((Kitty will be just fine. Cats are notorious for being able to give birth all on their own. Some cats want to be alone while they are delivering, but others prefer to have their humans nearby! Just be attentive. If the kitty is meowing incessantly and looks like she really wants your attention, she may lead you to her “nest.” Then, just grab some snacks and stay by, because while kitty is going to do most of the work by herself, she wants some company. She may start panting like a dog, too! Don’t be spooked, she’s doing the kitty version of Lamaze! Let kitty do her thing. She will probably lick her babies clean and might eat her afterbirth, but don’t be freaked out, that’s normal.

Lastly: if she is bleeding a LOT, if there’s an abnormally long time between kittens (like hours), then you should get her to a vet, as something might be wrong. But other than that, she’ll probably be fine.

(The thing is her nest was going to be our bed. So we’ve moved her [very safely in the way our vet recommended] to the nesting room we did up for her. She’s purring and panting and being very vocal. We are keeping an eye on her and she is very desperate to nuzzle and love the fiancee.)
