Snow forecasted for Philly. A few days out.

Supplies slowly coming together.

Preparing for the worst, hoping for the best. ❄️

Today I went to a bridal shower i had fully forgotten about and somehow it ruled.

everyone was doing that thing where they look at you and go “you’re next 👀” which is always equal parts sweet, ominous, and mildly threatening, but honestly the vibes were good. lots of laughing, lots of love, very “this is actually nice” energy.

getting there, though??? terrifying. the forecast absolutely lied to us. like bold-faced lie. On the turnpike it started snowing so hard out of nowhere and cars were spinning out and i had that moment of “oh, this is how it ends: on the way to a shower i forgot about.” genuinely white-knuckle driving, heart in my throat.

but somehow everyone made it. no disasters. we all showed up safely, slightly shaken, and immediately bonded over how unprepared we all were for surprise snow apocalypse.

so yeah: scary drive, unexpected snow, unexpected shower, unexpected fun. life really said “plot twist” today and then let it work out anyway

Happy New Year!

So I’ve definitely struggled with being on her. I’m an OG and things are way different…

But with the way things are on other platforms have been overwhelming! Especially being an educator (Fuck my views and how I feel…). So I’m going to come back to my corner where it’s safe to be “me”.

I currently have no New Year’s resolutions… Just goals I guess.
