junjou romantica yuri (extremely important !!) au in which everything happens in one of those all girls private (probably catholic) schools where everyone is a lesbian and nobody seems to bat an eye about that for some reason.
• misaki is the new girl who enters to first year and came from a public school so shes completely unfamiliar with how things work in this new school and as she learns she will eventually have her innocence stripped from her, mostly by the li but also by all the other people whose jealousy she attracts because she has a pure heart and for some reason she is just very lucky. also despite not being aware that she is a lesbian she will be having at least one moment fawning over how beautiful every other member of the cast is. additionally toudou is her childhood friend who gets a little jealous at first but eventually cheers her up (and some people may even ship her w misaki but they are obviously not gonna be endgame)
• usagi is the li (obvi) and the breathtakingly beautiful kinda problematic girl a year older than misaki that often skips class (which doesn’t stop her from having amazing grades somehow) and has some sort of self destructive habit because she has like a super duper tragic past and her heart is still attached to this one girl she is deeply in love with but will never be able to get (in this case takahiro). so misaki is instantly captivated by her and they start getting along with usagi being flirtatious and kiiinda tormenting her just for fun until eventually misaki does manage to get inside her heart and they fall in love and usagi finally manages to go back to her happy self
• hiroki is the serious girl that everyone is lowkey afraid of, as well as usagis annoying friend who is constantly nagging her into taking school seriously and leaving her self destructive habits. having always been there for her, she is in love with usagi and is the only one who knows her past, so she is super protective of her even if she knows it will come to nothing in the end.
• nowaki is that one athletic and very masculine girl that also has a tragic past and is super nice to misaki always defending her from bullies and such, and also the school council hates her guts bc she is kind of a rebel and, in my heart, a communist. everyone in the school calls her a prince and are actually very explicit about their crush on her.
• shinobu is that rich kinda mean girl that is in misakis class and for some reason ends up befriending her and acts super obsessive with her because she fears feeling lonely, until misaki lets her know that she will never leave her side, so they end up having a quasi healthy friendship. also she is kind of a misandrist.
• miyagi is some girl in third year that had to skip school for like a year bc she was sick (or thats what everyone thinks in reality it was because she was kicked out from her previous school bc she had an affair with a teacher and nobody knows this except the council president for some reason). she is like super artistic (probably writes the school stage play for some festival or smth) and tries not to get much into trouble, often just serving as a voice of reason (also because most girls admire her for her ~maturity~). for funsies she has an arranged engagement with shinobus brother who is in college.
• isaka is the evil femme school council president (obviiiiiiiiii) and naturally the main antagonist. she is power hungry bc nobody loved her as a child am gave her everything she wanted and manages to keep her tyranny because she is very manipulative and always so graceful and everyone also seems to have a crush on her even though they also seem very afraid of her. she gets closer to misaki to achieve some evil thing and probably also instigates usagis bad habits.
• asahina is that one super mysterious girl thats always next to isaka helping her keep things in order around school, by which i mostly mean doing all of her dirty work for the sake of getting her validation. they have a codependent relationship (canon) based around running the council, which in turn makes them unable to be open about their true feelings for each other bc that would make them more vulnerable or smth. she probably tries to assasinate misaki at some point bc she is just really desperate for isakas validation, and maybe tries to sabotage isaka in the end for her own egoistic means (to dominate over isaka and have her only for herself) #toxicyuri
