I know CJH’s alternate pregnancy controller (and Darkwolf’s Wild Child, which incorporates CJH’s controller) incorporates miscarriage. It does add a custom memory, although you need to download the custom memory separately, and I didn’t see where it was in the archives - perhaps someone else knows where to get it? It’s basically as close to an isolated extraction of a miscarriage feature as you can get, so I didn’t bother redoing that.

ETA: it looks like zzzInTeenimator_C is the miscarriage memory, so if you switch to CJH’s controller but keep that package you’ll get miscarriage memories. You probably shouldn’t remove package C anyway unless you know all miscarriage memories/gossip have been removed from your sims.

For the mods I did extract, all references to Inteen globals have been removed/replaced for higher compatability.

Extracted Inteen Fertility Changes With Age

ACR includes age fertility decrease (you need to change a BCON it for it to only kick in after age 40, but that’s easily done), but it only affects ACR’s casual woohoo/TFB and ACR isn’t for everyone, so I extracted it and the increase in chances of twins from Inteen to work globally. Not compatible with RCC - I’m working on a version 2.0 so I could include a compatible version as an optional plugin if there’s interest.

If you use ACR alongside this you might want to tune “Tuning - Casual Romance - Pregnancy Odds” in ACR-Controller-Main so that fertility is always 70 so that sims have the same fertility odds with casual woohoo and regular woohoo. You can also tune the fertility change from this mod: “Fertility - Age Decay Threshold” gives the days left until becoming elder sims are when fertility changes kick in, “Fertility - Age Decay Rate” gives the change in fertility per day aged past the threshold, and “Fertility - Age Twins Adjust %” determines the change in probability of getting twins past the threshold age.

Extracted Inteen Risky Honeymoon

Will take into account mods like RCC and pregforallgenders and the above fertility change mod. Even if you have BV, if you don’t book a vacation honeymoon your sims will go on a limo honeymoon instead, which they can come back from pregnant (more likely if they’re a family sim, as you said). The odds can be tuned in the included BCON.

UPDATE 8/4/20: Now automatically gives woohoo memories to the married couple if they haven’t woohooed each other yet.

Extracted Inteen College Admissions

I’m working on an aging/college/etc mod set of my own, but it covers a lot of things and is very much tuned to my playstyle right now, so while I figure out how to best modularize it and make it tunable here’s a mod that’ll restrict the college move-in interactions (phone and computer) to teens with less than 7 days until they turn into adults and a grade of at least C, as it was in Inteen (Maxis had grade requirements too, you just didn’t get told your sim’s grades weren’t good enough until after they’d applied and gotten rejected).

I actually didn’t steal Inteen’s BCON this time because of the messy way Inteen checked teens’ age, but it’s super easy to change if you’d like a different number: just go into the BHAVs, find the line in each that says “My Days Left < Literal 0x0007″, click the wrench/hammer icon at the far right to open PJSE’s instruction wizard, and change “7″ to the number of your choice. Make sure you’ve checked the “Decimal (except Consts)” button if you plan to increase it past 9 so you don’t accidentally enter the number in Hexadecimal!

Extracted Inteen Risky Sneak/Go Out

UPDATE 10/4/19: Makes it so sneak/go out sometimes results in a pregnancy between the two sims who snuck/went out together. By default it’s 25% for sneak, 10% for go, but you can increase/decrease this (or set one to zero if you only want risky sneak out or risky go out). Useless without some mod(s) supporting teen conception and pregnancy: wildchild, RCC + CJH’s pregnancy controller, etc.

UPDATE 10/4/19: Actually got a look at inteen’s version and decided to redo mine. Added inteen’s ‘sims must have high chemistry/be in love to potentially get pregnant via sneak/go out’ feature and changed probabilities to 10% for both, but 15% for romance/pleasure sims. There are still separate BCONs for sneak and go out, in case you want them to be different (or even set one to 0).

UPDATE 10/4/19: Teens who run away may return home pregnant by an attractive stranger or a close friend with whom they are either romantically involved or physically attracted to. Selection of the “father” and odds of becoming pregnant are weighted by relationship scores, chemistry/attraction, lifetime aspiration, gender preference, fertility, living environment, and chance.

Hello Midge! Thanks for your supernatural mods !!! Would it be possible to make a Trait Mod that works the Supernatural Fan and Supernatural Skeptic traits of the Traits Project - TS3 Traits for TS2 Set of "Or Simply PlumbBob" in inventory with your Supernatural Mods. That would be great! Unfortunately there are no mods for the Traits "Supernatural Fan" and "Supernatural Skeptic". Thank you!!

Hi! Moving forward I’ll likely not accept requests like this; open-ended requests only really work if I can come up with something I’ll want for myself, and I a) am still figuring out how I want different traits to affect my gameplay and b) don’t even know if I want to keep all 99 traits (’supernatural skeptic’, for example, doesn’t seem like it’ll make sense in a town full of supernaturals - although, perhaps having a one-off…). That being said, I did have ideas for this one. For those who don’t know, the supernatural fan/skeptic traits are from @hexagonal-bipyramid‘s traits project.

Supernatural Fans/Skeptics Magic Skill Mod

With this mod supernatural fans have a 50% boost in learning magic, and supernatural skeptics learn magic more slowly (at 2/3 the speed).

UPDATE 12/8/20: Now with a “familiar” version in which the presence of the witch’s spectral familiar will also provide a boost in learning magic so long as the familiar views the witch as ‘mine’. With this version zombies will also only learn magic skill at half speed. All this is in accordance with simler90′s skill speed mod.

Supernatural Fans/Skeptics Memory Mod

I can’t change if sims will have fears vs. wants for the supernatural (which is why I just went ahead and made blockers for a bunch of supernatural-related wants/fears way back when), but I can change if they get a positive or negative memory. Affected memories include: became/cured of witch/vampire/werewolf/plantsim, became a zombie, resurrected a zombie, abducted. For vampires, werewolves, and plantsims the text doesn’t change (since Maxis actually only made one became/cure memory each) but it’ll be red or green accordingly; I also decided if a sim has neither trait that the redness/greenness of the memory should correspond to the sim’s aspiration like the other supernatural memories, instead of always being red if it’s about lycanthropy and green otherwise.

UPDATE 5/20/20: I based the witch part of the memory mod on creaturefixes’ witch memory fix so that neutral witches can get the ‘became a witch’ memory. Pescado meant to make it so sims who didn’t want/fear becoming a witch would have if they got the good or bad version of the memory determined by personality (nice sims like being good witches but not evil, grouchy sims vice versa) with neutral witches/sims with 5 nice points getting their memory based on aspiration. Problem is there were two typos, one that sometimes removed all of your sim’s nice points and one that meant neutral and evil witches were getting mixed up. Now sims with neither the supernatural fans or skeptics traits will get the memory Pescado actually intended them to get.

Supernatural Is Good

This just straight up makes everyone a supernatural fan re: memories being green for supernatural events, red for cure events. Useful for neighborhoods that are particularly supernatural.

Both the memory mod and supernatural is good are separated by supernatural type. You can mix and match between the two, but for each supernatural type you need to pick one or the other. They must load after creaturefixes (witch)/aaroneous’s debug get abducted fix (alien) if you have them.

Wait, doesn’t this look familiar? It does, because it’s Inky-Fish’s Male Bodyhair Overlays. Preview is stolen from Inky-Fish as well. This box has been fixed by Rikkulidea here, but I’ve edited it a bit further:

Deleted the scalp empty textures (replaced with null material definitions).

Deleted the face empty textures (overlays work with my “NoFaceOverlay” now).

Fixed a small error in one of the overlays, so now all of them can be applied to elders.

Deleted TM textures from set 4b, because they were the same ones from set 4a, and linked TM material definitions from set 4b to AM textures from set 4a instead (which means less textures and more diversity).

Changed the box to use Veranka’s spa basket (because I hate crates, and because I wanted it to match PlatinumAspiration’s Feminine Bodyhair Overlays), and changed its location to Misc/Dressers.

Functional Cigarettes Machine and Cigarette Mod Upgraded for The Sims 2

As requested I tried to solve some small problems in the PcSims Cigarette Mod:

1. Now you can put the cigarette boxes on counters and tables too and your sims won't put the cigarette box on the ground everytime after the use, but they will choose to put it on the nearest empty surface (probably the one you choose at first to put the box on). 2. I removed the sip coffee sound and add a custom exhaling sound (but if you want to remove it you can simply open the single cigarette and box/packs packages on simpe, go to the text lists, click on sound id table and replace the sound name with a "-"). 3. I added a steam/smoking effect. 4. I also made a second version where sims won't go sitting to smoke but they will remain standing (choose only one). 5. I merged together the three cigarette packs recolor from Slig. 6. When sims finish smoking, cigarette won't be transformed in a trash bag until the sim arrives to the nearest trash can to throw it away.

The new cigarette machine has it's own guid so you can choose to use it and also use Slig machines without any conflict. However the single cigarette and the packs/box have the same guid so you have to replace them (and they will work on the old machines too).

Machine is in the Electronics-Miscellaneous section, while Cigarette Box is in the Party section. I decided to reduce the prices too (20 for a box of 20 cigarettes and 5 for a single cigarette).

Feminine Body Hair Overlay Box!

Huge thank you to @themeasureofasim for their insight into correlated hair and building the box. Truly appreciate the learning experience and your willingness to get me started in the right direction!

This overlay uses a mashup of @fracturedmoonlight's textures here as well as TS4 luumia's Body Hair V5, TS4 Simulation Cowboy's Girly Body Hair and TS4 Soft Almond's female body hair - at least this is all I had in my workshop lol

It comes in 2 styles (straight and curly) with pick & choose options:

**Please keep in mind this does correlate to the sim's eyebrow color from when you applied it. So, if you want to change their body hair color, you have to remove any body hair first THEN change eyebrow color then add body hair**

Body Hair Overlay Recolors - UPDATED 12/29/22 (see below for details)

Recently @furbyq was asking if there were any Pookleted body hair overlays out there. I hadn’t seen any before, and this is something that interested me for my own game, so I’ve made some recolors of @themeasureofasim‘s edit of Inky-Fish’s overlay box!

Please note that my versions will override the original - I don’t have the skill to create a new overlay box or add to an existing one. As such, you must choose ONE version.

UPDATE 12/29/22: @picknmixsims has made all 3 versions as standalone boxes, so you can have all 3 in your game at the same time! They also fixed an issue with the teen set 2 appearing in the wrong color for red and brown. Links have been updated, if you downloaded these prior to 12/29/22 please re-download!

Pick’N’Mix has also created a Body Hair Adjuster extension which adds a pie menu when you click on a sim to add or remove body hair! You do still need the boxes installed but you don’t have to buy them from the catalog and place them.

There are 4 color options plus gray for elders, and they are assigned based on your sim’s genetic hair color. I made 3 versions based on Furbyq’s and my own preferences, using colors by @pooklet, @serabiet, and @blackswan-sims.

Uncensored AM previews can be viewed on my Pillowfort. NSFW warning for sim peen and butts. (Teens and elders have underwear because I’m not comfortable with depicting teens nude, and the elder nude mesh I had gave him blockfeet for some reason).

More overlays? More overlays! Specifically, 40 (40!) correlated body hair overlays for teens to elders of both genders, brought to you by the wonderful @episims and a little help from myself. There are different hair textures for each part of the body (arms, underarms, chest, stomach, back, cheeks, happy trail, pubis and legs), and you can combine them as you like. There are a lot of possible combinations!

Textures were made by Epi, based on Inky-Fish's textures (aside from the happy trail, which was stolen from @platinumaspiration). They come in the five natural colours, and will have the colour of your sims hair/eyebrows. Body hair goes grey when sims age into elders. The box is a 4t2 bath basket by Veranka, found in Misc/Dressers for 0§ (right next to this box by Nikki and my edit of Inky-Fish's box).

Besides making 200 textures, Epi cleaned unnecessary code from the "add/remove overlay" BHAVs, and also made an universal remove option for each part of the body, so you don't need to remember which specific overlay you've applied (*standing ovation*). Cute preview is also by Epi! You can see a swatch here/here and there's more info about the overlays in this post.

Traits Project (Part 3-36) - I’m a Strong Independent Toddler Who Don’t Need no Parent

For toddlers with the Loner trait:

They won’t autonomously ask for attention unless their social need is very low (-60).

They won’t autonomously ask for food unless their hunger need is very low (-55).

They won’t randomly follow Sims.

Needs goes from -100 (depleted) to 100 (full).

Known conflicts: BoilingOil’s Less Toddler Annoyance (LTA). Make sure you put the trait mod files so that it loads after BO’s mod. The feature lost from LTA is the requirement for toddlers to have learned how to talk before asking for something (except for a diaper change since I didn’t touch that). Each feature has their own file so you can install the ones you want. For example, if you have the NoFollow version of LTA and want all toddlers to stop following Sims, remove loner_dontFollowSim.

Traits Project (Part 3-32) - No Need Aspiration Benefits

If you are like me and don’t use aspiration benefits because it’s a bit cheaty but still want to use them somehow, this might be the mod for you!

Avant-Garde and Natural Cooks can write restaurant guides even if they don’t have the aspiration benefit to do so.

Family-Oriented Sims and Natural Cooks can make Grandma’s Comfort Soup without having this benefit. They must have a certain amount of Cooking skill points in order to make it if they don’t have the benefit: 6 points for Family-Oriented and 3 points for Natural Cooks (and Sims with both traits).

Genius Sims can have a “Eureka!” moment even if they don’t have the aspiration benefit. However, the chance of having one is lower than if they have the benefit, so they still need to unlock it to have the normal chance.

Irresistible Sims can do the Smooth Talk interaction even if they don’t have the benefit to do so.

Party Animals can do the Rowdy Folk Song even if they don’t have the benefit to do so.

Schmoozers can do the “Plead for Job” interaction even if they don’t have the benefit to do so.

Social Butterflies can call a third Sim and build relationship with both simultaneously when on the phone (the “3-Way Call” interaction) even if they don’t have the benefit to do so.

Supernatural Fans can try to summon aliens even if they don’t have the benefit to do so.

For the Grandma’s Comfort Soup benefit, a custom BCON is included so you can edit the Cooking skill requirement for each trait. For Sims having both the Family-Oriented and Natural Cook traits, the Natural Cook one will take the lead.

Like always, this mod are split into multiple files so you can pick and choose what you want.

Traits Project (Part 3-30) - Naturally Good At Their Job

That’s a lot of traits, and there’s a reason why!

This mod makes promotions easier to obtain for Sims who have a trait that fits with their current career. For these Sims, they can still have a chance to be promoted even if they have one (1) skill point OR one (1) friend behind the usual requirement.

Also, Sims might have a chance to start at a higher level in these careers if they found it on the computer.

The friend bonus from traits stacks with other bonuses Sims can get (like contacts, the Friends in High Places aspiration benefit, being friends with a hobby instructor, etc.) or penalties (from having a bad reputation).

Here is the list of careers with their traits. One trait is enough for having the bonus:

This mod adds a new semi-global BHAV called “Do I Have Trait Bonus For Job?” which is basically the list. Since I’m pretty sure not everyone agrees with my choice of traits with certain careers, I made it “easily” editable (well, the best I can do). You only need to edit this BHAV if you want to change which traits are good to have for which careers (see this post if you want to know how to change it). Since career GUIDs are used, I included a list of careers with their GUID in the zip folder. You can also add custom careers with this BHAV. For the traits, you can find the list here.

Last but not least, there are two versions of the mod, choose only one:

Standard version, which covers everything said above.

Edukashun Iz Gud version, which also covers everything said above plus the features that came with Edukashun Iz Gud by Cyjon (so Sims can have any jobs but promotions are limited based on the Sim’s education). Normally, Sims who reached the limit and have all the requirement to have a promotion gets a 10% chance to get beyond the limit each time they go to work. If the Sim reached their limit but has a trait that matches their current career, the chance will be at 30%. However, they won’t benefit from the “one skill point or friend behind the requirement” bonus (only Sims below the limit can have this bonus).

Custom BCON added so you can easily edit the max level based on a Sim’s education and the promotion chance for Sims who exceeded the limit (both with and without the bonus).

Conflicts: Edukashun Iz Gud by Cyjon (of course) and harderjobs by MATY. It is compatible with Cyjon’s Job Stopinator.

Traits Project (Part 3-15) - Wannabe Moodlets

This took me way longer than it should since I ran into issues while making this. Apparently, we can’t add new global BCONs? And my first attempt caused problems with other mods that didn’t even have anything to do with what I wanted to make… Not anymore! Thankfully, controllers are a thing and making one fixes the issues I had!

If you play or have played TS3 or TS4, you may be familiar with Moodlets. This mod implements the concept of moodlets in TS2. It’s not as in-depth as the later games since TS2 calculates mood differently than TS3 and I don’t want to completely change the way it works since this is not TS3. So the “moodlets” are about the Sims’ surroundings (according to their traits) and the traits themselves. They are invisible, but you can see the change in the Sim’s mood bar.

Grumpy Sims have their mood decreased by 15.

Sims who loves the cold/heat will have their mood increased if their body temperature is low/high. Mood boost gradually changes depending on their internal temperature. The max boost is +15. Because I’m bad at explaining things, here’s a visual representation of the mood bonus depending on the temperature:

Sims who hates the outdoor will have their mood decreased by 15 if they are outdoors.

Sims who loves the outdoor will have their mood increased by 15 if they are outdoors.

Loners will have their mood decreased by 10 if there are 3 or more Sims in the same room as them (or somewhat close to them if outside). Ghosts and pets don’t count. If they are alone, their mood increases by 10.

Night Owl Sims’ mood increases by 10 when they are awake late at night (11PM to 5AM), -10 if early in the morning (6AM to 10AM with a decent amount of energy).

Over-Emotional Sims’ needs and “moodlets” will contribute more to their mood (25% more). If their mood is in the green, it will be better. If it’s in the red, it will be worse.

Without the Over-Emotional trait, the maximum boost/penalty a Sim can get from moodlets is +50/-50. This may be huge, but it’s hard to achieve this. Good luck having a Night Owl Loner Sim who loves the outoors and the cold enjoying their time outside alone on a winter night, or a Grumpy Night Owl Loner who hates the outdoors being in the middle of a park with a bunch of people during the morning!

Finally, custom BCONs are used for this mod, so you can easily change values (like mood boost/penalty for each trait, temperature and hour ranges, number of Sims to be considered “too many people”, etc.) in SimPE.

Since the mod introduces a hidden controller, I made sure that it won’t cause problems if you uninstall it (so you won’t get the Super Duper Hug interaction for example). Also, no tokens were created for this mod.

Known Issues/Notes:

Sims off the lot are considered not being outside even if they went for a jog, hike or taking pets for a walk.

Being in a greenhouse is considered being outside.

The effect won’t be immediate, it updates each two in-game seconds just to be on the safe side when it comes to game performance.

Required EPs: Nightlife or later. Or course, if you don’t have Seasons, your Sims won’t have the mood bonus from temperature if they have the Loves the Cold/Heat traits.

It’s compatible with the regular version of simler90’s Mood mod (which I recommend if you want more mood altering mods that works like moodlets), but not the memory version unfortunately.

@midgethetree made a version of the Wannabe Moodlet that included some feature of the advanced version of the Mood mod. You can find it here!

Traits Project (Part 3-6) - Alone on a Friday Night? You do You!

Loners can show up on community lots or as a walkby, but less often than Sims without this trait.

There’s a custom BCON for each file (walkby and community lot) so you can easily change the chance that Loners show up. The default values are 70% for walkby and 45% for community lots. The smaller the value, the less likely they will show up. Setting it at 100% means they will have the same chance as non Loners to show up (a bit useless). Setting it at 0 means they they will never show up.

Notes: If you place a Customer Selector by Pescado in a business, Loners have the normal chance to show up on this lot.

Known conflicts: twojeffs’ Visitor Controller mod. For now, there’s no way to make these two mods work together, no matter the load order. And since Visitor Controller is a pretty big mod with different versions, it’s more than likely that I won’t make a compatible version (at least for now). Sorry about that.

Traits Project (Part 3-5) - Encourage Time!

The effectiveness of an “Encourage…” interaction:

Is decreased by 50% for Sims who Dislikes Children.

Is increased by 50% for Family-Oriented Sims.

Is increased by 50% for Nurturing Sims.

So Sims who have both the Family-Oriented and the Nurturing traits have their effectiveness doubled! So it will take half the time for their younger family members to have a certain amount of personality points.

Genie Wishes For Witches And/Or Playable Genies

First the disappointing stuff: Maxis gave each of their wishes a unique controller to handle determining if they’re a success or failure and making the right stuff happen. The easiest thing to do for this mod was to have it spawn those wish controllers at the appropriate time, just as Maxis’s wish interactions do, so I didn’t separate successful/unsuccessful wishes.

Now the good stuff: I did what you requested and made custom “spells” out of the genie wishes for witches with max skill, and since I’ve been mulling over playable genies for a while now and had already finished the hard part of getting the interactions to work I decided to make another version of the mod that’s available to “genies” rather than witches. Finally there’s a third version available to both groups. Genies are identified as such by the presence of a cloned decorative genie lamp in their inventory, which I’ve included: it’s found in Deco/Misc for $0.

The wishes are all under a menu called “wishes” or some equivalent translation. They don’t include the resurrection wish, but do include Cyjon’s new wishes if you have them (you may also be interested in my replacement for CJ’s New Genie Wishes base package that includes [Black_Spirit]’s youth wish fix, since they otherwise conflict). The personality and metamorphosis wishes aren’t available for witches, since they already have spells and potions and more potions for that stuff (see also: those spells with no reagents required made available for neutral witches and those potions made craftable and sellable).

Note: the genie anims include voice lines, which only come in the genie’s voice, so don’t be alarmed if your sims don’t speak in their normal voice when granting wishes.

UPDATE 2/4/19: Added an alternative to the playable genie lamp that uses a custom genie trait matching @hexagonal-bipyramid‘s 3t2 traits to identify genies. Requires trait_MAIN, which you can download from HB. Like HB’s traits, it cannot be given as a gift and sims can only have one in their inventory at a time, but I believe they will not be assigned by the trait randomizer or count towards the maximum number of traits. Also, fixed a bug in “geniewishesforgenies”, “geniewishesforgeniesandwitches”, and “geniewishesforwitches”.

UPDATE 9/26/19: Now won’t be mistakenly identified as a fight social for purposes of “Influence…/Fight”.

UPDATE 2/17/20: Now there are versions that include the resurrection wish! I worried it’d be a bit too cheaty, but if you don’t mind that you now have the option. Includes a new BCON with values corresponding to the percent chance that a resurrection wish will result in a zombie or an imperfect resurrection (altered personality/lost skills); the default values are the same as for the regular genie wish but you can change them as you like. Also, due to how custom socials work I decided instead of making a unique pie menu option for every sim eligible for resurrection to make only one option which begins with a dialog box to pick the sim you’d like to resurrect, more like the resurrect-a-nomitron.

Genie Wealth Wish Failure Mod

As I said the above mod directly references the maxis wish controllers, so this mod affects the wealth wish no matter who grants it: with this mod if the genie wealth wish fails a sack of money drops on the wisher. If they survive they can redeem the sack for a mere 50 simoleons. All of this comes from the wishing well’s wealth wish failure scenario.

Hey Midge, I'm curious do you know if it would be possible to make plantsims and faeries two different lifestate options, instead of having faeries replace the plantsim option all together? I really like the pseudo-faerie add-ons you made, but I was hoping to still keep plantsims separately available as a creature option if that's at all a possibility. Either way though, thanks so much for everything!

Fairy Lifestate

Hello! I made a $0 clone of the Maxis fairy statue, recategorized it into the gardening section, and included in it a custom global that any of my other mods can use in place of the “plantsim - is plantsim?” global to instead check if a sim has the fairy statue in their inventory.

UPDATE 2/3/19: The statue has been recategorized into gardening and given three interactions: “give gardening badge” (to give the active sim a gold gardening badge), “make float” (to make the active sim float), and “reset walk” (to make the active sim walk normally).

UPDATE 2/4/19: Added an alternative version meshed like one of @hexagonal-bipyramid‘s 3t2 traits. It can’t be gifted, sims won’t be able to have more than one in their inventory, it won’t be assigned by HB’s trait randomizer or count towards the maximum number of traits, and it still has the same interactions as the statue. Also, I’m moving 3t2 fairy houses and “fairies fly here” to the same posts as the plantsim versions.

ETA: The trait version, like all traits, requires trait_MAIN.

UPDATE 7/29/19: Disabled “make float” option for children, since the float anims are broken for them.

UPDATE 11/1/21: “Make float” has been reenabled for children. Only use if you have this mod.
