Authors Note: I hope you guys enjoyed this first part! A Dull Lesson is a small backstory of how Casey leads up to become the person known as Nowy. Kind of a play on words of Adolescent. These are the dull lessons she's been through in life that lead to her adolescence. And also the dialogues won't always be like this! I'm just using it for ADL! Later the dialogue will be in bubbles! I tried to draw a more… Yah know… Hot scene? But it never really worked lol I may post the sketches later but again, none of them felt natural to me ;w;

sO I have a confession. Your texties are reaaaaallly similar to the way my boyfriend and I interact to the point where when we were still friends that super liked each other I would read those texties when I missed him lol. that's the mark of a great writer i guess, writing conversations so true to life that they very well could be mine

aaaaaaa i’m going to take this as a huge compliment and feel all warm and fuzzy. real talk i try to write their dialogue to be mostly natural, which is something i still struggle with. i’m also not natively english, so that brings along some occasionaly weird spelling or choice of words that stick out.

but either way thank you so much for the message, it was so nice to see something like this!

Just something I always think when I see a new member in this community, but what got you into this part of the fandom? Either way glad you are here and making such wonderful art for us to enjoy. Keep up the great work.

Well first of all, thank you a lot for the kind words! <3

And what got me into the fandom was actually Dipper and Mabel’s interactions and Tumblr lol. I am a hardcore Gravity Faller, and I remember watching this show and thinking about how adorable Dipper and Mabel’s relationship was, and after a while I got myself thinking: “How would it be if they were a couple…?” Specially because Mabel is my favorite character of all times, and I believe that no one would treat her better than Dipper and vice-versa. They’re the best for each other.

I started lowkey shipping them, and I went to collect some fanart only to see that I wasn’t alone and that there was a huge part of the comunnity that shipped them as well! And the final episodes were pretty much the cherry on top for me to turn Pinecest into my Otp :3

I adore Stancest as well, but I draw Pinecest the most xD
