If anyone sees this and is interested I will be starting a bookstagram in the new year as a way to hold myself accountable in decreasing the number of books in my TBR.
If you are interested to see what kind of books I like to read instead of just what fanfics I recommend then I’d love to have you join me on this journey.
Also toying with the idea of doing a fanfic Friday where I recommend a fic to read…depends on how that’s received…
If you fancy giving me a follow over there I’ll leave a link below.
Reader has a quirk called chaos control. Your quirk and storyline is based off the character shadow from the sonic universe but ofc not the exact same.
PART 2, AFO FINDS YOU AND MANIPULATES YOU.. MEETING THE LEAGUE.
Walking through the cold and dark halls of the lab you spent the most of your life in you tan your fingers across the walls, haunting you with the good and bad memories.
The only things good being the two friends you ever had, the two people who only ever made you feel human. ‘Sonic’ and Yoishi.
‘Sonic’ was forcefully sent for ‘scientific purposes’ by his family a little later on in life, once they’d found out about his ability of speed. Therefore when he was given his name, he decided that was all he went by.
If you were sent a little later one, same as sonic things might’ve been different for you, except it was all you’d ever known. Enough power to destroy the world. Enough power to make you a weapon. But so much, people would’ve been afraid if they knew about you, so instead you were locked away like an animal. But it’s not like you’d known any different, no previous family, or home..
Yoishi and was the only one between him and his brother who made any effort to create a bond between the three of you, making sure you were okay even in your circumstances.
Every step you took reigniting a memory.
One of them being when you were 9 and sonic was 10. It was his second year on the facility. And you finally had a friend, someone like you.
“Catch me if you can softy shadoooow.” he grinned, running in front of you as you air glided centimetres behind him.
“Im closer than you’d think blue blurr!” You shouted, not knowing you both were about to miss a corner and run right into the wall..
The memory made you slightly crack a smile, looking through one of the windows, seeing one of the tables you were sat on, wires attatched to your head, yoichi had just snuck in and made up an excuse about the doctor needing you, ripping off the wires and taking you out to eat the food left for the scientists.
Finding one of the main rooms you stood in front of yours and sonics glass chambers..
“Ah, the ultimate life form. I’ve waited for you my dear.” A voice spoke from behind you, almost slyly.
You blipped in front of the man, he had an unrecognisable face, just a mask connected with a multitude of tubes.
“Who are you.” You demanded more than asked, narrowing your eyes instinctively,
“Oh you don’t remember me Shadow? Or can I call you y/n? ..you’ve been asleep for too long y/n. And I’ve waited for you this whole time.” He replied smoothly taking a step closer to you.
“Doesn’t answer my question. Who are you and what do you want.” You don’t let down your defensive and cold manner. Yet there was something familiar about him.
“Well now I go by all for one. But you knew me before as Shigaraki. My brother was ..fond of you and the speedy little one..” his tone darkened.
“Yoichi? Where is he?!?” You asked, a glimpse of hope flickering, only to be blown out by ‘all for one’s’ next response.
“He died. During the cross fire that very night sonic died too. They took everything from you, from. us.” He lied, manipulated. He killed his brother, of course you never knew that, hearing that yoichi died the same way sonic did itched something in your brain, built up the chaos energy inside you. From working there, he understood your quirk, he knew how powerful it was. The stronger you were, the more afraid people would be of him.
“I’m offering you a chance for revenge? For what they took from us. These heroes aren’t trusted. They’re just the same as the people that took yoichi and sonic away from you. They either just want to use you or dispose of you.” He realised he’d now caught your attention.
“What do you want me to do..?” you asked fiercely, feeling the chaos swirling inside of you.
“Join me.” He lent a hand out to you, once he felt your hand reach out to his he realised he’d successfully caught his prey, just as the cunning predator would.
—
After weeks of being with AFO, thinking you were there for good, he introduced you to “ the league ” since he wouldn’t always be able to accompany you.
After his entrance and beginning introduction, he left with “she is Shadow.” Everyone had their own questions, like
“Why do you have rings on? Or are they bracelets? Either way they’re super cute!!” A girl with blonde hair in space buns, who you later learnt to be toga, complimented.
Or
“Who does your hair? It’s magnificent” a man with a top hat with a yellow feather and a white and black mask asked juggling marbles, you later found to be mr compress.
But finally someone who was more serious.
“So what’s your story ..why are you so dark? Hm?” A tall guy with black spiky hair and purple patches on his body asked you, putting out a cigarette on the wall and sitting on a stool with you while kurogiri made you something to drink.
“I was tested on for years. One day my powers caused an explosion in the lab. People died so they killed the closest people to me and froze me for 50 years.” You eyes low, your voice intense.
“Wait your like 50?” Toga asked, jumping to sit by you.
“No. I’m 16. Like I said, I was frozen in time and space, so I didn’t age at all.” You explained to her.
“Your like a walking time capsule then huh? What was it like 50 years ago?” She grabbed your hands and began squeezing.
“I don’t know, I was stuck in a lab. Didn’t really have much time to sight see.” You brood.
“Your funny I like you. Your so pouty.” She twirled one of the red pieces of your y/h/l, y/h/t hair.
“Ignore her.” ‘Dabi’ raised a glass to his mouth.
“But I get it, the whole lab rat thing. I had a similar situation.” He raised his brows, and looked down at you knowingly. It was almost comforting.
Maybe it wasn’t gonna be so bad after all.

Back at UA, none of the pros could find any background about you, but izuku, being one of the wielders of ofa, and being able to speak to yoishi, even briefly, was able to find out about her, it was little but at this point anything helps.
The pros, working with police and being able to check every camera in the city found footage of you being led by afo and thought it was kidnapping. Now they buckled down even harder to save you.
It had only been two weeks, but they knew enough from izuku, and eventually to understand the fully situation principal nezu met with the colonel and got their side of the story.
Bakugo couldn’t stop thinking of you. The thought of someone being stronger, faster. So mysterious and even ..beautiful. He’d never thought about any girl this way before. It even angered himself when he did because the thought of you was uncontrollable, yet you’d only met once.
But little did they know, they’d see you sooner than they thought. Because the league was planning to attack the USJ..
the :) AO3 gives you after telling you you’ve already left kudos on a particular fic is my archenemy because what do you mean :) ? what do you mean I’ve already left kudos here? have you read my favorite author’s work? look me in the eyes and tell me one kudos is enough. I’d give them a thousand kudos and my kidney plus my firstborn. what do you mean I can only give them one kudos??????
people always talk about leaving comments on ao3 like it's a nice thing to do, or the best way to encourage writers to keep writing, or overall like it's how you Do Your Part in fandom
and yeah, all those things are true, but having spent the past few months leaving enthusiastic comments on as many things as i can, i have a different perspective
you should leave comments on fics because it's fun
taking the time to stop and focus on what i like about a story has made me way more aware of what's going on in stories and what i like about them. there's bit more actual comprehension and appreciation and not just beaming content into my eyes to fill time
i like noticing cool little things in fics, or riffing on funny events. i've never been very good at speculating or picking apart characters, but sometimes something clicks and it rocks.
and of course it's pretty nice when you get a response and it's clear you've made another person happy
so yeah, you should leave comments for your own sake, too. it makes reading better!
Summary: The not so wordless agreement that you and Jenson would someday end up together is thrown into turmoil when he’s invited to your proposal party
Word count: 4.4k
Warnings: none
The snow fell across the fields like a blanket, tucking each blade of grass in for a dream-filled night’s sleep - it would usually be quiet this time of night, but the air was filled with the laughter of the children and teenagers alike who had begged their parents to take their sleds out and venture down the icy slopes. You yourself had been one of them, rapping your fists against the red wood of your neighbour’s door, rocking back and forth on your heels as you waited not so patiently for it to swing open.
“Hi John!” You grinned. “Can Jense come out? I know it’s late but we haven’t had snow like this in years and-”
John smiled and stepped aside, revealing Jenson sat at the bottom of their stairs - shoving his feet into his welly boots. “Looks like someone had the same idea as you, son.”
Jenson looked up from the black rubber of his boots to see his best friend - the tip of your nose and cheeks tinged pink, the pearly whites of your teeth lit up in a big grin. He matched it with a smile of his own, giving his Dad a quick hug before joining you out in the snow, taking your sled from you to carry over his own shoulder. You were wrapped in a big yellow coat, a hand-knitted scarf and a pair of gloves that looked a touch too big for your teenage hands - your boots already covered in a soft layer of snow from the small trek to get Jenson.
“Don’t go too far, and be back by midnight!” John called out. “I’m sure your Mum told you the same, young lady.”
“Yes, boss!” You laughed, arm locked tightly around Jenson's so as not to slip on the icy ground. Your best friend smiled down at you - leaning into you to share your warmth.
Jenson listened to you yap away about all the different things you could make out of snow that would be endlessly better than a snowman. He let his arm drop from yours, moving to loop around your waist so he could haul you in closer - using the cold as an excuse. You gestured towards the moving crowds up ahead.
“The big hill just by the forest is where everyone is, it’s got the best spot for sledging.”
Jenson hummed softly, and you looked up at him. “Yes, but I don’t want to go sledding with everyone. I want to go sledding with you.”
Your nose wrinkled up in a playful disgust, earning a playful shove - a squeak leaving your lips as you nearly slipped on the icy tarmac beneath your feet, but you knew Jenson would never let you fall. His surprisingly strong arm stayed around your middle - holding you close to him. As you looked at him once again, your cheeks warmed - his blue eyes twinkling with mischief.
“You’ve gotta stop looking at me like that, you know what happened last time.” You grumbled, jabbing his waist - breaking eye contact.
Jenson raised a teasing brow. “And who said that would be the worst thing?”
“Jenson.” You hissed quietly, not missing the girls who watched the two of you walking in the opposite direction to the rest of the town. You were well aware of the jealousy that sprung from your friendship with him - you’d been in his life since you were infants, but as the two of you had grown up - Jenson had quickly become established as one of the most handsome boys in school. “Don’t say another word.”
“You know I don’t care what they think.” He grumbled. “I don’t want them…”
You looked up at him, the mischief in his eyes had since faded - replaced with a warm tenderness that you knew he had reserved for you. “Jense…”
“I know, I know.” His sigh was wistful. “I’d give it all up for you, you know that.”
You took his face in your gloved hands, brushing your thumb across his cheeks. “I would never. Racing is your dream, and we’re only kids. You’d hate me in the future for stopping you from chasing your dreams.”
He watched your gaze flutter across his face, trying to get a read on how he felt - but in his silence you spoke again.
“Hey, if you've gone and got all those big racing dreams of yours… and you still want me…”
Jenson’s hand came to rest on top of yours, gently removing it from his face so he could lace your fingers together. “I’ll always want you.”
You laughed, although there was little humour in it. “Jense, we’re only 16. When you’re an adult you may feel different, especially when you’ve got all these beautiful women throwing themselves at you once you’ve won a race…. I would be over the moon if you still wanted me but I’m not going to be disappointed if your feelings change.”
He gave you a sad smile. “…I’ll always want you.”
His forehead came to rest against yours, skin surprisingly warm despite the freezing temperatures. You went to protest again but his lips captured yours in a sweet kiss, you allowed yourself to indulge in a moment of weakness - letting your arms slide around his neck to keep him close.
Letting him go was the right thing to do, being hung up on a girl he knew back home was only going to hold him back. He deserved the right to explore and be free whilst he travelled the world, you’d never ask him to give that up.
Oh, but he wished you had.
He wished you had when he was invited back home after a race season nearly 12 years later by your mother, insisting he had to be at this party. Neither of you were 16 anymore - he was 28 years old, had just come 18th in the championship and felt absolutely miserable. But you? You seemed to be absolutely thriving.
Job of your dreams, beautiful home… and William. Fucking William.
The two of you had been together for almost 3 years now, he was some hot-shot CEO of his own company - money coming out of his ass, private jets, cars. And you knew he spoiled the shit out of you, every time you came to a race to support Jenson - William had insisted on paying for you to have the best experience, despite Jenson offering to do the whole lot for free.
And when he pulled up to the address your mother had given him, he thought his jaw was going to fall through the floor. Sure, he’d seen mansions in his time - but this was a whole different level.
It had a fucking maze in the garden for crying out loud. With a fountain in the middle? Who did this guy think he was? He reluctantly gave his car keys over to the valet, before following others inside - all of a sudden feeling drastically underdressed in his sports coat. He was more than grateful for the champagne that was offered to him as he desperately sought out someone, anyone he knew.
The two of you had grown up together, he thought you had the same friends but he couldn’t recognise a single face. Despite the two of you staying in near constant contact, he suddenly felt like he really didn’t know you at all. The girl he knew would scoff at all this, one of your favourite activities when you came to races past - before William - was making fun of all of the rich people, flaunting their wealth but now you were one of them.
He stepped out onto the back patio, eyes finally landing on your parents - chatting away without a care in the world, your father adorned with a watch and a diamond necklace draped across your mothers neck that he knew they couldn’t afford.
“Jenson! You made it!” Your Mum’s face lit up at the sight of him - she stepped away from the other couple she was with to wrap him up in a tight hug. “Oh she’s going to be so happy you’re here.”
“Have you seen her? I don’t feel like I know anyone here.” He chuckled awkwardly, giving your Dad a hug as well.
“Oh I’m sure she’s just making some finishing adjustments, we need her to look perfect.” She grinned.
Jenson frowned. “What’s the occasion?”
Your mum gasped. “Oh, I was sure William would have told you!”
He resisted the urge to roll his eyes. “William and I aren’t exactly best mates. I think he only tolerates me because I’ve been around for so long.”
Jenson didn’t miss the look your parents exchanged before your Mum placed a gentle hand on his forearm, giving him a sorry smile. “William is proposing to her, love.”
In that moment, he could’ve sworn his heart stopped - he didn’t know you and William were so serious. He always thought that he was just a distraction until the two of you were both in a place where you were ready to commit. It had almost happened when he got 3rd place back in 2004, but you were so close to a big promotion and you wanted to focus on that. You always wanted to be able to give the other your full 100%, be in a place in life where you were secure - maybe he should’ve just said fuck it and let himself be selfish.
He wasn’t mad at you for dating William, he could never be. But were you really about to marry him? The garden went quiet for a moment, so he looked over his shoulder.
You slowly walked down the stairs into the garden - a long dress in a deep blue hugging your figure, long sleeves to protect you from the cooler weather - a slit in the side allowed you to walk elegantly, your hand still resting against the cold stone of the railing. Jenson wasn’t sure he’d ever seen you with such professional looking makeup, nails to match your dress too. Beneath the jealousy, he felt the urge to tease you - wind you up for becoming one of the posh people you’d always claimed to loathe.
But you looked nervous as you started greeting everyone - eyes flickering around the party, you looked beautiful too, of course, but he recognised the look on your face - he’d only seen it a few times through your life but this was probably the worst he’d seen it. Fear. Did you know what was happening…? And who were you looking for?
William practically led you around the party, his hand never straying from the small of your back - which Jenson could now see was nearly exposed from the low back of your dress, adding to the elegance of your look. Jenson considered going over, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Instead, he loitered around your parents - not really letting himself join in on the conversation either, just keeping a watchful eye on you.
But that didn’t last too long either, the clinking of a champagne glass and microphone feedback filled the garden.
“Evening all, thank you all for joining us.” William had led you to the middle of the patio, his hand still on the small of your back.
“I’m sure she’s loving being the centre of attention like this.” He mumbled, earning a gentle elbow to the side from your mother. “Tell me I’m wrong.”
“Oh, shush. You had your chance.” She snipped at him.
He went to protest but instead shook his head and turned back to the scene in front of him - you were fiddling with the tips of your fingers, trying to avoid eye contact with the onlooking crowd but still glancing up as if you were looking for someone. Is she looking for me?
“As you know, I’ve been lucky to spend the last 3 years with this wonderful woman at my side.” William spoke with a confidence that demanded attention, Jenson wanted to tear his eyes away but he just couldn’t. “She came into my life at just the right time, and I can’t wait to see where the rest of our time together takes us… so…”
Your whole body froze as William sank to one knee, fishing a small velvet box from his suit pocket. “William…”
Jenson wasn’t sure if anyone else heard the tone of your voice like him, or if he’d just made it up - but it sounded like a warning.
“Would you make me the happiest man alive, and do the honour of being my wife? Will you marry me?”
You risked looking at the crowd one final time, and when your eyes finally met the blue you’d been searching for - you practically felt the tension melt away. Jenson tilted his head a little, raising his brow - you didn’t miss the way the corner of his mouth tugged up into a teasing smirk and you had to bite your lip to stop yourself from returning it. You didn’t miss the way your heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, how in that moment you wanted nothing more than to rush across the garden and have him wrap you up in his arms.
“…well?”
“Oh.” You suddenly remembered the man currently on one knee in front of you. You tore your gaze away from Jenson to look down at him, a sorry smile on your face. “…I’m… I’m really flattered, Will, I am. Uhm, maybe we can talk about this in private?”
The silence of the crowd was replaced with whispers, although he stood behind him - Jenson could see William’s entire body stiffen and his ears turn a dark pink with embarrassment. “…yeah, uh… yeah okay.”
William passed the microphone to someone before walking off, leaving you standing alone - you mumbled apologies to everyone before doing your best to catch up with him, holding the bottom of your dress so as not to trip over your heels. Jenson finally felt like he could breathe again; whilst everyone else was upset and shocked by the scandal before them - he felt relieved, you did still want him.
“…maybe inviting you was a bad idea.”
Jenson looked to your mother, who was still staring straight ahead. “You can’t tell me you didn’t know that there was a chance she’d say no. This was her choice… this has nothing to do with me.”
She shot him a look. “I saw her face when she realised you were here, Jenson. You had your chance with her, why can’t you let her move on?”
“I’ve not had my chance with her… don’t you see that? I’ve been waiting until I can give her the life she deserves and-“
“She doesn’t need to wait, William can give her that.”
Jenson scoffed. “This isn’t the life she wants… I know William wants her to quit her job and play the pretty little housewife but that’s not who she is. You know that, I know that. And proposing to her in front of all these people? Most of whom I’m not convinced she’d even met before today? Her worst nightmare.”
“Jenson.”
“You didn’t have to invite me… but you did.” He stood his ground. “If you wanted this to happen then you should’ve kept me in the dark, but you know deep down, just as well as I do, that William isn’t the one for her. I love your daughter, more than he ever could.”
Before she could speak again, your father placed a hand on her shoulder - bringing her attention to him. “What’s done is done. It’s her choice at the end of the day… and she didn’t say no, they might be working it out as we speak.”
Your mother rolled her eyes. “Yes honey, because that’s how all happy marriages start - with an argument.”
As the two of them bickered back and forth, Jenson decided to make himself scarce and track you down - weaving through the crowds who were still speaking in hushed tones. Poor William. What was she thinking? How embarrassing.
He ignored them, pushing his way inside - listening out for the two of you and seemingly you hadn’t gone far. A nearby door slightly ajar, a raised voice coming from inside.
“This is so embarrassing! All of my friends are here!”
“And almost none of mine, William.” Your voice was a lot more level, calm. Jenson lent against the wall just outside of the room. “Why did you not invite any of my friends?”
“These are our friends.” He huffed, Jenson could hear him pacing back and forth. “God, I just wanted today to be special - I got your parents here, fuck, I even got your mother to invite Jenson and you know how I feel about that prick.”
“Hey.” You snapped. “Keep his name out of your mouth.”
William went deadly quiet, it was scary. Jenson was close to peeking around the corner to see what was happening, but then William spoke again.
“It’s him isn’t it? It’s always going to be him.”
Your sigh spoke a thousand words, and this time Jenson did risk looking into the room - just to see the look on your face at your boyfriend’s accusation. You didn’t look sad, you didn’t look angry… you had a look of acceptance. You stepped closer to him, placing a gentle hand on his bicep.
“I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt you…” Your voice was soft, practically laced with honey. “I love you, William… but Jenson…”
Jenson waited with bated breath to hear your next words - you’d told him before how you felt about him, but this was different. You didn’t know he was there - you had no reason to be gentle with your choice of words. He turned back away from the room, head rolled back against the wall - he allowed his eyes to close.
“He makes me not want to sleep because being with him makes reality better than my dreams… Home is wherever he is.” Your voice was practically a whisper, as if you knew your words would sting if they were any louder. “I just don’t think I could love anyone in the same way as I love him. I… I was selfish with you.”
“I was selfish too.” He admitted, his hand coming up to cup your jaw - thumb brushing across your cheek. “I should’ve just let you be with him. I always knew where your heart truly was…”
“William, this isn’t your fault. Please, don’t blame yourself for this… all of this is on me.”
“I should go. I love you.”
“I love you too.” You whispered. “I’m sorry, you deserve better.”
Jenson froze as he heard the sounds of shoes tapping against the floor, there was no way he could get away without being spotted - so he just accepted his fate, he took a deep breath. The footsteps paused in front of him and he opened his eyes to meet the sorrowful gaze of William. “Treat her well, yeah?”
“I promise. I’m sorry it ended like this, man.” He forced a smile. “Best of luck to you?”
William held his hand out and Jenson shook it, pressing his lips into a line. “You too mate. Sorry for keeping her from you all these years.”
With a gentle pat on Jenson’s shoulder, William left to go sate the crowds - leaving your childhood friend alone in the corridor. He took one deep inhale before stepping into the room - your back was to him, as you looked out the tall window, presumably to watch your ex(?) boyfriend subdue all of his friends.
“Just me and you, under the cover of night… in the forest on that cute mossy stone bridge across the river. The one you like to throw pebbles in.”
You looked over your shoulder with a coy smile. “Sorry?”
“That’s how I’m gonna do it.” He shrugged, stepping up behind you - strong hands coming to settle on your hips, pressing a soft kiss to your shoulder. “Nothing fancy like all this.”
He relished in the way your cheeks flushed. “That sounds wonderful, Jense… I can’t wait.”
“Not much longer, I promise.” He whispered, this time kissing just behind your ear. “I’d propose to you right now if we weren’t literally at your engagement party.”
You laughed, turning in his arms. “Tomorrow then?”
He couldn’t help the smile on his face. “Tomorrow it is.”
***
Your feet crunched against the snowy ground, nose and cheeks tinged pink as you made the walk from your flat to Jenson’s house - the roads were too icy to drive and you’d always loved the snow, so walking was the easy choice. You smiled softly as you walked through your old neighbourhood, kids laughing and throwing snowballs, parents peeking through the curtains to watch on.
It didn’t surprise you that Jenson had spent some of his earnings to buy a small home here - it was one of his favourite places in the world, yours too. You rapped your gloved hands against the door, rocking back and forth on your heels as you waited.
As soon as it opened, you were wrapped up in Jenson’s arms - a kiss placed on your cold forehead before he stepped out to join you, locking the door behind him. “Can’t believe it’s snowing.”
“I know, especially since it was so sunny yesterday.” You hummed, looping your arm around his. “Where are we going?”
He gave you a soft smile. “Do you not remember the plans we made yesterday?”
“O-oh.” You giggled. “Yeah, yeah I remember.”
“Good.” Jenson pressed a soft kiss to your temple. “Then let’s go.”
“Wait.” You stopped him walking to take his face in your hands, pressing a kiss to his lips. “I love you.”
“I love you.” His voice was practically a whisper. “We don’t have to do this today… you literally just broke up with William.”
You tilted your head, giving him a sweet smile - brushing your thumbs across his cheeks. “I want this. I want you.”
His grin was almost bright enough to melt the snow around you, he took your hand in his and the two of you began the journey - careful to avoid any icy patches, holding each other close for balance. Jenson took the time to give you a full catch up of his next season, Honda had pulled out due to financial issues so Ross Brawn had bought the team and they were starting from what felt like nothing - a big risk, they weren’t… well anything. But he had faith, he had to. After coming 18th, what did he have to lose?
You had nothing but adoration for him in his career, no matter where he ended up - you felt foolish for letting each other put your career ahead of your relationship. You knew you were capable of getting your career goals with Jenson by your side, but you always feared he’d have resented you if you’d somehow got in the way of him getting the wins he deserved.
But as you stepped into the forest, the frozen stream sparkling beneath the bridge - none of your worries seemed to matter anymore. Jenson took both of your hands in his and carefully led you onto the bridge, careful not to slip as he walked backwards. “Your trousers will get wet if you kneel, Jense.”
“Worth it.” He grinned. “I know this isn’t a surprise, but you got to promise to let me get through what I have to say, okay?”
“Promise.” You hummed, taking a deep breath, giving his hands a squeeze.
You bit your lip as he got on his knees, keeping his gloved hands wrapped around yours. “Where do I even start?”
“Might be a bit long if you start at the beginning.” You teased.
“Hey, what did I say?” He hushed, narrowing his eyes playfully at you. “Okay… honestly, I don’t think there’s any words that could truly describe just how much I love you, but I’m going to try my best.”
He almost couldn’t get the words out with the way you were looking at him - a gentle sparkle in your eyes as you held back the tears, the softest of smiles on your lips. He took a deep breath.
“You’re my best friend, my soulmate… I literally cannot remember a life before you and I don’t ever want to picture my life without you. I wish I could specify the exact moment in time I knew you were the person I wanted to spend the rest of time with, but it was gradual, all consuming. You’re my first thought when I wake up, my last thought before I fall asleep and you fill all of my best dreams.”
He let go of your hands to remove his gloves and yours from your left hand. “I don’t care that my career isn’t where I want it to be. My biggest regret is simply that I didn’t do this sooner… I want us to achieve our dreams together. I want us to grow and change together.”
The tears were freely rolling down your cheeks and as he pulled a small black box out of his coat pocket, you felt like you couldn’t breathe. How you felt in this moment was polar opposite to how you had felt when it was William on one knee in front of you - you felt safe, loved… Jenson was all you’d ever wanted.
“So, my love, I’m sorry I’m not the first man to ask you this… but I hope to be the last.” He opened up the box, a beautiful ring inside. “Will you marry me?”
You nodded faster than you ever had. “Yes, oh my god, yes.”
Jenson grinned, and you let him slide the ring onto your finger - and you took a moment to admire it, recognising it as his Grandmother’s, a ring that had been promised to you by her when you were no older than 8 and now it was really on your finger. You looked to your fiancé, who was now standing with an expectant look on his face.
“You gonna kiss me or what?” You purred, running your hands up his chest.
“Don’t have to ask me twice, baby.”
He only gave himself a moment to grin before kissing you with a new vigour - when you brought your hands up to hold his face again, he could feel the press of your ring against his skin and it made his heart race. He pulled back just enough to nudge his nose against yours.
“I told you before and I’ll tell you until the end of time… I’ll always want you.”

Hope you enjoyed!
This is really a birthday present for myself cus I’m fully in my Jenson era but I hope you all like it ♥️
Warnings: Swarthy pirates fighting each other… Will being lied to… Will also being a sweetheart
Request: “This is me absolutely begging and foaming at the mouth for you to write a Will Turner x reader. I’m fine with fluff or smut lmao. I have a couple ideas if you also want to write multiple (or blend them into 1), you totally don’t have to though. Being Jacks sister but also constantly making berth at Port Royale when you were younger, results in a close friendship between you and a certain Mr. Will Turner. The killer is, you always told Will your brother was a merchant and that you would accompany him on his trips. In reality, you were always off doing pirate things with Jack. Consequently, the day Jack broke into Mr. Brown’s smithery, you later arrived with Will. This resulted in a 2 on 1 fight (or maybe not) with a lot of confused looks being shared between Jack and yourself. Plus Will defending your honor” @gingerdissapointment
A/N: Pretending to be a merchant, you befriend Will Turner as you keep your pirating a secret, until your brother forces you to reveal the truth
Her sword clashed terribly with the swarthy pirates of the East Atlantic, fighting over hidden treasure beneath the sandy shores of a neutral island. She kicked up the dry sand, silencing the battle cry of the enemy.
He spit and scratched at his eyes as (Y/N) jabbed the sword into his stomach, shoving him aside. Whipping around the beach, Jack pranced away from a group of opposing pirates. She rolled her eyes at his wailing.
“For the love…” she ran after her brother, realizing that with the crew winning the battle, the other pirates were running for Jack. In his hands lay the key to the gold.
She waved off Cotton’s parrot and threw a dagger at Marty, the blade sticking into the sand, to give him a chance to cut the ropes around his wrists. Ahead was Jack and a quartet of pirates splashing along the shore.
Summary: When Bradley met you in a dive bar in Virginia, he just knew he wasn't going to be able to stop thinking about you. Even a year later, he still remembers your laugh and the way you kissed him.
Warnings: Fluff, drinking and swearing
Length: 2800 words
Pairing: Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x Female Reader
I wrote this for the 'Its not the prompt. It's the creator' challenge from @tgm-all4one. Check out my masterlist for more!
Bradley flipped through the options in the ancient jukebox while he sipped a cheap beer. This had to be the shittiest bar he'd ever been inside, and that was really saying something, since he was a University of Virginia alumni.
"Let's see..." he muttered. "Danger Zone? No. Take My Breath Away? Nah. Slow Ride? Absolutely not."
He finally selected Great Balls of Fire and turned to check where his cousins had disappeared off to. But the bar was packed with locals waiting for the fireworks to start over the Chesapeake Bay, and he couldn't spot any of them.
If they ditched him in this sticky little hellhole on the outskirts of Norfolk, Virginia, he was going to be so pissed. He scanned the bar once more as the song started playing, and his eyes settled on the cutest thing he had seen in a long time.
You were holding your beer bottle like a microphone and aggressively lip syncing along with Jerry Lee Lewis as his voice blasted from the jukebox.
Bradley smiled. You were right in the middle of the crowded bar, but nobody else had seemed to notice how you were shimmying along to the song, looking adorable in your own little world. Your eyes were squeezed shut as you mouthed Come on baby, you drive me crazy! Goodness, gracious, great balls of fire!
When Bradley laughed, you opened your eyes, and they met his immediately. You pressed your lips together, suddenly looking shy at being caught rocking out. You covered your mouth with your hand in embarrassment as your eyes went wider while Bradley tried to squeeze through the crowd to get to you.
He was afraid you were going to try to sneak off, but you didn't. You were just nonchalantly drinking your beer when he reached you.
"That was quite a performance," he said, and you looked up at him, clearly amused.
"I don't know what you're talking about," you replied, but your smirk said otherwise.
"That was my song," he said, nodding toward the jukebox.
"What do you mean?" you asked, pressing the bottle to your lips, and drawing Bradley's eyes down to watch the way you took a sip, the bottle lingering on your bottom lip for a beat.
"I selected it. On the jukebox," he grunted, and you laughed at him.
"No, you didn't. I did."
Bradley scoffed as you squared your shoulders and jutted out your chin in playful defiance. "I chose it like three minutes ago," Bradley insisted.
"I picked it like five minutes ago!" Your laugh was infectious, and Bradley just wanted to keep it going.
He shook his head solemnly. "It's still my song."
And you shook your head, imitating him. "If anything, it's Jerry Lee Lewis's song."
"Well, I can't argue with that. I did love your cover version though."
"Thanks." God, your smile was adorable. And your lips on that bottle had him thinking some scandalous things about your mouth.
He cleared his throat. "Are you from Norfolk?"
You sighed deeply. "Unfortunately. You?"
"Virginia Beach."
You crinkled your nose and made a face that had him laughing again. "That might be even worse. You still live there?"
"For now," he replied. "I'm waiting on a new work assignment."
"Can I tell you a secret?" you asked, and when Bradley nodded, you coaxed him closer with your finger. Gorgeous. You were so pretty, Bradley was afraid he wouldn't be able to comprehend your words this close to your eyelashes and your mouth. "I escaped. I live in San Diego now."
"Bravo," he whispered, but he knew you could still hear him over the jukebox as it played Slow Ride. "What's it like to escape Virginia? I've only ever read about it in works of fiction. I've never met anyone who actually managed to do it."
You laughed again, and Bradley had to fight the urge to kiss you. He didn't even know your fucking name, but he was dying to feel your lips on his.
"It wasn't easy," you promised. "Oh, no, my friend, it was not easy. My whole family still lives here, in Norfolk. My brother is in the damn Navy, if you can believe that. What a waste of a career, right?" you said with a massive eye roll. Bradley opened his mouth to respond, but you added, "Today is his birthday. Born on the Fourth of July, in the military, model citizen. I come home for his birthday every year and end up in this shitty bar every year."
Bradley couldn't contain his smile. "I'm in the Navy."
Your eyes went wide. "Oh, shit. The Navy is the best!" you said brightly. "Oh boy, do I ever wish I had joined the Navy!"
Bradley tipped his head back and laughed harder. "I like you. You're brutally honest," he said, still laughing as you bit your lip, unable to stop smiling.
"I'm so sorry," you said, trying not to laugh. "Come here. Let me buy you another beer to make up for the fact that you're in the Navy, you poor thing."
Bradley just shook his head, but then you took his hand in yours and gently led him to the bar. And you kept your hand linked with his while you ordered two drinks. But when you started to reach into your pocket to pay, Bradley took both of your hands in his larger one, and you looked up at him, surprised.
"I've got it," he told you, pulling some cash out of his own pocket. "It's not every day you meet a celebrity."
"Celebrity?" you asked, and he pulled you closer by both hands.
"You escaped Virginia! Buying you a drink would have to give me good karma! Who knows, maybe I'll even get stationed somewhere new."
Bradley released your hands when the beers arrived, but you didn't move away from him. "Where do you want to get stationed?" you asked, and Bradley couldn't look away from the curve of your lips as you took the first sip from the bottle.
"Somewhere warm," he told you. "But I guess I could learn how to brave some cold weather if I had to."
When the woman behind you bumped into you, Bradley could feel the warmth from your body through his clothes. You were that close. He wanted you closer. And then you were snug up against the front of him. "Well, I think you're brave," you told him with wide, teasing eyes.
"Because I'm in the Navy?" he asked, taking a sip of his beer as you shook your head.
"No," you told him with a soft laugh. "Because you dare to sport a mustache. Almost nobody can pull that off." Now you were giggling as he ran his fingers along his facial hair.
"I think you're having a lot of fun at my expense here tonight," he told you. "I think you like me."
You were quiet for a few seconds, and Bradley's heart beat a little faster when you said, "I think you like me, too."
"What's not to like?" he whispered, and your eyes fluttered closed as he ran his fingers along your cheek. "You stole my song. You hate my job. You made fun of my facial hair. And you managed to hijack my escape from this state, because surely the odds of two of us getting out are just too high."
And then you kissed him. Just a soft brush of your lips to his. But it was perfect. And then the fireworks started outside, but you stayed right there with him, your hand coming to rest on his chest.
Everyone else rushed out to the deck or down along the water to watch the colorful display, even the bartender. But you didn't move an inch, and now Bradley was setting down his beer. This time he kissed you, and you nibbled on his lower lip as your other hand tangled in his hair. Bradley's hands went to your waist, as he tasted you. Beer and something kind of sweet.
"What's your name?" Bradley asked between kisses, and when you told him, the sound of it echoed through his mind. He whispered it back to you, against your lips as you dragged your fingernails along his scalp. "I'm Bradley."
"Hi, Bradley," you said with a smile between kisses. "I'm sorry I stole your song. And I actually think your mustache is cute."
He was smiling so much against your neck as he kissed you there. "I'm really happy I came to this shitty bar tonight."
"Me too," you gasped as he sucked on you there before returning his lips to yours. These hurried, needy kisses turned more languid as they slowed down. You had pushed Bradley back onto an empty stool, your palms on his splayed thighs as he stroked your neck and face while you kissed. Every little moan and gasp had him coaxing you closer, and then the fireworks ended. The other patrons started trickling back into the bar as your lips nudged his in one final kiss.
You pulled away from him, smiling and sliding your hands down to his knees. He leaned a little close to your face, ready to beg for one more kiss as he said, "Please, let me have your phone number."
You leaned in and kissed the corner or his lips before you backed away. Bradley was up out of the stool, chasing the warmth of your body, but you shook your head.
"That's not a good idea," you told him, gently pressing your palm to his chest, and it took you a few beats to meet his eyes. "And make you pine for me from afar?" you asked with a soft, teasing smile. "I couldn't live with that."
Bradley whispered your name about a dozen times in a row until your eyes closed. He kissed you softly and said, "I'm pretty sure I'll be doing that anyway. Pining for you."
You looked up at him, gaze darting between his lips and his eyes, almost like you were about to cave. But you shook your head and said, "You'll forget all about me by tomorrow."
Then someone called your name from the other side of the bar and stole your attention from him. And Bradley felt all the perfect flirtation and banter and kisses slipping through his grasp.
"I need to go," you told him, and you looked so sad. "I hope you escape Virginia."
He nodded slightly, running his thumb across your soft cheek one more time. "I know this sounds weird, but I'm going to miss you."
And then you kissed him again, as if you understood exactly what he meant. And then you were gone.
-------------------------------
Bradley thought about you a lot. Sometimes he let your name grace his tongue with the sweet feel of it. Sometimes he would daydream about your laugh. But the moment he opened his mail in late August and read the line detailing the location of his new station, a slew of obscenities flew out of his mouth.
San Diego. He was going to be stationed in San Diego.
And he had no idea how to reach you. He only knew your first name. But he spent his first few months there hopeful that he would run into you somewhere. So he visited different grocery stores. He took different running tails. He went to the mall across town once. And each time he did one of those things, he felt ridiculous. Stupid. Idiotic. Until he remembered your smile and the way you made him feel so good while also poking fun at him.
As the months wore on, he went on dates and kissed other girls, but he still thought about you sometimes. When he listened to Jerry Lee Lewis, he pictured you singing into your beer bottle. When he drank a cheap beer, he could almost hear your laugh.
You had told him that you go to that same shitty bar every year on your brother's birthday. But just as Bradley purchased tickets for a roundtrip flight from San Diego to Norfolk, he realized you probably didn't even remember him. What was he going to do? Walk into that bar and tell you he missed you? You'd look at him like he was insane. Or worse, like you had no fucking clue who he was.
He thought about not going. Just letting the tickets go to waste. But at the very least, he would be able to visit his cousins for the night. At the very least, he might just be able to see you again, just for a minute.
----------------------------
You sat at the bar, across the room from your brother. You didn't know why you still bothered to come home for the weekend every year, but here you were. In Norfolk. Again.
As politely as you could, you turned down the red headed guy who tried to buy you a drink. And you did the same thing to the blond, too. Because now you associated this shithole bar with wavy, sandy brown hair and big, brown puppy eyes. And you weren't about to override your memories from one year ago with some random loser who wanted to buy you a can of Miller Lite.
You hoped Bradley was currently stationed somewhere warm, near a beach. It always made you smile to picture him with his feet in the sand, drinking a beer.
Your head swiveled to the jukebox as soon as you heard the opening piano chords of Great Balls of Fire playing, but there was just an older woman standing there snapping her fingers.
Your heart sank a bit as you settled back into your stool and sipped your beer. It would have been too good to be true, and you were ridiculous for even entertaining the thought. But then that raspy voice was behind you, saying your name and making goosebumps break out all across your skin.
When you turned and met his warm eyes, your mouth fell open. He was here. And he looked so handsome and nervous. And your heart was hammering too hard, making it difficult to talk.
"I don't know if you remember me," he said softly, looking at your face like you were the most precious thing he had ever seen. "But-"
"Bradley! How could I forget?" you breathed, and you watched his smile grow. "I was hoping you'd escape Virginia."
He laughed, and you wanted to kiss his mustache again. "I did. And I've been looking for you for ten months."
You leaned in a little closer and grinned. "Well I've been in San Diego."
"Me too," he said, and you tilted your head in question, but he just smiled more. "That's where I've been stationed since September."
"Oh!" you gasped. "You escaped to my city!"
"Mmhmm. And you made me come all the way back to shitty Norfolk, Virginia to find you."
You laughed. "You came back here for me?"
He nodded and stroked his fingers across your cheek just the way you remembered. "Yes. All I could think about was the way you told me you come here every year on this day. So I've been waiting months for the chance to try to see you again."
"That's really romantic," you told him, letting your palm come to rest on his chest.
He covered it with his as he said, "My full name is Bradley Bradshaw. I live in Coronado, California on Pomona Avenue. And if you're single, I'm not leaving here without your phone number."
You were clamoring off your stool before he even finished talking, and he welcomed you into his arms. And then you kissed him, just like you had a year ago, his body warm and perfect against yours. You told him your full name between kisses, running your fingers through his hair and melting into him. "And yes, you can have my phone number, Bradley Bradshaw."
He sighed against your cheek. "Even though I've been pining for you from afar?"
You laughed, remembering what you'd told him last year. "Apparently you've been pining for me from nearby. And that just won't do. Because I've thought about you... about the guy with the cute mustache who acted like he owns Jerry Lee Lewis's music catalog. About the only guy I ever kissed in the middle of a dive bar before I even knew his name," you whispered.
And then Bradley was kissing you again before he ended up sitting on the bar stool with you perched on his leg. He gave you his phone so you could save your number for him, and you sat like that until last call, just talking and laughing and occasionally kissing with the promise of more to come.
When you got back to your parents' house with your brother, your phone illuminated with a new text message.
Bradley Bradshaw: Meet me in San Diego.

They were both pining from afar! Thanks @mak-32 and @beyondthesefourwalls for putting up with me.

It was the first race of the season and the official ‘hard launch’ of yours and Charles’ relationship, from this point you were allowed to start posting clear images of each other - but you had been begging the team to have a proper meeting about your reveal but Mattia kept pushing it, delaying and delaying until it was too ‘inconvenient’ because of the race weekend and the focus would now be on the upcoming race instead of you. Instead, you were told to just keep your head down and focus on your performance on and off the track as both Charles’ girlfriend and as Thirty.
Your jaw felt tight as you pulled your Ferrari polo over your head, Charles humming softly behind you as he gathered his things for the day - in seemingly much higher spirits than you. The car had performed well during testing and so his hopes were high for a good result in the first race. “Are you nearly ready to go, y/n?”
“Yeah, of course. Just need to grab my bag… I dropped most of my stuff off at the motorhome yesterday.” You smiled, taking his hand as he offered it to you. “You ready for quali?”
“I’m actually buzzed.” He said, grinning and pulling you closer. “Starting the season off with a new car and with the best girl at my side?”
You rolled your eyes playfully. “Charles, I’ve been at your side for years.”
He playfully narrowed his gaze, lifting his hand to cup your jaw - leaning in and pressing a gentle kiss to your lips. “You know what I mean, don’t be a tease. I’m sorry that they keep dismissing your meeting, I know it must be getting frustrating.”
“You have no idea.” You sighed softly. “And I want to talk to them about us as well… I don’t know if they’ll want to handle this differently now there’s real feelings involved.”
“Well, either way I’m here for you. I know I say this a lot but I like you and regardless of what they say I can see a future for us.”
“Those are some big words, Charles… you really think about the future like that?” He could tell your voice was timid, that you were unsure.
The Monaco native simply nodded. “Not to scare you off or anything. I know it’s quick to say it but I’ve always felt strongly for you and this whole situation has just cemented it for me.”
“It doesn’t. I’ve just… I’ve just been alone for so long it feels strange to have someone who wants to stay in my life long term…”
The fact your admission didn’t shock Charles broke his heart- having the career you did, didn’t allow people to get close and those who were lucky enough to be in your life, like your father, were nowhere. He wanted to be that person for you, the person you could always turn to even if the rest of the world seemed to turn its back.
“Well, you’re stuck me with me for as long as you want me around.” He spoke softly, almost as if he was scared that his voice could break you if he raised it.
You gave him a gentle smile before the two of you head out to the paddock for qualifying day - they wanted to use you and Charles coming together as a distraction from the Thirty rumours, so you complied. You knew biting back would just result in them pushing your meeting further and further but you just couldn’t afford to get sued either. You were under their thumb, so for now you had to let them play their cards before you showed yours.
Although you knew yours and Charles' relationship was F1’s worst kept secret, you were surprised just how many people seemed to care when you stepped into the paddock hand-in-hand. Your teammate seemed used to it, chatting idly away to you as you made your way to the Ferrari motorhome but you couldn’t help but sense every single pair of eyes that fell on you.
“Look at the lovebirds, so cute!” You turned at the sound of Carlos’ voice - his Redbull teammate not too far behind. “I approve of this pairing.”
“That fast, huh?” You teased.
“I’m just surprised it took you so long.” Max chimed in. “We’ve all known each other for nearly 2 decades at this point… so if anything, this is slow.”
“Carlos didn’t know us.” You corrected. “It was really nice to spend time with everyone in Bali though, I felt really welcomed.”
The two Redbull drivers both gave you kind smiles, your childhood friend went to speak again but they were ushered away by their coaches - wanting to get them ready for free practice. You would have to disappear into your mask for the next few hours, put on your persona - visor down, race suit on. Charles gave you one more kiss on the cheek before ushering you into the motorhome, making it seem as if you were simply a couple spending some time apart. But you were subtly guided into your driver's room to get ready yourself.
You just wanted this weekend over with.

You and Charles sandwiched Max on the grid when the race finally rolled around, the Champion’s teammate beside you on the second row. You knew Redbull were going to be tough to beat, their car seemed significantly better than last year and with Mercedes seemingly struggling the fight was going to be between you and them. Your third championship was within reach and you were going to fight tooth and nail to get it - not letting your relationship with Charles sway that. Sure, you wanted him to win his first but at the end of the day, you’d be lying if you said you didn’t want that feeling again.
It was dark as you sat in the cockpit of your car, eyes flickering across the track in front of you as the team worked on your car. Your race engineer repeated race strategy over the comms to you and you simply nodded along - tapping your fingers on your steering wheel.
Charles walked past your car and patted the halo lightly, sending you a smile before heading to his own car - race helmet hanging from his fingers. His fireproofs clung to his figure and you couldn’t help but study his figure; his broad shoulders into his little waist - it was crazy the way some of these men were built and the Monegasque was no exception to that. There were many times during your trip that you wanted to throw caution to the wind and just have your way with him. But you needed to behave, as much as you wanted to enjoy these new feelings with him, getting another Championship was at the front of your mind.
As the cars circled the track in the formation lap, your mind cleared of everything - it was the first race of the season and you were determined to make it the best one yet. If you were going to take your helmet off some day soon, you had to make sure everyone remembered why you had the seat in the first place. You deserved to be here and you had to prove that to yourself and everyone else.
You pulled up to your grid spot, angling your car in just a way to get the best start. And with one more deep breath, the lights began to count down.
“It’s lights out and away we go.”
The first race of the season and you’d got a 1-2, the absolute perfect start - it couldn’t have gone any better, especially with both Redbull cars not finishing the race. As soon as you stepped out of the car, Charles wrapped you up in a hug - his strong arms squeezing you tight. “We did it!”
You held in your laughter knowing there were cameras nearby that could pick up audio and gave him a squeeze back. A warm touch was placed on your shoulder and you turned to see the kind eyes of none other than Lewis, the Redbull DNF meant he was joining you both on the podium - he’d been one of your biggest rivals the last few years but he always had nothing but kind words to say about you, even in during your toughest battles.
“Amazing race today, Thirty. Just saw a clip of your overtake on Checo before he went out, so smooth.” He smiled, his gaze flickering across your helmet.
It took everything in you not to thank him, so you simply gave his hand a firm shake. He gave you an understanding smile and went back over to his team. You could see the media hoping you’d come over for a post-race interview but before you could even think about it you were ushered straight inside to wait for the podium. Their fear you would reveal the secret was becoming larger each day, especially with the speculation - so any time they could get you away from the press they would.
“You didn’t say anything out there did you?” Your handler spoke up, you shook your head. “You didn’t do anything that would give you away?”
They were the standard questions he asked after every race, but more than ever they irked you - you’d been doing this for years, they just never trusted you. You bit your tongue and nodded again, wanting nothing more than to take your helmet off and run out on the podium.
“Good. Now, you know the next bit - go out, get your trophy, champagne and then back to your room.”
A stray tear rolled down your cheek, the worst part of it all was not being able to celebrate with your team after the race. Share your achievement with the people who had helped you get there. It broke your heart. Sure, they had Charles’ win to celebrate this time but when it had just been you on the podium you watched them all cheer without you. This time however, you were caught a little by surprise when on the podium, Charles’ hand came up to rest on the side of your helmet - it was just for a moment but the way he looked at you made your heart skip a beat. And with no nearby mics to pick up any audio he leant in and whispered.
“Champagne in your room after this.”
You were so glad to be wearing your helmet because your cheeks flushed as dark as your race suit. God, I wish I could kiss you right now. You were brought back into the moment as your visor was coated in champagne by Lewis, the Brit smiling big as he tipped the bottle over your helmet. You returned the favour by spraying him directly in the chest - savouring the moment of celebration before you were locked away.
It was then you decided to put your toe across the line, as the three of you stepped off the podium and out away from the cameras - you turned to Lewis, approaching him before your handler could haul you away. “Thank you. For everything… I-”
Before you could get another word out, your handler grabbed you by the wrist and dragged you away - not before you managed to get a look at Lewis’ reaction. His face had split into a big smile. “Thank you as well!”
You were practically shoved into your room by your handler, who slammed the door behind you. “What the fuck was that? You know the terms of your contract, y/n. Are you trying to get sued?!”
“All I said was thank you.” You said calmly, finally pulling your helmet off. “The media knows I’m a woman so what’s the harm in saying thank you to Lewis? I could still be anyone.”
His jaw clenched. “You better hope he says nothing or else this will have big consequences.”
He left the room in a huff when you didn’t respond, simply slumping on the sofa - letting your head roll back onto the back. Your eyes fluttered closed as you finally took a moment to yourself to be happy with your result. P2 in the first race of the season. If this is how the rest of it was going to be then maybe your third championship really was possible.
“Knock knock.” Charles pushed open the door just enough to come into the room with a bottle of champagne, locking it behind him. “As promised… felt wrong celebrating without you.”
Your teammate sat beside you, offering you the bottle of which you took a large sip. “That was, uh, cool what you did… with Lewis.”
“Could’ve fucked my entire career but-” You shrugged. “Honestly, fuck it. I’ve raced him my entire career… I would’ve said more if-”
Charles chuckled and draped an arm across your shoulders, letting your head rest against him. “You said plenty. You have no idea how much that meant to Lewis, he was absolutely buzzing. Giggling like a little school girl.”
That made you smile. “Oh, good… I really… I don’t regret doing it, I know Lewis understands what I’m going through - I trust him to keep his cool around the press even if I don’t have to ask.”
“Cheers to that.”
You tilted your head to look at him, his green eyes already directed at you. His hand came up once again but this time could rest on your skin - his thumb brushing across your cheek before he pressed a chaste but meaningful kiss to your lips. Your eyes fluttered closed as you savoured the feeling, chasing his lips as he pulled back - just enough where you could feel his breath against your skin.
“...be mine?”
You let out a breathless chuckle. “Am I not already?”
He scoffed playfully. “You’re such a tease, mon amour… please, be my girlfriend… for real.”
“Mhmm, pretty boy. Love when you beg” You giggled softly, pressing your lips to his. “I’d love to be your girlfriend, Charles.”
You weren't sure what response you expected but he simply rested his forehead against yours, his hand still resting on your jaw - a small, soft smile on his face. “I really like you, y/n. And no matter what happens with your career, I’ve got your back. You’ve been through hell and back for this team and I won’t let them tarnish your reputation.”
“Thank you… and just for the record, I really like you too.”
A knock on the door summoning Charles to the media pen brought you both back to reality, and with one more kiss he left the room - allowing you to turn on the TV just in time to catch none other than Lewis in front of the camera.
“Congrats on your first podium of the season, Lewis, how are you feeling?”
He nodded eagerly. “Really good, I’m really happy - I know the Redbulls not finishing definitely played its part and we have some work to do with the car but yeah I’m very happy with the result.”
“You had some nice words for Thirty after the race, did they give you anything?”
You chewed nervously at the skin around your fingers but just as you predicted Lewis simply shook his head. “Nothing. They’re as elusive as ever.”
“Thank god.” You mumbled, finally deciding to strip out of your race suit and back into your polo shirt - putting your admin disguise back on before your handler finally decided to send someone to let you out of your room.
When you entered the garage, you started helping pack away - post-race was always the most frustrating for you. To blend in they insisted you do the extra work, but you were exhausted - you’d just done nearly 60 laps of a grand prix and then they expected you to do grunt work too? It was almost as if Charles could hear your internal monologue because he came up behind you, leaning across your shoulder to press a kiss to your cheek.
“My girl… let’s get you out of here, hmm?” His voice was low. “You’ve worked hard enough.”
You let out a sigh of relief, turning to face him. “You read my mind, my hero.”
He lent in and kissed you, his hand finding its home on your jaw - feeling bolder about his affections now you were official outside of the contract. You had almost forgotten that this had all started off as fake but was now very real. He wasn’t kissing you because he had to, he was kissing you because he wanted to. And you were still trying to wrap your head around it all - but while you did, you were going to enjoy every second of it.
When you pulled back from the kiss, you locked eyes with your PR manager who gave you a thumbs up.
“I almost don’t want to tell them it’s real.” You scoffed lightly, taking his hand to tug him out of the garage. “Let them just think we’re really good actors.”
The Monaco native chuckled softly from beside you, squeezing your hand. You were hoping to escape from the paddock, so you kept your head down - your Ferrari cap blocking your face but alas, you were walking next to Charles bloody Leclerc so it was never going to be easy. He was very quickly distracted by some fans at the barriers, stopping to sign and take photos. You waited patiently, playing the role of a good girlfriend, but let your eyes scan the rest of the paddock.
You turned your head when you felt eyes on you - Lewis’ intense gaze had fixated on you from across the way as Bono spoke to him. The cogs turning in his brain were almost visible - like he was putting the pieces together. You gave him a shy wave and he gave you a two finger salute before nodding towards a small passage between two of the Mercedes motorhomes.
“U-Uhm, I’ll be back in a second, Charles.” Your boyfriend acknowledged you with a simple smile, allowing you to slip away towards the former Champion.
It felt bizarre, sneaking into a darkened alleyway with Lewis Hamilton but you were intrigued by what he had to say. There was barely a foot between you as you stood with your back to the wall, his eyes studying you through long lashes. You could feel your heart pounding in your chest.
“...it’s you isn’t it.” His voice was quiet, eyes boring into yours. “You’re Thirty.”
You pressed your lips into a line and he raised a challenging brow, daring you to deny it. “How did you figure it out?”
His smile alone was worth it. “I could never forget your voice… I can’t believe it’s really you.”
There was a different look in his eyes, as if he was really seeing you for the very first time - his rival, his fellow driver. “I… I have so much I want to say to you, y/n. Maybe we can have a proper talk sometime? I’ll give you my number…”
You were collecting Champion’s phone numbers like pokemon cards at this point - after giving you his number and making him text you so he had yours he placed his hand on your shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze, not too dissimilar from the one he’d given you after the race. “It was nice to meet you for real, y/n. Don’t be a stranger.”
It took a moment for you to catch your breath before you returned to Charles who had finally drawn away from the fans to offer you his hand - frowning a little when he saw the clearly exasperated look on your face. “Everything okay?”
You dragged him back to the car, letting out a deep breath - the driver still staring at you with concern. “Lewis knows.”
“...fucking hell. I saw him in the media pen, he didn’t say anything. Reckon you can still trust him?” He asked, placing a hand on your thigh.
“Don’t think I have a choice.” You chuckled nervously. “So that's you, Sebastian, Max and Lewis… Do you think anyone else is suspicious of me?”
“If they are, they’ve not said anything to me.”
The car park was slowly beginning to empty as the rest of the grid made their way to their cars and bikes. You studied each of them, Fernando, Esteban… Yuki… Valtteri… any one of them could suspect you but you’d never know. You let your eyes return to Charles who still had a worried look on his face, so you lent across and pressed a deep kiss to his lips - this time he was the one chasing you as you pulled back; his chest rising and falling and the green of his eyes almost hidden in its entirely by the depth of his pupils.
“How about…” You said, feeling breathless yourself. “...we go back to our hotel and celebrate our podium.”
His eyes widened a little. “You mean-”
“Oh, I mean…”
You lent in, your hand brushing up his thigh as you whispered absolute filth into his ear - you could practically feel his heart racing as you cupped the back of his neck to kiss him once again. Charles had to fight every urge to pull you into his lap and take you right here in the car park but you deserved more for your first time together. He moved back again and started the engine. you gave him a playful smile.
“Take me home, Winner.”

magical realism au where charles is genuinely cursed to never win monaco and he has to go searching for a curse breaker to help him out. he does, like, a shit ton of research online. a quick montage of him traveling to like remote corners of the world for advice, and he eventually gets the contact/address of someone very reputable and very experienced, who happens to live in monaco too! it’s honestly pretty ridiculous and a bit too convenient to charles, but everyone speaks well of this person.
he makes an appointment with the person (who goes by a code name) and gives them a fake name, yknow, just in case its a hoax.
#max is just working as a cursebreaker on the side#he’s just always had a natural talent for like—being impervious to charms and curses and hoaxes#and he’s casually learned how to notice any charms others put on themselves during races#he never really breaks them even though it’s like. unfair and also illegal to use magic during races#he’ll break the harmful hoaxes and jinxes even if they’re not targeted at him (they often are)#but the charms; you know; those are like challenges for him. like you need a charm? i don’t. i’ll beat you anyway#ANYWAY max doesn’t use magic himself he’s kind of just the antithesis of it#i don’t actually have any plot for this i just think the exposition is funny#like imagine traveling and going to the ends of the earth for a reputable and powerful cursebreaker#and it’s your Racing Coworker. Who lives 20mins away 💀#full-time racing driver part-time world renowned cursebreaker (via @drivestraight )
How the fuck are there no lestappen fanfic where Charles adopts a golden retriever puppy who’s name is also coincidentally Max? Like Charles was a bit hesitant to adopt Max cause he didn’t want people thinking that he was obsessed with Max Verstappen or something but he couldn’t leave Max the puppy in the adoption centre anymore so he does end up adopting him.
And one day when Charles was taking Max the golden out for a walk in the park, the leash slips from Charles’ hand and max the golden being the mischievous puppy he is, starts running away and Charles is chasing after him yelling “max!” And asking him to stop running.
Max Verstappen who was just minding his own business while doing his evening run in the park heard a familiar voice yelling his name and when he turns around he sees a golden retriever puppy running towards him and behind the puppy was Charles Leclerc chasing it. Max obviously catches the puppy and waits for Charles to run up to him.
Max couldn’t help but ask, “so, you named a dog after me?”
Charles who was a little out of breath cause he was running in fucking flip flops says, “not my fault that your name is a common name for dogs.”
Okay okay hear me out. Time traveling children. Like Todoroki, Iida, Shinsou and Tamaki casually finding their daughters in their timeline. And god forbid if the kid slips a "daddy?!" at them. *they all have daughters and todo has twin daughters and you cant change my mind *
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Todoroki for sure has twin daughters! I absolutely love this request by the way!

The winter wind buzzed around the students as they lingered in anticipation of the next match. Class A & B were focused , each group strategizing amongst themselves to prepare for their turn to showcase their progress as heroes.
BANG!
Ground Gamma shook below their feet and the air crackled in the silence that followed the deafening explosion.
Eyes darted fiercely around their environment , students and teachers preparing for another attack on the school as they searched for the cause of the disturbance.
"HA! HAH! Very funny 'rage monster' , What? You can't wait for your match to start before you start blowing things up?" Monoma yelled slyly while he looked around looking for Bakugo.
A deep grunt brought everyone's attention towards the explosive blonde who was off in the distance , already getting a head start to find the villain.
"Are you stupid?! That wasn't my explosion, you 'copy/paste leech'!"
Everyone started to rush after Bakugo and into Ground Gamma prepared to fight off the unknown villain.

They stopped in front of the slowly dissipating thick pink fog that hid whoever was inside. Aizawa's hair floated above his shoulders as he adjusted his eyes, trying to make out the small figure coming into sight.
Suddenly the fog disappeared, revealing.....
"What the Hell?!" Bakugo screamed trying to grasp the situation.
"Don't cuss there are children here!" Iida Immediately scolded in response.
"Obviously there are children here 'four eyes'! My question is, why?!" he angrily states, annoyed.
Shoto Todoroki:
Two five year old girls stood there clutching at each other's hands in fear as tears rolled down their round cheeks.
Surprised. At the sight of the girls, everyone's nerves calmed down as they tried to understand the situation. Shoto took another glance towards the twins that were now being comforted by All Might and Aizawa.
His heart pounded against his ribcage as he took in their appearance, which became more familiar to him the more traits he saw. The conversations and noise happening around him faded as he was frozen in shock at the sight.
The twins' hair was even split between two colors, one girl had white on her right side and y/h/c on the left and dark gray eyes. While the other girl had y/h/c on the right and crimson red on left and bright turquoise eyes. Their identical noses scrunched up cutely as they tried to calm down, just like yours. The smile that lit up their faces as All Might transformed into his hero form originally belonged to you, and the way they both excitedly squealed was a picture perfect copy of yours.
Izuku was just as quick at piecing together the traits.
"Todoroki, you don't have younger siblings do you?" he timidly asked.
Shoto was still too surprised to answer coherently. Instead he had shook his head 'no' before he glanced your way, Izuku's eyes following suit.
You and Ochaco had been gushing over the twins cuteness, you paused for a brief moment as you noticed his stare and waved happily.
"Those girls look exactly like what I imagine y/n & I's would." he whispered under his breath, Izuku being the only one who could hear.
Shoto still had his eyes trained on you, his mind reeling from the conclusion it had jumped to.
Ecstatic. There was a resounding silence that echoed as a joyful squeal filled the air. One of the girls had managed to see you among the students, and ran as they happily squealed. Your arms had opened as if on instinct, and the small girl jumped into your arms with her face now buried into your shoulder.
"Do you know these kids y/n?" Tsu questioned, her face eyebrows furrowed in thought.
You shook your head 'no' silently in surprise, while offering comforting pats along the small girl's back.
"Daddy!" The other girl screamed and ran straight to Shoto.
The girl in your arms stirred at the sound and looked for her sister, while your heart fluttered. Shoto's eyes were wide as they stared at the small girl now standing in front of him, her arms raised expectantly as she waited.
His cheeks burned with red heat, the train of thought completely stopped as his eyes glanced from the child to you. Even though he had assumptions, The title of "daddy." had caught him off guard and he was slow to recover.
"Daddy?" The girl whimpered, eyes watering.
The shrill of joy waved through him once more, a quick ripple of small flames released before dissipating. The tips of his ears and neck now matched his bright crimson face as he leaned down and picked the girl up in his arms.
"Shoto and y/n have kids!?!?" Kaminari bellowed loudly.
Chaos erupted as Shoto walked over to you with hasty steps, making sure to keep a steady grip on his daughter. Your eyes were wide as he stood next beside you , mentally trying to process now having two daughters out of thin air.
Your mind swirled for answers, but you couldn't help the deep blush that took over your face as Shoto's free hand held yours. The action made your heart flutter loudly in your ears. This isn't the first time you've held hands with your boyfriend, but in this moment you two didn't just look like a cute couple, but instead a family.
Aizawa managed to gain control over the rowdy students, instructing everyone to the dormitories.
"There's obviously no point in continuing classes today while we investigate. I need to inform the principal, Iida, make sure the class acts accordingly." He states firmly with tired eyes.
Confused. After comforting the girls at the dormitory, y/n was able to coax out bits and pieces of information from them. Your subtle questions being simple and easy for the five year olds to understand. His amazement at your ability to be calm and collected in this situation made him confused, he hadn't been able to utter a single word since his brain short-circuited with the simple title acquirement of 'daddy'.
"My name is Yume!" The twin with white and y/h/c hair happily introduced herself to the students.
"And my name is Hikari!" the girl with red and y/h/c joined along.
Everyone gushed over the twins, as they quickly made friends with your classmates. Shoto sat on the couch next to you, gently placed your hand on his own. Both sets of eyes watched on as Yume & Hikari danced along to a song with Mina.
"Yume said a kid at school manifested his quirk and they got sent here." you stated while you gave his hand a quick squeeze.
"Time travel is such a complex quirk for a five year old to have." His eyebrows furrowed at the thought.
Since it was another child who brought them here there was no way of knowing if and when they would return to the right timeline. Thoughts about how this could affect the future weighed down on his shoulders and he grimaced at the lack of information they possessed.
"I know it's sudden, but the most confused and worried out of all of us are those two. We should just try to make them feel safe as possible."
Your eyes locked with his in confidence and at the mere sight of it, a soft smile formed on his lips.
"Well of course, they are our daughters."
Shoto watched as a wide smile grew on your lips and a gentle laugh escaped you. His thoughts were still plagued with questions that desperately wanted answers, but he knew with you by his side everything would work itself out.
He was going to protect his daughters regardless of any threat.
Amazed. He watched you from afar, Izuku's rambles about how the time travel quirk could work brought him out of his thoughts as he tried to pay attention.
His eyes wandered back over to you, Yume and Hikari practically attached to each hip as you flawlessly moved around the kitchen. Amazement settled on his features, even when Hikari had gotten in your way or Yume had tried to open the stove on her own, you handled it effortlessly like a dance.
Glided around the Hikari to grab ingredients. Grabbed Yume's hand and twirled her in another direction. One asked to lick the cookie dough off the spoon, you swiftly complied with a laugh. The other gets impatient, you place a second cookie dough filled spoon in-front of her eyes as if you expected it. Tiny hands tried to reach for the newly baked cookies without you looking, you lightly tapped them away with your fingers and a smile.
How are you so amazing?
Shoto's thoughts were interrupted when a cookie lightly touched his lips. You stood before him, Yume held in your arms as you both smiled happily at him. Yume's hand held out a cookie to his face eagerly, he gave her a bright smile in return and took a big bite of the cookie.
"My Loves, tell him what you just told me." you laugh.
Yume and Hikari beamed. "Daddy gets the first one!"
He coughed viciously as he almost choked on the treat. The three of you had laughed at his response.
Panicked. He had barely caught the girls from falling off the coach, when Eri and them decided to use it as a makeshift trampoline. Their giggles continued as he safely placed them on the ground and tried to chastise them for their actions. When he saw the tiny feet slip and heads spiraling down, his mind raced and his body moved faster than he could think.
Adrenaline was still pumping as he tried to slow the fast beats of his heart. The panicked feeling faded and he returned to where he was sitting by Iida.
"Woah! Who knew you would be such a good father!" Mina exclaimed.
The comment stroked his pride as his eyes softened at the thought.
The giggles continued throughout the lounge area, the three girls happily playing any game that came to mind. Bakugo grunted in annoyance from his seat , glaring daggers into the back of Shoto's head.
Less than an hour had passed before the panic he buried away, rushed back into his heart at tenfold.
An intense game of 'your it' that some of his classmates joined in on, had ended when the twins ran face first into a wall. The girls had been running too fast and didn't have enough time to stop before the impact.
Shoto kneeled down, wiping the tears that rolled down their cheeks. He gently placed comforting pats on their heads as he examined the faces for injuries.
"Heh! Good job letting those idiots run into a wall! Looks like they took after y/n when it comes to being an airhead." Bakugo smirked with amusement.
The hands that were on the twin's cheeks stilled, his eyes went a shade darker in anger that he didn't show. The ice raced behind him at an alarming speed, Bakugo was captured in a thick sheet of ice. Silence filled the air as Shoto slowly stood and turned towards him, the cold glare ran shivers down Bakugo's spine more than the ice on his skin.
The girls took one look at Bakugo's slightly scared expression and their tears suddenly stopped as bubbly laughs filled the tense room.
Fulfilled. After two days passed since Yume & Hikari appeared, you had somehow convinced him into telling his father. Reluctant to do so even after agreeing, he sent one photo with no explanation.
The photo was one Izuku had taken the day before, the four of you were enjoying a picnic outside. Smiles on each of your faces as Shoto stared down lovingly at you, your eyes tilted up at him almost playfully. The girls smiled widely at the bubbles they had just created wands still clenched in their hands.
Immediately after he pressed send his phone erupted in calls from his father and texts that he chose to ignore, instead focusing on the girls picking flowers and handing them to you to make them flower crowns. His heart ached with love that only grew each moment he spent with his small little family.
"Did you talk to him already? That was fast." you questioned him as he returned to his seat next to you.
"There wasn't much to say."
"Suddenly revealing twin daughters 'wasn't much' to say?" your eyebrows furrowed cutely as you stared at him in disbelief.
He gently pressed a finger to your eyebrows , when you gasped.
"Shoto! you did not!" you hit his arm, breaking his thoughts.
"Hm?" he hummed.
"You did not just drop a baby bomb on your father without explaining it."
A sly smirk appeared on his face confirming your thoughts.
Aizawa interrupted the conversation with a sigh that made you gasp from the jump scare.
"Endeavor called to inform us he's on the way here. I was wondering about the urgency, but now it makes sense." he exclaims with a pointed glare at Shoto.
Depressed. That night after Endeavor had left, a faint pink mist started to form around the girls. You drew Shoto's attention to the growing mist as your hand clasped around his.
His heart sank at their figure's being overtaken as the mist turned to a thick fog. He could no longer see their features and he desperately wanted to reach out and yank them into his arms. Shoto's arm rose slightly, face etched in sadness when you stopped him.
"I didn't get to say goodbye." sorrow filled his eyes as the fog faded, the twins no longer hiding within it.
"The future you is greeting them right now."
Silence settled between you as you embraced him in a hug, tightly holding on to him in hopes you could ease the loss.
"I thought when they went home I would be relieved they had returned safely, but I already miss having them around."
He held onto you tightly, burying his face in your shoulder.
Optimistic. The rest of that night was filled with needy cuddles in shoto's dorm. Sleep eventually took you both into a land filled with dreams of your future family and when the sun once again rose in the morning, Shoto felt more optimistic about his future than the previous night.
"Good Morning, how are you feeling?" you questioned, eyebrows furrowed in worry.
He smirked, placing a finger in between your eyebrows.
"Better."
"Yeah?" you were still worried about him.
"Yes. It isn't goodbye forever, as soon as you get pregnant I'll see them again." A sly smirk played on his lips at your shocked expression.
You slap him hard on the chest as he laughed. "We aren't rushing anything!"

。・:*˚:✧。 Bonus Scene:
Endeavor was so shocked at the photo he received that tears burst from eyes. The sight shocked Hawks into landing beside him and awkwardly consoling the number one hero with a pat on the back.
"What's wrong?"
"Wrong?!" his tears stop. "Nothing's wrong, it's good news! I'm a grandfather!" He states shoving the photo into hawks' vision.
"HA HA! That's amazing!"
"Shoto won't answer me back though, I have a feeling he wouldn't let me meet them if I asked."
"Why not just take a trip to the school to visit?"
-----
Shoto frowned at the sight of his father in the lounge, an equally deep frown staring back at him.
He was ready for his father to get angry and become violent at any moment, the air felt thick with the tension in the room.
"Where's my grandkids?" Endeavor asked after a few beats of silence.
"What?" he was shocked as no anger was radiating from the man in front of him .
Yume & Hikari peeked at the scene from the hallway and ran happily into the room at the sight of their grandfather. You had tried to chase after them, but it was of no use. You sent an apologetic smile Shoto's way knowing your boyfriend wanted to assess his reactions before allowing the girls to meet him.
"Grandpa!" The girls screamed jumping into his arms, as he shockingly held onto them his heart filling warm at the sight of the two girls.
"You know who I am?"
"Duh! We see you all the time!" Hikari replied sassily.
"Yeah! The last time we saw you we told you how we were gonna be big sisters." Yume giggled
"What?!" you choked out, surprised.
"Future you said we are going to have a baby brother soon!"
Endeavor cried happily with the girls in his arms as you struggled to breathe at the sudden information.
"You cried just like this too!" Hikari laughed happily.
Tenya Iida:
A six year old girl stood before them silently taking in her new surroundings.
Puzzled. At the sight of the girl, his nerves have calmed as he tried to understand the situation as it unraveled around them. The fact a young girl had greeted them instead of a villainous attack caused everyone to relax too quickly, he was hesitant to drop his guard completely. The thought of a villain deceiving them played out too well in his head to ignore the possibility.
The teachers visibly relaxed at the sight of the girl, they whispered amongst themselves quickly planning to address the situation. Tenya took another glance towards the girl , tears rolled down her cheeks while being comforted by All Might and Aizawa.
His eyes widened in recognition, while the deafening sound of his pounding heart echoed into his eardrums. He took in the girl's appearance, which became more familiar to him the more traits he saw. Tenya's mind raced through a million miles per minute, his body became stiff beside Izuku whose mumbled voice drifted farther away in his mind.
The girl's hair stopped just above her shoulders, the dark blue hue almost looked black in the light. Her eyes shined from the moisture of the tears, the unmistakable y/e/c irises reflected the worry she felt in the moment. The worry subsided when All Might reassured the girl who cried in his arms that she was not in trouble, and they were there to help her. Her relieved smile brightened up the room around her, identical to you. Your ear shape caught his eye as she tucked a strand of hair behind it, and before he had caught the most important detail Izuku ripped him from his thoughts.
Izuku's firm grip held his shoulders as he shook him slightly. He received a perplexed stare in return before he sighed in relief and released his shoulders.
Just as the girl's appearance pulled Tenya, Izuku had also noticed the unmistakable features.
"Iida, do you have a younger relative ?" he timidly asked, gesturing over to the girl's calves.
Tenya's gaze drifted back to the girl, the small engines barely noticeable on your calves. A quirk that ran throughout his family line for generations wasn't known to be seen in someone who wasn't directly related to the engine family.
"If I do, they haven't been introduced to the rest of the family."
Izuku's eyebrows furrowed in thought as Tenya's eyes searched for yours.
You and Momo had been talking about the sudden appearance of the girl, and how she reminded you of Iida. You paused in the middle of your sentence for a brief moment as you noticed his stare and happily sent a loving smile his way.
"From what I noticed the child has both y/n & I's traits, almost as if she is our love child." He whispered towards Izuku, assured that no-one else could hear the sensitive topic.
He turned towards you once again, his mind reeling from the thought's of a miracle love child formed between the two of you.
Flustered. The thoughts continued to plague his mind, the idea of a child, your child made his palms grow sweaty and the feeling of electricity shot through his joints. He pushed the thoughts aside for the moment, not expecting his dark blue eyes to directly meet smaller y/e/c eyes from across the room. The girl's eyes widened, her quirk taking effect with excitement as she ran towards instantly.
"Daddy!" The girl exclaimed when she had jumped into his arms, small hands clenched on to his shoulders.
Silence filled the air for a few seconds before the thunderous chaos ensued from the classmates.
"Someone as strait-laced as him is a teen father?!"
"They do say looks are deceiving."
"She does look almost exactly like him!"
The conversations swarmed his ears as he tried to answer the abundance of questions that were thrown at him. His throat felt constricted, the shock of the girl claiming him as her father rendering him speechless. Warmth spread through his face and down his neck, a deep shade of crimson taking hold while his pulse quickened beyond measure. The thought that he could very well faint raced through his mind as he tightened the hold around his daughter.
"HEY! SONIC KNOCKOFF! YOU GONNA EXPLAIN THIS SHIT?!" Bakugo roared with annoyance, ready to continue the matches.
Before he could respond to the explosive blonde, the girl in his arms turned to glare at the boy.
"You said a bad word! Are you even a hero? Hero's shouldn't say bad words, be better!" She scolded him with a stern expression.
During the chaos that ensued, you had made your way to him quickly finding your spot at his side. A reassuring hand reached out to grab his, as you rubbed comforting circles into the tense muscles.
"Everyone! Quiet!" Aizawa yelled with anger, his hair raising off his shoulders and eyes glowing blood red.
The girl in his arms stiffened at the sound and looked at her father with fear, he wordlessly rubbed her back in comfort. The once rowdy students followed the teachers order as everyone became stiff and looked at the pro hero.
"Classes are dismissed for the day as we investigate, return to the dormitories. Also, just to be clear. If you don't act accordingly and behave there will be consequences, understand Bakugo?" He glanced at the blonde who was frustrated at the fact the matches were now postponed.
A scoff angrily left the boy as the students dispersed from Ground Gamma and returned to the dormitories. Mina had eagerly walked over to the new found family, happily introducing herself to the young girl who was now walking in-between the couple clasping one of each parent.
"Hey sweetie! My name is Mina, what's yours?"
"Toshimi Iida." She replied happily.
Displeased. After returning to the dormitory, the tension and chaos from the unexpected child had settled. You introduced each of the classmates to Toshimi as she coaxed out information from her subtly. Laughter pulled his attention to where Izuku's fainted figure was on the floor and Ochaco's glowing crimson face as her stuttering increased. From what he gathered, when you lead the girl over to them Toshimi had joyfully addressed them as aunt and uncle. He watched as you kneeled towards the child and easily explained that she shouldn't reveal too much of the future to them in way the six year old would understand.
"I'm sorry." The girl apologized to the embarrassed couple with her head bowed.
"It's alright! Honestly!" Ochaco assured her face was still glowing with heat.
Everyone continued to gush over the girl, as she quickly made friends with your classmates. Tenya sat deep in thought on the couch, you gently placed your hands on his shoulders and squeezed them reassuringly. The attention was captivated by Toshimi as she explained the events leading up to her arrival in the past.
"My daddy took me to visit his agency, but a bad guy showed up! Obviously daddy captured him!" She said with pride before continuing.
"I saw a marble fall from the villain when he got captured, so I picked it up and was going to bring it to my dad when it broke in my hands." Tears started to roll her cheeks as she remembered her father screaming and running towards her with an outstretched hand.
Y/n walked over to the girl and pulled her into a comforting hug, rocking slightly to help ease the tears.
"You are safe now, everything will be okay." you stated as your gaze traveled to your boyfriend, knowing the story had upset him as well.
A displeased frown formed on his lips, knitted eyebrows and stern eyes greeted you.
"I should have been faster and rescued her."
Your lips pouted at the confession, mind blanking on what to say in order to ease the frustration growing within him.
"That's something for the future Iida to worry about, don't you think? Instead you should just focus on her now, keep her happy and safe the way you would want her to be." Tokoyami calmly stated, back leaning against the wall where he stood.
Since it was a villain's quirk or tool that had brought her here there was no way of knowing how or when she would return to the future with the limited knowledge about the quirk. Obsessing over details wouldn't help nor change anything.
"Tokoyami... You're absolutely right."
Your eyes locked with him again as they now shined in confidence, the sight warmed your body and brought tears to your eyes.
"Y/n if you start crying then Toshimi will cry again too." He exclaimed, startled at your tears.
Tenya watched as you wiped your eyes and a heartfelt laugh escaped you. His thoughts were still plagued with self displeasure, but he shook them away knowing everything would be okay with you by his side.
He will just need to remember to train even harder when he has kids he noted to himself.
Amazed. He watched you from across the room, the discussion about the time travel quirk happening around him falling on deaf ears. Todoroki placed a hand on his shoulder to draw him from his thoughts for a moment.
"You okay?" He simply questioned.
"Of course."
His eyes wandered back over to you, Toshimi practically attached to your hip while you and some of your classmates sat comfortably watching the Disney movie. Amazement settled on his features, even though a child was sprung into your life you hadn't faltered in your love for the girl. You effortlessly care for her in a way that could only come natural to you.
Singing along with her to the songs that blasted through the tv speakers. Grabbing Toshimi's hand and twirling her around the room, once 'I've got a dream' started playing earning her a big smile. When the girl's tiny hand absentmindedly reached into an empty bowl of popcorn, you swiftly switched the bowl with a full one you prepared in advance. Your nimble hands braided her hair effortlessly when she asked upon seeing Rapunzel's braid, you laughed lightly at the girl's excitement upon seeing your hard work.
You are amazing.
Tenya's thoughts were interrupted when a tiny hand tugged at him. Toshimi stood before him, cheerful eyes gazed at him while tugging at the hand she held in hers. His smile beamed down at her as he gripped her hand lightly.
Shoto's thoughts were interrupted when a cookie lightly touched his lips. You stood before him, Yume held in your arms as you both smiled happily at him. Yume's hand held out a cookie to his face eagerly, he gave her a bright smile in return and took a big bite of the cookie.
"Yes Toshimi?" he asked sweetly.
"Daddy, the important part is coming! Come watch it with us!" She beams.
His ears burned red with heat as his face quickly flushed at the request. His stunned eyes looked towards the coach where you sat, laughing silently as you watched him.
Tenya let his daughter lead him over to the coach where he sat beside you, the girl deciding to sit in his lap as you lean your head on his shoulder.
I could get used to this.
Overwhelmed. He had just chased her around outside in a game of tag, before finally catching the girl and pulling her into his arms. Her giggles echoed in the air as he twirled her in a circle before lowering her back down to the ground.
The girl tapped his leg, yelling a quick "you're it!" as she ran away from him once again. Her laughter reached his ears as he watched her run carefree around, swiveling around the trees.
"Woah! She has a lot of energy!" Izuku exclaimed breathlessly from behind him. Two hours of continuous running wore down his green haired friend.
The abundance of energy wasn't surprising to him, given she shared his engine quirk. He remembered how energetic he was at her age, often chasing his older brother Tensai around for hours. He pushed the thought away as he plunged into action again, not using his quirk in order for the girl to run happily as long as she wanted.
A few hours had passed and Tenya had only returned to the dormitory thirty minutes ago with his daughter in hand. However, the girl bounced on the balls of her feet before running around the building chasing down Kirishima and Tokoyami in a new game of tag.
He let out a tired sigh as he leaned back against the couch, his eyes closed from exhaustion. No matter how much energy he had as a kid, his daughter's endurance outmatched his by tenfold.
"She wore you out already?" you laughed, gentle hands reached out and fixed his tousled hair.
"The level of energy she possesses is overwhelming. Even when I was her age I would eventually get tired, but she just keeps going."
You sat beside him, a small smile formed on your lips at the thought of a young Tenya playing so much that he exhausted himself. A laugh escaped you , forcing his eyes open as he looked at you questioningly.
"I probably should have told you that when I was a kid I had so much energy I was practically bouncing off the walls. It might have stopped you from suggesting a game of tag." You laughed remembering how tired your parents often were in your younger years.
"It seems yours plus mine resulted in the world's most energetic future hero." He says happily, still reeling from the exhaustion that weighed on his body.
A crash from the floor above echoed to their ears, a grimace formed on both of your faces as you knew it had to involve your daughter. He stood quickly ignoring his already sore muscles as he made his way towards the sound.
"We should probably enlist Hagakure's help. if she places hide and seek with her it will eventually wear her out." You explained to him.
He looked at you as a laugh escaped him, before he reached over and pulled you into a hug. You had so simply come up with a solution that had left him feeling powerless. He couldn't have chosen a more perfect person to have a family with.
Thankful. After two days passed since Toshimi's appearance, the three of you were settled into a routine. He would wake her up and pass her along to you while he prepared breakfast. You would cook dinner while he entertained her with board games. You would tuck her into bed at night while he read her to sleep.
A sudden frown replaced the smile that graced her face a moment before. Tenya stiffened at the sight, quickly trying to piece together the cause for the sudden change.
"What's wrong princess?" he asked delicately, patting her head.
You shifted near the bed with your knees on the floor, laying a comforting hand over your daughters.
"I miss home, and my friends and Takashi."
"Takashi?" Tenya questioned.
"Big brother." She pouted.
Guilt ran through him, his thoughts from the other day rushing back into his mind. He inwardly cursed his future-self for not paying enough attention to her at that moment, for not being fast enough to rescue her.
You noticed the conflicted feelings wash over your boyfriend's face, as your eyes drifted back towards your daughter a pout still settled on her lips. You hummed in thought before finding the right words to comfort the little girl.
"Toshimi, who do you think the best hero is?" you hummed.
"Daddy!"
"Exactly! And the best hero is definitely going to bring you back home. There's no need to worry, okay? I promise everything will be just fine."
You pressed your lips to her temple for a goodnight kiss, your hand squeezed her gently to reassure her. When you had pulled back from your daughter you noticed that Tenya's face had relaxed at your words as well, and you happily leaned over to him and placed a kiss on his cheek.
The girl's eyes closed as she quickly drifted off to sleep, leaving her parents in the silence of the room. His gaze never left yours , wordlessly stunned by how you handled the situation better than he could have.
"You really believe in me that much?" his eyes softened as a small blush formed on his cheeks.
"Of course I do."
"I'm so thankful to have you with me y/n."
He leaned down to place a gentle kiss on your soft lips, making your heart beat faster and you breathe catch in your throat. The kiss was warm and loving, filled with every ounce of affection he held for you , showing just truly thankful he was to be by your side. He left you breathless and wanting more when he pulled away.
Satisfied. That night you camped on the floor of his room, letting your daughter keep the bed to herself. You were both settled in the sleeping bags, your eyelids grow heavy as you started to drift off to sleep. He watched your sleeping figure and felt himself relax at the sight.
Tenya finally let his tired eyes close as he drifted off into the darkness of the night, only to be awoken a few moments later to the dim light as a pink fog formed around his daughter. He sleepily watched as the fog expanded and thickened in density, the figure of the girl became harder to see and he could just barely make out the lines of a taller figure standing above the bed and holding the girl to his chest.
The image disappeared in a flash as the pink fog deepened and then receded quickly, an empty bed left in its place. He couldn't help but smile at the thought that his daughter was now safely back home and that she would wake up to her parents in the morning. The smile deepened when he thought about the figure that had appeared in the fog, knowing that it must have been his future-self.
His heart filled with joy as his eyes closed once again letting the darkness take over his mind as he drifted off to sleep, finally at peace.
----
"Tenya! Tenya!"
"Wake up!"
"Tenya!"
You desperately shook his shoulder , anxiety laced in your voice as you called out to him in his dreams.
When you had awoken to the morning light shining on your face and not to his gentle deep morning voice like before , you were confused. Then the sight of an empty bed where your daughter had been caused your heart to sink, you quickly jumped out of your sleeping bag and looked around the room for her.
The search had been fruitless, and as you now kneeled by Tenya's sleeping figure forcing him awake with your worry. His eyebrows furrowed together as sleepy eyes opened to greet you.
"Y/N?" his deep morning voice still thick with sleep questioned.
"She's not in bed, we have to go find her!" your mind raced as thousands thoughts swirled around your head.
"What if she ran away because of how upset she was last night?"
"Y/N-"
"How did the door opening not wake us up? I'm a light sleeper!" you interrupted him.
His heavy laugh filled the air and brought you out of your anxiety filled rambles. You watched as he put his glasses back on and he blinked away the remaining feelings of sleep that was holding onto him.
"I hate to break it to you, but you are definitely not a light sleeper by any means y/n." He laughed happily to himself.
"Is that really important right now?" You huffed out with a pink dust forming on your cheeks.
"She's back home."
your eyes widened and eyebrows rose in a questioning shock, your mind processing the information as you tried to ask him questions but you couldn't get the words to form. He noticed your shocked expression and how your mind must have been reeling from the sudden transition.
"After you went to sleep last night, the fog reappeared and took her back home. She's safe and probably woken up by now thinking the last few days were nothing but a bad dream." He explained.
You sighed in relief as the two of you shared a loving hug, the morning light still shining through the small slit in the curtains framing both of your figures. He looked at you in awe, before placing a tender kiss on your forehead.
"I love you y/n."

。・:*˚:✧。 Bonus Scene:
You walked towards Tenya's room noticing Toshimi's laugh echoing out into the hallway, the crack in the doorway allowed for you to peek through slightly.
Toshimi continued to giggle as she desperately tried to place the facemask on Tenya's face with her tiny hands. Tenya's glasses were off his face and his hair was pulled back by a fuzzy cat headband, a soft smile plastered on his face making the corners of his eyes crinkle. The pure affection that glowed in his eyes caused your body to still at the sight, the heat coursing through your body traveled to your fingertips engulfing them in a pink hue. You pushed away the oughts as you swung open the door , making your presence known.
He jerked his head in the direction of the noise, dark blue eyes meeting your y/e/c ones. Hair still pulled from his face, a slight shine covering his facial features from where your daughter had tried to attach the face mask. You eyed the products on the desk and in your daughter's hands as she excitingly picked what she was going to try next.
"I thought I was missing some selfcare products! so this is where they ran off to?!" You teased.
"I'm sorry! I just wanted to give daddy a makeover!" She giggled.
"Well in that case, can I help?"
"Yes!"
She all but dragged you over to her workstation in the form of Tenya's desk and started to place items in your hands as she explained what she was going to do next to the man in the seat. He listened intently to her words with soft eyes and a loving smile that made your heart flutter the more you looked upon it.
"Daddy, after the makeover you're going to be the most handsome hero." Toshimi boasted about her skills.
"I think daddy already is sweetie, but we can make him even more handsome."
Tenya tensed in his seat , the blistering heat radiating from his cheeks at the words. He shyly massaged the back of his neck with closed eyes as he tried to repress the growing blush. You two were going to send him into cardiac arrest one of these days.
Hitoshi Shinsou:
A five year old girl stood before them, tears rolling down her round cheeks as she cried.
Surprised. At the sight of the girls, everyone's nerves calmed down as they tried to understand the situation. Hitoshi took another glance towards the girl that was now being comforted by All Might and Aizawa.
His heart pounded against his ribcage as he took in their appearance, which has become more familiar to him the more traits he saw. The conversations and noise happening around him faded as he was frozen in shock at the sight.
The girls hair was a light indigo color, with bright y/e/c eyes the irises white just like his. Her nose scrunched up cutely as she to calmed down, just like yours. The smile that lit up her face as All Might transformed into his hero form originally belonged to you, and the way she excitedly squealed was a picture perfect copy of yours.
Izuku was just as quick at piecing together the traits.
"Shinsou, you don't have younger siblings do you?" he timidly asked.
Hitoshi was still too surprised to answer coherently. Instead he had shook his head 'no' before he glanced your way, Izuku's eyes following suit.
You and Ochaco had been gushing over the girl's cuteness, you paused for a brief moment as you noticed his stare and waved happily.
"Those girls look exactly like what I imagine y/n & I's would." He whispered under his breath, Izuku being the only one who could hear.
Hitoshi still had his eyes trained on you, his mind reeling from the conclusion it had jumped to.
Panicked. There was a resounding silence that echoed as a joyful squeal filled the air. The girl had managed to see you among the students, and ran as she happily squealed. Your arms had opened as if on instinct, and the small girl jumped into your arms with her face now buried into your shoulder.
"Do you know this girl y/n?" Tsu questioned, her face eyebrows furrowed in thought.
You shook your head 'no' silently in surprise, while offering comforting pats along the small girl's back.
"Daddy!" The girl screamed again, looking towards Hitoshi from her place on your shoulder.
The girl in your arms stirred as she struggled to get out of your grip, you slowly let her down towards the ground being careful that she wouldn't fall. Once her feet hit the ground she ran towards him with outstretched hands, excitement bubbled on her face as she took in the sight of him.
His cheeks burned with red heat, the train of thought completely stopped as his eyes glanced from the child to you. Even though he had assumptions, The title of "daddy." had caught him off guard and he was slow to recover.
"Daddy?" The girl whimpered, eyes watering.
The shrill of panic waved through him once more, his hands becoming sweaty in his pockets from the heat his body was producing. The tips of his ears and neck now matched his bright crimson face as he leaned down and picked the girl up in his arms.
"Shinsou and y/n have a kid!?!?" Kaminari bellowed loudly.
Chaos erupted as Hitoshi walked over to you with hasty steps, making sure to keep a steady grip on his daughter. Your eyes were wide as he stood next beside you , mentally trying to process now having a daughter out of thin air.
Your mind swirled for answers, but you couldn't help the deep blush that took over your face as Hitoshi's free hand held yours.
Intrigued. Y/N had decided to go back with him to his dorm instead of the class 1-A dorm, deciding separating wouldn't be good for the girl now in your care. After comforting the girl at the dormitory, y/n was able to coax out bits and pieces of information from her. Your subtle questions being simple and easy for the five year old to understand. His amazement at your ability to be calm and collected in this situation made him Intrigued, he hadn't been able to utter a single word since his brain short-circuited with the simple title acquirement of 'daddy'.
"My name is Nozomi!" the girl happily introduced herself to the students.
"How cute!"
Everyone gushed over the girl, as she quickly made friends with his classmates. Hitoshi sat on the couch next to you, gently placed your hand on his own. Both sets of eyes watched on as Nozomi danced along the room playing with the classmates she met.
"Nozomi said a villain hit her with his quirk while she was watching us fight." you stated while you gave his hand a quick squeeze.
"Time travel is such a strong quirk, and to think a villain had it and used it on our daughter is worrying." His eyebrows furrowed at the thought.
Since it was a villain who brought her here there was no way of knowing if and when they would return to the right timeline, or what their goals were in doing this in the first place. Thoughts about how this could affect the future weighed down on his shoulders and he grimaced at the lack of information they possessed.
"I know it's sudden, but I think we could be good parents while she is here, don't you think so too?"
Your eyes locked with his in confidence and at the mere sight of it, a soft smile formed on his lips.
"Well of course, she is our daughter."
Hitoshi watched as a wide smile grew on your lips and a gentle laugh escaped you. His thoughts were still plagued with questions that desperately wanted answers, but he knew with you by his side everything would work itself out.
He wanted to enjoy every moment he spent with you and his daughter, while the three of you played house in his dorm.
Loved. He watched you from afar, his classmates rambling about how the time travel quirk could work brought him out of his thoughts as he tried to pay attention.
His eyes wandered back over to you, Nozomi practically attached to your hip as you flawlessly moved around the kitchen. Amazement settled on his features, even when Nozomi had gotten in your way or had tried to open the stove on her own, you handled it effortlessly like a dance.
Glided around the Nozomi to grab ingredients. Grabbed the girl's hand and twirled her in another direction. She asked to lick the cookie dough off the spoon, you swiftly complied with a laugh. Tiny hands tried to reach for the newly baked cookies without you looking, you lightly tapped them away with your fingers and a smile.
How are you so amazing?
Hitoshi's thoughts were interrupted when a cookie lightly touched his lips. You stood before him, Nozomi held in your arms as you both smiled happily at him. Nozomi's hand held out a cookie to his face eagerly, he gave her a bright smile in return and took a big bite of the cookie.
"My Love, tell him what you just told me." you laugh.
Nozomi beamed. "Daddy gets the first one!"
He coughed viciously as he almost choked on the treat. The two of you had laughed at his response.
Lonely. That night after Aizawa had left with Eri, a faint pink mist started to form around the girls. You drew Hitoshi's attention to the growing mist as your hand clasped around his.
His heart sank at their figure's being overtaken as the mist turned to a thick fog. He could no longer see their features and he desperately wanted to reach out and yank them into his arms. Hitoshi's arm rose slightly, face etched in sadness when you stopped him.
"I didn't get to say goodbye." Sorrow filled his eyes as the fog faded, the girl no longer hiding within it.
"The future you is greeting her right now."
Silence settled between you as you embraced him in a hug, tightly holding on to him in hopes you could ease the loss.
"I thought when they went home I would be relieved that she had returned safely, but I already miss having her around."
He held onto you tightly, burying his face in your shoulder.
Eager. The rest of that night was filled with you cuddling your boyfriend in his dorm, comforting him despite the sudden arrival and loss of his daughter. His arms wrapped lazily around you in his sleep as the morning sun shined brightly through his balcony doors.
"Good Morning, how are you feeling?" you questioned, eyebrows furrowed in worry.
He smirked, placing a finger in between your eyebrows.
"Better."
"Yeah?" you were still worried about him.
"If you want to make me feel even better than I do right now, you can agree to having Nozomi right after we graduate high school."
"We'll think about that after you graduate into the hero program." You tease.
"With that kind of motivation how could I lose?" He laughed nuzzling into your neck.

。・:*˚:✧。 Bonus Scene:
He woke up to the feeling of an empty bed as he reached out his hand searching for his daughter and you. His tired eyes slowly opened, drifting lazily over the dark room looking for the missing figures only to meet with emptiness, his eyes darted toward the clock to see 1:52 reflected brightly on the digital screen.
He got out of bed and went looking for the bodies missing from his bed, tired feet carrying him towards the kitchen where he heard slight movement in the middle of the night.
His body stopped suddenly when he took in the image in front of him , you and Nozomi were dancing in your pajamas in the middle of the kitchen. The air pods split up between the two of you as you both trailed happily around in the stove's glow as it was the only light brightening up the kitchen ground. He watched amused, careful not to make a sound as he leaned against the wall, crossing his arms with a smug expression taking over his face.
Your dancing continued for a few more moments before you suddenly turned his way, eyes instantly catching the figure standing in the darkness as shock washed over your face. Your sudden stop made your daughter stop as well as she looked in the direction your eyes were gazing towards before a blush crept onto her face at the sight of her father.
Hitoshi and you stared at each other in silence and disbelief for a few moments as you thought about what to say to your boyfriend when the oven timer beeps interrupting your thoughts.
"We got hungry and made late night brownies." You say shyly.
"Would you like some?"
"Only if you two promise the next time you decide to have a dance party In the kitchen you invite me to." He smirks happily as he makes his way closer to you.
Tamaki Amajiki:
A seven year old girl stood before them with confusion written on her face as she took in her surroundings.
Anxious. The unsettling feeling of anxiety racked over his body as he heard the principal's voice call his name along with yours on the speaker system, directing the two of you to head towards Ground Gamma. His hand shook as he walked next to you in the hallway, as far as he knew there were no exercises that they had been made aware of and were assisting in. So why are they suddenly calling just the two of you out there?
You clasped his hand in yours as you two walked side by side, a slight blush formed on his cheeks before quickly receding due to his anxious thoughts. You took in the sight of his knitted eyebrows and creased forehead as you glanced from the side, his anxiety gnawing on your emotions as you felt the need to reassure him.
"Takami, I don't think it's anything to worry about. Just remember I'm here for you okay?"
"Thank you Y/N, I'm sorry I get nervous so easily."
"Don't be, we are a couple and couples rely on each other when they need comfort so that's not something you need to say sorry for." you reassured him before you both continued on your way.
The cold winter air bristled your skin as you walked towards Ground Gamma. You sniffled as another sharp breeze wrapped around your body, Tamaki's hand releasing from yours suddenly as you shivered from the loss of heat. The thick U.A blazer was placed firmly on your shoulders, you blinked and glanced over to the boy at your side who now only stood in his short sleeve uniform shirt. He gave a shy half-smile before extending his hand out to you once more, which you took happily relishing in the warmth that radiated off his skin.
The appearance of the erasure hero came into view as they got closer to their destination. Briskly walking the last few steps to meet the teacher in front of them, Aizawa's stern tired eyes met theirs as they faintly heard the sounds of the year one students fighting against each other.
"Aizawa sensei, did you need our help with another exercise?" You questioned.
He stayed silent for a moment pondering on his answer before simply stating "No."
"Then sir , why are we here?"Tamaki asked with confusion written clearly on his face.
The teacher observed the two for a moment before releasing a long sigh and jutting his head in the direction behind him. His gaze was drawn to a young girl sitting in All Might's lap as she happily listened to him tell her stories. Her long indigo hair reached just below her waist, her delicate finger moving a few strands behind her elfish-like ears. The bright y/e/c eyes shined with amazement at something she just heard from the retired number one hero.
The similarities shook him to his core, she crinkled by the child's as she smiled were exactly the same as yours. The nose he had gotten so used to see on your face now rested on the girl in question, and her bubbly laughter made his stomach sink because the only person he ever heard with laughter as sweet and honeyed as that was from your lips.
"She appeared while we were setting up for the next round of class matches, after asking her some questions we were able to briefly understand what was going on." Aizawa started to explain to them.
"I don't understand-" You started.
"Is that girl-? Is she-? She looks like our future love child."Tamaki stutters out, interrupting you.
Your eyes widened at the statement glancing over at Aizawa to see him nod his head in confirmation of the claim. You looked over to the girl once more taking in her features as you start to notice the remarkable similarity she has to the two of you that you hadn't taken into account beforehand.
"She introduced herself as Meiko Amajiki, the daughter of Suneater and y/h/n. Would you like to meet her?"
Tamaki nervously shakes his head in reply as his hand reaches out for yours once more. You accept it graciously and your thumb rubs circles into the back of his hand to calm him and yourself as the three make their way to the child.
Flustered. The tension crackled in the air like electricity the closer he got to the girl happily playing in All Might's lap. His footsteps echoed into his ears as he walked on the pavement, panicked eyes plastered to his shoes not willing himself to look up as thoughts overwhelmed his mind. A love child from the future suddenly dropped into their lives, would he even be able to take care of her the same way his future-self would? Would she cry when she saw him ? He's never been that great at babysitting.
The singsong voice resounded caused him to tense as she called out and rejoiced in the excitement at seeing the younger form of her parents. Her wide sparkling eyes met his as she looked up from his feet in shock at the child running towards him, arms wide open ready to jump into his arms at any moment.
"Daddy!" The girl cheered as he tightly wrapped his arms around her when she jumped at his figure.
The dazzling smile she praised lit up his world like sunlight, he turned crimson in awe of the brightness that engulfed him from the girl in his arms. He never experienced something quite as beautiful and warm as the feeling of love he felt from his future daughter, it made him in freeze place not knowing what to do next in the situation.
"Daddy?" The girl questioned upon seeing his tensed reactions.
You took over the situation with ease. You directed the girl's attention towards you, noticing that Tamaki was lost in thought as the blistering crept to the points of his ears and down his neck. You waved your hand in greeting, a wide smile placed on your lips as you spoke.
"Hi Meiko! We are so excited to see you!"
"But daddy isn't talking.."
"Daddy is just so amazed at how beautiful you are that it shocked him for a moment sweetheart."
"Oh! Like when he sees you walk down the stairs on date night?!" The girl questioned happily as you choked on air.
"That's right!"
Her laughter filled your ears as Tamaki looked between you two in awe, eyes brimming with tears at the sudden family. The acquired role of a father being placed on his shoulders, his face still blistered from the heat rushing throughout his body not yet used to being addressed as daddy.
Tamaki wordlessly brushed his hand through the soft tresses of his daughter's hair, looping strands around his fingers as he played with it. Contemplating how such a beautiful child could be the by-product of anything he created in the world , but then remembering you was obviously the reason for why your daughter had grown into such a lovely child.
"Meiko, I'm really happy to meet you." He said softly , his eyes lowering in bliss.
Meiko bubbled with giggles as she wrapped her tiny arms around his neck and engulfed him in a tight hug. The conversation is still going on between you and Meiko as she released herself from the sudden hug and looked back to you with sparkling eyes , voice animated as she rambled about her new favorite tv show.
"Amajiki , we are going to let the two of you look after her while she's here. She'll be more comfortable around people she knows rather than strangers, while we continue looking into how to return her home." Aizawa explained with a tired expression.
"I'll take care of her!" Tamaki confidently confirmed shocking you beside him.
Tamaki's confidence suffered greatly on a day to day basis ,but when it mattered he was able to completely shut off the negative thoughts that plagued his mind and become the bright hero you have come accustomed to seeing on missions. A soft smile formed on your lips as you took onto the sight of your boyfriend holding your daughter in his arms with a stern look of resolve washed over his features.
"In that case, Meiko, are you ready to go to the dormitory with us?" You asked brightly.
"Yes Please!"
She worked her way out of Tamaki's strong hold on her as she jumped down from his arms , he looked distraught from the sudden loss of holding his daughter in his arms while his hands shook slightly.
Meiko reached out both her hands to grab onto each of her parents, adjusting herself in the middle of the couple as she prepared herself for the walk to the dormitory. When the couple didn't admittedly start walking to their destination, she gazed up with a questioning look at her parents. Tamaki's face returned to the crimson hue as the blush crept back on to his features at the girl's actions, the thought didn't escape him that they really looked like a family like this each holding one of her hands as they walked happily.
His happy family.
Fascinated. After returning to the dormitory, y/n was able to gather more information out of the girl. The subtle way of getting to know your future daughter without putting pressure on her amazed him as he watched from the sidelines. He took note of the things the girl mentioned she liked and what she disliked as they talked as well as the expressions she would make that reminded him so much of yours whenever he would see you get excited about a particular topic.
"Meiko, how did you end up getting here anyways?" Tamaki asked cautiously.
The bubbly girl stopped for a moment deep in thought over the question she was asked, her hands clapped together as she started to explain the story to the both of them.
"I was visiting the park with uncle Mirio, and when I was playing with a kid her quirk suddenly activated. The next thing I knew I was here and even got to meet All Might!" She giggled happily.
You gasped at the realization another child was the reason for her traveling to this time. Since it was a child who brought her here, there was no way of knowing if and when she would return to the right timeline. A moment of worry rushed through your features as you tried to conceal it from the child who made her way over to Tamaki to sit in his lap rather than in her own spot on the coach.
The third year classmates gushed at the overwhelming cuteness your daughter possessed as she waved at the students with a bright smile each time she caught eyes with a new person in the lounge. Tamaki's face lowered as flustered with his bangs from the immense stares being thrown his way at the attention his cute daughter was attracting.
"Uncle Mirio, that means me right?!" The eccentric blonde laughed, his blue eyes shining at the girl.
"Uncle!" The girl gleamed, jumping from her spot on Tamaki lap.
The pair happily jumped in excitement at meeting each other as he took Meiko in his arms and twirled her around the room happily introducing his niece to all of the classmates. Tamaki watched in wonder at the two forces of light that filled any room they walked into with joy. She looked so much like him but at the same time she acted nothing like him. The fact fascinated him as he continued to watch from afar from his seat beside you, clutching your hand in his ass he lowered his head to rest on your shoulder shielding his face from the curious onlookers.
"She's so bright, like you and Mirio combined." He mumbles under his breath barely audible to where only you could hear.
You stilled beneath him at the words wishing you could see the emotions on his face in order to gauge how he was feeling in the moment.
"Really? From what I see she shines more like you, a dazzling moonlight that lights up the dark nights."
You knew he would think you were just saying that in order to make him feel better, but as you looked at your daughter playing with Mirio from a distance the only thing you saw was the same bright light that Tamaki would have when ever he would be around his best friend. If Mirio was the the sun to Tamaki , then he was most defiantly the moon to you.
"Thank you." He hummed into your shoulder the vibrations sending chills down your spine.
"Do you really think she shines like me ?" He asks the thoughts eating at him once he thinks a bit to long on your words.
"Of course, the spitting image of you when you are fighting crime or happily laughing with Mirio."
"I want her to be more confident than I am."
"I don't think you have to worry about that." you laugh lightheartedly.
"I hope she stays that bright forever."
"She will."
Tamaki moves slightly to where he can look into your eyes, a deep blush formed on his cheeks as his eyes deepened with affection as he took in your features. It wasn't just his daughter that fascinated him, but you as well. The way your words always managed to settle his heart and ease his mind when he was panicked, the way your smile would cause his form even if he was having a bad day , or the way your laughter would cause his heart to quicken and his face to flush just from hearing it.
He timidly leaned into you as he placed a soft kiss to your lips, drinking in the way the felt against his. The sweet taste rewarded him as he licked his tongue over lips when you parted them in shock. An audible gasp drew his attention away from you to the room still full of his classmates as his body turned crimson his eyes darted to the floor in shame.
"Y/N I'm sorry, -" He started while stuttering out the words.
"That was amazing." You interrupted him hoping to raise his self esteem and assure him that you did not mind the sideshow of public affection.
He stiffly walked towards a wall placing his head against it while he tried to calm his blistering body from the thought that people had witnessed him kiss you so openly. His fingertips felt hot against his face as she covered his face with his hands, trying to block out the mental pictures of shock written on his classmates faces.
Enchanted. He watched you from afar, Mirio's laughter bringing him out of his thoughts briefly as he made eye contact with his blonde best friend once more. A soft smile overtaking his lips as he listened to the story was explaining to Neijire and him, before his gaze drifted ever so slightly back to you.
Meiko was sitting on your lap as you both drew pictures together happily, the crayons around and markers scattered around the table you were at. Every so often the child's tiny hands would stop moving and she would pick up the paper to show you waiting for praise on her latest work of art. Your sweet laughter enchanted him as you would pat her head in gently and look in awe at what the girl had shown you.
You were so effortlessly caring for a child that had been thrusted into your life. The parenting came to you easily as you played and took care of the girl in your arms, where he would still become flustered and have trouble speaking whenever the girl called him daddy or attracted too much attention his way from his classmates. You were enchanting to him, the way you were able to so care-freely smile with Meiko as if everything in the world was normal and she wasn't brought here out of the blue.
You are amazing.
Tamaki's thoughts were interrupted when a piece of paper constricted his view of you. Meiko stood before him, hands outstretched towards him holding a drawing she just completed. The bright smile still adorning her lips as her sparkling eyes met his, he took the art carefully in his hands to adjust his eyes to the paper. He saw the figures of a happy family of three outside a house, all smiling happily as he took note of their characteristics resembling the three of them. A soft smile was brought to his lips as he reached down to hug his daughter and bring her onto his lap.
"You are an amazing artist." He said gently, patting her head.
Meiko beamed. "I made that one special, just for you daddy!"
His heart hammered against his chest as he took in the bright smile the girl was rewarding him, faintly heating the laughter from Mirio and Neijire at his side from his reaction.
Determined. After two days had passed since Meiko appeared, he had realized how much the girl loved to have tea parties. Often dragging you and him to your imaginary set up in the lounge area, when you suggested the idea of having a real tea party to the girl she was ecstatic and therefore Tamaki was now walking with the girl at his side as he entered Fatgum's agency.
She carried the self decorated invitations she created in her hands as they walked hand in hand. Her bubbly smile caught the attention of his coworkers as they passed by, his gaze lowering to the ground as they walked further into the building.
Fatgum greeted them happily as they entered his office, slightly shocked by the child accompanying his protégée especially since she looked so similar to Tamaki.
"Hello Suneater, who is this cutie following you around today?"
"This is Meiko, y/n and I'd future love child that got sent back in time." Tamaki nervously explained , his hand rubbing the back of his neck.
The pro hero stiffened in his seat at the news, shock temporarily taking over his features before he pushed it away replacing it with a bright smile he directed towards the young girl in the room.
"Well hello there Meiko, what brings you here today?" he asks excitedly, eyeing the invitations in her hands.
"I'm inviting you to a tea party! There's invitations for daddy's friends Kiri and Tetsu to!" She bubbled before running up to him and placing the invitations in his hand.
"It's a bit last minute, the tea party is for later today . I was hoping you could bring them along with you after paroling." Tamaki apologized sheepishly.
"Oh woah! Of course I'll be there and I'll make sure to bring them along. How could we miss such a cute girl's tea party?" He stated, happily while ruffling the girl's hair with his hands.
He watched as Fatgum picked up his daughter and carried her around his building introducing her to the staff, happily rejoicing in the fact that Tamaki had a bright future ahead of him with a happy family waiting for him. He received endless praises for his daughter's cuteness as they gushed about her bubbly personality, his face turned crimson as he tried to fight the feeling of walking out of the building before his daughter was done playing with his mentor.
One thought played over in his head as he watched the girl beam as Fatgum lifted her up on his shoulder.
I want to make this the best tea party she's ever had.
Determination filled his bones as he pulled out his phone, searching for your contact number before sending you ideas to add to the preparations.
"Daddy, Fatgum said there's a cookie shop nearby. Can we stop there on the way home?" You sing out while looking up at him with wide eyes.
"Of course sweetheart, anything your heart desires." He said sweetly as he brushed a stray strand of hair out of her face and back behind her ear.
She started to drag him out of the building as he waved goodbye to Fatgum and his coworkers, they looked on at the sight with happiness at how much the girl was bringing Tamaki out of his shell.
"We should bring some for y/n too, I wonder what flavor they would like though." Tamaki thought out loud hands till being held by his daughter as they walked on the sidewalk.
"Oh! I know that one! It's mint chocolate chip, they told Aunt Neijire one time it's her favorite because your breath always smells like mint!" The girl happily confessed what she had overheard in the future.
Tamaki's body went numb as his body temperature rose at an alarming rate. The fingers that held onto the girls hand burned crimson as she looked up at him in curiosity, the pair stopped in the middle of the sidewalk as people passed by them. His face was covered by his bangs as he gazed down towards his shoes, eyes wide in shock at the confession he was never supposed to hear.
He mentally took a note to always keep an extra stock of mints in case he ever ran out.
Heartbroken. That Night as the two of you were cleaning up the party supplies while Meiko was happily running around the lounge with Mirio, a shocked gasp drew your attention from picking up trash to the pink mist forming around your daughter. You took Tamaki's hand in your as you lead him close to the girl watching her figure get swallowed by the growing fog.
His heart sank to his stomach as he watched the growing fog become thick to where he couldn't make out her features, anxiety grew in him as he wrestled with the idea of rushing into the fog and pulling her back out in order to spend a few more days with her. Tears fell down his cheeks as he curled an arm around your waist and placed his face in your shoulder, his heart breaking at the sight of his daughter leaving so suddenly bringing him to cry on your shoulder.
"I don't want her to leave" Sorrow laced his voice as it shook into your neck.
"Just think about how much future you have been missing her the last few days and how happy he will be seeing her again." You said softly rubbing his back to calm his tears.
The light from the pink fog dissipated as the fog faded and the indigo haired girl no longer stood before them.
Silence filled the room as Mirio looked at you with sadness , not knowing what to do in order to comfort his friend at this moment. You smile softly in return and grab Tamaki's hand leading him to your room for the night.
When you reached your room, you kept the lights off only allowing the curtains to open slightly to fill the room with dim moonlight as you pulled him to your bed. He refused to look you in the eye as he sat on the bed motionless, you hurriedly changed into pajamas in your closet not wanting to take too long in order to comfort your boyfriend who was reeling with the loss of his future daughter.
"Tamaki" You started to get shy as you sat on the bed next to him. "Cuddle with me tonight?"
His hands urgently reached for you, holding you tightly in his embrace and he let the tears fall freely down his cheeks once more. You caressed your fingers through his indigo strands as you let him feel his emotions openly within the comfort of your arms.
Confident. The rest of that night was filled with tears and needy cuddles , as he refused to let go of your figure, half afraid you would disappear as well he didn't keep a firm hold on you. His tears finally stopped as he fell into a deep peaceful sleep, while you brushed away the remaining wet tears that rolled down his eyes.
The sunlight filled the room through the opening in the curtain as your eyes adjusted to the morning light, blinking away the sleep that had taken over you.
You look down to Tamaki's face that was nestled on your chest as his arms were wrapped securely around you in a tight embrace. His face was peaceful as he continued to sleep through the morning hours. You gently brushed some hair out of his eyes and behind his ear as he flinched at the movement , eyes slowly opening to take in your figure beneath him highlighted by the sunlight of the room.
"Good morning Tamaki, how are you feeling?" You gently questioned while running your hands through his tousled sleep hair.
"My heart still feels empty knowing she's no longer here, but I had a dream about our family last night."
"Oh yeah, what happened in the dream?"
"We were happy, hugging her and playing with her as she ran around the backyard of our house. We had a dog that she would chase around and when she got tired of being out in the sun she would jump into my arms and have me carry her inside." " She said happily, sighing at the memory.
"That sounds like a beautiful dream."
Tamaki laid with his head still resting on your chest as he listened to your heartbeat racing beneath him as the thought about the last few days .
"I think I'm going to be a good father in the future." He says with confidence gaining in his voice.
"I know you are going to be a good father."
He takes in a breath before slowly exhaling and looking up to make eye contact with your eyes. "There were a few empty rooms in the house I dreamed of."
"were there?" you teased with a smirk forming on your lips.
"We should give her some siblings in the future."

。・:*˚:✧。 Bonus Scene:
Meiko happily welcomed her guests into the cutely decorated area where her tea party was taking place. Knowing how excited she was to host this, Takami and you went all out on the decorations in order to assure your daughter's smiling face.
The miniature pink tea set, plates already set out around the table, linens neatly folded and pastries prepared in advance and set out aesthetically on a three tiered tray. The teapot filled with water, so the guests could actually sip their cups instead of pretending to, which had been an idea you slipped to Takami as you two were setting up.
Fatgum, Kirishima and Testutestu eagerly walked into the room, Fatgum being dragged by Meiko's tiny hands as she led him to the seat she declared as his. Nejire and Mirio strolled in happily behind the group, Eri being held in his arms as she looked around the table amazed.
"I've never been to a tea party before." Eri whispered hiding behind Mirio when he placed her down.
"That's okay! The only thing you need to do is have fun and make friends!" Meiko cheered, taking the girl's hand in hers and leading her over to the seat next to hers.
"See and and now your friends with me!" your daughter exclaimed with a bright smile.
Eri's timid expression was replaced by an equally bright smile as the girl's laughter filled the room.
The afternoon was filled with joy as the tea party carried on effortlessly. Tamaki was shyly fed sweets by Meiko every now and then which would cause his face to burn with heat, Mirio would laugh at the sight and prompt Eri to do the same. Fatgum would tell funny stories he acquired over the years , as Kirishima eagerly accepted the offering of refills.
Meiko's happiness lit up the room as if she was the sun herself, she eagerly nodded her head and laughed when Kirishima and Tetsutetsu offered to arm wrestle in order to show was the strongest. Takami watched from his seat beside you, the sight of his daughter so happily playing with all the people closest in his life made his heart throb in his chest.
"You okay Takami?" You questioned when you noticed his far off gaze.
"I'm better than okay. I'm the luckiest father in the world to have such a beautiful family to call my own."
You took in a sharp breath as you covered your face with your hands, hiding the evident blush that formed at the unexpected statement. The blistering heat warmed your hands as the blush rushed to your ears and neck the more you thought of his words.
"Y/N? What happened over there?" Kirishima questioned after he was declared winner of the wrestling match, bringing everyone's attention to you.
The blush instantly turned to a crimson color and you lowered your hands to see the gazes of everyone around the table.

⋆ ★ A/N: This took me so much longer than I originally thought it would!
For my next requests that has multiple characters I'm probably going to shorten my writing in order to make it easier for me to fulfill meeting my requests in timely manner.
I did end up reusing the prompt I used for Shoto with Hitoshi just because I could no longer look at my screen anymore.
I'm also thinking of writing a part two with Bakugo , Kirishima , Monoma and Mirio. Let me know if you would like me to post that eventually.
