I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ELSE BUT FOUND THIS
WTH I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE-
These genuinely look really sick, especially the "Spirit Newton," it looks as if he's being struck by lightning! It also looks like his body is literally disintegrating, like he's turning into a ghost O_O
I think he would've been far more intimidating if they leaned more into this "spirital possession" aspect.
I can't tell what the top left says, it looks like.. "BIT MR. JECKEL??" Idk..
The middle one looks to say, "TOOTROOT CRAZY"
I like how his hat breaks, like it can't handle the energy coarsing through him, his tentacle-like coat at the bottom also adds to his eeriness.
I LOVE how he looks here! These look like hypothetical boss phases if we didn't fight the purple Titan at the end and instead fought Newton himself.
I think the one on the top right says, "PSYCHO 'JUST LET OUT FOR THE DAY' LOBOTOMY STYLE CRACKED BULB REVEAL" which is pretty disturbing because that's why his hat is broken. He likely absorbed so much creativity that his body can't contain it and it's literally leaking out of him...
The one on the bottom says, "buttons turn into cascade of floating clocks." I have no idea what this means, it seems pretty abstract.
Zombie Newton is pretty cool, I like how stretched his eyes are :>

It looks like Newton got captured at one point and put into an asylum, there also looks to be a shard of glass wedged in his head??? Either that, or it's the triangle from his egg timer hat.
In the bottom left, his form is different and it looks like there's flies circling him. It almost looks like he's hiding something under his clothes, like he's 3 Titans in a trenchcoat. 👀
The plasma ball one is pretty sick
The one on the bottom right just looks bloated, as if the creativity he's absorbed went to his stomach instead of his head
I can't quite tell what the writing says on the top left, but he looks like that other concept art of him with the red eyes.
This other straight jacket one is also concerning since he doesn't have a crack in his bulb, and is holding that triangle... whatever it is as if he's gonna stab someone...
The rest of these are earlier versions of the other concepts.
All of these concepts are incredibly interesting and it's a shame that they went unused, it's just another example of what Lbp3 could've been like if it wasn't rushed :/
I really like the spiritual possession ones and the ones with the cracked head, they make Newton look more dangerous and unstable. I would've LOVED if they explored how being possessed by the Titans affected Newton in-game, judging by this concept art, it looks like he would've suffered drastic changes both physically and psycologically. I think if one of these concepts were used, Newton would've been a far more intimidating antagonist.
