Matt Wilson is a Brooklyn based photographer, and is a recent graduate of the BFA photography program at the School of Visual Arts. With a focus in portraiture, Matt has turned his camera to his nephew Hunter as he develops into adolescence.

Hunter: The photo series “Hunter” is a reexamination of my own youth through the documentation of my nephew’s adolescence. A period marked with transformations, expectations, and growth. It is a look in to what I might not have understood as a child, and what was missed. Above all, this is Hunter’s story as he navigates his way through childhood.
