Extrajudicial killings: Solution for the country’s problem?

The new administration headed by our president Rodrigo Duterte agreed extrajudicial killings to suppress illegal drugs in the Philippines but “is extrajudicial killings a solution?”

Extrajudicial killing is the killing of the person by governmental authorities without the sanitation of any judicial proceeding or legal process. As the definition given it simply means government was violating human rights. As of 3 months President Duterte governed the Philippines more than 1000 people were reported died involving illegal drugs and most of them was killed by unknown people. One would think these incidents happened by the dictatorial country but these took place in the Philippines – a democratic and religious country.

From the start extrajudicial killing was opposed by many citizens in the Philippines because they are afraid that the Philippines will returned to dictatorship country but as president explain that there are many differences  his administration compared before. One of the reason his ways was implemented and the people put their trust to him. But as we can observed it seems that his ways are not right anymore though it lessen the drug case in the country but there are many innocent who were already involved and worst killed by anonymous. Many aspects was already affected because of this ways. Recently Europe refuse to make business in the Philippines, out tourism declined and theirs a tension between U.S. and the country.

Poverty a very broad problem we are facing right now and almost all Filipinos are suffering it. Natural resources has a big role in making the country progressive and they said  Philippines is not an ordinary country since it has a lot of resources to use to become progressively stable. But what happened?  Where are the promises of each candidate who wish to sit in the position? Where are the implementations of their plans and platforms?

I always wonder why people change if they have already the money on their hands, though they already planned everything and thinking the goodness of their people but when the budget was already on their hand, then everything will be change. Every person who can hold the money they will get a percent of it. From the the highest to lowest position, then what happened t the project? only half had finished, only half had implemented. Where are the justice now? That’s why here in our country rich people experience  ease while poor will suffer poverty.

Oplan Tokhang for Good or for Worse?

During the campaign period of President Duterte, the centered of his platform is suppressing illegal drugs in which he really implemented it as we can observe today and one the program he make is what we called the OPLAN TOKHANG which mean that the government will let the illegal drugs users and pushers change. They will let them surrender and stop themselves from using it but if the certain person already surrendered but never change their lives then the police and other government agencies will be force to capture them or even kill them if they will fight back. But my question is "Is this implemented solution was effective or not?" "Is this really the solution we are searching for a long period of time?" According to what I've always heard to various citizens' comments and suggestions, this law violates the human rights. Yes probably because there are many cases listed everyday involving this issue. A large number of people were killed together with a poster written they are the drug pushers, don't emulate. Who really killed these people? The head of the syndicate, so that they can't report them? or the one who implemented the said law so that they can't recaptured. What was really the truth? Where we can find real peace? Who was the person we can give our trust? Everyday we watch, read and heard the news about number of people who was captured and put on jail because of illegal drugs issues. Almost of the Police's and PDEA'S buy bust operations are successful and we feel proud for them. Right? for us it is a good news but did it happen that you might feel odd about this issue and came to think how about those big people who really receive the big benefits? Why is that only those indigent they only capture? Where is the fairness now?

Cyber Bullying

Cyber bullying is a very crucial and common problem here in the Philippines. Cyber bullying can happen anywhere, anytime, any moment. So, we can not say that our love ones are safe because we are sending them to private places. Don’t feel comfortable when we are get separated especially with your children . As a parent you must always communicate with your child and monitor their performance.

Since technology evolved, the ways of committing cyber bullying and the quantity of person involved are constantly increasing. Social media has the large percentage of cyber bullying. Specifically facebook which is the very common site. Today even a one year old baby already know how to manipulate technology and soon they will know how to use the sites and without the guidance of the adult, they will astound posts that will result to bullying others.

Cyber bullying has a serious effects. Most person involved on it are just silent, they never told any body about their problems even their families which are the first person they can ask for help. They are afraid and ashamed, and when times that they can’t already understand, most of them will commit suicide. Is this what you really want to happen to our enemy? Are you happy knowing that you are the reason kill themselves? So think before you click in social media’s because these can be the reasons of one’s ending their lives.

Traffic

Local and national are experiencing this problem. No one of any age, race, nationality, social status, and religion can escape the wrath of traffic. Many students and workers are waking up early just to arrive in their destination before or on time but their efforts are just wasted because at the middle of their trip they are stock for hours in traffic. This problem bring big inconvenience to everyone.

This problem is already a problem even the time I wasn’t born yet. and there are many politicians who sit on the position but don’t have the ability to solve this issue. Many proposed solution and wasn’t implement it. There are many road signs that are already placed at the sides of the roads but  traffic are still there. Why citizens are not following it? Are the problems are in the leaders who are proposing the solution but do not focusing on it? or at the citizens who are not following it?

It’s hard to find the answer who was really has the fault if we are focuses on one side only because both are definitely has the fault, right? But if we have a strong and valorous leader, who will not afraid to implement all the laws and solutions to problems I believe everything will follow. This is the time to change.

Liberation

Filipinos are flexible people. They can easily adjust on fast changes of the environment that’s why they can easily adapt the culture of other countries. Specifically when we talk about liberation.

We can’t deny the fact that nowadays Filipinos are already LIBERATED. We all knew that in United States virginity is not really important instead when they turn 18 they need to be divirginized (maybe it’s part of their culture). And sad to say that Filipinos are adapting it. We can observe that only few girls are still pure after their wedding because they already forget the sacredness of marriage and ignored what’s written on the bible.

In my own vision, Curiosity is the only reason why people will try it because of our world right now are too modern and highly influenced by the technology where young children are already know how to manipulate it that’s why even at their young age they already know how to search it  on websites (pornography). And when their curiosities were awaken and no one informed them that it is not right they will try it.

Educated and Uneducated person

EDUCATED person often describe as respectful, knowledgeable, and professionals. We feel proud and honored when somebody called us like this. But don’t you know this word is really a big word. I think we must not that happy when someone pointed us as educated person. You wanna know why? Then I will give you this instance: 

When you are in a fight, your neighbor is uneducated person saying something bad about you. Let’s named her Mrs. X.  Mrs. X borrowed you money then at that time it’s a coincidence that you don’t have a single peso left in you. So, you explained to her that you don’t have the money for her to borrow. She walked out and you thought she understand you but the other day you just heared from your another neighbor saying that  Mrs. X told her how greedy are you, she’s in a need of money but you never let her borrow. Even you have the said amount but you denied that you don’t have and  Mrs. X wanted for revenge. You as this educated person and you put in your mind that you are educated, what will you do? Probably you will confront   Mrs. X and explain again everything but she is uneducated person she couldn’t understand your explaination because for her you have a lot of money. You are already pissed off because she’s already saying beyond the limit words in front of you. Deep inside your mind you wanna pull her hair and kick her with all your force and kick and kick her until you get satisfied but you can’t do that. See, how difficult when people called you educated. 

In the scenario I have given Above all you gonna do is to go with that person’s level and pull her to your level. And now think how to do that if you want to be called EDUCATED PERSON.

CHANGE is COMING

Change is coming as what our new elected president, Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte said when he’s still campaigning for president. His major platform are to suppress crime, spread of drugs and corruption within three to six months. As what we observed before he formally sit in the position there are alreaady progress in terms of suppressing illegal drugs. Everyday we read, hear and watch a news involving a numbers of people suspecting as drug user, dealer, and maker who got killed and imprisoned. These are the first step towards achieving the change we want. Right? Because these problems are the main reason why poor people suffering poverty while rich people enjoying their life with our money. But I can’t deny the fact that the president’s ways are very crucial, it violates human rights and against of the Lord’s commandments. Though those people got killed because of their action. Most of them show an act of fighting back the police or PDEA but still killing is a sin. In the bible it stated their “thou shall not kill” that’s why people must not kill people. But the other part of my brain whispering me that if they will not take this ways how can we obtain change we want? How can we obtain unity and equality?

People nowadays needs  a president that can stand in his own words and I believe president Duterte is the only one we are needing. Though we’re not still arrive in the change we want but I know we are already taking the first step.

Friendship

What is friendship?

    According from Wikipedia, friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people which those people care for each other. It is a strong bond that couldn't separate them. Friends are the person we can talk and listen to us in terms of our big problems we are encountering in our life. They're the one who help us in solving it. They know our favorite food, color, etc. and what are the things that can make us mad. The one who noticed that we are blushing when we saw the person we admired. The person who listen to our non-sense thoughts.

 There are two kinds of friends; first, friends that will influence you to do well. These friends will be happy and proud of you if you reach your dreams, accomplish your goals, and succeed in life. They will only do things that can cause good to you. They will not compete on you but rather support you and will always love you even if you leave them. Second, acting friends, they are not real since they're only acting. These are the people who will come to you if they will get benefits from you and will hide in times of your needs.

 In choosing your friends, choose those who will get mad if you've done something wrong or something that can cause harm to you and to the people around you. Choose those who stay if you need them. Choose those who will never take advantage of you. And choose those people whom you can trust in everything. Beware in choosing your friends because your best friends can be your best enemy too. They're the one who knew your secrets and they're the one who can destroy you. But don't be afraid on the negative effects of friendship, in life we really need a friend because I believe that life is incomplete without friends. "No man is an island" a famous saying which mean no man in this world can live alone.
