The new chapter of Time Cast a Spell on You destroyed me.
I think this fic isn't talked about enough! Please, can we start talking more about non-smut fanfiction? I mean... it's great to go crazy together over TTMD TTMS, but I'd also like to go crazy together over non-smut fanfiction!
And, since we're talking/reading about it, any suggestions for non-smut fics?

Why have all the movies I watched this weekend become Byler fanfiction? 😭
13 Going on 30: with Mike as Jenna and, obviously, a slightly different plot (Mike finds himself working in a publishing house on the verge of bankruptcy and then finishes writing his novel Cleradin while returning to see Will, who in the meantime is almost married to Chance, who helps him with the illustrations...);
The Little Mermaid : with Byler and Henderhop as the main ships;
Atlantis: The Lost Empire: again with Byler, Henderhop, and also Elmike.
Enough! Please, save me.
Or maybe not...Which one should I fantasize about more? I've realized I can't write so many (hello, Tangled! Au with Byler and Elmax, which is still on hold).

My honest reaction:
This fanfiction will destroy me
One of the worst things post season 5 is that now a lot of milkvans/Will'shaters are saying that Will doesn't like El and that he tried to steal her boyfriend in season 5.
But canon Will would never steal Mike from El. The Suffers made that scene for queerbaiting and Will is so OOC flirting with Mike while he's still El's boyfriend.
That scene really doesn't make sense with what we know, it's just queerbaiting and bad writing and I hate it 😭
I haven't watched Tales from 85, and every post I read/little clip I see makes me even happier I didn't.
What does it mean to me that Will continues to suffer in so many ways (even Mike yells at him... Mike? Who yells at Will? Please)?
Please tell me it's not in the Top 10. And please, let's make the byler tag trending.
Netflix has decided not to let me watch Fear Street because I'm "out of the household"...

Thing is, I dont think the Duffers will know unless we do what we're good at and get loud and "noisy".

I feel sick. Can they stop putting Will in the mileven scenes? We know Will loves (loves, not has a crush) Mike, so can they stop? What's the point of continuing to harp on about it? To make fun of us? To keep torturing Will and the byler shippers?
To be clear:
Generalizing and saying that the bylers review-bombed Tales from 85/S5E7 is wrong and harmful to every byler, especially those who fought against giving that episode high ratings (ditto the accusations of misogyny against Nikki and El).
BUT ALSO, generalizing and saying that the milevens are homophobic is equally wrong.
Can we, please, start to add a "some of"? Thanks.
P.S.: I don't want comments on the legitimacy of one ship or another (both can be shipped), nor people pointing fingers at others (like "but if they do X then we can do the same"). NO... I'M NOT INTERESTED. It's about a minimum of politeness; if you can't recognize that generalizing when talking about something negative is harmful, then don't comment/post. THANKS!
Some people should learn to think before posting, especially those "geniuses" who accuse the Bylers of review bombing Tales from 85 and Season 5 Episode 7 because the Byler didn't happen 🙄
"The Bylers teamed up with homophobes to review bomb." ... Do they read when they write? Do they think before they do so? Probably not, because no thinking person would come to such a conclusion.
They also complain about the unfair review bombing of Tales from 85, but they didn't do anything about Episode 7, and are only now bringing it up to vilify those who actively tried to raise the episode's rating (I remember how many Bylers gave high, albeit undeserved, ratings to that episode).
So, for any "genius" who thinks review bomb is Bylers' fault:
