First Arrival [Max/Astrid]
"I doubt they will, I mean… They don’t have a clue about who started it so they can’t put the blame on just anyone… Can they?" Astrid turned to look at Max slightly worried about if they could. "No…." She shook her head after a moment. "They wouldn’t, let’s not worry about that now. Let’s just disappear for a few hours." Astrid said softly, trying to keep herself calm. "Thanks… For the reassurance… Let’s just get out of here, yeah?"
Max simply fished the keys from his poked when he spotted his bike in the back of the large garage. It had been far too long since he had been on it. "We're talking about SHIELD, I don't even know what those guys are thinking anymore." He shook his head lightly. He got onto the bike and soon the motor roared to life. "Time to get out of here."
Keep moving || Max/ Val
"Boyfriend?"
"Yes boyfriend. We've been together for a few weeks. What do you need him for?" Max frowned, kind of confused about what this girl actually wanted.
First Arrival [Max/Charlie]
"And surely I should of found out from him? No, I still don’t believe your bullshit, Rogers." He shook his head, clearly not in the mood for this. "And what, I pretend like I knew nothing. Like ‘hey Evan, I’m sorry… I knew like five weeks before you did. Sorry I didn’t tell you.’ No, even he would probably attempt to tear my head off. You prove it, and I’ll believe you Rogers. But now, no… It’s all a pile of crap." He shook his head again with a frown. "You’d like to think that."
"Whatever you think LeBeau. I'm sure you can make up a way to act surprised. You're big enough a drama queen for it." Max simply rolled his eyes. "Don't think you're stronger or anything like that. You're not that big a tough guy and everyone knows it." He got back up. "I gotta go check on my sisters. You go ahead and be grumpy. Whatever dude."
First Arrival [Max/Astrid]
"I don’t know what they’re going to do next… Probably lock us away in our rooms or something. Put up more cameras. I dread what wicked tricks they’ll have in mind." She shook her head, yes it was funny they had kind of pissed them off. But they hated that and they didn’t take it easily. Astrid rounded the corner and followed after Max. "Umm… No… I haven’t… They terrify me slightly."
"Let's just hope they won't decide to punish random people for what we have done. I don't want them to pull my sisters or my friends out of the crowd for something I have done." Max said with a little frown. He didn't want to think about them getting hurt for his actions. "You don't have to scared of a bike. More accidents happen in cars than with bikes."
First Arrival [Max/Charlie]
Charlie couldn’t believe this. His hand went down his face and he rolled his eyes. “Okay, if this is true. Don’t you think that this is a little insensitive. I mean, three, four other people knowing that there’s probably a little sister out there by the name of Coulson that Evan doesn’t know about. It’s really going to fuck him up when he finds out. I swear to god, if this gets out to any more of the supers I’m going to personally go after you.” He warned, pointing a finger at Max. Oh, this was going to go down so well.
"I thought his best friend or lover or whatever should know. He's gonna be rather angry or upset when he finds out about this. Might be easier to help him if you know." Max shrugged imply, clearly not impressed by Charlie's threats. "You're not that terrifying LeBeau."
Keep moving || [ Max/ Riley]
"I understand, Jesus Christ!," Riley cowered against a wall. "I just got promoted a month ago, I know about as much as you do," His voice seemed to rise a whole octave. "Please don’t hurt me," Riley knew that the man was strong. A super most likely. That made Riley intrigued and even more terrified at the same time.
Max couldn't help but to raise a brow at the guy when he pressed himself practically into the wall in fear of Max. "I'm not going to hurt you. I'm not low like SHIELD. But I am going to make use of your security clearance. I would like a list of names of who you are spying on with these damn cameras."
First Arrival [Max/Astrid]
"It’s alright though, I mean… We’re out of there now. They’re not going to know it was us. We just have to clear off for a few hours and pretend like we weren’t in the building the whole time." Astrid told him before reaching the end and pushing the door open for the two of them to step out. "Brilliant. Sounds like we’ve got our escape plan all sorted." She grinned as they stepped outside. "Lead the way."
"That's probably the best plan for now. Wonder what they're gonna do though. I mean we destroyed their camera's. They don't have any evidence of anyone ever being down with those files which I find pretty damn funny." Max smirked a little as he stepped out and nodded. "Sure thing. This way." He said before turning around the corner, pulling the keys of the old bike out of his pocket. "Ever ridden a bike before?"
First Arrival [Max/Charlie]
And now, Charlie was spluttering and blinking. “Holy fuck, you dick splat! What?” He tried to breath a little more, it took him some time though. “Nah, that’s fucking bullshit… Stop bullshitting.” He rolled his eyes, he wasn’t going to listen to this crap.
"I'm not talking bullshit, it's true man. I mean I read the file with my own eyes. Parents: Mary-Ann Prior and Phil Coulson. She's just two years younger than Evan actually. Astrid has the file right now, thinking that it would be best if he heard it from her."Max shrugged a little and finished the last bit of his cola.
Keep moving || [ Max/ Riley]
Riley gladly accepted the help. As soon as he was up, his hands went to his right leg. A quick once over and Riley was sure he was fine. “Um thanks,” Riley then began to gather his blueprints. “I know, I know. I just had to get them back some how,” He said submissively. When the man shoved a small device in his face, Riley dropped his blue prints again. “Hey, hey,” Riley put up his hands, “I don’t recognize that thing I…” But he did. They were on his desk about 2 weeks ago. As with most things that did not peek his interest, Riley had forgotten about them, preferring to work on his leg. The manager got angry and they were removed from his work schedule.
"Yeah I can totally see that you 'don't' recognize these things. Why the hell are you spying on us 24/7? I didn't come here to be treated like an animal by you guys. I came here to help and all SHIELD has done so far is trying to screw me over." Max couldn't help but to let the anger be clear in his voice. He was more than a little done with all this bullshit of SHIELD. He wasn't sure if this guy had anything to do with the camera's but it at least looked like he knew about them.
First Arrival [Max/Gabriel]
"That sounds like a very good plan," Gabriel nodded with a small smile on his face. It was rather a serious topic to be discussing over burgers and fries. "So…" Gabriel wanted to think up another question, "…What is your favorite flavor of milkshake?"
Max couldn't help but to laugh when he heard that question. That was quite the subject change from before. "My favorite flavor of milkshake huh? Vanilla. It's the most under appreciated flavor of all." He said with a chuckle in his voice. He had never had a very big sweet tooth so vanilla was just right. "Did you ever go to college?"
First Arrival [Max/Astrid]
"Yes, you really do… Now come on…" She teased, pulling him into the small side corridor and continuing to drag him along until they were out of view. Breathing a sigh of relief, she leaned against a wall after a moment or two. "Goodness… I think this whole spy, seek and destroy business is going to end up giving me a heart attack… How does anyone do that without being completely stressed?" She breathed easier now before pushing away from the wall and continuing to get clear of SHIELD. "This corridor takes us down to one of the lower level car parks… Don’t suppose you’ve got a car or bike or something down there or nearby? Mines on the upper levels if you fancy some more walking slash running?"
"I didn't think they would find out about the damn fire this fast. I mean come on." Max chuckled as he leaned back against the wall behind them. "I don't think anyone can do this without dying of a heart attack." He ran his fingers through his hair. "Yeah I got my dads old bike, that easily fits two people on there." He said before standing up straight again. "Time to get the hell out of here."
Keep moving || [ Max/ Riley]
Riley was not having a good day. First his leg broke, his boss got mad at him for not doing enough work and now he had to carry a stack of blueprints. With his arms full, he walked blindly down the hall way. “I all I want is to have a good leg and a good job and no one to bother me….Shit.” A blueprint slipped from his fingers and fell to the floor.
Riley cursed a few more times before he even thought about picking it up. Bending down was exceedingly awkward. The bad leg, the armful of stuff made for a bad time. Riley reached and reached. his fingers grazing the blue paper. Then one by one, the others slipped from his grasp and scattered. ”Fuck!”
In his anger, Riley slammed his foot down onto one of the roles. He lost his balance and tried to stabilize himself with his other foot. Bad idea. His rigid ankle did not help, and Riley toppled into the wall. Or at least he thought. The door swung open, dumping Riley onto the floor of a room. Above him, a shirtless man stared down at him angrily. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, it was…an accident!” Riley apologized as he struggled to get up from the floor.
Max couldn't help but to stare down surprised at the man who was now laying on his floor, covered in blueprints. "..." He sighed, he was raised better than to yell at people he hadn't met before. He held his hand out to the man to help him back on his feet. "You shouldn't be walking around with that much paper, it's doomed to fall." After he had pulled the man back on his feet, he quickly gathered some of the blueprints and held them out to him, frowning as he saw the top blueprint. He held it up for the man to see. The design for the camera he had just found on the back of his closet. "You build these..?" He said with a low growl in his voice. "You're spying on the supers here..?"
Keep moving || Max/ Val
Valkyrie had spent the day letting her mind wander, meditating on different thoughts and spirits and spells. Needless to say it had been draining. Val’s hands shook as she stroked her cat, Draco, who fussed restlessly against her grip. He could feel the energy coming off her. It was too much for either of them to stomach. She needed to calm down. She needed someone to talk to. Unfortunately for Valkyrie though, as it stood, she was primarily alone. Her mother was long dead, her father missing and her brother had run away from it all like a scared child. Her cousins were all she had on this little blue planet. Val usually didn’t mind though. But sometimes on nights like this she felt her bones shiver. No one should have shivering bones on their own. So, Val closed her eyes in her little metal room feeling for either of their presence within the tin walls. Astrid was somewhere far but Val could still make her out. Gabriel on the other hand was much closer. Still in the building. Val squeezed her eyes tighter trying to pick up the foot prints of energy he’d left behind. She honed in, standing and making her way down the hall. Val took the stairs. She turned left. Down a corridor and to a hall of bedrooms, one of which she very distinctly knew Gabriel was in. Or at least had been in. Or had some strong emotional tether too. She was tired and confused and chasing energy trails half asleep. Val pushed open the door without knocking, not expecting anyone but Gabriel on the other side. A voice barked at her, like a feral snarl, swearing and stinging. He made her brows knit together.
"Oh." She said quietly, very taken aback. "I’m sorry, I’m usually not wrong about these type of things." Val glanced around the room for a second person, maybe a third. Gabriel had to have been here. She was never wrong about this. "I was looking for my cousin, Gabriel? You wouldn’t happen to know where…or have seen him?"
Max frowned when a pale looking girl suddenly wandered into his room. He didn't remember meeting her before or even seeing her wonder the halls before. He was kind of relieved to see she wasn't an agent. The agents walked around in stiff suits and she was just in normal clothes. He rose a brow when she asked about Gabriel. "Yes I know him. He's my boyfriend. I'm sorry but who are you and why are you in my room?" He asked as he got down from his bed, standing beside the broken camera on the floor. "If you're from SHIELD after all, I advice you to leave right now." He wasn't in the mood to deal with SHIELD right now. Not now he had found out they were bugging his room.
First Arrival [Max/Astrid]
"Max, I think you seriously broke rule one…" She shook her head as they shot down the corridors quickly, Astrid just about managing to keep up with her shorter legs. "A place to hide… A place to hide… Ohhh!" Astrid grubbed his arm and pulled him back, They were lucky to pass this. She pushed the old door back and stepped into a old corridor most of the supers used to escape."Sorry, it’s small… But we can get out of the whole building though this way. We can disappear a few hours without them knowing any different."
"Yeah sorry I suck I know that for sure now." Max said as he followed after her, not really familiar around the building yet so he was glad he had Astrid with him right now. He almost fell over his own feet when she pulled him into the narrow corridor. That wasn't something he expected to happen. "It's alright, let's just get the hell out of here before they find us."
First Arrival [Max/Charlie]
"What about his dad?" Charlie asked, sitting forwardsslightly as he was rather interested to find out a little bit more gossip. Things had been dead around here for weeks, he needed something. "Shut up, come on… Spill the beans, we all haven’t got all day."
"It seems like Agent Coulson found a new lover a long time ago and that Evan has a younger sister. Abigail. Twenty-two and a redhead. I don't think Evan knows he has a younger sister though. I mean he never mentioned her before." Max shrugged lightly and crossed his arms over each other.
First Arrival [Max/Gabriel]
Gabriel chewed on a fry, ideally. He hated that it would end like that, hated that it would end at all. But most of all, he hated the look Max was giving him. “He is not that open minded,” Gabriel sighed. It was nice that Max’s father had no problems with it, but Thor would give Gabriel no such luxury.
"Let's just drop the subject for now alright? I mean it certainly isn't going to improve the mood tonight." Max shrugged a little and looked up at him. He didn't like the way the mood had shifted suddenly. He preferred to go back to the chatting and just having fun instead of this heavy conversation. They would enjoy the time they had left together.
