For those interested, here’s Arthur’s audiogram. Left ear on the right and right ear on the left. He can’t hear anything below 40 dB at the moment. He can’t hear high frequencies really well (he’s at 85-90 dB on average) but it’s a bit better on low frequencies. Usually, when your loss reaches 90 dB on average, you’re profoundly deaf, but right now, it looks more like severe to profound.

The ORL said that he has residual hearing, so hearing aids could help him. However, seeing that he’s been hiding all this time that he was already deaf in one ear… I can see him staying a bit in denial.

Honestly? I love what they’ve done so far. I was a bit perplexed by the sudden hearing loss but this makes much more sense!

it's already controversial by having a hearing person (supposedly) play a deaf character, but iirc months back robin talked something along the lines about having a deaf friend and wanting to represent him and the community so.. i'm putting faith in you, robin

Remember that picture? Axel read us the script of that scene that was cut. It takes place on the morning after la petite ceinture. Eliott is sleeping, Lucas brings him food and starts reading his book and then Eliott wakes up. He says he needs to leave, but Lucas tells him no. He keeps saying he has to go, he has to go to his parents. Lucas tells him it’s fine, they’ve been warned of where he is. But he says he’s got to leave anyway. Lucas asks him why he keeps insisting he needs to leave and Eliott tells him he just doesn’t want Lucas to see him like this. Lucas tells him he doesn’t mind, that it’s all fine. Then he starts teasing him, saying he’s upset at Eliott for lying to him. Eliott is confused. Lucas says that he thought there was no way he would end up with a guy that hot and would never sleep with him and yet here they are actually taking naps. Eliott says he’s an idiot and Lucas tells him that at least he is his idiot. Eliott asks what they should do now. Lucas answers that they should start by saying hi properly and they kiss, and when they pull back they just look at each other whispering “salut”.

Axel said he was upset at David for cutting the scene because it was so soft and intimate, he actually called him when he watched the clip to ask why he cut it!!

during the panel yesterday maxence said eliott’s style was going to evolve cause he wasn’t in high school anymore.
