Mauricio Celis is a dual-licensed attorney in both the United States and Mexico. He also holds dual citizenship in both countries. He serves clients on both sides of the U.S. and Mexico border, helping families with legal matters. Celis is a US Navy veteran and was deployed to the Middle East during Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm. He holds a master’s degree in Constitutional Procedural Law.

Mauricio Celis was invited to lecture as a visiting law professor teaching constitutional and comparative law from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in 2015. In his early career, he served as a legal investigator before becoming licensed as a practicing attorney in both the United States and Mexico. He holds a master’s degree of Science in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin as well as an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University.

Mauricio Celis has his dual citizenship in both the U.S. and Mexico and practices law in both countries. While he has practiced law in Mexico on a limited basis since 2000 as permitted by the Mexican Constitution, in 2013 he registered his law degree with the Secretariat of Education, Department of Professions to be able to fully practice law. Before his career as a licensed attorney, Mr. Celis worked as a legal investigator. He is a military veteran of the United States Navy who received an honorable discharge after his time in military service.
