In a recent post you said how Baran and Yolanda didnt like how Robby treated Little!Trinity do you have any HC on how he treated her when little 🤍
Ok be prepared bc this does not paint Robby in a good light (tho I do like Robby as a character) I’ve talked about this with @cyansadness and @hambeast
-Robby originally only wanted Dennis as his little, but when he realized that Trinity regressed too, he felt guilty leaving her by herself. He always encouraged her to be a “big sister” to dennis and almost act as a secondary caregiver to dennis, rather than her own little self.
-Trinity would get blamed more often than not when dennis had tantrums. In Robby’s head she always needs to help make dennis happy.
-this includes when she first started regressing with Baran and Yolanda and she got some special toys and she brought them out to play with when Denny and Robby were there. Denny broke a toy and she started crying which made dennis cry and Trinity was the one to get in trouble.
-Robby always asked her to help set the table, help clean up. She never said no because she didn’t want to be bad. She said please and thank you but never got told how good she was for being polite it was just… expected.
-it was noted when she didn’t say it, Robby would tell her to make sure she’s being polite. Dennis did not get the same treatment.
-Trinity would run in and try to show Robby drawings/other things she made, and Robby would always say he’d look at it later when he’s not focused on dennis and that never happened
-Robby has put countless of Dennis’ drawings on the fridge, Trinity has one
-lots of golden child dennis and Trinity just wanting to be loved. When she starts regressing with Baran and Yolanda, she’s soooo polite but gets overwhelmed with the attention just being on her.
I’ll throw one out for little!Trinity, how about a zoo or aquarium trip for the girl?? I’d love to see what Garcia and Al-Hashimi are like with her in an outside setting!

art.
"Okay Trin, you know the rules right?"
Baran puts white velcro shoes on the squirming little as Trinity pretends to think, nibbling on her finger. "Uh, stay by Mama and Landa, don't touch anything.. and um."
She looks up at her after her train of thought ends and Baran rolls her eyes fondly, starting to straighten her hair. "Don't wander off, alright?" She starts braiding the front of her hair back so it didn't get in her face. Trinity had given herself a haircut when the two weren't looking a month ago, and it was just starting to grow back normally. "You don't want to give Landa and I a heart attack alright?"
"A 'eart attack is when blood 'stops flowing." Trinity mumbles, fiddling with the tamagotchi in her hands. Her medical knowledge somehow always came through when she regressed. "Good girl." Baran giggles, patting her head, finishing it up. "How'd you get so smart?"
"Cause of you and Da!" Baran smiles as she puts the star hair clips in, planting a kiss on her forehead. "You're right about that." Yolanda pops in the door, bag ready and smiles at the sight of them. "There's my girls."
Trinity springs up and twirls. "Da, do you like my dress?" Baran had bought her a white sundress since when Trinity regressed she hated jeans, leggings, and anything she couldn't play in. They had gone shopping and Trinity picked out a bunch of clothes to wear when she was little, the two women always wanted to make sure she was comfortable.
"Oh my love, you look perfect." Yolanda picks her up and spins her around. "Are you ready for the zoo?"
"'nd aquari-"
"aqari-"
"Aquarium sweetheart." Yolanda pecks her forehead. "Did Mama do your hair? It looks nice." Trinity nods excitedly as Baran watches the two with a smile. "It's 'rowing back!"
"Yeah, but you know now not to play with scissors, alright?
"Mmhmm!"
"Now are you ready to see some animals?"
Trinity nods as Baran grabs her purse along with Trinity's backpack. "I know you hate it, but you'll need sunscreen when we get there, alright?" Trinity pouts as they walk to the car, Yolanda holding her hand. "It's icky!"
"I know it's icky love, but you don't want to get burned while we're looking at the animals okay?" They get in the car and start the drive towards the zoo. Trinity glances outside at the window before pulling out her DS. Yolanda got it for her for Christmas since Trinity used to have one, but lost it when she came to Pittsburgh.
"What game is that, baby?"
"Nintendogs!"
Baran snorts as they keep driving, barely getting any traffic as they get closer to the aquarium. "What animal are you most excited to see hun?" Yolanda turns back to look at her as the little starts getting excited.
"Um, the 'hale!"
Ah the whale. The zoo had just rescued a small whale and was rehabilitating it until it recovered. And Trinity was dying to see it before they sent it back to the ocean. Yolanda smiles and then her head snaps down at the tamagotchi on her keys, buzzing for food.
All three had matching ones that synched up when they were close. Trinity was obsessed with them, constantly making sure the two women fed them, played with them, etc.
(Until Baran accidentally killed hers but Trinity doesn't need to know that.)
"Alright we're here my love." Trinity perks up excitedly as Yolanda gets out first to unbuckle her seatbelt. She squirms as Baran gets the sunscreen out her purse, rubbing in on her face and arms.
"Mama!" She pouts. "Off!"
Baran smiles. "Almost done azizam, anddd there." Trinity giggles as she smells the sunscreen on her. "Can we go yet?"
Baran locks the car before tossing Yolanda the keys. "Yes, my love." Yolanda tightens Trinity's backpack on her back, a small yellow one with bunny keychains that Perlah bought for her when she went on vacation.
The two women let Trinity drag them inside with fond smiles. As they wander around the zoo, she points out all the animals and takes a few pictures using Baran's phone. They spot a few red pandas, flamingos, and Trinity ends up hiding behind her mama as they walk over the alligators.
She only perks up when they get to a more open area.
"Mama, Da, look a 'irrafe!"
"Wanna go feed them?" Yolanda asks, pulling her close.
"We can DO that?"
Baran smiles and starts leading her to where they feed the giraffes and Trinity is handed a few leaves by zookeepers in excitement. As the giraffe gets closer, she tenses up and takes a step back as Baran steps in and holds her hand.
"Baby, it's alright, the giraffe is just hungry, not going to hurt you." She holds her hand as they both reach out to feed it. It licks her hand and Trinity squeals.
"Again! Again!"
Yolanda hands her more leaves as Trinity feeds them. After they finish, they wash their hands and head over to where they eat.
"Trin do you want burgers?"
"No! Want nuggies!"
Yolanda and Baran exchange an amused look as they join one of the lines, looking up at the menu. "Yolo do you want chicken orr.." Yolanda smirks. "Uhh, think I'll join the other line, kinda craving that burger." Yolanda steps out to the next line and as Baran gets to the front, she turns around to talk to Trinity.
"Ok Trin you want chicken nugge-"
"Trin?"
Baran glances around, and doesn't see her. "Trinity?" Her eyes scan around the crowded food court in unease. She steps out of line to stand on her tip toes. "TRINITY?"
Yolanda gets back to her side with her burger and stops. "What's wrong, where's Trin?"
"She's not with you?"
Yolanda's eyes go wide as she puts the food in her bag. "She couldn't have wandered far, alright?" The two walk around the crowded food court, looking for the little. No sign of her backpack, or the bright clips in her hair, it was like she vanished into thin air.
After 15 minutes of wandering around the zoo and retracing their steps, they can't find her anywhere.
Baran starts panicking a bit, leaning over a table for support as she takes a few deep breaths. "Hey, hey hun. We'll find her okay? Take some breaths." Yolanda rubs her back and helps her stand up.
"Now look at me."
Baran looks at her shakily as Yolanda holds her hands. "Copy me, okay? In, and out. In, and out."
They take a few deep breaths together as Baran calms down, leaning into the other woman's touch.
"Now let's think, where did she want to go the most today?"
Their eyes both go wide in realization as they head to the aquarium section of the zoo.

Trinity was sitting in front of the whale exhibit, watching it swim around in awe. She clutches her bag close as she hears footsteps behind her, and sees Baran kneel in front of her.
"Baby." Baran says in relief, pulling her into a hug. "I was so worried, I thought something happened to you."
"Mama, Landa, whale." Trinity whispers, pointing at the tank. Their eyes follow hers and watch it swim around. They both sigh in relief as they sit down next to her, looking up at it.
"You can't wander off like that hun," Yolanda starts, pulling her into her lap and kissing her head. "This place is big, you could've gotten lost."
"M sorry, Da, but I saw the whale sign." Trinity cuddles her head into her shoulder as the woman rubs her back. They both sense how tired she was, the aquarium was soothing like that. Soft music played in the background, and the silence that surrounded them was making her fall asleep.
"Now about we see some of the jellyfish and then head to the gift shop?"
"'ift shop?"
"You can get one thing alright?"
Trinity perks up excitedly and gets up as Baran holds her hand, keeping her next to her as they move throughout the aquarium. As they get to the jellyfish, they float around, with the little watching in awe.
Pretty, huh baby?" Trinity nods and starts biting her nails until Baran tsks and hands her a toy to gnaw on.
They head over to the gift shop and Trinity beelines to a large whale plush, squealing as Yolanda gets it. "Okay, this counts as your one thing, okay?" They walk over and pay and before heading to the car as Trinity skips ahead of them.
"She's gonna fall asleep the second we hit the road, B." Yolanda says with a laugh, only looking over and seeing the other woman staring down at the ground.
"..."
"Baran?"
Baran looks up. "Uh, yeah totally, she'll be out like a light."
Yolanda nudges her shoulder. "Hey, that wasn't on you today, alright? We just need to get better at keeping her from wandering off."
"But what if she got too far, or ended up in the road, or-"
"You're spiraling hun."
Baran sighs and nods, before looking at Trinity, who's excitedly watching a butterfly fly around. "I know, I just-can't help but worry sometimes."
"I mean, not now, but at some point we should talk to her about it."
Baran agrees with Yolanda's words as they get to the car. She helps Trinity buckle in before kissing her forehead. "You like your plushie hun?"
The girl sleepily nods as she cuddles it. "'hank you mama." She murmurs, trying to keep her eyes open.
Baran kisses her head one more time and hands her her pacifier before closing the door and hopping in the passenger seat.
Yolanda starts the car and starts pulling out of the spot as she starts the drive home.
"Hey Yolanda?"
Yolanda turns to look at her.
"Thank you, for today. Don't think I could do this without you."
Yolanda spares her a small smile. "You know I'm always here." She glances at the rear view mirror at Trinity dozing off, holding her plushie and suckling on her pacifier.
"Now let's get this troublemaker to bed."

ty for reading!! this was also very cute to write!
Do you think you can do caregivers baran and yolanda taking care of little! trinity while she's sick and they give her so much love/attention because they know she was denied that?
i hope this is okay - i touched a lot on trinity’s prior trauma & how that impacts her responses to care. this was also the first time i’ve written cg!yolanda so i hope i did her justice! it was really nice to dig into her some more. also writing this from the hospital so it might be extremely self indulgent …
trinity’s regression is always messy, but when she’s sick so many “bad” childhood traits resurface. it’s a consequence of her inability to mask — when she’s gotten to a point where her illness is known, it’s because she has no strength left to fight. it makes trin get so whiny and fussy. she says “no” to anything and everything & she pushes her cgs away when they try to show her love. she doesn’t mean to — she doesn’t want to argue. but everything else is out of her control and this is the only way she knows how to cope.
yolanda doesn’t get it at first. she knows trinity isn’t trying to be difficult. but she doesn’t understand why trinity is demanding they leave, then fighting when they do.
they have one particularly hard morning where yolanda is trying to get trin to take her tylenol. trinity is fighting it — pushing yolanda’s hand away each time she brings the cup towards her mouth. yet their fingers are intertwined and trinity is holding onto her so tight — refusing to let go. if yolanda even tries to move, trinity will cry and hold on tighter.
the moment brings recognition. something settles as yolanda takes in trinity’s expression and engulfs her in her embrace. the younger girl melts into her and settles softly against her chest. and as yolanda holds her, she knows she might not see the full picture, but that she doesn’t need to. she loves trinity enough to her stability, and that needs no explanation.
for baran, this patience seems to come naturally. she always gives trinity choices to make it easier — “do you want to take your medicine with juice? or with your soup?” even if trinity is too small to make the decision, baran will give her a chance to try.
being sick is one of the things that makes trinity regress very young. she gets gets so cranky and so fussy but really just wants to be held. she’ll almost always settle when she’s in bed, laid against baran’s chest. baran will rub patterns against trinity’s back and guide her breathing until she’s calm again.
whenever they’re separated, even if it’s just for a moment, trinity will start to cry. she doesn’t reach for anyone else, doesn’t seek out contact, just holds herself and puts her fingers in her mouth as sadness takes over. when baran returns and pulls trinity back into her lap, there’s often a moment of anger or increased upset from trinity. it isn’t intentional — just her brains instinctive response to perceived abandonment. still, baran will hold her close until trinity feels secure again, reminding her that she isn’t going anywhere.
they both remind her so often that she isn’t bad for being sick. she’s allowed to need help and show she’s uncomfortable. in the beginning, trinity tries to resist this. even when she’s the crankiest little thing from how bad she feels, she rejects the reassurance. but as trin gets used to their care, she learns to let herself show she isn’t feeling well before she’s fully dropped. the first time a 5yr-old-regressed trinity openly admits to baran she isn’t feeling well feels like the biggest break through
little!trin who always loses her barbie’s clothes- like too the point that yolanda and baran get surprised to see clothes ON the dolls. they go though her toy box and play “guess the occupation” with each doll.
i loved finding the pics for this… i love their dynamic in my mind palace :3! puppy trin on a hike with garcia and she’s fighting for her LIFE making sure trin stays in her eyeline and doesn’t hike too far while trin is like ^_^ yayyy hiking with mama and i get to climb stuff!!!! also trin trinket collector is canon to ME. she has adhd so bad guys
Could you please do trinity in baby headspace and just wanting to be cuddled up with her caregivers (yolanda and parker) as well as wanting to be fed a bottle?
Okay okay okay okay. (Board exam pt 2 day I passed the first one! lol, so I’m taking a study break to answer a few!)
“Come on Say mommy.” Parker tried to convince the girl. Trinity just smiled and babbled. It was always a battle, seeing whose name she’d say first, it was normally a toss up. Some days when Trinity was this small it was all mama, others it was mommy mommy mommy.
“That never works, you know.” Yolanda said, yelling from the kitchen.
“Pot call kettle, I heard you when I was in the restroom.” Parker yelled back. Trinity whines, wanting attention on her. She reached up to Parker. “How can I help you baby girl?” Parker tickled her tummy, but she continued to whine and reach up. “Ohhh I see, does my girl want some cuddles?” Parker said as she scooped Trinity up. The girl smiled and snuggled into her mommy’s chest wrapping her arms around her neck.
“Don’t let her fall asleep before I’ve made her bottle! I know we’re not getting her to eat a full meal when she’s this small.” Yolanda yelled, as she was finishing mixing up the bottle. Trinity wasn’t often this small but they always had protein shakes on hand, just in case.
“Did she really have that rough of a day?” Parker asked, carrying and rocking Trinity gently as she walked into the kitchen.
“School bus crash, lots of kids.” Yolanda said, remembering the back to back to back traumas.
“Yup, understood.” Parker looked down at the girl, “you hungry baby, we can go sit on the couch and mama can feed you your bottle, okay?” Trinity just cooed. Parker carried the girl back to the living room, Yolanda close behind. Trinity was situated into sitting with her body leaning against Yolanda and her feet in Parker’s lap. They put on quiet older cartoons in the background, and Trinity was content. Taking a bottle from her mama while her mommy ran a smooth firm hand up and down her legs.
what do u think little whitsantos' idealll playdate is like !!! (ft cg's garshimi for trin + rabbot for dennis ofc)
In Whitaker and Santos’ world, it’s a day spent together and their caregivers getting along.
Trinity still likes uncle Robby and uncle Jackie, even if her mamas don’t love how specifically Robby treated her when she regressed with them. Denny and Trinity are happy to do pretty much everything and anything together. Hiking is a highlight though.
They both climb on rocks, and find little critters they love. Baran makes sure Trinity gets sunscreen lathered on (she hates it), and Garcia makes sure her boots are on tight. Robby and Jack do similar for Dennis, though he’s more receptive to their preening. (Robby gloats in his head that he’s sure he could get Trinity not to whine about sunscreen). At one point Baran and Garcia leave Trinity with Jack and Robby while they scout around for somewhere to set up for dinne.
Trinity and Dennis are playing and Trinity trips and falls and starts SOBBING. Robby is not used to this, his little bug would never cry like that from a little scrape. He freezes. Jack manages to get her assessed and it’s not too bad but she’s still crying.
Baran hears her girl crying and come sprinting back asking her what’s wrong. Trinity whines that it “hurts mama,” Baran does her own assessment and kisses Trinity’s palms and knee. The girls tears dry up and she brightens, which surprises Robby.
Dennis and Trinity go back to playing and are the most happy, and love chasing each other and make each other s’mores.
About your AU hoe do you think Yolanda and Baran fidn out about how Robby treated littel Trinity, or like when Trinity frist starts regressing with them is that hoe they find out (i hope I worded this right lol)
I think it’s just casual things that Trinity just says.
Like you know how toddlers will just say shit? She does that.
Lots of:
Yolanda: Trinity, do you want to pick what movie we watched.
Trinity: Can we watch Princess movies??? Denny didn’ like ‘em so Robby never lemme watch ‘em.
Yolanda: (holding back anger) Of Course sweetheart!
And
Baran: Don’t you want to come out and play at the park?
Trinity: No Mama! Who’s gonna protect the house!
Baran: what baby?
Trinity: Mr Robby always said I gotta stay and protect the house while he and Denny went places!
Baran: (frustrated) We have the alarm for that honey, let’s go get dressed okay?
And basically that forever, and like my last ficlet where Baran picks up Trinity.
