âIâm tired of this, Tetsu,â you tell him in an irritated tone while you aid your weeping son who kept insisting heâd wait for his dad to come home no matter how late. And Tetsu? Well, your husband unfortunately just came back home from work. Not to mention that itâs midnight. He sighs deeply, rubbing his temple, âLook, I didnât ask for this either, alright? Donât blame it all on me,â he defends. âDidnât ask for it? Well maybe if youâd just learn how to say ânoâ to work, then things might be a tad bit better, yeah?â you bite back. âAh, so what youâre trying to say is that itâs all my fault?â he asks, looking at you intently. You surrender, âNo, itâs not that I just,â you take a deep breath, trying to exhale all the pain you feel, âItâs nothing, Iâm probably just tired. Iâm sorry, Tetsu.â He loosens his tie, quietly walking towards you while your little Jason starts to fall asleep. âIâm sorry, darling. I know I havenât made much time for you and Jason but once workâs done, I promise Iâll make it up to you,â he hugs you and Jason, leaving you with a kiss on the forehead. He makes his way to the bathroom without knowing about the tears building up in your eyes. Your eyes which he used to compliment all the time but is now too busy at work to even look at you. And that promise heâs made over and over again for the past five years? Always forgotten. You donât even expect much anymore.
You bring Jason into his room and lay him on his bed. You sit on the bedside and stare at your sleeping son. Heâs grown so much. Heâs five now and you canât even get to provide him a happy little family who could at least spend the weekends together. Sure, the material things you could both give him, but not the emotional things that a child would need, and that makes you feel guilt. You give him a good night kiss on his forehead and start to head out. You walk to the refrigerator to catch some water. As you pour water, hands loop around your waist and a head rests at your shoulder. âIâm sorry, Y/N,â he apologizes, âI know itâs been hard, and Iâm sorry that Iâm not always physically present.â You could feel the tears burn up in your eyes again. Tears for what could be but canât be. âTetsu, Iâve been thinkingâŠâ you mumbled. You clear your throat, âIâve been thinking of getting a divorce.â The hands on your waist fall and the head on your shoulder lifts up. âWhat?â he says, almost demandingly, âAm I hearing this right?â You turn to look at him and leave the glass of water on the counter, âIâm sorry, Tetsu. I just think that this would be better for Jason. Perhaps by then heâd at least get the chance to spend time with both of us, even if itâs individually,â you explain. âWait, wait, wait, are you⊠how long have you been thinking about all of this?â he asks in suspicion. âTetsu, thatâs out of the point. The thought just passed my mind, the thought that maybe Jason would be better off with separate parents rather than married parents who fight every night. Every single night, Tetsu. I always,â your voice starts to break, tears streaming down your cheeks, âI always feel guilty because Jason would have to go through such a thing at a young age. I donât want that for him.â He holds your face with both of his hands and he lays his forehead on your forehead, looking at you, his eyes almost pleading. âBut I love you,â he speaks, almost in a whisper. âAnd I love you too, Tetsu. So, so much.â you confess. âBut I also love our little Jason,â you look into his eyes as your tears drip onto the marble floor. You softly remove his hands off of your face, âIâm sorry, I just canât,â you cried, gently holding his hands. He looks down at the floor, still processing the things that have been happening. Processing the things that have happened in the last five years. Possibly going back to the times you and he were so excited to have the baby delivered.Â
You then turn and go to the bedroom that you share with Tetsu while he stays still in front of the fridge. He felt his whole world stop. Almost as if his whole body is now paralyzed. Then he finally breaks, sobbing, holding onto the counter. He has no idea what to do next. You have no idea what to do next. You both burn in the same fire yet itâs as if a thick wall separates you both, leaving you unable to help each other.
The next day, you wake up to the sound of Jason laughing. Full of curiosity, you stand up and take a glance at the bed. Tetsuâs side was neater, unmoved. Did he sleep on the couch? Your heart broke at that thought. You slowly open the door, meeting with a lovely sight. Tetsu was cooking breakfast while carrying Jason, tickling his face with his nose. What a sight, indeed. As if the thought of Tetsu sleeping on the couch wasnât cruel enough to break your heart. Your heart aches at the sight, wishing this was a daily basis. Wishing this was the family Jason had every day. But now that you think about it, did Tetsu not attend work today? Not that it matters, he probably took a day off work so you could both work on the papers. âGood morning, whatâre you both cooking?â you ask them in a cheerful tone, putting up an act. âWeâre cooking pancakes. Right, Jason?â Tetsu responds. âYes! Daddy said he did not go to work so we could spend the day together!â Jason exclaims, giving you both a big smile. You were quiet for a quick moment but you quickly recover your smile, âIs that so? Well, are you excited Jason?â you ask him, taking him from Tetsu so he could start cooking properly. âYes, yes, yes!!!â He repeats excitedly. âThatâs good, but we gotta eat breakfast first, okay?â you tell him as he nods in response.
Later, when you were all ready to go, you all ride the car and get on your way to your agenda. Though itâs only Tetsu who knows about it. You and Tetsu kept quiet the whole ride while Jason kept himself busy watching at the road. And when you finally arrive at your destination, Jason excitedly jumps. It was his first time to go to an amusement park, and yours too. Knowing that fact, you looked at Tetsu, giving him an appreciative smile. Hours later, you all finally decide to go back home. Or so you thought. âWhat do you think of visiting Grandma, Jason?â Tetsu asks Jason. âYes!!!!!!â Jason happily shouts. You look at Tetsu as he drives, so this was his plan, huh? Is he gonna tell his mom about the divorce now? You were left with thousands of questions on the way to Grandmaâs house.
When you finally arrived, the three of you greeted Grandma with cheerfulness. Her house, still the same with its comfortable and feel-at-home vibe. Then, the three of you caught up with Grandma and you were expecting Tetsu to bring up the divorce, but he didnât. Instead, âWell, weâll leave Jason with you for a couple of hours, ma. You know we gotta have time for ourselves as well,â Tetsu winks while Grandma laughs. You join the laughter but knowing that wasnât really the case made your heart drop. The whole time, you and Tetsu kept quiet, leaving an awkward atmosphere. âSorry about this, Tetsu,â you apologize, your voice shaking. He keeps his eyes on the road, keeping his cool face. The silence went on for a while, taking over the whole car. âYou know I still love you, right?â he finally responds. Tears start to build up in you. Before you could find words to reply, âAnd I always will,â he adds. As if that helped you feel any better. âI love you too, Tetsu.â You tell him in a whisper, looking outside the window. Those were the last words you told each other before you went and worked on the divorce papers.
âJason? Can you come here for a minute, honey?â you kindly ask of Jason. Jason stood up, walking over to you and Tetsu with curiosity in his eyes. You pat down the empty seat on the couch that you and Tetsu are sitting upon. You hold his hand, âMe and Daddy made a decision,â you pause, not being able to go on. But you must, âweâre gonna live somewhere else, okay? Just you and me, a little far from here.â Jasonâs curiosity turns into concern, âBut why, Mommy? What about Daddy? Is he gonna live here alone?â Jason asks worriedly. Your heart breaks at his questions. âYes, honey. But donât worry, we can always visit Daddy on weekends. Is that alright?â you ask in a trembling voice while Tetsu keeps his head down, eyes stuck on the floor. âOnly on weekends?â Jason pouts. âYes, only on weekends. But it's better than never, right?â you try to convince him. âYeah,â he pauses, his voice getting sadder by the moment, âOkay, Mommy.â He hugs the both of you. So much suffering for someone so young.
It's only been a few months since the divorce. You and Jason moved away, but not too far from your former house. Things have been hard but better now that you donât have to worry about the time Jason spends with his Father. I mean, compared to before, Jason and Tetsu can finally spend time even if only for two days. Unlike before, the time they both spend together were uncertain. Nevertheless, co-parenting isnât easy but easier than what you both expected. For the first week, Tetsu didnât really have a plan so you all just ended up hanging out together in his house. But the following week, Tetsu had planned to bring you both at the beach. He taught Jason the basics of volleyball while you stood by, watching them have fun while making sandwiches for them. Tetsu kept trying to get you to play with them the way you both used to but you kept denying his offer, perhaps afraid to fall in love with him again and go back to the way it was. But then, did you ever stop loving him?Â
Today, you went to Tetsuâs again, but this time he said he had no plans. You try to think of one to help him but none comes to mind either. âPerhaps this is a sign to just rest in the house again, maybe cook pasta together. Right, Jason?â he speaks about while picking Jason up. âI know!!â Jason exclaims. âLetâs play kitchen! Iâll be the chef and you and Mommy are my customers,â he suggests. So, Tetsu brought his kitchen set down and set it up for him. You and Tetsu sit on the floor to match your chefâs height. âYou and Mommy sit over there while I cook here,â Jason instructs. Following Jasonâs instructions, you both sit awkwardly while he cooks. He didnât even bother to ask your orders but itâs Jason, he likes surprises. Jason glances at the both of you, âMommy, Daddy?â he stops in the middle of his cooking. âYes?â you and Tetsu answer at the same time. âWhy are you both sitting so awkwardly? Act like youâre on a date! Face each other.â Jason scolds you. âOh, alright buddy. Got it. Now get back to cooking before we start to smell burnt food.â Tetsu obeys. And so do you. So now youâre both awkwardly facing each other. You both try your best not to meet each otherâs eyes but you do once in a while. âSo howâs work?â Tetsu asks, trying to break the silence. âWorkâs alright, how about yours? Your boss still bossing you around?â You attempt to joke, which seems to work because Tetsu chuckled. âYeah, stressful. Thank god he let me take day offs during weekends though,â Tetsu replies. Your conversation kept going after that, and somehow, there was less awkwardness between you and Tetsu. But you did wonder why your chef was taking so long to serve food.
It was almost dusk and you were about to invite Jason to go back home but Tetsu asked you and Jason, âHow about a movie?â and Jason, without hesitation, shouts yes. You sigh, but you canât help but smile because youâre all finally bonding. Tetsu turns the TV on and turns the lights off to set the mood. While he and Jason were choosing which movie to watch, you suggested to make popcorn. They both agreed at that delicious idea. While you were on your way to the kitchen, Tetsu discreetly whispers to Jason, âIf Mommy asks you to go home, tell her that you want to stay for a while more, okay?â Jason snickers at that idea and happily nods. When you came back with the popcorn, they were finally able to choose a movie and they had a strange smile on their faces that made you want to question them but you assumed they were just excited.
Later, when the movie finally showed the credits, you were about to speak and ask Jason to go home since it was starting to get late but Tetsu stops you, âshhhâ he says as he points at Jason whoâs sleeping soundly. You turn the lights on, âOh great, what now?â you whisper-shout at Tetsu. âWell, you guys could spend the night, itâs getting late as well,â he replies in his low voice instead of whispering while picking up Jason to bring him to his bedroom. You were about to oppose to his idea but he had a great point. If you and Jason go home now, heâll wake up and youâll have a hard time bringing him back to sleep. You were cleaning up the living room and the kitchen when Tetsu came out of Jasonâs bedroom. âYou can sleep in my bedroom, Iâll make do with the couch.â He offers. âNo, itâs alright, this is your house. Perhaps it's my turn to sleep on the couch this time.â You insisted. âCome on, you know I donât like seeing you having a hard time,â he teases you with his perfect smile that you canât help but smile back. âAlright, you gotta lend me some clothes though. After all, it was your idea that we spend the night here, right?â you smirk, knowing he probably doesnât know you got him all figured out. âWhat?â he asks in shock, âYou knew? Youâre no fun, miss,â he playfully pouts. âYouâve always been easy to read, Tetsu.â You laugh. So does he, âYeah, you always knew how to read me.â His statement makes you both go back to the old times. The times when you both were the campus couple. But now, youâre both left with awkward silence. âYou know, I miss you.â He confesses. You looked away, trying to avoid his confession. âPlease, Y/N. Give me another chance? Itâs hard to live like this, I still love you. I love you and Jason.â He pleaded. âTetsuâŠâ you hesitate. âTo tell you the truth, I left work,â he confesses once again. You look at him in shock, bringing your full attention to him. âWhat?â you ask, tears building up in your eyes. âI left work because thatâs what took you both from me. And now, I found a new job. Itâs still office work but itâs less busy than the last one. I have more time for you both now. So please, please, Y/N. Please come back home.â He looks at you with pleading in his eyes. âTetsu, I⊠I need to think more about this. Iâm sorry.â You turn to go back to his bedroom, softly shutting the door. Without a pause, you turn back at the door and silently cry against it.Â
The next morning, Tetsu woke up with the sunlight hitting his face. He immediately stood up, remembering what happened last night. He runs to check Jasonâs room, gone. Then he goes to the room you slept in, gone as well. Finally accepting the truth, he lets out a deep sigh, tears burning in his eyes. He shuts the door, having a good cry outside the door. For about half an hour later, he finally stands up. He makes his way to the kitchen to make coffee. Perhaps coffee could help give him energy for the long day today. He sat down on the island chair of the kitchen with his head facing down while he holds his cup of coffee when he hears the door open. He quickly looked up that his neck almost hurt. He was shocked to see who was at the door. It was you and Jason, with your dozen bags. âWeâre back home,â you tell him in a sweet voice, giving him a sheepish smile. He drops his cup of coffee and rushes to both of you, hugging you both very tightly, almost saying he doesnât want to let you go ever again. âOh god, Y/N,â he whispers in relief. Finally, he pulls back, taking a good look at you both, caressing your face, âWelcome back home.â

He was breathing, drunk and alive. Your husband, Ran Haitani, went missing the whole night, and although your marriage was an arranged one and you arenât as close as married couples should be, you were really worried about what mightâve happened to him. Turns out he just went drinking the whole night with his friends and is now sprawled on the floor of your penthouse in broad daylight.Â
âAlright, come on now buddy. We gotta move you to the bed,â you tell him as you pick up his arm and put it over your shoulder. He groans, âBuddy? Hate to break it to you honey but Iâm your husband.â You scoffed, âYeah, my arranged husband. You know we both never wanted this.â You lay him down on the bed and he opens his eyes to look at you, âYou canât be so sure,â he says. âWhat?â you ask in shock and confusion while he closes his eyes shut. âAre you that drunk to be saying crazy things?â you sigh, âIâll get you water, sit down for a moment.â You walk towards the fridge to get a glass of water without knowing Ran has a sly smirk on his face. He wipes it off as soon as you come back with a glass of water though. âHere, drink up,â you spoke while you hold his chin, slowly tilting the glass so he could drink.Â
Later that afternoon, when he finally woke up sober, his first thought was you. âY/N?â he calls out as he walks around, looking for you. âYeah?â you answer him, getting out of the closet, meeting him. He towers you by a lot, so you look up in order to look into his eyes. âThereâs food in the kitchen, in case youâre hungry. Should be able to help with a hangover too.â He looks at you with a question mark written all over his face. âYeah? Well, have you already eaten?â he questions you. Now, you werenât as close as a married couple but you were somewhat close. You often had conversations when youâre both home, you ate meals together. I guess you could say you both were close strangers. Not friends, close strangers. Even friends would know more information about each other, but you two, you know absolutely nothing about each other. Perhaps about each otherâs personality but never about your separate lives. âYeah, yes I have. Iâm actually heading out right now, we ran out of butter. Anything else you want me to buy?â you respond to him. He thought for a minute, âNo, not really,â he reaches for his back pocket and grabs his wallet, âHere, use this,â he hands over his credit card. âNo, itâs fine. I have some cash,â you insisted. âWell, I canât be having my wife pay for the groceries now, can I?â he insisted better. You scoff and give him a little smile, âAlright then, husband.â Teasing as always, you thought as you take his offer and start to head out.
After you successfully bought butter and flavored sparkling drinks for you and Ran, you decided to finally head back home. Home to your penthouse, which you begged for from Ran. Well, to be fair he wanted to live in a whole mansion and you honestly didnât want such a grand thing just for an arranged marriage. He kept insisting on the mansion thing but a penthouse sounded more comfortable for you.Â
You ride the elevator up to your penthouse, meeting with a very big man full of tattoos. It really sends the chills up your spine but you werenât fazed to be met with that kind of man in this area. There are a lot of gangs and such where you and Ran live, so seeing a gangster here and there doesnât shock you at all. Especially since you are in one. But not a single soul knows about that, you rarely even go out, and people during the night canât possibly recognize you. Not that anyone needs to know. But then he strangely smiles when he sees you ride the elevator with him. Lucky you, not only is he a gangster, but heâs a pervert too. How you wished this ride would only last a second.
âWell well well, if it isnât the well-known Vixen.â Your train of thoughts stop at the sudden voice you hear behind you. Shit, you thought, tightening your grip on the grocery bag youâre holding. You could only hope he was talking about someone else, but thereâs no one else except you and him. Him and you. âAnd Bonten Ranâs wife too?â he smugly asks. Bonten? As in the most famous wanted gang in all Tokyo? Pfft, and Ran? No, thatâs impossible. I wouldâve at least known or found out at some point. Right? You slowly turn around him, hoping to turn this situation around as well. âIâm sorry? Well, I sure am Ranâs wife, but Iâm not so sure about the Vixen and Bonten thing youâre talking about,â you give him a forced smile. Why the hell is this elevator ride taking so long, you thought. He laughs, âAre you kidding me, girlie? Ainât no way I would mistake the Vixen for someone else. I know it when I see it.â He lifts his hand, gripping your jaw, testing you, âAinât I lucky now? Boss would sure be happy if I brought the Vixen to him. The Vixen who killed his best friend.â You scoff, âYou wish, now take your hands off of me,â you threaten him. âYou know, now that I look at it, youâre just a weakling. What could that small body of yours do against mine?â he tightens the grip on your jaw. âBut anyway, you donât know âbout your husband?â He sure is talkative. You glare at him and start to hold his wrist, âAbout him and what?â you ask curiously. âBonten.â He says confidently. âHe isnât in Bonten. Now let go before I do things thatâd make you go home crying to your boss.â His eyes widen, he starts to laugh even more loudly, âSo you really donât know about him? When he knows about you? And here I thought you were rumored to be crazily smart.â Heâs really getting on your nerves now. But knows about you? Ran knows everything about you and didnât even bother saying a word? He knows everything about you when you donât know everything about him? Talk about marriage. You slyly get the pocket knife you had in your pocket and quickly swung it on the pulse at his wrist. His eyes widen, his body slowly sliding down the elevator floor. You look down at his body, kicking it to make sure heâs unable. You motioned to put the knife back into your pocket when you noticed the blood on your blouse. Great, this dayâs really been doing nothing but put you in a bad mood. You put the knife back anyway, turning around once again and realizing the elevator buttons were all pushed. No wonder the ride was never-ending. You let out a tsk and patiently wait until you reach your penthouse. Oh, you were so ready to confront your dear husband.Â
As soon as the elevator doors open to your penthouse, you leave the body in the elevator, leaving it up to whoever sees that. To be honest, you could care less about the world because right now all thatâs in your mind right now is killing Ran. You drop the grocery bag at the entrance, angrily removing your shoes as Ran greets you in a cheerful tone. âWelcome back home, Darling.â He doesnât even bother looking at you, heâs too busy watching TV. âYou got something to tell me, honey?â you question him in an angry tone. He was now confused, again. So confused he finally decides to look at you. His eyes widen when he sees the blood on your blouse. âOh my God, Y/N! Is that your blood?â he panics. The genuine worry in his eyes just wants to make you forget about everything and kiss him instead, but no, you and Ran have a lot to unfold. âDonât worry, Love. Itâs not mine.â You respond mockingly. âWhat-â you cut him off, âYou knew about me?? And Bonten???? Whatâs that about! You knew everything about me when I didnât even know a single thing about you!!!â You shout at his face, the betrayal in your eyes visible. His eyes widen even more, âWoah, slow down. What? About you? What do you mean?â Oh now heâs trying to act innocent? âMe! The Vixen! Stop trying to act innocent!!â you remark. âThe Vixen?â he slowly processed this information, then he started to laugh. Now it was your turn to be confused. What was he laughing about? âOh my Darling!â he walks toward you and hugs you. âStop this. It isnât something to celebrate about. Do you have any idea how frustrated this makes me feel? For years! For years I held back from getting to know you because this- this whole thing between us is arranged! I wanted to know so much about my husband even though he was arranged for me but I didnât bother knowing because I thought you didnât want all this! And all of a sudden you know almost everything about me? Do you know how unfair that is to me?â you rant to him, almost running out of breath. He loosens the hug, looking at you genuinely. âWhat?? Whatâs happening now?â you ask, still mad about the things happening. âYou wanted to know more about me?â His voice softens. âOf course I do! Youâre my husband, arranged or not, youâre still my husband so of course Iâd want toâ you start to cry, covering your face. âOh doll face, Iâm sorry.â He leans down and kisses the top of your head. âIâm so sorry,â he whispers. âBut I didnât know you were the Vixen, I never did. And yes, I am a part of Bonten. Iâm sorry I couldnât tell you. You know how I always put makeup on my tattoo just to hide it from you? I was terrified of the thought that youâd be scared of me,â he chuckles. Your tears suddenly stop, now youâre even more confused. âWhat? You didnât know? But the- the man in the elevator told me you knew.â You explain to him, looking up at his eyes. His beautiful, genuine eyes. âMan in the elevator? Is he, you know, the one who owns that blood?â he points at your blouse. âWell yes, he got into my nerves and-â He puts a finger on top of your lips, shushing you. âWell, at least now we know each other a bit better,â he places his forehead on top of yours. âIâm sorry, Y/N. I didnât know. You always went on about how we never wanted this so I figured you didnât want to get too involved in this.â Oh. The silence went on for quite a few minutes. Finally, you found the courage to voice out, âIt isnât too late now, is it?â you asked, almost in a whisper. He softly chuckles at your question, âNo. Of course not, my lovely wife.âÂ

There was this guy at work that you found attractive. His name was Kokonoi. Kokonoi Hajime. He was very kind despite the rumors spreading around the company you both worked in. He was very generous, caring, and funny. Not the âthirsty for moneyâ guy everyone talked about.Â
When you were still new, you werenât yet aware of these rumors about him. He first approached you at lunch break at the very first day of working. âHey rookie!,â he shouted in the whole office. You flinched, looking at the direction where the shout came from. It was an attractive guy waving his hands at you asking for you to wait for him. He ran towards you and spoke, âCome with me, Iâll treat you lunch just for today.â He lightly smiled.
The whole walk on your way to the cafeteria was silent and awkward but when you both reached the cafeteria and ordered food, he started his introductions and you both started to get to know each other.
After your first day at work, you felt more at ease since you made a friend at work on the very first day. You only had hoped your friendship would last even if itâs just until tomorrow.Â
The next day, he again treated you at lunch. He kept insisting and bugging you so, how could you say no? And so, he did that again the next day, the next, the next, and honestly, he did that every single day. But it wasnât just to you, he also treated rookies on their first days at work. Not every day like you though. You heard tons of whispering about him but you paid it no mind because in your point of view, he was so much more different than what the rumors say. You found it strange but at the same time, you felt a bit of âspecial treatment. You werenât complaining though. I mean, who wouldnât want a lifetime of free lunch, am I right?Â
But after a few weeks, you finally had the courage to ask why he was only treating you every single workday to lunch. You both went to a coffee shop near the building you both work in. After he grabbed your coffee from the counter, he walked towards your table and passed your coffee to you. âThanks,â you told him as he hummed in response. âKoko, would you mind telling me why you treat me lunch every day?â you politely asked. He looked at you in a way as if heâs telling you, âAre you seriously asking this?â and he lightly laughed resting his coffee down on the table. âItâs âcause I like you, dummy. Ainât that obvious?â he grabbed his coffee and drank while you. You paused and blushed. He glanced at you and understood what that face of yours that you were making meant. He laughed so loud it brought you back to earth. âNot in that way, idiot. I platonically like you, thatâs why. Besides, youâre the only one sticking by my side even after you heard those rumors about me. And plus, I like someone elseâ He told you. In embarrassment of assuming it was something else, you avoided that part and focused on the last thing he said. âOh? Who is this lucky person that Mr. Koko fancies,â you teased him, smirking. âSheâs in the hospital,â his tone suddenly lowered down a bit. âOh,â you had no words to say, nervous that you may have touched a sensitive topic. âBut itâs alright, sheâs been getting better nowadays,â he continued, bringing back his normal tone. âI see. Thatâs good to hear.â You smiled in relief. âSooo, did you already give her your first kiss?â you once again teased him. âBitch no,â he laughed. âWhat about you? You already gave it to someone?â he asked you. âNo, a first kiss should be saved for someone you truly love⊠I believe.â You hesitantly spoke, afraid that heâll laugh at your words. But he just gave you a hum.
After that day, you felt a bit of spark disappear. Perhaps you were a bit⊠jealous? Disappointed? But thatâs not what matters right now. Right now, you have tons of work due 10 pm.Â
Months passed by, you and Koko ended up getting more closer each month. You were very happy to have a friend like him. Yeah, just friends though. He would often talk about the girl ever since you touched that topic. You discovered her name was Akane.
âTheir house got caught on fire. I rushed in to save her, ended up saving her brother instead. Itâs all because that asshole looks like her.â He laughed it off. âSoon, she was brought to the hospital after rescues came. She looked like roasted bread got into coma. But like I said, sheâs been getting better nowadays, so the doctor says.â He explained. âIâm so sorry you went through that. You must love her so much. I mean waiting for years, damn, youâre one of a kind.â You complimented him. âYeah? I promised myself I wouldnât ever fall in love again unless it was her.â He spoke with such confidence. And talks about Akane happened for many many days. You couldnât even count the amount of times Koko has brought Akane into a conversation. You had no problems with it though, itâs just, you kinda wished it was you he was talking about that way. But it was no use, he was so in love. Everyone could see it easily once he starts talking about Akane. Plus, you didnât wanna act so selfish towards a person you knew you absolutely had no chance with. What a lucky girl Akane was. She has a loyal man waiting for her once she wakes up.Â
For about a year later, you received news. Kokonoi asked you if he could talk to you after work. You were confused but you thought of it as nothing. Hours passed by and it was finally time to go home. You stretched as soon as you got up from your seat but then you remembered that Koko wanted to talk to you. You both decided to talk at the front of the building. And when you arrived, Koko looked anxious.
âSo, whatâs up?â you paused, You look anxious, whatâs wrong?â you continue. âWell uhm, good news, bad news. Good news coming first.â He spoke. âDrop it now then,â you responded. âAkane woke up a week ago-â you cut him off and spoke happily, âOh really??? Iâm happy for you! Did you tell her ab-â he cut you off this time, âY/N, let me finish please.â He spoke in a tone of... guilt? You quickly changed into your poker face, letting him continue. âYes, me and Akane talked now. And we decided it was better if I quit this job and start building our life.â He put so much pressure on the word âourâ that for a millisecond, you felt sad but you remembered you had to feel happy for them. I mean, a week of talking and they're already talking about building their life? Oh how much trust they have in each other. Your trust was nothing compared to theirs.
âYeah?? Thatâs really great!!! Iâm seriously happy for you. You both better invite me at your wedding.â You playfully hit him using your elbow and kept on a smile. âY/N⊠you donât have to filter your words you know,â he held your shoulders, making you look at him in the eye. âWhat do you mean? Iâm seriously happy for you. You donât think Iâm that kind of person, do you?â you lightly laughed.  âBut-â you shushed him, âno buts, so is she in your car? You probably shouldn't keep her waiting, Mr. Gentleman.â You grinned. âYeah,â he took a deep sigh of relief. You gave a wave at the car, in case she was watching you two. âWell, Iâll see you tomorrow. But Iâll probably be too busy packing my stuff.âÂ
âMhm, Iâll see ya.â You watched as he went off to go to Akane in the car. Taking one last look at you, giving you a smile. Perhaps the last smile he'll ever offer to you. You turned to look away. Suddenly rain started to pour heavily. Did the news say it was going to be rainy today? No. It was really an unfortunate day for you. And thatâs when it hit you. Tears started to flood on your cheeks.Â
I guess in the midst of your friendship with Koko, he was just trying to find Akaneâs shadow in you.
okay tons of emojis aside, srsly tysm for thiss! It means a lot to me and I appreciate every little support everyone is giving me<3 I really enjoy seeing people leave hashtags when they reblog and seeing people like my stories. I don't really care if I have lots of followers or not, but seeing people support me warms my heart and I wanna thank everyone for this. My goal is and will always be to cheer people up, make people smile, and make people laugh through my writings. (Which I hopefully do-) I will continue writing for myself and for everyone else. And as I go through this journey, I will hopefully learn so much more about writing. I will enhance my knowledge about writing so I can maybe one day write my very own book. But I still have a long way to go so I wish that you'll be with me 'til that time comes<3
Love you all, stay hydrated and keep safe as always! đ
A/n: This is a bit rushed so I'm extremely sorry if yall didn't like it đ„Č
Today was âwalk-your-dog-in-the-parkâ day and boy, was your dog excited. Your little Pomeranian dog, Bubbles, kept jumping around, barking at you, telling you to act faster. You lightly laughed, âOkay, okay, I just gotta tie my shoes real quick.â Bubbles then spun around and wagged her tail in joy.Â
After tying your shoes, you stood up while Bubbles quickly ran to get her leash and handed it to you. You pat her head and put her leash on and went on your way to the park.Â
Going for a jog while walking your dog to the park at 10:00 a.m. surely was one of your favorite parts of the day when you had a day off of work. Everyone you both passed by were complimenting Bubbles, especially the kids. You enjoy hearing people compliment Bubbles for the cute dog she is.Â
Soon enough, you reached the park and Bubbles again wagged her tail in excitement, seeing other dogs at the park. You both then jogged around the park, Bubbles barking at every dog she sees, and them barking back in a playful way. And while that happened, you would give the dogsâ owners a little smile and theyâd smile back at you. You always thought that whenever the dogs were barking, they were also just trying to greet others as a sign of respect.
Then, you and Bubbles ran onto an intimidating duo. A Doberman and a 6ft tall black-haired guy. You both felt a bit intimidated seeing someone so much taller and bigger than you both were. Your dog, in defense, started to bark. The Doberman barked back. The more the Doberman barked, the more your dog felt terrified. Luckily, the dogâs owner lowered down and calmed his dog down by petting him. He then stood back up as soon as his dog cooled down. âIâm sorry, he fights back quite a lotâ he chuckled, putting his hand at the back of his neck, apologizing on behalf of his Doberman. âŠNow that you take a full look at him, he isnât that bad. Heâs actually quite- ahem- hot.Â
âAh no worries, I think my dog just got intimidated seeing such a big dog.â You responded, letting out an awkward laugh. He lightly chuckled, âYeah? Whatâs your dogâs name? If itâs not rude to ask, that is.â He asked. âHer nameâs Bubbles. What about yours?â you asked back. âHis nameâs Milo-â he got cut off by both of your dogs suddenly getting along and now playfully barking and jumping around. âWell, looks like theyâre getting along now.â He laughed. Damn that smile- *cough* âLooks like it,â you laughed along, continuing, âMy nameâs Y/N, nice to meet you,â you held your hand out to shake his hand as a form of respect. âIâm Kakucho, nice to meet you too Y/N.â He shook your hand back.Â
You both took your dogs to walk together and let them play at the fields of the park. Time passed by, you check your watch to see what time it was. You figured it was time for you and for bubbles to go home. âBubbles!! Itâs time to go!â you shouted as loud as you could since Milo and Bubbles were very far away from where you and Kakucho stood. âGoing home?â Kakucho asked. âYep, maybe Iâll see you again tomorrow? We usually go on walks on weekends. Like I had just told you earlier,â you replied. âSure, see you both tomorrow then.âÂ
Earlier, you both talked and got to know each other a bit more while Milo and Bubbles were playing.
You both watched as Milo and Bubbles ran over to both of you. You both walked on different directions with a sweet smile on your faces. âOH BY THE WAY!!â Kakucho yelled as he turned to your direction, running towards you. You turned back to try and hear what he was trying to say. âAny uh, chance I could get your number? Just for you know, planning walks and stuff,â He told you, looking away, a bit flustered perhaps? âOh sure, itâs xxx-xxxâ you gave him your number. As soon as he got your number, you both officially said your goodbyes and went home.Â
The next day went as planned, except Kakucho treated you to coffee after. You both got to know each other even more and it happens to be that you both were busy during weekdays so you both could only hangout and meet up during weekends. You both would sometimes go out without Milo and Bubbles and just hangout or go on âplatonicâ dates. But as Kakucho got promoted at work, he became busier. Which eventually resulted to the both of you drifting apart.Â
You missed him, he missed you. Bubbles missed Milo, Milo missed Bubbles. Days and weeks passed by, you still havenât gotten a message from him. As much as you wanted to message him, you were worried youâd bother him and distract him from work. You could tell he was so stressed the last time you both face timed. You sometimes would face time at night and watch him do work and get stressed, but he definitely was happy to be around you, even if it was just through face time. The last chat you had was a month ago. It was your chat after face timing. You sadly bore on your chat, wishing he'd somehow chat you any sooner now. You sighed and turned your phone off, deciding to go to sleep.Â
That was until you heard a notification which got you moving like flash- Oh god, it was from Kakucho. Your heart was beating faster than light could ever travel. Heart screaming so loud. You felt both excited and nervous.Â
You took a deep breath and opened his message. But as soon as you opened it, he was calling you. Maybe he's in a rush?- You answered his call. âHey, uhm, you got time tomorrow? Milo misses youâ he spoke in his sleepy voice. You got confused for a second, processing what he just said. â-r dog, Bubblesâ he continued. âMilo misses Bubbles.â He firmly spoke and cleared his throat. You couldnât do nothing but laugh. You could visibly see Kakucho slightly turning red, probably because of your laugh that he hadnât heard for a month. Or your cute sleepy voice. Or maybe every single thing about you that he missed- âMilo misses me?- or do you mean Miloâs father?â you teased him. âShut up.â He told you as he let go of his phone, making you only see his ceiling which only made you laugh even more. You laughed for 2 minutes and as you finally calmed down, Kakucho finally spoke. âI miss you, okay??â He told you in such a serious deep tone meaning he probably finally gave up trying to keep up his front. You froze for a second. Now this time, it was your turn to turn red like a tomato. âIâll see you tomorrow, dumbass.â
You both definitely couldnât sleep that night, blushing.

A/n: B/N means "Boyfriend's name" so yall can name him whatever you like <3
Your boyfriend told you that he and the boys were going out tonight and he told you it was gonna be at his friendâs house. You paid it no mind and thought that he needed time for his friends too.Â
You laid down on the bed, lazily scrolling through your phone. Then you get a notification. It was from Rin. Your old college best friend. Or ex crush, should I say? Well, itâs not like you confessed to him but soon enough, you gladly found a guy at the same college the both of you go to and found interest in him. Which is your current boyfriend. So thankfully, you got rid of your feelings for Rindou. After graduating, you both still had each otherâs numbers and socials so Rin was aware that you now had a boyfriend and you were aware that he was now a DJ. But of course, you both eventually grew apart.
You were shocked to see that Rin had texted you after years. You opened his message and it read, âThis your boyfriend?â and below was a picture. What the fuck did he just send???? âIs this a joke Rindou?â you replied to his message. âItâs real real fyi.â He argued back, sending a video of your boyfriend dancing with a girl. âItâd be nicer if you went here and surprised him too, yeah?â He replied sending you the location of the club they were in.
You were still shocked, hand covering your mouth, processing things. You took a deep breath and asked yourself what to do next. Maybe Rinâs suggestion wasnât bad. You immediately jumped out of the bed after planning what to do. You walked towards your closet and looked for the dress that your boyfriend had told you to throw away because it was too appealing and that other boys would look at you. Yet you never threw it because itâd be a waste for such a lovely dress.Â
Once you found the dress, you changed into it. A crimson red dress that perfectly fits your body. Oh how appealing you actually looked in that dress. You now understood why your boyfriend didnât want you to wear that. You look fucking hot, thatâs why.Â
After admiring yourself in the mirror, you went outside your bedroom, took your car keys, and drove your way to the club. You assumed the drive would take half an hour so you could only hope that when you get there, they would still be present.Â
As each minute of driving goes by, you grew impatient, still annoyed by the thought that heâd cheat just like that. You aggressively tapped your fingers against the steering wheel. Then you sighed in relief when you finally saw the club. It was full of lights and it sure was lively.Â
You parked your car and went out. Gracefully walking towards the entrance and opened the door. The club was surprisingly big and it was blasting bright lights. Not to mention, it was all so crowded too. You looked around the crowd, looking for your boyfriend or Rindou at the very least.Â
Without you knowing, Rindou was at the DJ booth. He was in charge of the club and is the DJ. When he spotted you, even from afar and even in hundreds of crowds, he left the music at default just to go towards you.Â
While you were still lost, looking around, a hand grabbed your wrist. You turned to see who it was. It was Rindou. He was running out of breath, âCome with me,â he spoke and then sprinted as fast as he could to bring you over to the DJ booth so you could have more space and be more comfortable andfind your boyfriend. While you were both running for your lives, and while people looked at you both, leaving them curious, you asked Rindou, âRin??? Youâre running too fas-â he cut you off, âLook, just shut up and follow, okay?â a smile appeared on his face. You could tell he slowed down a bit though. Slowly walking on the three-step stairs, Rindou kept pulling you until you both arrived in the middle of the DJ booth. You confusingly looked at the crowd, processing what just happened.Â
Then you remembered, you were supposed to find your boyfriend but the crowd yelled âOoooo~â in a teasing way. Which made you distracted, in question as to what they were oooo-ing at. Suddenly, Rindou spoke using the mic, âShut up guys,â he chuckled. Voice raspy due to all the running through the crowd that you both did. You almost blushed at his voice which is now a bit lower than it used to be. Perhaps you actually still have a teeny itsy-bitsy crush on him? You shook your head no and started to look around the crowd for your boyfriend.Â
A few minutes passed by, while you were looking for your boyfriend, Rindou kept the crowd entertained with his DJ skills sometimes taking a glance at you to check if you were alright. He tried to focus in DJing but took a good glance at the crowd to help you. When he spotted your boyfriend, he quickly moved your way and whispered to your ear in a low voice, âOver there,â making you flinch a little. You took a glance where Rindou pointed his finger at. Fucking hell. He was still there with the girl. Rindou got back to DJing as soon as you spotted your boyfriend. Then, an idea popped into Rindouâs head. He casually grabbed the mic and handed it over to you while he dropped the beats. A smirk appearing on his face, you got the idea of what he wanted you to do. You grabbed the mic and laughed a bit, too excited as to how your boyfriendâs reaction would be. The whole crowd got confused, âYou motherfucking bitch, b/n!!!â you yelled. Then the crowd hyped you up as you point your finger towards your boyfriend and the girl he was clearly flirting with. Then the people surrounding your boyfriend started booing them. This was going in every way you wanted it to go. And boy, were you grateful for Rindou for helping you with all this.Â
You could care less about your boyfriendâs reaction now. You grabbed the beer on the table, near the DJ booth, which you assume is supposed to be Rinâs but he had tons so you chugged a whole bottle up. Rindouâs eyes widened a bit when you chugged the beer down your throat. âWoah there darling. Slow down, will ya?â he spoke in a way that only you two could hear. âIf this isnât the best night of my life, then I donât know what is.â You told him, leaning on the DJ booth backwards, making the crowd see your back. Slowly, the booze started to affect you. Making you a bit tipsy. Rindou smirked. Another idea popping into his head.
He once again left the music by default and making the lights turn low disabling to see you two. He went in front of you and pinned you down. âFuck y/n. You drive me crazy,â he spoke, sliding one of his legs in between yours, slowly putting pressure on it. You looked at him as your eyes were getting a bit droopy. âMmm? Rin? Is it just me or did it get darker?â you innocently asked. He couldnât help but break character and laugh at your silly reaction. You put your arms around his neck and lean your head on his shoulder, softly inhaling his scent. You were definitely drunk now. Suddenly, you spoke in a slurry way, âIâve always liked you since college, Rin but I didnât tell you becausssseeeâŠâ you stopped speaking, clearly blacked out. Rindou tried to be as calm as he could, until you started hiccupping. He softly laughed and put you down on a chair nearby his DJ booth. Suddenly, his pride is higher than his brotherâs now. He went back to DJing, put the lights back on to normal and kept glancing at you from time to time to make sure you were safe.Â
Goddamn, your dress definitely affected him. So did your beauty and your personality and god he could name hundreds of things he loves about you.
Oh how ready and excited he was to face you tomorrow and wife you up.Â

Hanma was a âtime leaperâ and Kisaki was his said âtrigger.â You and Hanma were married in the future that he is in as of the moment. Knowing heâs still a gangster âtil this day, you were used to him going out at night.
Drinking with Kisaki late at night, Hanma was drunk and out of his mind. Thankfully, he still knew he was married to a gorgeous woman like you. Kisaki was also drunk but he still was a bit sober. At least, sober enough to tell Hanma to go home to you since it was very late now. âHah??? If I get home ââ Hanma almost hit his head on the table because he was wiggling around, â- will you drink all this leftover booze?â Hanma asked. âOf course, who do you think am I to leave all this booze? Thatâd be a waste,â Kisaki answered. âThen I wonât go home âtil we finish all this, you needa share it with me you greedy man.â He argued. Kisaki clicked his tongue, âFine, if you leave now, Iâll leave too. Now go back to your damn wife.â Hanma scoffed, âAlright, deal then,â he shook Kisakiâs hand causing Kisaki to widen his eyes. âYou bastard! What are you doi-â Kisaki cut off.Â
Hanma now was in the streets. It was dark and quiet but he supposed it was about dawn. Too quiet that it makes his ear ring. But even in his past body, he was still drunk. When he finally recognized where he was, he unconsciously walked towards your apartment that you both shared before you were both married. Your apartment has been as it is since you were a student so gladly you actually lived there even in the past timeline.Â
Quietly entering your apartment, he sat down on the couch and tried to get sober. It didnât help though, but he thought he was slowly getting sober when in truth, he was just slowly falling asleep. That was until he heard your door open. He sat properly, trying to pretend to be sober.Â
You woke up and got thirsty so you decided to go to the kitchen to grab some water. Wiping your eyes, trying to fully wake yourself up, you saw someone on the couch. âWHAT THE FUCKâ you shout whispered, managing to process that if you screamed too loud, your neighbors would file another noise complaint. âGood Morning Darlin-â he spoke, slurring his words. âWho the fuck are you- wait is your head bleeding? NO WAIT WHY ARE YOU EVEN HEREâ you asked. Hanma slowly understood the âhead bleedingâ part so he lifted his right hand to check his head. When he felt a wet part, he checked his hand only to see he actually had blood on his head. âIâm fine but how do you not know me, sweetheart?â he asked in a pout. âYou even told me your vows,â he continued. âIâm sorry?- What vows?â You were very confused. âLook, Iâll help you with your bleeding head but after, you probably should go home to your ACTUAL wife because mister- you got the wrong person.â You continued, grabbing the aid kit above the kitchen cabinet. You slowly approached him, opening the kit to grab a cotton and poured some betadine. You turned on the lamp near the couch so you could see where his wound was coming from. Getting tweezers and picking the cotton up to slowly pat the cotton on his wound. Hanma closing his eyes in a way you could tell it stung. You felt bad and spoke before you even thought, âIâm sorry, just a bit more and itâll be done.â Hanma opened his eyes and took a close peak at you. He whispered to himself, âWrong timeline. Whoops.âÂ
âHmm? What was that-?â you softly spoke. âNothing. Just looks like the future would be sooo much better this time,â He chuckled.

You and the Haitanis were very good friends since you were around eleven or twelve years old. It all started when they happened to find you alone on the streets at night while they were both doing their thing, sitting in front of a light pole with a little pout visible on your face. Ran kept convincing his brother to approach you since Rin kept telling him to leave you alone.Â
But later on they finally approached you. âWhatâs wrong, Chibi-chan?â Ran asked you. You looked up to see who it was, âItâs nothing,â you answered. âHmmm,â he hummed. âWould you like to go on in an adventure with us?â He once again asked. You look at both of them, Ran giving you a smile and putting his hand out while Rin looked away with a grumpy face.Â
They both then walked you around the neighborhood and soon, dropped you in front of your house just to ensure you went home safely. Ever since then, the three of you always hanged out. Since you didnât know any other way to contact them, youâd always wait for them where they found you, in front of the same light pole.
As the three of you grew up, you eventually got their contacts, sometimes theyâd disappear somewhere out of Roppongi for âbusiness purposesâ they said, but you knew what it was about. Everyone got along well, youâd often visit their house too.Â
You and Ran had the same energy so you share laughs with him and as for you and Rin, well itâs not like you both shared the same vibe but you both got along well. Sometimes heâd laugh at your humor, sometimes giving you a serious look signaling it wasnât funny but youâd both end up bursting into laughter after.Â
Years later, Ran invited you to their house because apparently, they were throwing a party tonight, which was a surprise since Ran was usually annoyed whenever Rin would throw parties. Of course, you accepted their invitation. But Ran asked you to go earlier than the time given for the actual party, you wondered why but you brushed it off. The moment you went inside their house, you understood why Ran wanted you to attend earlier.
Your eye twitched, âI see now.â You spoke while Rin and Ran told you, âWelcome Back~â without even glancing at you, doing their own thing. âOh my goooddâ you whined. âOh my god~â the brothers mocked you in sync. You could only sigh and leave your belongings on the kitchen counter. Moving to clean their messy ass house. âYour Majesties, sorry to disturb your precious resting time but will you please help me clean your own house?â you asked in sarcasm. They both lightly laughed before standing up to help you clean the house for the party.Â
Later, when the three of you finally finished, it was only minutes before people would start coming for the party. The three of you sighed and sat down on the sofa.Â
âI canât believe you both decided to throw a party then make a guest clean your own house for you,â you spoke. âAt least we helped you clean though.â Ran told you. âOh right, Iâm sorry I forgot that part,â you rolled your eyes. Rindou kept quiet, leaning his head back on the sofa, clearly visible that he got tired. Then, the three of you shared silence until their doorbell rang. âOooo~ Here they areâ Ran immediately stood up, excited to have guests finally come in. Rin also stood up, on his way to his DJ booth and play some music. You now could hear lots of people, both men and women, go inside their house. You still sat down on the sofa, closing your eyes and throwing your head back, trying to take a quick break. When a random man whistled, âWow, whoâs this hot chick you got here?â You opened an eye, trying to figure out who he meant, when you realized he was talking about you, you glared at him. Making Rin smirk, âLeave her,â he firmly told the guy. The man got weirded out so he ignored both of you, trying to hit on other women who were invited to the party instead.
It started to get noisier so you went to get some wine on the shelf at counter bar. Their shelf was mostly filled will Mont Blanc wine so you just picked up whatever and poured some into a glass. âPour me some, will ya?â a voice spoke behind you, you turned to see who it was. It was Rindou. You poured wine into his glass, both of you enjoying your drinks until Ran announced. âThereâs more booze everyone!!!!â He yelled as loud as he could to overlap Rindouâs music playing in the background.Â
âWhatâs up with him today? You both seem to have switched souls or something,â you laughed. âDonât know, maybe heâll die soon,â Rindou joked. You gasped so loud that Rindou laughed hard. âDonât joke about your brother like that!!â You said in between of your laughs.Â
Lots of things happened that night, a lot of partying and a lot of women gushing over the Haitani Brothers, some trying to hit them up. But eventually, Ran got drunk and got annoyed, going back to his own self, so he left and went to sleep. Everyone else was drunk except for you and Rin. Rin decided to wrap things up and make everyone leave.
You and Rindou were the only ones left to clean up all the mess. It was quiet now. You picked up the trash and Rindou collected the bottles and glasses. While you were both at the counter bar, cleaning, you slipped. Thankfully, Rin was quick to put his hand behind you and saved you from tripping. âA bit tipsy now, arenât we?â He chuckled while a blush appeared on your face. At first, he was confused but when he realized, he immediately helped you stand up and let go of your back, a blush also appearing on his face.Â
You cleared your throat, âSorry,â you mumbled. There was a moment of silence after you apologized. Rin put both of his hands on both of your sides, pinning you on the counter. He put his head on your shoulder, âEh?? Rin?- Are you okay?â you worriedly asked.Â
âDonât apologize.â He firmly spoke, he then raised his head, and went eye to eye with you. Slowly, he went closer to your face until he was only a breath away from you, sometimes glancing at your lips.Â
âAnd here, I thought you told me we shouldâve left her alone the night she was alone in the streets.â Ran spoke.
A Sanzu Haruchiyo x F!reader ff made for Sanzu Week 2022!

A/n: This is a compilation of the Sanzu Week 2022 series that I wrote!!
Your dad and the Akashi siblingsâ dad were good friends even before you all had been birthed into this world. The moment your dad found out Mr. Akashi was having his first child, they both celebrated in joy.Â
A few years later, your dad and Mr. Akashi found out that both of them were having children at the same time. Making Mr. Akashi have his second child and you, your dadâs first child.  Just like most moms, the dads also talked about how you guys could be good friends just like them. Mr. Akashi naming his son Haruchiyo and your dad naming you Y/N.Â
Now everyone was excited for your birth, but things happened. Your mom is a very busy worker who most of the time canât come home due to her career meaning your dad does all the mom work. But Mr. Akashi said that his wife, Mrs. Akashi, could help him when he doesnât know what to do and that both of them would be there to help.Â
Of course, as kids you both didnât remember your times together. Then, Mrs. and Mr. Akashi got news again. Sanzu was having a little sister!! You both were still quite young so you and Haru didnât really celebrate much. As soon as Senju, Sanzuâs younger sister, was birthed, Sanzu really thought she was beautiful, which she truly is. And you, you also thought she was very gorgeous. Aside from that, itâs like youâre having a sibling of your own too! Since you mostly hangout in the Akashi household. Soon enough, the three of you were starting to grow up so you could see more features of yourselves than before.Â
As you grew up, Sanzu made his own friends with Takeomiâs friendâs siblings and started to hang out with them! While Sanzu hangs out with them, you and Senju would usually play dress up. But when you werenât present, Senju would play with Sanzu and his friends, sometimes picking up their manly accent.Â
One day, Takeomi and Sanzu were going to their friendâs household for a meeting and for Sanzu to play with his friends. Then Senju wanted to come with them and invited you to come along. Who were you to say no to meeting new friends and having fun with them, right? Or so you thought.
Senju introduced you to them. âMikey and Baji, this is our friend, Y/N. Sheâs a lovely girl and sheâs like an older sister to me. Be kind to her just like you are to me!!â Senju warned them. âY/N, this is Mikey and Baji. Theyâre very nice and very kind gentlemen!â Senju exclaimed. Sanzu giving everyone a smile, keeping quiet and waiting for the introductions to finish so all of you could play.
After all introductions, everyone decided to finally play but Mikey announced, âSince we have a new friend, today is a special play day!â he spoke with confidence while everyone else tilted their head a bit, showing curiosity and confusion. Mikey went into his room for a minute and went out with something hidden in his hand, hiding it behind his back. âWhat are you hiding, Mikey?â Baji asked, trying to peak as to what Mikey was hiding. âI have a very cool surprise!! And none of you must touch it except for me,â Mikey said in a serious tone. Everyoneâs eyes shone in excitement.Â
âJa-Jan~!â Mikey said in surprise, showing his airplane model that his big bro, Shinichiro, made for him. He told everyone about how long it took Shin to finish which is why no one except him can hold the plane since it holds a special place in his heart. No one would want to see Mikey get mad, right? So none of you dared to touch the plane, everyone only played along with Mikey until you heard Senju scream in excitement that she wants one too but Takeomi, their older sibling, got mad at Senju for using such manly vocabulary which lead to Takeomi blaming Sanzu for it while you just stood there, wanting to do at least something but you were just a kid. A kid who was just like them, unlike Takeomi who basically took care of his siblings and played the father role for them ever since Mr. Akashi had been straying around due to the disappearance of Mrs. Akashi. It does make sense since Sanzu and Senju always hangout, but you still thought that it wasnât totally Sanzuâs fault because as a kid, and a boy, itâd be normal for him to talk in a manly way which would make Senju pick it up. You felt down on their behalf.Â
Later, Sanzu went missing so you went to look for him to comfort him. When you finally spotted him, you were about to shout his name, but you saw him and Senju talking. So, you may or may not have heard the conversation they had. You were shocked but it wasnât a rare occurrence for siblings to one day âhateâ each other because of the nuisance the other is causing. You were an only child, but you always looked at siblings' relationships from afar making you understand different points of view making people think youâre so  âmaturedâ but in the end, youâre still a kid who wanted to enjoy your childhood.Â
Moments later, while you and Senju were reading manga, you heard screams. Making you and Senju flinch. You both ran to where the screams were coming from as soon as you could. The moment you arrived there, your eyes widened, heart beating faster than normal and mind blank. All you saw right at the moment was blood coming out of Sanzuâs mouth, blood on Mikeyâs hand, and blood all over on the floor. Your breath hitched, not knowing what to do. All you could do was stare and stand there. You couldnât even think of how Senju was probably so scared, witnessing this scene. âWhat should I do? What is happening? Why wonât my body move?â clouded your mind. Mind full of questions, you heard voices but your mind couldnât pick it up well. You assumed Senju felt the same too.Â
Soon, Senju left on the verge of tears since Takeomi and Shinichiro told everyone they were going to visit the Shop for a minute, telling everyone should behave well.
Sanzu kept still so you decided to take this as an opportunity to talk to him about things. And it took a while for Sanzu to vent quite a lot of things thatâs been bothering him. It all stopped when you heard a thud coming inside, so you asked Sanzu, âShould we check what that thud was?â But Sanzu shook his head no and replied, âYou go on ahead, y/n.â You went to check and explored the Sano Household until you saw Senju crying on the floor. Asking what happened, she told you it was nothing but you assumed it was still because of the conflict between her and Sanzu. This time, you comfort Senju and asked her if she wanted to go and read manga since Shinichiro told you to make yourself at home and read some manga or play if you wanted to.Â
The moment you finally came back to your senses, all you could think of was to tell anyone. Be it anyone but a kid like you. Could be Shin or Takeomi. So you ran in their household until you found the front gate. You went outside to see if there were any people who could help. Running out of breath, you found some people in the distance so you ran as fast as you could towards them. Until you bumped into them. Ah, it was Shin and Takeomi on their way home. You were running after your breath so you couldnât tell them as soon as possible. Soon, tears started dripping down to your cheek which made the both of them shocked, asking, âHey hey, what happened? Are you okay?â Shinichiro softly spoke trying to calm you down. âDid something happen?â Takeomi asked. You couldnât mutter words at the moment due to the shock kicking in so the least you could do was point at the house and Shinichiro ran towards the house as fast as he could to find out what happened. Then Takeomi was left with you to calm you down. âHey Kid, calm down, okay? Shin already went there. Whatever it was that happened, itâll be okay,â you could tell he was trying hard to sound calm but you knew that he was nervous to find out as to what exactly happened.Â
Later, Takeomi finally was able to invite you back home. You were still sniffling, holding his hand on the way home. He could tell you were shaking. So much. Then the moment you both came inside the house, you were greeted by everyone in the living room. Mikey being calm and composed while Baji was in shock. Senju crying and Sanzu with bandages on the sides of his mouth and some other parts of his face that Shin put on for him. Shinichiro looked serious. Looking directly at Mikey. It already looked like they were talking about what happened but silence came in when you and Takeomi came back home.Â
Takeomi immediately let go of your hand and ran towards Sanzu and Senju. Takeomi was too shocked to say anything else. All he could do was hug Sanzu and Senju.Â
Later, everyone had a talk. A long and serious one. Everyone now knew what happened but the reason? Mikey didnât talk about it. Or should I say, he never talked at all.Â
This event truly traumatized you all. After your dad knew about this, he told you to avoid them from now on. It was only sometimes when youâd get to hang out with Sanzu and Senju again. You were isolated inside the house. It left you all alone in your own household. Basically becoming an inside child. It lasted long until you finally became a teenager. Of course, you wondered how everyone was doing now. So you decided to visit the Akashi household. And here you are now, in front of the Akashi household, rethinking your life choices.
You were nervous. Unaware of how they would react. You wanted to turn back and leave but deep down, you missed them. So much. Taking a deep breath, and convincing yourself itâll be alright, you rang the doorbell. As seconds passed by, the more you felt cold sweat break through. Until finally, the doorknob slowly moved. You felt even more nervous, scared to confront them after years but you swallowed your pride and faced whoever it was behind the door.Â
It was Senju. She was all grown up just like you. Senju gasped in surprise. Running into you, hugging you. A few tears dripping from the both of you explained how much you both missed each other without having to speak words.Â
âIs this â Is this really you? Y/N?â Senju asked, âYouâre all grown up now,â she added. âYouâre all grown up too,â wiping the tears off your face. âHow have you been???â You replied, âIâve been doing pretty okay, how about you? And the others?âÂ
Your conversation went on for a while so Senju decided to invite you inside. You noticed that the house was pretty empty and quiet so you asked Senju in curiosity, âWhere are your brothers?â the smile on her face fading away. You tilt your head a little to the side, âIf itâs personal then itâs okay ââ you were cut off. âHaru-nii went missing.â She said in despair. You were shocked. Flashbacks of the incident appearing in your head. âE- eh?â you stuttered. âWe were all doing okay but one day he- he just disappeared. Everyone did. We all cut off ties,â Senju spoke in a guilty tone.Â
You tried to cheer the mood up by switching topics but it didnât seem to work. Moments later, you just decided to go home and wrap it all up. Thinking where they could all be and why they disappeared all of a sudden. It took a while for you to fall asleep that night. Mind filled with thoughts. But you decided to cope with it just like Senju did. Sometimes, meeting up with her and hanging around the town.
You found yourselves in the park later on. You wanted to ask him why he disappeared so bad but you thought itâd make the atmosphere uncomfortable again so instead, you asked, âSo, what are you doing nowadays?â Haru stood quiet for a minute, âNothing much.â You groaned, âYeah and what exactly is ânOtHiNg MuChâ?â you mocked him. He turned to seriously look at you in the eye signaling that it wasnât funny at all. You lightly laughed, âRight right, sorry.â A few minutes passed by, âSo whatâs Tokyo Manji Gang? You in a gang now?â you innocently asked and read the words written on his shirt. No answers were given, so you answered yourself, âYes, he is, y/n. Is it not obvious? Oh right whoops my bad. Thought I could talk to someone but looks like thatâs not the case right now.â Making him hold back his laugh. He seemed more emotionless now. And quiet. Very quiet. But nonetheless, you still kept talking to him. Because you knew there was still a little Haru deep inside him that always caused trouble.Â
Your heart warmed up at the sight. You really missed the past. How you were all so close, but now it feels as if there was a thick wall growing in between everyone. Still, you were grateful to see Haru once again. After a few moments of silence, Haru told you goodbye saying he needed to go do something so both of you told your goodbyes. You sweetly smiled by yourself while seeing Haru off. When he was finally out of your reach, you remembered. You forgot to at least ask his contact number so you both could keep in contact. Thatâs when you realized, you fucked up. How are you even supposed to know where he usually is? Or hangs out? How are you both supposed to meet up and eat cheesecake together? What a dumb mistake it was. âFucking Haru, did he do that on purpose?â You mumbled in anger. Whyâd he give you such a sincere smile and accept your offer then? You were so mad at yourself that you could shout right then and there. The opportunity was right in front of you for minutes. Even an HOUR. You left the park and stomped on your way home.Â
Returning home, you took a cold shower and dressed up in comfortable clothes. Angrily jumping on top of your bed, you heavily sighed. âWill I ever get to see him again after this?â you asked yourself. Tsk. But knowing that he disappeared even to his own family, you knew he wouldnât appear in front of you ever again, would he?Â
And today was another usual day for you to go out in the city and explore â more like find Haru in the fields but alright. You happened to find a pretty formal dress which you assumed youâd probably need one day, so you decided to check the store. It seemed like a formal clothing store. While you were inside, you found someone buying a pink suit that matched the color of his hair. His hair reminded you of Haru but you didnât think Haru would actually have that kind of style or would style his hair up in a ponytail. And *cough* no offense to Haru or anything - You couldnât get a clear view of his face since he was turned in the opposite direction that you were facing and you didnât want to creep him out by making him look at you or calling him out or anything. Sure, last time you did shout in the public because you found Haru but you were 90% sure this man wasnât Haru. Once again, Haru didnât have that kind of fashion sense so⊠you just left it alone. (No offense to him I swear) But that didnât mean youâd stop looking for him every single day. Well not unless you were hanging out with Senju. Sheâd surely laugh and probably tease you even if you were just trying to help her out by finding her brother.
You and Senju had decided to do a 3-day overnight in the Akashi household since Senju had been telling you how lonely sheâs been feeling lately. Youâve both been doing Movie marathons and skin cares every night and lots of fun stuff that girls normally do on overnights. But on the third day, Senju told you she had to go somewhere in the afternoon. You decided to go out too so you didnât have to feel too lonely. Looking around some stores, visiting the library, going to a coffee shop, and all those self-loving stuffs that people do. It was dawn so you decided to finally go home, thinking Senju was waiting for you at home. You opened the door, removed your shoes, and yelled, âIâm back!!â but it was still quiet. Was Senju still out? Then you found a note on the fridge, reading, âHeya y/n! I got something to do tonight so you can go on and sleep without me. You donât have to wait, Iâll be back late. Cook whatever you want, the fridge still has food and some pizza left. Take care<3â Oh? Senju? Out late? You thought it was okay at first since you also went home late at times.Â
You cooked some mac n cheese for dinner. You ate alone, house quiet with dim lights. After eating, you decided to get ready for bed. Checking the time, it was 8:09 pm. Whatâs taking Senju so long? You were genuinely worried for her. You were also scared that youâd lose her just like you lost Haru. And you didnât want it to happen again so you decide to get into your shoes, lock the house and look for Senju. You ran and ran everywhere. Turning in every direction.
You ran out of breath after running around the town. You found yourself where the train runs. You sat down on one of the benches that train stations usually had. You were trying to catch your breath, wondering if Senju would disappear too. You sat down there for minutes then realized you heard screaming and shouting in the distance. You could barely hear it if you didnât focus well. You decided to check what was going on. It was quite foggy since it was probably very late. The shouting gets louder and louder as you got closer. Then the fog cleared up, showing hundreds of people fighting. Your heart was beating even faster now. What have you gotten yourself into? You then recognized something. These uniforms, they looked familiar. You take a closer look, trying to avoid catching anyone elseâs attention. Oh. There it was. Tokyo Manji Gang was written on these peopleâs uniforms. There were also ones in white. Is this a massive gang fight? Should I call the police right now?Â
You were about to run and call for the police until something caught your eye even more. It was Senju. And she was fighting a⊠a pink haired man in a ponytail. W⊠was it Haruchiyo??? They were in the middle of the whole crowd and you didnât know any other way to get there to stop them without being involved in fighting. But an idea struck your head. You crouched down and tried to go through the crowd. Covering your head while your body kept being kicked and stepped on. Since there were a bunch of unconscious bodies on the ground, people didnât notice you at all. You crawled and crawled, until you finally reached them, but the time you reached them, Senju was already knocked down on the floor and Haru was missing again. You tried to wake Senju up, but she really was knocked down. You brought her body to the side, away from the riot so she wouldnât get hurt. Next plan was to find Haru. You looked around to find a pink haired man that shouldâve stood out but he was no longer in the crowd. So you decided to walk around the crowd where he could possibly be hiding. You went round and round âtil you found a train. You didnât mind it but you saw a shadow inside the train. You decided to check it out if someone was still there, then maybe you could ask for help.Â
âHey!!â You yelled as you made your way in front of the train. The closer you got the more you recognized who it was. âHaru?!?â you shouted. His head took a peak to see who it was. âY/N?!?!â He was more shocked than you were. âWhat the fuck are you doing here???â He asked. âNo no no, what are YOU doing there???â You pointed at the train. âThatâs none of your business. Now get out of here!â He warned you, but you stood there trying to figure out what heâs trying to do.Â
Your eyes widened, âCould it beâŠHaru???â You walked towards him, about to step into the train and stop him. âI said leave!!â He shouted. âI wonât and I donât want to. Stop this shit Haru!â you yelled back. He let out a âtskâ and finally removing his hands from the train. But then, he reached for the bag behind him, looking like he was searching for something. Then he let out a katana. Eh?- what was he gonna do with that? Donât tell me â âYou leave me no choice, y/n.â He firmly told you. âH-Haru?â you stuttered, slowly stepping back. âI warned you twice, y/n.â
He swung the pommel part of the katana at your head very harshly. It felt like he put all the pressure to hit you in the head. Then pointed the pointy part at the veins of your neck. You were getting unconscious. You felt dizzy and your vision slowly started to go black. Until you felt nothing anymore.
Haru then put his katana back down and brought your body out the train and started continuing what he was doing. You could still hear a bit of things. Someone yelled again, âSanzu⊠what are you doing he- Eh?- Who is that???â He was once again interrupted. He was very annoyed now. âNo one you need to know.â He paused for a moment. âWhat the hell are you doing here Kakucho?!â
âItâs just as Takemichi saidâŠâ
It was until there that you could hear what they said.
You woke up. Your vision wasnât clear yet. You felt a severe headache kick in. You were in a hospital room, you assumed. Someone was there beside you, sleeping. Then your vision finally became clear. Oh. It was Senju. âSenjuâŠ?â you quietly mumble. She slowly moved her eyes and woke up. Her eyes widened and tears started streaming down her face. âY/n!â she shouted as she tightly hugged you. âKeep it down a little, will you?â You playfully told her. Your voice still a little hoarse. âItâs been years, how could I keep it down?â She smiled while she sighed, wiping her tears away. Wait â years?--- This time, your eyes were the ones to widen up. âYearsâŠ?â you slowly spoke, unaware of what she was saying. âY/n⊠youâve been in a coma for yearsâŠâ she responded. âI- Iâm sorry, if it wasnât for me you wouldnât have ââ guilt struck her once again but that was none of your worries right now. âNo no no, I-â you tried to stand up and walk towards the door but the moment you stood up, you fell down to the floor. âY/n!!â Senju yelled. âAre you okay?â she asked you. But you were once again trying to process things. âThe doctor said that when you wake up, you wonât be able to do many things as much as you used to. Because your muscles havenât been used too well for years. Hold on here, Iâll call the doctor,â She informed you while helping you go back to the bed and rest.Â
A few moments later, the doctor came in and informed you about the things you should be doing. The doctor also told you about taking physical therapy. You basically just agreed on everything the doctor had said.Â
And there it was, months of physical therapy. You never realized how hard it was to walk. You honestly missed the days you could peacefully walk with ease đ„Č but after months of being in the hospital. Today, you were finally getting discharged. Of course, Senju still helped you on the way home and clean your apartment. She kept insisting that sheâd stay the night at least for today but you assured her that you could handle things properly now.Â
After a few weeks of visiting the same place that you found Haru in, you still havenât gotten a single trace of him nor have you found him.Â
One time, it was 4:00 pm but it started raining and you didnât bring an umbrella. You decided to find a shelter but the only buildings you could see nearby were abandoned buildings. The rain started pouring heavier so you just went into one that looked stable. It was quite dark in there, making it look like it was nighttime. Finally settling down and trying to dry your clothes, you heard a low and dangerous voice say, âWhoâs there?â you flinched at the sudden voice. âI- I was just settling here since it was rainin-â You heard a gunshot and in instinct, you put your hands up. Your heart started to beat so fast and loud. You almost saw your life flash right before your eyes. âLeave.â The man firmly ordered you. At the same time, thunderclaps got louder, making you flinch even more.Â
Seconds of silence until he spoke again, âTsk. Make sure you stay still then,âÂ
Minutes went on and you just stood there. You sat down somewhere stable, making yourself comfortable as if no one was there. âYou sound like someone I know⊠but I donât think theyâd handle a gun.â You randomly told the man. You were still scared but, you just felt like sharing it. âI told you to stay still woman.â He fought back. âI am still, I just talked, chill man.â You argued, mocking him a bit. You donât know either why you talked like that to someone who is probably a criminal but, something about him made you feel comfortable enough to talk back like this to him. Then you heard footsteps, you thought it was the man who held the gun but it turns out it was someone else. âWho is this, Haruchiyo?â another voice boringly said.Â
Wait, Haruchiyo?- Was it him after all?- You slowly turned around to take a look at their features.
âI told you not to turn around.â Haru spoke through his teeth.
âHaruâŠâ you softly spoke. He pointed the gun towards you, hesitation clearly showing. His finger, about to pull the trigger. âŠBang!Â
âStop, Haruchiyo.â The other man ordered.Â
You closed your eyes, thinking you were gonna be shot. But when you opened your eyes, you could see a white-haired man in a black tee, pointing the gun that Haru held downwards, saving you from being shot.Â
You heavily sighed in relief, knees dropping down to the floor, and tears flowing like a river. You could hear footsteps grow louder as they get closer.Â
The white-haired man raised your chin using his index and thumb finger. Taking a very close look on you while you were sniffling and tearing up. âTell me your name,â He firmly told you. âY/N,â you responded. Another tsk being heard from the back.Â
âI see. Itâs nice meeting you again, Y/N.â He gave you a little smile, letting go of your chin and going back to Haru. He whispered something to Haru, but that was none of your concern. The man knew you?Â
âWait⊠who are you?â It was your turn to ask. âMikey.â He answered and went back to whispering something to Haru. A few seconds later, you calmed down. But then... âHAH?!â Haruâs voice echoed in the whole building. Making you curious and you looked at him. He was hiding the blush on his face. Mikey smirked then spoke, âBye bye.â
âWait! Boss!!!â Haru once again screamed. But he was too late, Mikey already left. You were clueless, still sitting there. Then Haru turned to give you a cold look so you tried to avoid eye contact. Looking away, he walked towards you. âStand up. The floorâs dirty.â He spoke, lending you a hand. You slowly turned to look at him and his hand. Accepting his kind offer, you stood up and cleaned the back of your pants. It was still raining hard, so you both decided to watch the busy road through the one-way windows.Â
âIâve been looking for you,â you softly confronted him. âI know,â he replied. âWhat do you mean by âI knowâ?â you asked. âYou think youâre being slick? Iâm part of the most criminal gang, let that be known, Y/N.â He spoke in a serious tone.Â
You huff, âSo you and Mikey do those type of things now? Wow.âÂ
âThis is stupid,â he scoffed. âIt isnât, Haru.â You seriously said.Â
âIâm sure you have a reason for doing this. Your actions and you disappearing every single fucking time.â You lightly laughed, âIt annoys me and I might come off as crazy for, yâknow, still not letting go of a literal wanted guy thatâs face hasnât been seen. But youâre still the same. You and Mikey. You both still have a heart deep down. Itâs just hard to search for and to tame.â You slowly turned around, walking towards him, âYour feelings will always need to be understood, Haru. Be it a murdererâs, an assassinâs, or the most wanted criminal gangâs.â You hugged him. âI canât do anything to save you from your actions anymore but Iâd gladly go down with you,â you slowly pat his back.Â
Seconds later, you could feel your shoulders get wet. Small sniffles heard on the side of your ear. You laugh it off, âAre you actually crying right now??âÂ
You went to the cashier and ordered while Haru sat down on a table. âIâd like two cheesecakes please, thank you.â You told the cashier. âOkay, two cheesecakes, is that all?â The cashier asked. You hummed yes as a reply. Then went to the table where Haru sat down. You kept a conversation going on between you two, basically catching up over the years.Â
It somehow turned into a serious conversation about what Haru did to you for years, especially the coma part.
âIâm⊠sorry for everything. I made you suffer over the years ââ you cut him off, holding his hand, âHaru⊠itâs okay. It hurt a ton of shit but you can suffer the consequences later on.â He painfully laughed, not knowing if he should feel relieved or what. âActually, I ââ He was cut off once again.
âHere are your cheesecakes!â a worker came up to you two, giving you your orders. âThank you.â You kindly told the worker as the worker walked away. Haru then started to enjoy his cheesecake, cheeks full. Having a small smile on your face, you started to enjoy your cheesecake as well, forgetting that he was supposed to say something.Â
âEh?- Do you not like it? Iâm sorr ââ he cut you off by grabbing both of your wrists, and placing his forehead on top of yours, âIt wouldâve been better if I got a kiss from you, yâknow?â he slowly blushed but he chose to close his eyes instead. You chuckled, in nervousness and in embarrassment. Did he just- say that?- you asked yourself. âI love you so much. I wasnât in my right mind when I hit you- Iâm really sorry, y/n. Iâve always liked you. But I donât think you deser-âÂ
You kissed him. On the lips. Yes, the real deal kiss. Man, was he lucky. But you were luckier, you thought to yourself.Â
The light poles finally turned on, full moon, quiet streets, and him letting go of your wrist, hands travelling down to your waist, holding you tight, kissing you back.
