"So, this is, like, totally true" she admitted "I'm, like, a crazy witch and shit! Like, lookit how I made my hat levitate..."
She followed that promise with a weird word that materialized it, said black hat beginning to float over her hand while she looked at me with those puppy eyes so eager for my attention.
Attention I gave her, nodding and smiling, eyebrow raising in obvious amazement, that she probably would have realized as insincere and paternalistic were she in any way capable of such doubt.
She was not, not at the moment at least.
"Anyways, liiiiike I'm showing you just a little enchantment but I can do waaaay more better stuff, liiiiike memory stuff, y'know? Like, one moment, you're here and you don't know why and how you got in my bathroom and I'm in my bathtub? That'd be me, hihi, stealing your memories."
Again, I nodded, benevolently, knowing full well how I got here and why, while she didn't remember undressing to her underwear and getting in said tub. Just because I asked her to.
"Oh, and, like, obedience spells? I know the bestest obedience spell! It's like, poof, one moment you're like, super smart and stuff, and the next you're all in la-la land, and in love with me, and you can't help doing every thing I say, because it makes you all tingly and happy! Like, sometimes, boys, or even girls I use it on they're like, all over me, trying to impress me and please me, and I'm, like-"
"Wow, why don't you, I don't know, cast that spell on me," I offered, cutting her "say, multiple times? Would that break the concentration for the first spell or?..."
She shook her head, radiant hyperactive vapidity.
"Oh, noes, in fact, that's the bestest thing! The spell, it doesn't require me to be, like, all focus-y and stuff! I can just totes do it and bam, you're my little love crazy pet. For. Hours."
"So, casting it multiple times on the same target would?..."
"Oh, yeah, forgot about that, tee-hee! Well, the effects are, say it with me: cu-mu-la-tive. Oh, you didn't. Anyways. That's a fancy word for, the more you cast it, the more longer it lasts and the more stronger it becomes. Like, that other time, I had that girl I cast it on and she was, like, for days with me, I had to make her be my footstool so much I didn't care! I only cast it on her, like, three times. Four maybe."
"And is there anyone who taught you this stuff?" I asked, now moving on to the next item in my check list.
"Noooes, I just found this creepy old book and, y'know? Kept it hidden, just in case, but I read it from time to time."
"Great, sweetie. Where is that book?"
She looked a bit... concerned would not be the term. Sheepish, with a side of caught in a trap of her own making.
"But... I... the book, it's something I shouldn't... I mean... I totally lo- like you but..."
I sighed, and my fingers reached for the little amulet hung on my neck.
"It's ok, honey." I replied "Look, why don't you cast this super love spell on me again? And then the memory loss spell. This way you can really trust me, and I'll forget about your book, right?"
Her eyes widened as realization dawned on her.
"That's... that's a great idea! Wow, I'm so lucky I'm with someone smart like you! Just... wait... I... focus..."
The string of outlandish words she uttered and the gestures she made were followed by a long shudder of her body, like a sweet, tiny orgasm had washed over her, and she shook her head.
"Oh, this feels sooo... hmmm..." she breathed, hoarsely "...I mean, wow, it never felt like... hmm... like this before..."
Her eyes were falling on me again, and I could see by her expression that she was already past caring for that memory loss spell.
"You're... so... totally... cool..."
Her eyes were blinking, slowly, her breath heavy and charged with arousal. I sighed.
"Forget about the memory spell."
"Hmm-'kay..." her head bobbed up and down dumbly "...y'sooo coool..."
"Yeah, that's... that's fine. Look, tell me where the book is, and we can start to have even more fun..."
I watched as she absent-mindedly went to a closet, and pulled the priceless tome from under a pile of towels. Amateur. She could have damaged it, in such a humid room.
But at the same time, that also meant she wasn't aware an amulet of Barrin can be used to reflect a spell back to its caster. And all in all, it made life for me easier.
I would of course have to take her back to my shop, to make sure she's not a persistent nuisance, by brainwashing her to the point her mind would be fractured into a thousand tiny pieces I would reorganize any way I saw fit, but that would mean one more diligent, and somewhat competent employee, once basic training had stuck...
