Sometimes I worry people at work will think my migraine glasses are like a fashion statement. The lenses are pink (FL-41s that my neurologist gave me a prescription for), and I’m already known to have a flamboyant style so I sometimes get weird looks at work for my outfits lol

Nobody’s said anything and I don’t think anyone will. It’s legitimately an accessibility tool for me since I get migraines multiple times a week. But I still wonder. And I get so self conscious wearing them 🥲

Olruggio sitting there like “Qifrey why are you trying to memorise ‘fuck off’ in Pictish?” And Qifrey is like (without looking up from his notes) “no choice. Beldaruit needs to hear this.”

It’s beldaruit’s sneaky infuriating way of getting Qifrey motivated to learn foreign languages.

Based on the map of the Pentacle of Proving, it's very clear that the Fifth Test, which allows one to become a teacher, takes place in the Great Hall. Furthermore, it is called the Words of The Wise.

Which. Does that mean that the fifth test is basically a job interview with Beldaruit?

Oh I'm sure he'd give you some kind of trial, like he did with the girls after the second test debacle, but, still. Did Qifrey go up to his former master like, "hmm dad master Bel do we really have to go through this. You know I can do this already."

I really need Qifrey to have a good ending. And I'm saying this as a person who absolutely adores tragedy and thinks a lot of good stories get unnecessarily fucked up by having a sweet and painless resolution just slapped on top of it.

Qifrey is no such case for me. I need him. To have. A happy ending. I wholeheartedly believe, that in the spirit of this manga, he will have a good ending. And by good I by no means mean easy. Or without sacrifice. Or pain. I just mean good.
