This blog used to focus solely on the Law of Assumption, but I got tired of being stuck on just one topic and decided to revamp it so I could write about whatever I want.

You might still come across occasional posts about the Law of Assumption — mainly success stories —, but you will also find stories about my daily life and my journey to develop my spirituality, including studies on witchcraft, hellenic polytheism, and oracles.

ㅤℋey, babes! How're you doing?

For today's post, as I promised, I'm going to talk about my plans around my studies about witchcraft and hellenic polytheism.

Since I'm in my final year of school and sometimes barely have time to read a book for pleasure, I created a very light routine for myself.

First, I had to organize all my routine in general, which was easy. I decided that in exams weeks I'm going to study on Fridays (after the exams, that happens on Thursdays), and maybe on the weekends. Also, instead of doing absolutely nothing with my free time, I can just read a (informational) book e write the most important points in my grimoire later. I don't think I'm gonna be exhausted doing that, because I interpret this also as a hobby.

"But Rem! Aren't you being too hard on yourself?"

It happens that I won't work if I don't be hard on myself. "Work" in a sense of funcion, by the way. It’s sad, but true. Don't worry. 🥹

Anyway! After that, I organized some items that I already have here in a box, like candles, crystals and jars. Everything was so messy and dirty; it was gross and I had to clean it, not just organizing.

Here's some pictures of my stuff!!

The things in the first picture are in the box, but I also have another items that are in the second picture that I will keep out, like incense, some used candles and two spells, one for protection and another for prosperity.

Now that I know what to do, it's time to focus on my studies. I'm so happy and excited to get started, omg.

post summary: why write this blog this way? here are my reasons.

ㅤㅤ 𝒜 fter recovering myself from a viral infection, here I am with a new face for my blog. I decided to write "long-form" texts on whatever topic comes to mind, as a way to step away a bit from the informative posts about the Law of Assumption, that you can find anywhere on Tumblr.

This idea came after I concluded that I don't have a single piece of discipline in my body. I'm too lazy to do things on my own, and I need constant encouragement, which won't be falling from the sky, honestly.

I had already tried the "tactic" of posting vlogs to feel compelled to do what I needed to do properly, and I have to say it worked really well. However, the thought of having to post videos on Instagram or TikTok bothered me, so I decided that posting written blogs on Tumblr would be much better. I must say, I have a soft spot for the calm algorithm here.

"But Rem, what did you need to do that was so important?"

This is where the text starts getting long. On top of needing to do everything, like, unironically living my life, I’ve been trying to connect with my spirituality since the beginning of last year, but I simply end up giving up and starting over months later — a constant cycle of procrastination.

The thing is, last month I consulted a tarot reader about some trivial issues going on in my life, and they told me that Aphrodite was, like, "calling" me to work with her. That’s not the exact term, but they said they could sense her energy and that she was very, very keen on having me as a devotee and eager to help me with "my path." All of this was confirmed by the cards, by the way.

For someone who was on the verge of giving up on all existing religions and beliefs, drowning in my own insignificance, the news that a literal goddess was looking at me and practically shouting "Hey, I want to help you" hit me like a nuclear bomb. I felt truly desperate because all those months (a year and a half!!) spent trying to learn something had been for nothing; in the end, I’d just been stalling all this time, and I needed to do something about it.

And I did something, in fact. Or tried to do. Get some books, search something, make a small and subtle altar for lady Aphrodite. But nothing more than this, and that's when my idea came. Writing this blog can be both a hobby and a way for me to feel obligated to do my things.

Generally speaking, there's not much more to it than that. My next post will be about planning my studies, balancing them with my routine — school, social life, etc. I hope you enjoy it!
