hey everyone!!! I'm an artist who does friendship bracelets (some examples on my blog on #macrame) and i was wondering if anyone would be interested in MBTI bracelets? (sorry for the advertisement)
Hey, guys!
Help another member out :)!
By the way, I want to thank you for initiating this because as a community, if a member needs help, we should be ready to help! Also, I would love to have an MBTI bracelet. Who else?
Welcome to MBTI-Community’s first Competitive MBTI Pokemon teams! The purpose of creating this series is to promote this blog to the MBTI community while spreading it also to the Pokemon community. I’ve been a Pokemon nerd for the longest time but I recently began my journey to master competitive battles. I’m still learning everything about competitive Pokemon battles so please bare with me :)! I will be covering a wide variety of Pokemon teams (from Little Cup to battles with no set regulations) and incorporate MBTI traits into them. I decided to start this series with ESFP as a lot of my favorite Pokemon seem to have qualities that ESFP people might like! If you do not know too much about Pokemon, don’t worry about it! This series is just for fun and I will be incorporating Pokemon Showdown battles at the end of every MBTI Team for visuals.
The format I will be using to display my teams are very similar to @battle-institute as I can credit them to my newly found interest in Pokemon battling. Check out his blog for tips on starting a competitive team and stuff! Thanks, my dude!
From now on, I will give a brief description before delving into the team under the cut, but I will concentrate everything under the cut for this specific post.
ESFP - Fancy and Fluffy
ESFPs are natural performers and enjoy living large. Whether it be through extravagant clothing or through an extravagant presentation, ESFPs are sure to make everyone’s eyes focused on them. With this in mind, I created a team to mirror the cute, fluffy, and eye-catching vibes ESFPs tend to portray! Let’s get started.
The main theme for this team is quick battles and very little stalling. Set-up is for offensive purposes except for one case, but since the team had no tanks and 4/6 were sweepers, there are two beefy Pokemon, but still keep the damage portion in their kits.
#284 - Masquerain
Type: Bug / Flying
Weaknesses: Fire, Flying, Ice, Electric, Rock
Resistances: Bug, Grass, Fighting
Immunity: Ground
Ability -
Intimidate: Upon switching in, all opponent Pokemon and Pairs in range have their Attack dropped by one stage.
Hidden Ability -
Unnerve: When this Pokemon is on the field, opponents cannot use berries.
Base Stats -
70 / 60 / 62 / 80 / 82 / 60 (Total: 414)
Purpose: Leading Support / Set-Up Special Sweeper
Masquerain has always been a Pokemon design that stood out to me - with the big wings on it’s head resembling a predator’s eyes and it’s ability Intimidate, I automatically thought ESFP. ESFPs, though not necessarily intimidating, make you feel a certain way and, and in this case, you might feel intimidation. No big deal though.
In battle though, Masquerain’s job is to set up Sticky Web in order to give an advantage to the rest of its teammates. If the opponent decides to set up, you can set up, too, with a Quiver Dance. One or two Quiver Dances should be enough to take out your other Pokemon’s lead or any Pokemon that switches in, thus allowing Masquerain to snowball.
Set #1 - Web and Wipe (Out)
Ev’s: 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
Ability: Intimidate
Moves:
-Sticky Web
-Quiver Dance
-Air Slash
-Bug Buzz / Giga Drain
Item: Focus Sash
As a Lead, you have one duty - set up the Sticky Web. As stated above, if your opponent opts to set-up, you can set-up as well. Quiver Dance + Air Slash calls for huge neutral or super effective damage for any switch-ins/Baton Passes plus the chance for the opponent to flinch is absolutely amazing. If the opponent managed to knock you down to your Focus Sash, just heal it back up with a Giga Drain and you’ll be fine. However, Air Slash and Bug Buzz provide amazing STAB damage to compliment any Quiver Dance boosts you managed to get. Air Slash is good for common Baton Pass Pokemon such as Blaziken and Ninjask while Bug Buzz can very well drop any Psychic-, Dark-, or Grass-type Pokemon that want to set-up against you or receive Baton Pass bonuses. You will most likely faint after that, though, but the rest of your team can clean-up pretty well after that.
Set #2 - Web and Wipe (Away)
Ev’s: 252 Health / 128 Def / 128 SpDef
Nature: Timid
Ability: Intimidate
Moves:
-Sticky Web
-Defog
-Whirlwind
-Haze
Item: Focus Sash
Masquerain can be an amazing counter to set-ups while allowing to set-up its very own Sticky Web. Speed isn’t really needed with this set as you should be anticipating switch-ins or Baton Passes. However, Sticky Web should be enough to impair any Baton Passes. Haze and Whirlwind can be a bit redundant, but both are excellent to have. Whirlwind is blocked by Substitute or any Protect-like moves, so Haze can be a great option to reset any stats while an opponent is behind that protection. Whirlwind can take-out any unwanted leads or switch-ins. Also, the bit of bulk can allow you to take more hits if your Focus Sash wasn’t used up as Whirlwind does have negative priority while Defog can remove Spikes and T-Spikes on your side of the field.
But enough of this status talk, let’s get to the REAL deal.
#428 - Lopunny (Mega)
Type: Normal / Fighting
Weaknesses: Flying, Psychic, Fighting,
Resistances: Dark, Bug, Poison
Immunity: Ghost
Ability -
Scrappy: Normal- and Fighting-Type moves hit Ghost-Type Pokemon.
Base Stats:
65 / 136 / 94 / 54 / 96 / 135 (Total: 580)
Purpose: Physical Sweeper / Clean-Up
To me, Lopunny screams ESFP. With one of its abilities being Cute Charm in its normal form, the attraction you might feel towards an ESFP can be represented with this Pokemon. Mega-Lopunny presents the fighting spirit of an ESFP, representative of the primary usage of Se, and the design just adds to the flamboyant flair ESFPs tend to possess.
Mega-Lopunny is one of my favorite Megas and Fake Out + Last Resort Pokemon. Most F/O + LR Pokemon are countered by Ghost-Types, but Mega-Lopunny’s Scrappy ability completely removes that qualm, making it a great addition to this ESFP team and the theme of quick sweeping. With the Spider-Web set-up, Lopunny does not have to worry about being out-sped, but speed investment is very much appreciated just in case you do not expect the Last Resort to land.
Set #1 - Get Lop’d
Ev’s: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Health or anyone of the defenses
Nature: Adamant or Jolly
Ability: Scrappy
Moves:
-Fake-Out
-Last Resort
-Protect (Optional) / High Jump Kick (Optional)
Item: Lopunnite
Fake-Out Last Resort is my most favorite combo as any Normal-type can sweep so well with this combination, but Mega-Lopunny shines brighter with that Scrappy ability as stated before. Protect provides protection from if you are expecting any priority moves (Fake-outs or Sucker Punches) while HJK provides coverage against beefy Normal-, Rock-, or Steel- types that can impair your sweeping potential.
#334 - Altaria
Type: Dragon / Flying
Weaknesses: Dragon, Ice, Rock, Fairy
Resistances: Bug, Grass, Fire, Fighting
Immunity: Ground
Ability -
Natural Cure: Swapping out removes any status conditions
Hidden Ability -
Air Lock: Removes any weather conditions
Base Stats:
75 / 70 / 90 / 70 / 105 / 80 (Total: 490)
Purpose: Defensive Wall / Set-up Sweeper
Remember when I said that this theme’s main focus would be Fancy and Fluffy? Well, that’s Altaria’s niche right there, being both fancy and fluffy. In addition, in Pokemon OR/AS, a certain ESFP character possesses an Altaria, so I thought it made sense to put this Pokemon in this theme.
I know I said that I would stop talking about status and stuff, but Altaria provides a safe switch-in for when you know Lopunny or the other sweepers cannot take out a Pokemon in one-hit. With a naturally high SpDef, I opted for making it a Defensive tank with Cotton Guard to cover it’s lower Defense stats and Rest for sustain. If you feel safe to switch-out, you can automatically remove the Sleep condition if you run Natural Cure.
Set #1 - Fluffy, Yet Menacing
Ev’s: 252 Health / 252 SpDef / 4 Atk
Nature: Impish
Ability: Natural Cure or Air Lock
Moves:
-Cotton Guard
-Dragon Dance
-Rest
-Outrage
Items: Lum Berry (if running Air Lock) or Leftovers
Very straight-forward Pokemon, Cotton Guard against Physical Pokemon and Rest when you need to or go straight for a Dragon Dance sweep with Outrage. Since you’ll most likely go first, Cotton Guard will be more than enough to tank any physical hits.
#700 - Sylveon
Type: Fairy
Weaknesses: Poison, Steel
Resistances: Bug, Fighting
Immunity: Dragon
Ability -
Cute Charm: Physical Attacks from a Pokemon of the opposite gender may infatuate
Hidden Ability -
Pixilate: Turns Normal-Type moves into Fairy-Type whilst boosting their power
Base Stats:
95 / 65 / 65 / 110 / 130 / 60 (Total: 525)
Purpose: Bulky Special Sweeper
Sylveon can be argued as a more Fe Pokemon, but its design seems like something ESFPs would enjoy, so I included it into this theme :-)! The ribbons on this Pokemon make it stand out and being a Fairy-Type adds to the whimsical nature ESFPs tend to portray.
This is another wally Pokemon, but its such a versatile Pokemon thus allowing it to sweep well. It also benefits well from the enemy speed drop as you will not be investing any speed in this somewhat slow Pokemon.
Set #1 - Pixie Power
Ev’s: 252 Health / 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef
Nature: Modest or Calm
Ability: Pixilate
Moves:
-Calm Mind
-Psyshock
-Hyper Voice
-Shadow Ball
Items: Sitrus Berry
Sylveon’s more on the offensive-side with that Calm Mind boosting. Also, it’s coverage is absolutely amazing. I’ve caught people off guard with that Psyshock (which uses the user’s SpAtk stat vs the opponents Def state) as they switched in their SpDef wall expecting a special attack. Hyper Voice is great as it breaks through subs and Shadow Ball to break through Ghost-Types or provide neutral damage vs Steel-Types. Very easy Pokemon to use and sweeps well.
#573 - Cinccino
Type: Normal
Weaknesses: Fighting
Resistances: None
Immunity: Ghost
Abilities -
Cute Charm: Physical Attacks from a Pokemon of the opposite gender may infatuate
Technician: Boosts the power of moves with 60 BP (or less) by 50%
Hidden Ability -
Skill Link: Multi-hit moves gain a 100% chance of hitting all 5-times
Base Stats:
75 / 95 / 60 / 65 / 60 / 115 (Total: 470)
Purpose: Speedy Physical Sweeper
Just like Altaria, this Pokemon is both fancy and fluffy. In addition, this Pokemon takes care of its appearance through grooming often. This attention to personal appearance relates to Se-Fi very well. Not only is it conscious of its appearance but also possesses a high fighting spirit with tons of offensive capabilities, making it almost a cover Pokemon for the ESFP typing.
Cinccino is often used as a sweeper due to its Skill Link ability and amazing coverage with most multi-hit moves, such as Rock Blast, Bullet Seed, and Tail Slap. In addition to out speeding most opponents, the guaranteed 5-hits coupled with a King’s Rock gives your opponent a ~40% of flinching.
Set #1 - Fluff Flinching
Ev’s: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Hp
Nature: Jolly or Adamant
Ability: Skill Link
Moves:
-Tail Slap
-Rock Blast
-Bullet Seed
-U-Turn/Wake-Up Slap
Items: King’s Rock
Awesome coverage with this Pokemon. The last slot can be anything, but I prefer Wake-Up Slap for coverage vs bulky Steel-types, but you should probably switch-out if they bring out any Steel-types. Although this Pokemon is super fun to use, it’s very predictable and should be brought out on weakened tanks.
#25 - Pikachu (Pop-Star)
Type: Electric
Weaknesses: Ground
Resistances: Steel, Electric
Immunity: None
Abilities -
Lightning Rod: Absorbs in Electric-type moves and boosts Special Attack
Base Stats:
35 / 55 / 40 / 50 / 50 / 90 (Total: 320)
Purpose: Speedy Physical Support
The reason why I chose this specific Cosplay Pikachu is because of ESFP stereotypes that present ESFPs as pop-stars and in addition to many media characters have similar character design or tropes. Also, Pikachu just seems like an ESFP’s choice for a Pokemon with its versatile design that can be viewed as both cute and cool.
Set #1 - ParaSwagTract
Ability: Lightning Rod
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Moves:
- Swagger
- Nuzzle
- Knock Off
- Attract
Item: Brightpowder or Focus Sash
No team is complete without hacks. When I was making this team, I was super bored, so decided to make a gimmicky set for a physical Pikachu. This Pikachu has ParaSwag in addition to Attract for added hacks. If a Pokemon tries to switch-in, a Knock Off will do them well. For further damage, the Brightpowder was added to make them miss if it wasn’t hard enough to hit you. Overall, this was a fun set to make and thought it added a whimsical addition to the team.
Weaknesses:
As you can see, this team is very weak against Steel-types as none of the sets are built to deal with them very well (unless you run HJK on Mega-Lopunny). I used this as a symbolical way of representing that ESFPs tend to live an idealized way experiencing life through high amounts of action and fun. Steel-types are rigid, cold, and structured - qualities that ESFPs do not like to possess whilst traversing their life journey. However, through willpower, dedication, and tact, an ESFP can easily avoid those obstacles that stifle the amount of enjoyment they get from life. You only live life once, why not enjoy it?
ESFP Team in Action:
None of my battles are very high-rated, but the main purpose is showing off the set.
I see that 29 of you guys are following this blog! I’m so excited to get this community up-and-running. But, I cannot do it without your help. I’m really stressing that adding yourself onto the Google Docs survey is important and reblogging this post holds much weight.
Thank you, in advance!
Edit: Also, if you are already signed up, please follow through with the submission <3!
Hey everyone! I’d like to remind you guys to sign-up on the Google Docs so I can record the statistics! Also, there are a handful of discussion questions that I would love to have the community replying to just so we can have a good understanding of each other. Also, please help out in spreading the word!
I literally just copied and pasted Jo's example description and am filling that in.
Personal Things
My name is Lillian, but I go by Lily. I use she/her pronouns.
INTJ. I'm uncertain about what my enneagram type is and whether I'm 1w2 or 5w6, because my test results are always about even on both. I don't really have a good understanding of how enneagram works. I'll probably look into this more later.
I'm a Scorpio, and my birthday is October 25th.

I'm really into cartoons and some video games.
I'm also interested in art, but most of my stuff is traditional, ceramic, or school-related so I don't really post anything online.
I love cats, and I have a siamese cat named Ginger that I've I had since I was eight years old.
Basics
I'm going to be entering my third year of high school when school starts up again this fall, as of June 2016.
Most of my time is dedicated towards school activities. My favorite subjects are usually whatever math-related classes I'm taking that year.
I'm kind of obsessive and a workaholic if I get really focused on something, so sometimes my life will just be school school school and I'll totally drop everything else.
Music
I play the clarinet in band. I'm also learning how to play the piano, but I've been playing the clarinet much longer. I'm actually not very good at either instrument though. Music is my weak spot.
My taste in music is a mess. I've gone through a lot of phases, including a Lady Gaga phase. I also like Panic! At the Disco style stuff. I'll listen to pretty much anything, but I'm also kind of picky? I don't know.
I really like listening to cartoon/video game/movie soundtracks.
Hobbies
I'm into painting, and acrylics is my favorite medium. I also have some experience with pottery making, but I prefer 2d art.
I used to be into reading, but I haven't read anything this year that wasn't required for school.
I've gotten really lazy recently and honestly spend most of my time on the computer playing video games, mainly the sims.
I've never been in a community like this, so I'm pretty excited.
So this is is in response to the second discussion; when meeting a new person do you feel that figuring out their MBTI type helps you get to know them?
Well I have to say it makes things easier for me. I do try to type people I see, but it’s usually easier to just ask them outright (at my school we had to do a MBTI test and write an analysis on it so most people do know)
As is my INTP nature, I find it hard to talk to people in general. Knowing what somebody’s type is does make it easier for me to get along with them, a lot of the feelers are pretty easy to talk to and I’ve noticed a pattern in what to say in conversation with most of them, some of the rationals get along with myself better than some of the others, ect.
I haven’t gotten to the point where I’m just thinking about their type when I’m talking to them but I do notice things. ‘Oh, he’s doing stereotypical high Se things’ or 'that’s probably his Ne making him say that’.
I mean I do find it easier to get along with people with similar type or functions, especially when they like similar things, I know I can just ramble incoherently and they’ll get it. Or, I know if I ramble incoherently about things they’ll hardcore judge me and so I shouldn’t.
Also, if I ask somebody for their MBTI type or bring it up into the conversation and they understand and are able to tell me what their type is/about it, I know that they know about the MBTI theory, at the very least, and that’s a conversation starter (god help me I need those) and I can talk to them about it.
When meeting a new person, do you feel that figuring out their MBTI type helps you get to know them?
Respond either through reblogging this or submitting your response :)!
Honestly, in my opinion no. For one thing, each person is different and although knowing the type can key you in to some of their traits or whatnot, it won’t necessarily tell you anything specifically about them. Heck, some people may even be on the border for every aspect or something else which makes the type effectively useless. I think that there definately are some things you can take out of someones MBTI, sure, but I also think that just by talking to them you can figure out quite a bit without having to be told what their type is. Now, if you simply mean that looking at someone new you meet and trying to type them, sure I think that could help just because you look more carefully at them and try and figure stuff out about how they think. That can certainly help to know someone, but don’t expect to nail them into on category and that be it. Humans are complicated beings and there is no stereotype you could apply to any one group without it being true of everyone or just being the definition of said group.
TLDR: It can be useful to try and figure out how a person you meet might think, but restricting yourself to singular definitions of types could be harmful in understanding them as a fluid human being.
i type everyone. all the time. no exceptions. seeing ppl as real isn’t my strong suit and understanding how to interact with them naturally is not my forte either (7th place Fe). i type them bc its Fun™, also bc i have no idea how to socialize and typing them makes knowing how to treat them easier. also bc its a way to cope with social anxiety, like if talking to someone is stressful, don’t sweat it. just try to interpret what they’re saying and type them instead :))))

Whenever I meet someone new, I feel like figuring out their dominant function helps me understand their responses and potential future conversations with them. For example, whenever I meet an Ne-Dom person, I expect to have conversations that go off in different places, so I know I need to pay attention and not be surprised if they something out-of-worldly. Introverts are a bit easier and relaxing to deal with as they would prefer if you led the conversation, but I remember that sometimes the conversations might get dry and I’ll need to step up my conversation game. With MBTI, I can confidently say that I am far more comfortable with different people and it helps me remove any anxieties that I have.
As the blog nears it’s first 50 followers and also the addition of several new members (not everybody submitted yet, so please do so!), I want to create the blog’s very first discussion post.
From now on, the blog will feature several different interactive posts.
The first of the interactive posts will be the discussion prompts. Anyone is allowed to participate and many will be one-sided and dependent on personal experience or knowledge.
Examples: ‘How do you feel about XXXXs?’, ‘What is your experience like with people with your same type?’, etc.
The second will be centered around community member submitted questions that relate with typing and advice. These questions can be either anonymous or off-anon, but will be posted to be shared with the community unless stated otherwise.
Examples: ‘I need help with typing’, ‘What is the best way to approach an XXXX?’, etc.
Finally, debate prompts will be created as this blog progresses in popularity and in membership size. Though it is difficult to create debates on this theory, I can see typing debates regarding certain celebrity figures, TV show characters, and so on.
Regarding these posts, any member is allowed to initiate in the creation of a discussion or debate prompt.
Without further ado, the very first discussion prompt:
What is your type and how well do you fit within the stereotypes of your type? Do you relate with your cognitive functions?
Reblog or send in your response via a submission or ask!
So, I talked about this sort of a bit already in the intro post, but my type is basically an XNTP. Really the intro ot extra changes when I take said test, so it’s more along the line of those two, but the reason I choose INTP over the other is because of the tropes and just talking with other INTPs and relating to their experiences and thought patterns. None the less though, because of the more outgoing nature I don’t have as much trouble with conversing with others and generally find it easy - so long as I don’t talk with someone that has authority over me.
Despite the X, I do relate with the cognitive functions rather well, though none are too extreme in any case. I think a lot about how events will play out, attempting to guess. I’m not bad at puzzles either, sort of needing the ability to look through and find patterns in things. The minute any sort of challenge or upset happens it is immediately thinking that takes care of that, and I rely on it p much constantly (it does help to have such a great ability to connect ideas and remember concepts).
What is your type and how well do you fit within the stereotypes of your type? Do you relate with your cognitive functions?
Hi hi! So I didn’t see any answers to the question and thought i’d answer?or something
So I’m an INTP. I fit in with 96% of the stereotypes. Think of it and I’ll cringe and nod. Lazy nerd? me. Too many wikipedia articles open? me. What is sleep? went to sleep at 2 AM doing a project assigned 3 weeks ago and woke up at 4:30 this morning. still semi functioning. But yesterday it was 14 hours of sleep. school? meh didn’t study for my last social test and pulled an 84. Am I hungry? I don’t know. I have a cut on my middle finger and some black marks on my hand and don’t know where they come from. Blank gaze in my eyes as I ignore everything? of course, have sat with my art table for 5 months and spoke to them literally only 6 times. Can’t think of many stereotypes at the top of my head but chances are i’m probably them all or most.
if you need more examples there’s the fact that all throughout winter (I live in Canada) i have literally only worn 5 hoodies on a repeated cycle. Sometimes i wore the same one for like three days in a row. i am disgusting. I have started legit 25 different story ideas (cuz i like to write though i’m hella bad and all my main characters are sociopaths) but have dropped most, also there’s like 123456u76543 more ideas in my head.
The other day some girl in one of my classes told me she literally thought I didn’t speak and was shocked to see me hysterically screaming/sobbing with the two people i let my Ne out with.
is that intp enough for you? i have tons more example. i’m so embarrassing oh gosh
As for whether or not I relate with my cognitive functions, I’d have to say I mostly do? There was a series of posts I read some time ago which gave examples of how high Ne and low Fe express themselves in a person and the entire lists i was sighing and nodding. yes. yes that’s me. I will stay quiet but will scream if i like you. the other day i met a girl who shared many interests of mine and my only other friend was shocked that I was speaking so much and so loudly to someone other than her. when it comes to things i’m passionate about i will change fucking personalities aka set free my high Ne without letting it go through my high Ti. but yeah. also low Fe is a pain. And low Si. I don’t know anything.
Hello! I'm copying the others because i mean hey. I go by JPP or Storm, whatever works
Things:
I am an INTP. I'm not as into the MBTI community as others (still learning, got into mbti hell not too long ago) but I am fully confident in that. Legit. I'm 96% the stereotype INTP. It's embarrassing.
my blog is basically trash don't even bother. it's just reposts and the occasional fic i force myself to upload
feminazis stop. just stop. i don't support feminism. i support gender equality. men = women. equal. doesn't matter. gender is not everything. i go by they/them nouns, but he/him and she/her work too. literally don't care. think of me as a slug. a pool of slug. ew, no don't do that. a cat. or salamander or snake oh yes a snake!! i'll be a snake.
Ravenclaw/Slytherin. Literally don't even know. get half and half on every test and can't decide. both work depending on my mood
Likes:
I am one of the supposedly rare INTPs that don't like math. I spent a couple hours yesterday writing 6k words, I'm into reading/writing. Though everything I write is really cringey. I'm working on it.
Music: literally anything goes if it is catchy. and headbangy. I do the thing where I like to break down the music alot? But no paricular type. oh but not slow songs, can't stand them they're boring af
What do i like? idk. anything goes. reading i guess. does it matter. oh but not romance, that's boring and too emotional and crap and never has decent plot lines. love is very, very small part of life. it is not life. i feel no sympathy for romantic bullshit/drama in general
oh i like anime!!! alot!!! too much!!! talk to me about it plz do!!!
anything else? missing something? message me or something haha

Mod’s answer will always be under the cut :)
I have been typed mainly as ‘J’ types, but out of all of the ‘Js’, I felt like ENTJ and ENFJ have correlated with my personality. I have a strength sense of vision and I am very forward-thinking and sometimes I notice things people do not really notice (Ni), but my dominant function has always confused me. Many tests believe I have a balance between Te and Fe, but all in all, Fe has been the leading cursor throughout my life.
Extraverted Feeling deals with social standards, presentations and perceptions, and relations with other people. Throughout my life, I have been very meticulous with how I am perceived by others and have often changed my personality and looks just to fit in. Although this may not seem like a very positive thing, I believe that it allows me to be open-minded with my relations. I see myself as a chameleon, meaning, I fix myself to match with my social environment. If I were in a group with full of introverts, I mirror their personalities, moods, and quirks yet retain my preference for extroversion. If I’m in a group full of eccentric or spontaneous people, they give me energy to match their spontaneity.
Otherwise, I am a very person-driven and dependent human-being and it gives me a leg up in certain situations, but as life goes on, I can confirm that it does sometimes give me problems that I have been called out on before.
Hey there! Have you posted any selfies? I'm curious ^_^ Also on the MBTI survey why do we have to sign into a google/gmail account?
Anon!
Thank you for the ask.
Currently, one member submitted a post in which they have chosen to attach their submission with a picture of themselves. You are not required to post one with a selfie, but I feel like in order to promote a deeper sense of community is through sharing pictures of ourselves and sharing our accomplishments.
On the MBTI survey, I created the survey via Google Accounts as Google is a very credible and safe website. If you are concerned of your Internet footprint, your email is not recorded whenever I view the results - only your responses.
Have a nice day, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me :).
Hey, my name is Josh. I am basically following Jo’s example as it comes to the description because why not.
Things:
- Technically, I am an XNTP because the I or E changed simply based on when I take the test, varying usually only 0-7% from a dead even result. Looking at the definitions of introvert an extrovert do not exactly help either. Basically the difference is which I do to recharge: talk with people or be alone, and really I need a mix of both. I chose INTP over ENTP though because I tend to resonate with those posts more.
- 5w6 Wing, which I only know because of a homestuck title test. Both the INTP and 5w6 have been consistent results for me for about 4 years now, so I think its safe to say that’s what I am.
- I really don’t tend to change much over time honestly. Speaking patterns are the same, and I don’t have many strong opinions about anything (keyword: many). I have been told more than a few times that it makes me rather neutral and good to have in disagreements or the like, but personally:
- I don’t exactly like myself, though you wont hear it a ton from me because that’s not really fun, so lets get on to more fun things!
- Graduated yesterday actually. I am a certified adult lmao not that I would ever consider myself very mature.
- I suppose Ill spoil the shock of the next one by adding in that I know how to program on the computer. Currently I only really use Lua though at some point I should probably learn a new language to make stuff. I would like to make a game at some point but I am terribly unmotivated most of the time and run out of steam for new ideas p fast, even if I get super exited to start, so without someone else sort of pushing me to work I end up…not doing that thing. I have made a bunch of more utility programs for various things though such as a custom made magic system and battle system for a roleplay game some friends of mine play, and a few rather broken translators.
Hobbies:
- Really, most of my time I spend on the computer. Whether it be programming things or playing games or messaging people on skype or just watching shows on the internet, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to say I spend all of my waking hours on it. Heck, I even stream music from youtube often while I do the other things.
- Really that one message basically encompasses everything I do.
- Oh, also occasionally art, but usually that is pixel art and is…also on the computer. Nice one.
Music:
- Okay, so my music taste is very broad. You can go from electronic dubstep songs to heavy metal to light videogame chiptunes and back to some rap stuff. It really just varies on whatever catches my ear when I hear it. The only thing that I have never really liked is country music, though I do appreciate the lyrical content in some songs.
- If I had to list some of my favorite artists, then I would most definitely have to say my favorite is Twenty One Pilots. Apart from that, I am really bad at remembering specific names. Celldweller is pretty good. I like a lot of Owl City and Imagine Dragons stuff, but I don’t often listen to them. Used to listen to a lot of ADTR, and I still do like some of their songs (though whether it be for nostalgic reasons or not I could not tell you). Also Fall Out Boy/Panic! At the disco stuff is p great to sing along to. As far as electronic music goes - there’s a playlist for that (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkLzCfT8iTGbO7qc1Jh-jDvswpi98wWPK), though there’s no Pendulum on there. I think that’s enough music wise.
Well, I think that’s more than enough. Sorry for being so long!
