity home for a bath before bed. She scanned the yard and… didn’t see Trinity? She looked to where Yolanda was and Trinity wasn’t by her either.
She walked towards Yolanda, and grabbed her arm gently. “My love have you seen Trinity?”
“I thought she was with you?” Yolanda asked, looking around scanning the backyard. “Trinity! Where are you mija?” Baran began to panic, where was she? She looked behind the pool wall, double checked in the pool, and the raised deck closer to Cassie’s actual house. They couldn’t fine her anywhere.
“What if she got kidnapped? Or just ran and got hit by a car or-?” Baran was freaking out.
“The gates still closed Baran, Trinity is smart but not smart enough to remember to close it when she’s little. Go grab your stuff and load the car so when we find her you can leave.” Cassie was cool and collected. She knew Trinity couldn’t have gone far. Baran went and picked up the beach bag and noticed Trinity’s towel was not laid out on the chair like it was earlier. She also noticed two feet sticking out the end of the chair. When she bent over to look, Trinity was there, fast asleep with her thumb tucked in her mouth.
Oh My God, She thought, How long has she been there? Baran sat beside the chair and rubbed Trinity’s back gently.
“Mmmm” Trinity stirred, peaking her eyes open. “Mama, go home?”
“Azizam you had me so worried, I didn’t know where you were.” Baran said, as Trinity was crawling out.
“ ‘m sorry I was tired.” Trinity’s hips were not forgiving her for laying on the concrete and she stumbled and whined, pulsing pain shooting up both sides. “Hurts mama. Hips.”
“It must not have felt good on the concrete huh?” Baran puts an arm beside her. “Landa I think our girl needs a piggy back ride to the car.”
“Oh amorcita where were you,” Yolanda hustled up as Trinity gave a small yawn.
“Chair, ‘eepy.” Trinity wrapped her arms around Yolanda’s neck as she grabbed the girls legs, and Baran gathered their stuff.
“We’ve got her Cassie, we’re out have a good night.” Yolanda yelled, “I’m sorry baby, let’s go get you a bath and then get all comfy cozy okay?” Trinity nodded into the back of Yolanda’s neck, still gripping her doggy and blankie, her eyes so heavy, as she let Yolanda set her in the back seat of the car.
“No more sneaking off like that, okay azizam?” Baran asked.
“Told you I w’s ‘eepy mama.” Trinity mumbled. Baran did remember that.
“I know, I should have listened to you.”
“ ‘s k. Bath at home?” Trinity asked. Baran nodded.
“Bath then snuggles”
Trinity nodded, content with how the day turned out.
Little!Trinity who gets sick at work but Baran and Yolanda aren't around and she slips, but the other doctors treat her like royalty and make sure she's comfy until her cgs get back.

Baran and Yolanda had been at a conference for a week, set to come back tomorrow. Though Trinity could hold off a drop for this long it still sucked. It doesn’t help that the sniffles had started up yesterday and hadn’t seemed to subside. She managed to hide it from Baran and Yolanda on their nightly FaceTime call.
She woke up with a splitting headache and her nose so stuffed up she could hardly breathe through it. Trinity just felt gross, but works gotta work and people are still much sicker than she is.
“You okay?” Javadi immediately asks, seeing the dark circles around Trinity’s eyes, and noticing small sniffles.
“Perfect Crash, why?” Trinity snarked, then proceeding to sneeze.
“You look like you have a fever, and it’s hard to look like you have a fever.” Javadi said, stonefaced. “Did you even take a temp this morning?”
“I’m fine!” Trinity whined, Perlah side eyed her.
“Are you Anak? Let me take your temperature.” Which made Trinity whine more.
“Not small,” she whined out.
“Are you sure? It’s okay, I know you haven’t dropped since Al-Hashimi and Garcia have been gone.” Trinity glared at Perlah before being overtaken by coughs.
“Alright Santos, I’ve heard enough coughing out of you. You’re out go hang out in central 10. I’ll send McKay over to check you out.” Dana came up behind her.
“Nooooooo.” Trinity whined.
“And you’re small? You really must be sick.” Dana pt the girl on the back and steered her towards the room. “I’ll go get your bag, you just stay parked in that seat. Do you want me to call Al-Hashimi and Garcia?” Trinity shook her head.
“Don’ wanna worry mama and Da.” Trinity said.
Dana shook her head at that, “alright but if McKay thinks it’s bad, we’re calling okay?” Trinity huffed at that.
Once Dana got back with Trinity’s little bag, she was cuddled under a blanket with a tablet playing bluey in front of her. “Miss Dr Cassie said I probably have a cold but ‘m dehy- dehyder- dehydrated. She said gonna get fluids and do strep test just ‘n case.” Trinity rambled out.
“Looks like you’re off the clock, let’s get some comfy clothes on and I’ll get Perlah to get you a popsicle, okay kid?” Dana was hoping the promise of a popsicle say well with Trinity, and when she nodded, Dana set out an outfit for her. Perlah came in with the popsicle and the IV kit shortly after.
“Alright kiddo, big poke, then you can watch more bluey. And I brought lumpia for my lunch so I might be able to sneak you a few.” Trinity nodded excitedly. She loved lumpia.
“I’m going to call Al-Hashimi and Garcia, okay kid?” Trinity once again nodded, she didn’t really want to talk right now, but she missed mama and da.
“Alright princess,” the nickname made Trinity giggle.
“I not Princess!” She responded.
“Oh, my bad, you’re not princess. How about Queen?” This made Trinity giggle more, “big poke okay? Then we’re going to give you some fluid.” Trinity nodded at what Perlah told her.
“Alright kiddo, Dana talked to me. Your strep test was negative so it really probably is a cold. Garcia’s portion of the conference ended early, so she’s heading back down this way.” McKay explained graciously.
Trinity gave a thumbs up. “Da come ‘nd see me.” Trinity drifted off, the noise of Perlah and McKay talking around her.

Yolanda was not expecting this when she walked into the room. 4 popsicle wrappers, 2 new stuffed animals, and Trinity wrapped in a mountain of blankets. The girl was fast asleep with bluey playing quietly on the tablet in front of her.
“She’s been zonked for the last 30 minutes.” Perlah chuckled. “Gave her some treats, she’s been really quiet though just so you know.”
“Thank you. All of this is, a lot for her.” Yolanda moved to pet trinitys hair, causing her to stir. “Your IV is done baby, ready to go home.”
“I da queen Da. Perlah said so.” This caused both women to chuckle. “Home? Mama?”
“Mama will be home as soon as she can be. We’re going to go home and cuddle and have arroz caldo.” Trinity hummed in approval at that.
“Thank you miss nurse Perlah” Trinity mumbled out.
“Anytime Anak.” Perlah smiled. “I’ll let Dana and Dr McKay know you’re going to head out, her discharge paperwork is done.”
A few minutes later, both Dana and McKay walk in. “Go get some rest kiddo.” McKay rubbed Trinity’s shoulder.
“And you stay home for the rest of the week, got it?” Dana looked at Trinity sternly but caringly. Trinity nodded.
“Thank you Miss Dana, Thank you Miss Dr McKay.” Both women chuckled.
Me thinking about all the ways the Pitt could use RTs in season 3 knowing it will probably not happen. (Carbon monoxide patient, my once again brilliant idea for a trach patient to come in and bada bing bada boom [shocked there is not more trach patients coming into the big urban hospital, but maybe that’s just me], bronchoscopy on a patient who aspirated (like fully bronchoscopy, not like how they did with broccoli guy), COPD patient , I could say a million more. I really wish we got more RT action in that asthma patient.
There are so many opportunities, please give RTs more love. We are the red headed step children of so many hospitals but we are really great in a pinch
