I'm moving across the country tomorrow! I actually do not have a permanent place to stay yet (yep. couches it is! But I have a job so that's pretty much what matters right now...) so updates shall be spotty for a while. Plus, I don't start for another week so I won't have much inspiration (although the self imposed move-cation is nothing to complain about)

How I felt when I was manipulated by a little old lady that was a seeker
When I have a (or multiple) sick patients, and a floor doc approaches me about non urgent admission orders
When one of my sick patients comes back
even though they return sick (gratefully not as bad as the first round), and they thank you the whole way... Amazeballs
When a patient walks in and immediately asks for a sandwich
When a psych patient does something insane like pee on the wall
When I first started I was like...
Now, a year later
Handling any patient with any sort of bug/creepy crawlie
When a patient is sick and we have no idea why
When I first started the the ER
after a year...
When I actually have the supplies I need
When I'm tired of babysitting admitted patients with no bed
When I attempt to be girly outside of work
When I overhear "the nurse will [insert task here]"
if it's something simple [like get a sandwich or water]: do it yourself. If it's not something I do [like get PO contrast]: get your shit together. It's usually one or the other
