as a dolan twin vet, the similarities i see between them and the triplets are astonishing. i don’t even think people realize that the worse they act or project on to the triplets, the greater chance of them doing exactly what the twins did is.

People need to realize being a youtuber is so much more mentally challenging than they think. Feeling like every single thing you do is being watched and analyzed, losing who you are bc you start to feel like a product and not a real person, having to keep a certain standard and live up to people’s perception of you, trying to make funny videos even when you’re going through a tough time, etc… and these comments only add onto that. (I know the triplets read all these comments and more bc they always stalk this account)

We all saw how miserable they were in the last couple months of doing the podcast. They spent half of the episodes fighting just bc they were burnt off. Remember tough guy Matt? Everybody said he looked like he was going through something and we thought they were babying him but they were right. They all seem so much happier since they stopped doing the pod and nick said it multiple times. Also their videos are way better now. I’m gonna miss the Wednesday videos but i have no doubt they need to do what feels right to them.

And to all the people saying working a 9-5 is harder and that the triplets make a shit ton of money, they know that. We all know that. But they got lucky enough that they get to wake up every day and make these videos for us. And for a lot of us it means something.
