Bio: Kameelah is the Founder and President of Muslim Wellness Foundation (MWF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing stigma associated with mental illness, addiction and trauma in the American Muslim community through dialogue, education and training. She is the Fellow for Spirituality, Wellness and Social Justice at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). She served three years as the Muslim Chaplain at UPenn and continues to facilitate discussions on religious identity development and challenges faced by American Muslim youth. In addition to Kameelah’s involvement in mental health advocacy and religious life, she is a proud social justice activist. Kameelah has 15+ years in the field of psychology and counseling. Hi hope the weekend was great. Few days left for Black History month and today we feature @sheisabroad_ and was inspired by this outfit she wore at a photoshoot in Egypt. Imani Abdel-Malik Bashir is a writer, wife and mother-to-be originally from PG County, Maryland. After spending the bulk of her professional career as a Sports Broadcaster, Imani took a leap of faith by moving to Cairo, Egypt where she taught English Literature on the high school level. It was there that Imani found a love for the water and attained not 1, but 2 diving certifications and is an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver. Imani is a "wanderess" who also possesses a love for travel, having recently been to 5 countries in just short of 6 months and has also made solo journeys to Paris, France, Rome, Italy and Doha, Qatar.
