A handy guide to all the times during Live at the Brixton Academy that Brian forgets he needs to be the lead singer now:
Guitar solo in the middle of the song? Brian is immediately halfway across the stage, in his own world, remembers he needs to sing usually about three seconds too late to make it back to his mic in time.
Choruses that his backing vocalists are also singing? Brian is hovering vaguely near his mic or fellow guitarist Jamie Moses, but is not actually singing.
Vocal improv sections in a song? It is now optional. If Brian is not already standing in front of his mic, he doesn’t even bother hurrying back.
Song doesn’t have enough guitar solos or long enough guitar solos? Brian simply adds more and fucks off halfway across the stage (see #1).
