Made a poster for Record Store Day, which is usually in April, but was postponed and now spread across 3 days in August, September, and October. Figured I’d incorporate the quarantine aspect into the design a bit 😅 These are being screen printed in limited quantities by my buddy @bulletproof_prints_llc on colored paper in 3 different colorways, one for each of the drop days (will post the others as the come!) They’ll be available from @retrofit_records in Tallahassee, FL, and he’ll be able to ship any remaining prints after each drop date! The last of four illustrations for a story about a man that served 20 years in prison after being coerced into a false confession to a series of murders in rural South Korea during the 1980's. Last year another man, already serving a life sentence for murder, confessed to the killings. . . All of the victims were women, and most of them were attacked when they were alone at night, often in dark sections of the town or in the country side. . This scene was based on the experiences of Yoon (whose full name is not given due to Korean privacy laws) who spent part of his childhood begging outside a fried chicken restaurant. .
