Take the Risk: Learning to Identify, Choose, and Live with Acceptable Risk (by: Dr.Ben Carson
To encourage you to keep going.
To remind you to be strong.
Sometimes you are unsatisfied with your life. Sometimes you always get anxiety about things that lacks in your life. God has given us more than fourteen billion cells and connections in our brain. Why would God give us such a complex organ system unless he expects us to use it? You never count the tons of blessings in your life, while many people in this world are dreaming of living your life.
A child on a beach sees a plane overhead and dreams of flying. But a pilot on a plane sees white sandy beaches and dreams of returning where he belongs to. That is the life. Enjoy yours. If wealth is the secret to happiness, then rich should be dancing on the streets. But only poor kids do it. Only they knows the joy of going out in the rain and dancing freely. If power ensures security, then officials should walk unguarded. But those who live simply, sleep soundly. If beauty and fame bring the ideal relationship, then celebrities should have the best marriages. People are simply not willing to look at their problems honestly and admit that they have problems. It does not matter where we come from or what we look like. If we recognize our abilities, if we are willing to learn and to use what we know in helping others, we will always have a place in the world.
Live simply.
Walk humbly.
And love genuinely.
All good will come back to you.
