Am I gonna be flamed if I say I have a theory that Luke and Kieran might be related to Valko

It's actually not enough substantial evidence to call it anything but a theory but there's just enough details that keep itching at my brain. Would probably make a good au nonetheless.

Can't fit it but ever since reading this waaaay back I always had the gut feeling that the experiments done to the twins may have been used somehow in the experiments to put a human consciousness into the body of a fly since they can feel each other's pain and see out of each other's eyes. That research on the twins may have been vital for this idea of transferring bodies and being able to see and feel in those said bodies.

This is very unorganized but something about the possibility of the twins being the biological relatives of Valko and his involvement beside EVER feels like Valko's been searching for them by getting closer to EVER (along with his actual agenda) and it just makes me so weepy... Especially since they found their own little happy family with Sylus, Mephisto and MC

I might come back to this post and elaborate more on it but this is just throwing the idea out there

You know what I'm not done I'm making this my pile of evidence where I throw shit on til it makes sense

Now Valko’s mask + hood w ears combo already resembles the twins (beaks instead of a snout and horns instead of ears) but something about the line “you think you can be a wolf just by wearing our skin?” Clearly reverses the wolf in sheep’s clothing but digging deeper than that wouldn’t that be true for the twins that despite wearing the crow themed outfits they’re still wolves? The twins just act so similar to Valko it’s driving me insane

The moon imagery goes even deeper considering Sylus’ connection to Greek myths. While he’s usually associated with Hades he also can represent Ares (not just bc of his sign being Aries but the sign is ruled over you guessed it Mars ) Mars > Ares > god of war > the arena, n109 zone takeover, weapon distribution etc. The important thing here is Mars has two twin moons Phobos and Deimos with the personalities and roles of the gods mirroring Luke and Kieran

Also I just want to throw out there Valko giving MC his ring and saying “wear it and everyone who pledges their loyalty to me will follow you as well” like we haven’t seen that same sort of relationship with Sylus and the twins. Luke and Kieran were SO eager to swear loyalty to Sylus after their assassination attempts and it makes me wonder if it’s almost instinct to do so especially since the their whole story of meeting Sylus is the twins testing him as much as he was testing them

Perhaps I’m just a hater but the new starters look like early game catches instead of starters. What is with that

First things first. They're cute pokes. That's obvious and I'm not saying they're not bc they're objectively cute little guys but where is their sauce. Where is their flavor. My starters aren't starting

It's not really unusual for a starter to only use 3 colors in their palette but it is interesting that this is the first time all 3 starters have a 3 color limit BUT the biggest issue I have with their designs is that they're just very round and flat with gecqua being the most starter looking one of the bunch since it's design is actually a smidge more complex than the other 2

I wanted to wait to do any redesigns til I see the other evos but this has been annoying me all day so

It's 3 am and I am very tired so all I did was break up the designs and utilize their colors more

Browt - just used the same green on the wings and lil tuft on top but honestly even just doing the wings would have been fine

Pombon - has had the most work done which is bringing the lil bit of color on the chest down a bit and using the same red fur detail on the tail

Fr cute doggy but why is my fire type not firey. Where's the fire. Who put the dog out

Gecqua - wasn't really necessary but I added the same pink in the eyes to the belly but honestly either one kinda works
