I had fun at Pride! I worked my job’s table, got this free shirt (which makes me feel so little omg) and saw lots of people I haven’t seen in awhile. Now I get to hang out in my new Rearz before getting ready to go to a Drag Show later tonight!

Travelling, shopping, amusement parks and diapers!
I am constantly amazed by how many people freak out and give me heck if they accidentally find out that my 6 year old son, and my 12, and 14 year old daughters are wearing and wetting diapers under their clothes when we are out shopping, at an amusement park, or traveling in the car. Do they need to be in diapers? Nope. They were all day time potty trained between age 3 and 5. Night time not until later and my 6 year old still wears diapers at night for bed wetting. My wife and I are firm believers that diapers are not just for babies and old adults, though that is the main purpose for them usually. There is no law or reason that once a person is potty trained they are never allowed to use diapers still. That is just stupid! The shopping trips on Saturdays before we started using diapers went like this as an example!!!! …my wife, 3 kids and I pile in the car and we drive to the mall. The girls want to check out clothes, my wife wants to look at other things. My son and I want to look at tools and man things. My wife takes the girls one way, and I take my son another and we agree to meet at the food court in an hour. My son and I get into the store and head to the tools, and I hear. Daddy, I have to go potty. So I turn around and have to find the bathrooms. They are in the opposite side of the store. We head all the way over there, go in and the bathrooms are dirty and smell. He is 6. He don’t reach the urinal, and I am not letting him sit on the nasty toilet seat, so I go into a stall and hold him up while he pees in the toilet. Now I have to go also, so I make him wait while I go. We wash our hands and head back to the tools. 15 minutes of our time already gone. On the way there he finds a coke machine and begs me to buy him one. So I do. Now we finally arrive at the tools and look around while he keeps himself occupied drinking the coke and looking at other things. We spend a ½ hour in that department and look at toys with him for a short time and it is time to head back to meet my wife. We stroll back to the food court and my wife and daughters are walking up from the bathrooms because the stores they were in had none. They had to leave early so one of them didn’t pee themselves. She handed me some bags of things she bought, and we decided to eat there at the mall. We got food sat down and ate. Soon my son had to pee again. Now I am back to taking him in that bathroom, same thing, I hold him up at the toilet so he can pee. We wash our hands and head for the car to the food store. Once arriving at the store we walk in and begin shopping for food. The kids are bored but it is what it is. Part way through the store my daughters one at a time has to pee again and takes off to find the bathrooms. After we check out, pack the car full and are driving home my son announces he has to pee again. I tell him to hold it until we get home. That does not happen. I pull in the driveway, and now have a pee soaked car seat to clean after I unload the food and help my wife put it away. Now enter diapers. My daughters put on diapers under their jeans or skirts, and I diaper my son up. I and my wife also diaper up and we leave the house, Do all of the same exact things except every time any of us have to pee, we just let it out in their diaper. We arrive back home and the girls take their wet diapers off and put on underwear and I change my son back into underwear and not only did we get more done in the same time, but there was no stress or hassle or car seat to clean up. So in summary, Yes My kids and I still do wear diapers quite often for convenience and there is NOTHING wrong with doing so. ********************************************************************** Pampers cruisers size 7 fits people up to around 80 pounds though tight. Pampers underjams or Goodnites fit people up to about 170 pounds, though they hold less than regular diapers. And there are many companies that make youth diapers and adult diapers that are much better than the junk you find in the stores like Depend and god forbid a store brand. I recommend you contact and buy from northshorecare.com or XPmedical.com I highly recommend Comfidry 24/7, Northshore supreme, Betterdry, and seni quatro diapers.

In response to my posting about my kids an older gentleman responded this way!
Hi, the idea of encouraging older children to wear diapers for trips and special events is hardly a new concept. The differences between my youth well over 70 years ago and today is as pinned gauze diapers with waterproof covers or pants compared to current disposables with SAP and the choice of plastic back with sticky tapes and cloth-like back with re position able tabs or diapers vs pull-ups. When I had just turned 4 I was ‘discovered’ by the producer of several network radio programs. My granny had spare time to escort me to studios. I was surprised that if hired I would be expected to wear diapers so that if I had to pee I would not miss a cue on live performances. Now by 4 I had been toilet trained since before I can remember, but sometimes I would wet the bed. My mother allowed my nanny to diaper me for bed most nights. I knew kids from school older than me who wore diapers to bed. I was a year younger than my classmates, so I was hardly embarrassed to be diapered even later, I was still working regularly on radio, TV and movies at age 11, and still wearing diapers at the studio as was the case of other performers who had not reached puberty. At age 7 I became pals with a boy a month younger who also was entering 4th grade. That school as for radio and TV performers. Generally we did not wear diapers to school. My pal wet his pants at least 4 times a week at school and he always wet his diaper on set. When we played at his house on those afternoons when we were not working, he was changed into a diaper and rubber pants by his nanny the minute we reached his house. The nanny even carried a diaper bag when escorting to or from school. My mom and granny told me I should be supportive of my pal, so within the month we met I did not object to being diapered by his nanny. I did sleep better in a diaper at my friends house. His mother talked to my mother. After that it was always my choice to wear a diaper to bed at home. After I turned my bladder control was much better, so I did not routinely wear diapers to bed. Since I could remember for car trips over a half-hour I was asked to wear a diaper. The same as true of going to the circus or Coney Island. My opinion is that my family made the best choice by allowing me diapers when I needed them. I was never teased or punished for wetting. After I married and my wife and and I were blessed with children none at above average bladder control. All three of our kids wore diapers on trips and none wanted to be performers. The two of my kids who are parents use just-in-case diapers (as some on-line call them) with their kids. My grand kids do not object.
