I wanted James to look more inhuman especially compared to Matthew’s golden boy look

I still don't know how or why Chris’ eyes are lavender

I just think the average TLH reader would benefit greatly from being scared to death of being picked on as a child because of the color of your skin and your general features as a person of color before they try and say that Alastair was a bitch for no reason.

Was he wrong? Yes. Do most people not understand what it's like to choose to eat or be eaten in an environment such as that when you can't hide the part of you that makes people judge you? No, so they can fuck off before they try to say anything about Alastair.
