So After two years of admiring Vinnie Bagwell’s  spectacular sculptors.  I decided to take a sculpting class.  It has been 10 amazing weeks of growth, exploration and pure delight!  After the first couples hours in class it was like my fingers were so eager to explore and just DO!  Got the tingles and everything, similar feeling to when I paint.   The photos above are of two of the most important moments for me.  The moment I had to cut open what “I thought”, was a finished sculpture.  I almost pooped because I just knew my queens afro puff was going to be ruined.  ( whew! it wasn’t :)   and the moment I was really done and she was taken to dry and get ready to be fired.  These moments represent the entire experience for me.  Working through fear to accomplish your dreams, and trusting yourself, creativity and spirit in the process.  

So friends I encourage you if there’s something you know you want to try, DO IT!

and Trust yourself and know it doesn’t need to be perfect, just do whatever it is in excellence!

Lemons come at me all the time. today the passing of the healthcare bill is just another lemon. Yes it more than upsetting and yes everyone I know would be effected including myself. Lets see what the senate does with this bill next. Whats saddening to me is all the people that are now upset with how congresspeople, presidents our government is voting,and the laws they are passing. Many didn’t pay attention to the acts of violence against citizens, the massive increases in homelessness, the quality of the air we breath or the food we eat until…now. How could so many have chosen ignorance for so long.
