I will not be putting these on bandcamp. However, with the commissioner’s permission, I may make them available for free download.

As it is... there are ways to get audio from the tumblr player... if a person wants to and is dedicated enough...

...but I won’t tell how.

Tarby - Apathy WIP (sketch cover)

I've been doing this thing whenever I have a couple of hours of extra time. Basically I force myself to sit down and make short sketches in 1-2 hours or less. The idea is not to practice mixing or mastering or composition in particular, but rather to just practice using the tools and reinforcing familiarity with all my plugins. Sometimes it comes out passable and sometimes what comes out of these sessions is unintelligible trash.

Anyways, a couple days ago, balladoftarby released a WIP of a track he was working on and I noticed that it was in c minor, the easiest of all keys to program an orchestra for. So I messed around with the chords and themes he wrote for about an hour and a half and this is what came out.

Nothing will come of this, but I think I might start posting sketches since lately they've been coming out as utter garbage less and less.
