It's weird being 35, being this old, and still feeling like this. still feeling so alone and alienated from the entirety of humanity. now, especially, more than ever before. it's weird that my brain tells me no one cares, that I'm not worth anyone's time, and that I know that's incorrect and irrational, but not being able to turn it off. I've pushed people away just because I can't handle the pressure of keeping up a conversation for more than a few minutes. or because I now almost always live in a state of detachment that everything feels so far away and impossible to reach. all of my goals, dreams, aspirations, and hopes have left, and I'm still here, just a shell of a person. a shadow of who I used to be, painfully aware of how quickly and how painstakingly slow time is passing by. 35 and still this lost and scared, and I don't know what to do or how to fix it.
