Here's the third comic in the Open World AU. I decided it would be more interesting if the cast also had some limited ability to conjure and worldcraft, so I wanted to explore that. This comic is both the longest I've done yet and is the most involved painting-wise. I hope it was worth the wait!

My personal pet project of a Regional Form Dragonite! (Dragon/Water?) ((Please do not tag as a Redesign! This is not a redesign. There was no intention of redesigning Dragonite))

I've made alternate Dragonair evolutions before, solely out of love for Dragonair as a standalone design and not because I feel hatred towards regular Dragonite. I think regular Dragonite is awesome and this form is not a replacement. You can tell because it's silver to the original gold!

The lore is that while Kantonian Dragonite are super hardy, excellent migration Pokemon that can travel super long distances through intense weather, this form of Dragonite is far more frail and sensitive to its environment. It is neotenous-- meaning that it resembles its younger versions in its adult form. Think of it as the axolotl to the salamander.

They are freshwater dragons that thrive in only the cleanest, most nutrient rich environments. They can fly, but prefer to stay in their home to protect it from harm and pollution. Contrary to their golden counterpart, they are far more wary of humans but will help if necessary.

So I was doing a bit of browsing on the Deviantart channel & came across an art piece that included the scallions, are there plans to include them in the dramatized video at all & if so have you thought of any names for them?

Yes, the scallions are some of the teens main antagonists and DO appear in some episodes. They will definitely appear in the pilot. Dramatization of the pilot will come soon. We had to give them names because calling them scallions 1,2&3 would be weird so, their names are as follows:

Scallion 1: Seth

Scallion 2: Liam

Scallion 3: Jason
