I understand if some of the topics we in the Arrested Development fandom talk about regarding our favorite characters can be sensitive or triggering. But here’s the thing: you curate your own experience here. There are blog and tag blocking functions for content you don’t want to see for a reason. And if you do happen to see said content anyway? There’s nothing stopping you from ignoring it. From scrolling on by and letting other fans have their fun. Arrested Development is a show RIFE with incestuous themes, jokes, and interactions, so to come into this house and start loudly proclaiming that certain ships of ours are nasty and that we as people are terrible in various ways (newsflash: some of us are also queer, disabled, mentally ill, using our ships to process emotions and cope, living otherwise normal, healthy lives, etc) when we’re literally hurting no one is rude at best and triggering in its own right at worst. Please, if you come across a post that’s clearly not meant for you, just ignore it. If you make your own posts expressing ship hate, don’t use main tags or ship tags. We can occupy different corners of the same camp without stirring up negativity or drama.
