The city is exotic - an ultra Yoruba kind of modernity.
A couple ROCKING each other, back and forth by a sidewalk lit up by several neon lights.
There's a phone booth up ahead.
INT. PHONE BOOTH - SAME
This facility is not like anything we've seen of/in Africa.
The couple, Fade and Kobiowu, are smiling sheepishly for the unseen camera. Their entire being radiates happiness.
EXT. EETA STREET - DAY {NINE MONTHS LATER}
The City looks quaint like it has been befallen by a queer negative force. People appear sluggish and unenthusiastic.
Fade and Kobiowu are here. They look stressed.
The couples are sitting on the curb reading a newspaper.
The Newspaper reads:

INT. DR. DARE'S LAB - DAY
This particular room is empty save an overly futuristic car at its centre.
DR. DARE {V.O} Are you sure about this?

Dr. Dare, a grizzled old man, is sitting in his office chair.

There ... travel to The Other Side. The Other Side is a Time traveling portal. T'was created by the earliest Time travellers. THIS is the answer to the disorder.

Dr. Dare is looking through the window at the rioting city below.
EXT. EETA STREET - DAY
The city is chaotic. Several buildings are burning. Below are also below brawling and battering one another like zombies.

The portal to The Other Side is bubbling like hot water bath. Opposite it is the futuristic car we saw long ago, in the same room.
INT. FUTURISTIC CAR - DAY
Fade and Kobiowu are in. Kobiowu looks really nervous.
